Jack Draper put his frustration to one side and kept it classy after losing at the hands of Andrey Rublev in the final of the Qatar Open.

The young Brit was seeking his first-ever victory over his Russian rival but was unable to deliver the goods, slipping to a 7-5 5-7 6-1 defeat.

The first two sets were closely contested, each going to a tiebreak with Rublev drawing first blood and Draper hitting back at the second time of asking.

He began to tire in the decisive third set, though, which allowed Rublev to gain the upper hand and power his way to victory.

Draper was visibly disappointed at the trophy presentation, but he was quick to show maturity by congratulating Rublev and admitting that he was simply not strong enough when it mattered.

“It’s been an amazing week,” said Draper. “I want to say congratulations to Andrey, he was too good today and he outlasted me. In the third set he was a bit too strong. Congratulations to you.

“I hope you have a great rest of the season, you deserve it. All the best. Also just congratulations to his team, I know the hard work that gets put in at any ATP 500 event, it’s so difficult.”

Draper is set to reach a career-high ATP ranking of 12th despite losing to Rublev, having missed the opportunity to climb an additional place to 11th by winning the final.

“So much hard work gets put into this sport when you are playing,” he added. “Thank you to everyone who has been here this week, and also back home. There are too many people to name.

“It’s a lot of hard yards, day in and day out. It’s a lot of effort and it’s testament to my hard work, I suppose.”

Rublev, meanwhile, returned the favour with some kind words for Draper and his team before collecting the winner’s trophy.

“There were a lot of great battles and it feels great I was able to get through and somehow to win them,” he said. “Also I want to say bad luck and an amazing week for Jack and his team.

“I really like Jack as a person and I really like his game and I think he has a really, really great career in the future. He will win many great things. Just keep working man and you deserve everything.

“I’m really happy I’m able still to beat him today one more time, because I don’t know how many chances I still have left! I’ve been through some things that weren’t easy but I’m happy that somehow I was able to manage it and to perform really well this week.”

One Swiftie noticed the like and shared a screenshot, commenting on Kylie’s quiet yet strong stance on the matter.

Despite being a proud Eagles fan herself, Kylie Kelce’s gesture was seen as a show of solidarity with the singer. While Kylie did not directly comment on the post, the simple act of liking the message suggested that she agreed with Andrews’ defense of Swift.

Interestingly, Kylie was seated in the same suite as Taylor Swift during the game, though her loyalties were divided. While Kylie supported the Eagles, her husband, Jason Kelce, was playing for the Chiefs. The split allegiances made for a tense but exciting atmosphere during the high-stakes Super Bowl.

Torrey Craig and the Celtics Turn South Boston Into a Hoops Haven—Heartwarming Scenes You Can’t Miss!

 The Boston Celtics, in partnership with Dunkin’, made a meaningful impact in South Boston on Friday by unveiling a newly renovated basketball facility at the Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Club. The event was a celebration of community and the power of sports, featuring Celtics newcomer Torrey Craig and team mascot Lucky the Leprechaun. Together, they helped introduce the club’s young members to their upgraded gym while also sharing in a day of fun and basketball.

Fifty local youth gathered to see the updated gymnasium, participate in a basketball clinic with Craig, and enjoy a surprise round of giveaways, including mini basketballs, customized t-shirts, hats, and, of course, some Dunkin’ treats. For Craig, it didn’t matter that the Celtics had just returned from a road win in Philadelphia the night before; he was determined to be there for the kids.

“I think we landed around 12 (p.m.) and then I tried to make my way here as fast as I could,” Craig said. “I was told about this event and the kids and youth center, so I just wanted to come here and just interact with the kids and have a good time.”

The event was about more than just basketball. It was about continuing to strengthen the bond between the Celtics and the Boston community.

“I always told myself that if I ever became a public figure, I would try to give back as much as I could,” Craig shared. “When I was a kid, I used to dream about an NBA player coming to renovate a court or interact with us. So now that I’m in that position, that’s exactly what I’m doing.”

Craig, who arrived Feb. 8 in Boston ready to contribute on and off the floor, wasted no time immersing himself in the city’s culture.

