Ahead of the show, a message on Wembley Stadium’s website warned non-ticketed fans to steer clear of the surrounding areas.

“Anyone without a ticket should not travel to Wembley Stadium. No one is allowed to stand outside any entrance or on the Olympic Steps at the front of the stadium,” the site reads.

Last week, Barracuda Music, the concert organizers in Austria, posted to social media on Aug. 7 announcing the Vienna show cancellations.

“We have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone’s safety,” a message from Barracuda Music said. “All tickets will be automatically refunded.”

The suspects allegedly radicalized themselves online, Franz Ruf, director-general for public safety in the Ministry of the Interior, said at a press conference.

Thursday’s Wembley show marked the beginning of a five-show stretch at the venue to close out the European leg of the “Eras Tour.” The tour will return to North America in November ahead of its December close in Vancouver.

Novak Djokovic, the World No. 2 and the recently crowned Olympic gold medalist, is not playing at the ongoing Cincinnati Open. He had also pulled out of the Canadian Open, which concluded last week.

Djokovic will play at the US Open next

With two consecutive withdrawals, the 37-year-old Serb will next play at the US Open 2024, which gets underway on Monday, August 26. He has won the title in New York four times and will look to win his 25th Grand Slam title there.

Djokovic has been giving his body some much-needed rest:

Djokovic is still going strong in the tennis circuit, but it does not mean that he is getting any younger. He has played in all three Grand Slams this year, aside from the Olympics and three Masters 1000 tournaments in Monte Carlo, Indian Wells and Rome.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion is still supremely fit, but, at this stage in his career, he should focus solely on increasing his Majors tally. He has already won 40 Masters 1000 titles, four more than the tally of Rafael Nadal, who is second on the list.

Hence, the only real motivation for the Serb, at the moment, should be to win Grand Slams; meaning he should take part in Masters 1000 tournaments only sporadically.

Djokovic will lose some ranking points as a result:

The Serb won the Cincinnati Open title last year, beating Carlos Alcaraz in a gripping final amid scorching heat. His decision to skip the tournament this time around means that he stands to lose 1000 ranking points.

It will cause his world ranking to drop to No. 3, with both Jannik Sinner and Alcaraz positioned above him. However, with possibly a few years left in him at the top level in tennis, Djokovic should not worry much about his ranking at the moment.

Instead, he should emphasize more on recharging his batteries for the upcoming US Open. Winning his fifth title in New York will take him five ahead of Roger Federer’s Grand Slam tally and three in front of Nadal’s, his nearest rival among men in that regard.

As mentioned earlier, at this stage of his career, increasing the deficit with his two nearest rivals in terms of the Grand Slam count should mean much more to Djokovic than anything else. Hence, his decision to skip the Canadian Open and Cincinnati Open makes a lot of sense and appears logical.

But a source has now told The Sun how she will be putting on the ‘best show of her life’ for the next five nights in London.

An insider told the publication: ‘Everything Taylor does is for her fans and she will be putting on the best show of her life when she returns to Wembley.

‘Hate never wins and Taylor absolutely stands for that. Her shows are about love, unity and acceptance, and this is a message she will always want to convey.’

Taylor will also reportedly be joined on stage at Wembley by pal Ed Sheeran on Thursday.

Taylor was due to perform in front of an estimated 170,000 fans on August 8, 9, and 10 at Vienna’s Ernst-Happel-Stadion, which was set to be reinforced with more security measures before the three shows were cancelled.

‘Taylor has been devastated by this. She is devastated for the fans who have been waiting for years to see her,’ an insider told The Mirror, in the first indication of Swift’s reaction following the news.

‘But the thought of what could have happened if the concerts had been targeted by a terror attack is horrifying, and she would never risk the safety of her fans.

‘The memory of what happened at Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester is still very vivid in everyone’s minds. But she has told her team that she wants to try to return to Vienna as soon as possible in the future. She is very conscious of how disappointed her fans in Austria are.’

The arrest of a third suspect was announced last week.

The teen, like the two others arrested earlier, was reportedly radicalised by the Afghanistan-based ISIS-K.

Police say the main suspect, a 19-year-old man, planned to attack the tens of thousands of Swifties who gathered outside the Ernst Happel Stadium, with knives and machetes.

The suspect, allegedly put together explosives as well in order to ‘kill as many people as possible,’ officials said.

‘The group is considered the greatest external terrorist threat to the continent,’ claimed UN undersecretary for counterterrorism Vladimir Vorokov, who said the group had increased its recruitment efforts on the continent, according to ABC News.

The hitmaker previously posted an emotional message after a knife attack at a dance class themed around her songs which left three children dead and six others critical.

A 17-year-old boy remains in custody accused of murder and attempted murder and is being questioned following the incident in Southport, Merseyside.

Timberlake sparked controversy when he was seen holding hands with Alisha Wainwright, his costar in the upcoming film Palmer. During an outing with a group of friends, Wainwright, 30, rested her hand on his knee and the two appeared to hold hands, in footage posted by The Sun.

According to a rep for Wainwright, “There is no validity to this speculation. They are currently working on a project together. Members of the cast and crew were all together.”

A source told PEOPLE the interaction was “completely innocent.”

Shortly after the hand-holding made headlines, Timberlake, 38, offered an explanation on Instagram, apologizing to Biel, 37, directly.

“A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgment — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better,” he wrote.

“This is not the example I want to set for my son,” Timberlake added. “I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be.”

Biel and Timberlake celebrated a decade of marriage in October 2022, both sharing sweet posts on Instagram to commemorate the milestone. The singer shared a number of memories from throughout their relationship, including a video of the couple recreating the iconic spaghetti scene from Lady and the Tramp.

“10 years ain’t enough!” he captioned the post. “You make me a better husband and father every day! I love you so much you beautiful human! Run it back!”

Her gown served as a sweet nod to her 2012 wedding to Timberlake, as Valli also served as the designer for Biel’s wedding dress.

June 18, 2024: Justin Timberlake is arrested for driving while intoxicated

During a visit to the Hamptons, Timberlake was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Biel was filming her Prime Video series The Better Sister in New York City at the time, and a source told PEOPLE that the actress was “not happy” about the arrest but “will always be by [Timberlake’s] side.”

While off the air, ABC has been playing reruns of the hit daytime TV talk show during their normal morning timeslot. While we miss Whoopi Goldberg‘s zingers and Ana Navarros‘s sass around the Hot Topics table, reruns are still giving viewers the opportunity to catch up on all things Season 27 before Season 28 hits the ground running this fall.

Season 28 will air live from a brand new studio in downtown Manhattan, as announced by Sunny Hostin during the finale of Season 27. An all new studio will mean all new content from the ladies, and we for one, cannot wait.

Why Isn’t The View On Today?

The View is on their annual summer hiatus, expected to last four weeks. This is the second week of the show’s break. ABC is still playing reruns in place of the live show at its normal time slot, so don’t be surprised if you still see the ladies on air over the next few weeks! We have the full rerun schedule for the week below, so read on.

When Will The View Be Back With New Episodes?

According to a schedule sent out from ABC, reruns are expected to last through Sept. 2, meaning that the ladies will be back on air live for Season 28 on Sept. 3. Keeping with trends from past years, this makes sense, as the show always return shortly after the Labor Day holiday.
