Jessica Biel smiled as she filmed a scene for her new television show The Better Sister in New York City on Monday.

The actress, 42, who displayed her athletic prowess in a workout video with husband Justin Timberlake, 43, looked lovely in a multi-toned maxi with horizontal stripes as she shot the sidewalk scene.

The Candy actress wore a pair of neutral high heel sandals with the frock and donned a light weight tan trench coat for the look.

The hair and makeup department played down Biel’s stunning looks, making her look more like an all-American girl, with natural looking makeup.

Her dark blonde locks were styled in a chin-length bob.

When ‘action’ was called, the Emmy nominee was seen carrying a banker’s box without a lid as she strolled along the sidewalk.

She stopped for a moment to chat with a crew member in between takes.

Biel is co-starring with Elizabeth Banks in The Better Sister for Amazon Prime Video.

The show is based on the Alafair Burke novel by the same name.

In the plot, Biel’s Chloe ‘moves through the world with her handsome lawyer husband Adam and teenage son Ethan.’

Banks’ Nicky is estranged from her sister Chloe and ‘hustles to make ends meet while trying to stay clean,’ according to Variety.

When Adam is brutally murdered, the prime suspect sends shockwaves through the family, laying bare long-buried secrets.

Biel will serve as a producer with partner Michelle Purple under their Iron Ocean Films banner.

No release date has been revealed for The Better Sister.

Biel’s husband, Justin Timberlake, has reportedly promised his wife he will clean up his act after his DUI arrest in June, according to OK! magazine.

‘He’s still got his computer games to zone out with, but as far as vices go, they’re all gone — and, as anyone knows, it can a big adjustment period,’ a source told the outlet.