“I love Boston,” he said. “It’s a great community, a real sports town. The fans show so much emotion, support, and love. You can tell this community is tight-knit, and now that I’m here, I feel it and see it every day.”

That immersion, however, came with a learning curve, especially when it came to Boston’s weather.

“I know one thing, I walked on this ice about five, six times and slipped every time,” Craig joked. “When I first got here, I thought the snow was kind of soft, but it was a little harder than I thought.”

The Edgerley Family South Boston Boys & Girls Club, a cornerstone of the neighborhood since 1938, provides a safe space for over 550 young people annually. With a focus on teamwork, leadership, and personal growth, the club’s gymnasium plays a crucial role in fostering these values. The renovations feature repaired hoops, new bleachers, backboards, and fresh wall padding.

This marks the second consecutive year Dunkin’ has partnered with the Celtics to improve community facilities.

“We are honored to team up with the Celtics once again to fuel the heart of the city: our local community,” said Dunkin’ franchisee Victor Carvalho. “Supporting young fans through these renovations is an opportunity to inspire, connect, and learn from future generations of athletes and leaders.”

The opportunity to mentor and support young players is deeply personal, something Craig mentioned multiple times.

“Having another outlet to play basketball, have fun, and be with your friends is super important,” he said. “It builds character and leadership skills. Just being around one another, getting along, and learning from the game, that’s what it’s all about.”

His leadership extends beyond community events, as he looks to support his teammates in any way he can.

“When I was a rookie, I looked to the older guys to guide me,” Craig said. “Now, after being on a lot of good teams and even making the Finals (in 2021 with the Phoenix Suns), I try to pass on what I’ve learned. Anything that can give them an edge or help them be a little better, I want to share that.”

With Craig bringing his hard-nosed play style and commitment to community engagement, he’s going to fit in just fine. Whether he’s hitting the court at TD Garden, adjusting to Boston’s icy sidewalks (watch out for those, Torrey), or giving back to the next generation of hoopers, Craig is already making his mark in Boston.

The 43-year-old said he is canceling another show on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour due to an injury.

“I’m so sorry Oklahoma City…I have to cancel the show on 12/2,” Timberlake wrote on his Instagram Stories Nov. 30. “I hurt my back in NOLA and my doctors have instructed me to rest a little bit longer.”

The “Cry Me a River” singer, who is on a weeklong hiatus from his tour after last performing Nov. 25 in New Orleans, added, “Thank you for your support—ya’ll know I hate doing this.”

Timberlake began his tour in April and has so far canceled one other concert—that was originally scheduled to take place in Columbia, S.C. in June—and postponed several dates.

One of them, a Newark, New Jersey show, was pushed back a week in October due to what he described as “an injury that is preventing me from performing,” while a few more from the fall were later moved to February after Timberlake contracted bronchitis and laryngitis.

Timberlake’s tour did not, however, appear to be affected by his highly publicized arrest this past June. The singer was detained on suspicion of driving while intoxicated on Long Island, New York while he was on a previous weeklong break from performing and returned to the stage, in Chicago, days after he was released from policy custody.

“We’ve been together through ups and downs and lefts and rights, and it’s been a tough week,” Timberlake told the crowd at United Center June 21, “but you’re here, and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now.”

The Grammy winner continued, “I know sometimes I’m hard to love, but you keep on loving me and I love you right back. Thank you so much.”

The “Suit & Tie” singer later pleaded guilty to a non-criminal traffic violation after reaching a plea deal and agreed to pay a minimal fine and complete 25 to 40 hours of community service.

During his tour, which is set to continue through July 2025, Timberlake’s family, wife Jessica Biel and their sons Silas, 9, and Phineas, 4, have cheered him on at several shows.

“It’s also a very special evening for me,” the “Can’t Stop This Feeling” singer told the crowd at the Bell Centre in Montreal as the 7th Heaven alum watched him from near the stage. “My wife is here tonight. And tonight is our 12-year anniversary.”

