Celtics star Jaylen Brown is still in the process of taking back his social media account after being invaded by a hacker. On Tuesday, Brown’s account went viral for the hacking, and fans were divided after seeing some of his recent posts.

Jaylen seemingly lost his account on Tuesday morning, and the hacker has posted over 25 times in the last three hours. The first post by this mysterious hacker was a promotion for cryptocurrency, which only earned five likes.

The nameless hacker also posted about having “baddies” courtside while tagging Iggy Azalea.

In one particularly inappropriate post, “Jaylen Brown” went on about famous American actress Syndey Sweeney and how she’s sticking it to the racists.

In a now-deleted tweet, he wrote “f*ck Tatum” after a request by the fans who apparently want to drive a wedge between the Celtics stars.

While we can’t be sure of the hacker’s intentions, it seems safe to assume that he wants to drive up the price of his cryptocurrency in order to make a quick buck. So instead of going out of his way to troll Jaylen Brown with wild posts, the hacker is taking it as an opportunity to trick people into investing in his currency.

The fans seem unimpressed so far but it remains to be seen when Brown will regain access to his account. It could be hours, days, or longer before the issue is resolved and Jaylen Brown could miss out on key endorsements in the process. Keep in mind that this is all coming just days after Jaylen released his new single with FERG titled ‘Just Do It.’

Unfortunately, it’s yet another obstacle for Brown in what has been a mixed summer. On one hand, Jaylen has a lot to celebrate after winning the championship and being crowned as the MVP of the Eastern Conference and NBA Finals.

On the other hand, he was looking to enact revenge after being overlooked at the Paris Olympic Games this summer. Despite three of his teammates getting an invite, Jaylen was noticeably overlooked and he’s going to carry that chip on his shoulder through the entirety of the 2024-25 campaign. This hacker is yet another thing that has gone sour for Jaylen this summer and it’s come at a really bad time with the NBA season on the horizon.

Assuming that Brown is able to re-take control of his social media, the only thing left for him to do is step up and deliver when it counts the most. Fresh off winning the title, Brown and his Celtics will have a major target on their backs and how they respond will tell us their chances of defending their championship and going back-to-back.

One way or another, Jaylen Brown (27) will be part of the equation, and his play will have a major impact on how the next season plays out. After the best performance of his life (averages of 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game last season) he’s due for another All-Star year but it may still not be enough to defeat the best teams in the East.

After this fiasco on social media, Brown may come into training camp partially defeated, distracted, and overly cautious over this ordeal and it remains to be seen when/if the nightmare will end. But as the face and a leader of the Celtics, he has no choice but to step up and take charge no matter what internet hackers have stolen from him.
