Britney Spears’ fans unanimously “block” Justin Timberlake on the music charts
Fans of Britney Spears certainly cannot forget the bitterness that Justin Timberlake caused to the singer during the time the two were in love.
Justin Timberlake recently released a new song called Selfish, which promises to become a hit in early 2024. However, contrary to expectations, Selfish could not lead the iTunes charts because it was “blocked” by Britney Spears’ song of the same name which was released in 2011.
This is a unanimous action by Britney Spears fans to “revenge” or “tease” Justin Timberlake for the bitterness he caused to the pop princess during the time the two were in love. Not stopping there, Britney’s fans continue to revive songs from the album Femme Fatale (released in 2011) on this chart, showing their loyalty and support for Britney Spears.
Previously, Justin Timberlake angered the audience when Britney publicized the truth about the relationship between her and the male singer in her memoir The Woman In Me. In the book, the singer born in 1981 revealed that he had to have an abortion because Justin did not want to be a father.
The fact is that Britney Spears fans have long had a grudge against the singer since he released his hit Cry Me a River in 2002. In this MV, Justin Timberlake implies that he was cheated on by the female pop star and this is the reason for the breakup. Even the female character in the MV has the exact same physique as Britney Spears, from her hair to her outfit, which makes the public believe that the pop princess has betrayed Justin Timberlake.
According to a source from the Daily Mail, the owner of the hit Sexy Back is not satisfied and has no intention of contacting his ex again after the memoir is released. He also once expressed concern about the secrets related to his past love affair with Britney being exposed to the public again.