After blowing her a kiss, Timberlake continued, “So be nice to her, Montreal, because she’s sharing me with all of you guys tonight.”

He later put his hand on his heart and told his wife, “I love you, baby.”

A mid-show moment involving the Grammy winner in a harness has gone viral on TikTok with a fan-captured video garnering 5.5 million views

Fans were looking right at the other half of Justin Timberlake after a stage malfunction during one of his concerts drew too much attention below the belt.

The Grammy-winning singer, who’s currently on his best-selling Forget Tomorrow World Tour, went about business as usual while performing at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Dec. 12. However, a wardrobe malfunction involving a tight-fitted harness has been going viral.

A TikTok video filmed by a concert goer showed Timberlake, 43, trying to situate himself in the harness and fans we all abuzz about how it seemed to accidentally highlight his groin.

In the clip, Timberlake can be seen pulling at the bottom of his shirt in order to cover the area.

The harness is used for his performance of “Mirrors,” during which he sings over the crowd on a suspended platform.

The comment section of the video, which has reached 5.5 million views as of writing, included a few quips comparing Timberlake’s mishap to a malfunction Chris Brown had during one his 11:11 Tour shows in Canada this past summer.

Comments referring to “Chris brown in a harness” didn’t specify the incident, however Daily Mail reported on an accident that highlighted Brown’s “manhood” while The Hollywood Reporter shared a video of the singer stuck in the air mid-concert.

Timberlake hasn’t yet commented on the malfunction or the video.

The Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which is anticipated to be one of the bestselling tours of the year, kicked off in April. Timberlake announced the news on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in January after releasing his single “Selfish.” He released his sixth studio album Everything I Thought I Was on March 15.

In October, Timberlake postponed tour dates from Oct. 23 to Nov. 2 following a diagnosis with bronchitis and laryngitis. He then canceled the Dec. 2 show in New Orleans due to an ongoing back injury.

Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum might be making MVP noise this season, but there’s another young baller also generating buzz. It would be none other than Tatum’s son, Jayson “Deuce” Christopher Tatum Jr. Fresh off their 104-92 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, Tatum took to Instagram to share a photo of Deuce sitting with a basketball trophy from the “Pee Wee Division” in the classic Kobe Bryant pose.

One of the fans left a wild comment, “Whole family thinks they Kobe,” while another wrote, “C’mon, SLAM cover! An icon and a legend!” Looks like the internet was left in a frenzy as soon as the post went up!

Jayson Tatum’s life off the court took a big turn in December 2017. Fresh off being drafted third overall by the NBA, Tatum and his high school girlfriend, Toriah Lachell, welcomed their son, Jayson “Deuce” Christopher Tatum Jr. Deuce quickly became a mini-star in his own right, capturing the hearts of Boston Celtics fans and practically becoming an honorary member of the team.

2017 was a whirlwind year for Tatum. He not only got drafted into the NBA but also became a proud dad. The team has frequently featured Deuce on social media, with some memorable moments including a pre-game hype video supporting ex-Coach Ime Udoka in May 2022 and Deuce proudly presenting his dad with the All-Star ring.

Young Deuce is no stranger to the spotlight. Fans have seen him jump into his dad’s lap during post-game interviews.  In an adorable moment back in the 2022 Eastern Conference Semifinals, Deuce whispered something to his old man. When asked what he wanted to say, Deuce grabbed the mic and declared, “I will go swimming!“, a response that melted the hearts of whoever watched.

It appears Deuce is already following in his dad’s footsteps by enrolling in a program that emphasizes both basketball and academics. The “No Book No Ball” program, founded in 1991 by Anthony (Tony) Richards Sr., aims to equip youngsters aged 6 to 17 with the fundamentals of basketball in Boston’s underserved neighborhoods.  The program caters to boys and girls in three divisions: Pee Wee (6-9 years old), Junior (10-13 years old), and Youth (14-17 years old). Deuce seems to honing his skills in the Pee Wee division!

Looks like young Deuce might be an MVP in the making, while his dad, the Celtics’ superstar, maybe bagging the MVP ring this season with the way the no.1 team in the league is dominating!
