Justin and Hailey Beiber have welcomed their first child – and the sentimental meaning behind their adorable baby name has been revealed.

It comes shortly after the singer, 30, and his wife, 27, announced the wonderful news in the early hours on Saturday morning.

Taking to Instagram, Justin posted a picture of Hailey’s hands holding up their little one’s tiny feet alongside the caption: “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER.”

It has only been five hours since the Grammy-award-winning performer published the image, but it has already received almost 10 million likes from fans who are clearly very excited for the couple.

“Omg my heart is melting, congrats,” one user wrote, while another added: “CONGRATS ON BEING A FATHER.”

A third also commented: “Welcome JACK BLUES… Hope a long & healthy life with your dad and mom. Congratulations Justin and [Hailey].”

The model posted the same photo to her Instagram Stories afterward along with the newborn’s name and a teddy bear and blue heart emoji.

Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, congratulated the couple on X tweeting: “CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey. I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!”

Hailey’s dad, Stephen Baldwin, re-shared Pattie’s tweet, adding: “Amen, Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family.”

Many have been pointing out that ‘Jack’ is notably the middle name of Justin’s father, Jeremy Bieber who separated from Pattie when they were both 18 years old.

Even though the ‘Beauty and a Beat’ star didn’t see him much during his childhood, according to the Daily Mail, the pair seemingly re-connected in his adult years and now have a pretty close relationship.

Others on social media have also pointed out that on Justin’s side, everyone now has a moniker that equals to the 30-year-old’s nickname “JB” – Jeremy Bieber, Justin Bieber, his sister Jazmyn Bieber, his younger brother, Jaxon Bieber and now his son, Jack Blues.

The couple first announced they were expecting a child together in May 2024, sharing the exciting news on Instagram.

Hailey shared a beautiful retro video of her and her husband having a vow renewal.

The Rhode Beauty founder was wearing a maxi, lace white dress with a veil, highlighting her growing bump. She also shared a handful of photos of her with Justin, with one particular shot of a close-up showing him standing behind her and cradling her stomach.

The star has always been open about wanting children with her other half, previously telling ELLE back in 2021 that she and Justin were always on the same page about starting a family together.

“We always knew that we were aligned on what we wanted in our future,” she said. “We had talked about wanting to be married young and having a family young and building a life. Even before we knew we wanted to be with each other.”
