Jessica Biel had the cutest date for day four of the 2024 US Open Tennis Championship. And no, we’re not talking about her husband, Justin Timberlake, but instead, the couple’s 9-year-old son Silas, who joined his mom for a rare public outing in New York City.

On Thursday, the mother-son duo were spotted enjoying a match in the stands at the USTA Billie Jean King Tennis Center. For the occasion, Biel wore a cream-colored pantsuit with a coordinating silky tank top underneath and aptly accessorized with a diamond tennis necklace, as well as a black handbag and platform shoes. Her blonde bob was styled sleek and straight with a middle part, while a pink lip and flushed cheeks rounded out her glam.

Silas, meanwhile, wore a blue-and-green striped polo shirt with khaki pants and navy Adidas sneakers.

In addition to Silas, Biel and Timberlake are also parents to a 4-year-old son named Phineas. Over the years, the parents of two have done their best to keep their boys out of the spotlight—even moving from Los Angeles to Montana in an effort to give them a normal childhood.

“I try to be conscious of making sure we can live a life where we’re not weirdly private,” Justin said during an appearance on the Armchair Expert podcast in 2021. “But we’re conscious of making sure they can be kids for as long as possible and not have the weight of somebody else treating them differently because of something that their parents do.”

He continued, “I have great fear that, like, kids are going to hang out with them solely because of that or resent them because of that. Like, to me, the two options seem both seem terrible. Either they’re going to have fake friends or they people hate them for no reason.”
