Taylor Swift has hit back at Donald Trump‘s apparent acceptance of her ‘support’ in his race for the White House, with insiders claiming she believes the Republican has ‘lost it.’
The Presidential candidate, 78, shared AI-generated posts on his social media platform Truth Social on Sunday night suggesting he has gained the support of the Grammy-winner, 34, and her fans, known as ‘Swifties.’
Trump wrote ‘I accept’ alongside deepfake images showing women wearing shirts emblazoned with ‘Swifties For Trump,’ as well as a poster of the singer dressed like Uncle Sam and urging her fans to vote for the GOP nominee.
Although she has yet to publicly endorse a candidate ahead of this year’s election, a source close to Swift confirmed, unsurprisingly, that she will not be supporting Trump.
‘If she didn’t support him last time, she’s not going to support him now,’ they told DailyMail.com exclusively. ‘He’s clearly lost it. In more ways than one.’
Trump, 78, shared AI-generated posts on his Truth Social platform on Sunday night suggesting he has gained the support of Swift, 34, and her fans, known as ‘Swifties’
It is unclear if Trump’s comment is referring to the AI-generated crowd of ‘Swifties’ or the fake endorsement from Swift.
Two of the photos in Trump’s post are reportedly legitimate, Wisconsin Right Now reported.
Should Taylor Swift sue Donald Trump for the fake images?
Jenna Piwowarczyk, a 19-year-old Trump supporter who is also a fan of the singer, did allegedly wear a ‘Swifties for Trump’ t-shirt during a campaign rally in Wisconsin.
However, there does not actually appear to be a huge ‘Swifties for Trump’ following, as depicted in the AI-generated photos, which were clearly labelled ‘satire.’
Trump later doubled down on the claim that he was gaining the support of Swifties, sharing a video of an apparent MAGA fan saying the ‘Swifties were waking up’ after a failed terror plot resulted in the cancellation of the Austrian leg of the Eras Tour. It is unclear if the video is authentic.
Swift has previously criticized the GOP nominee and vowed to ‘vote [him] out’ ahead of the 2020 election after being left ‘completely blindsided’ by his 2016 victory.
Ahead of his defeat of Hillary Clinton, Swift kept quiet on her political leanings leading some to suspect she was actually a secret Republican.
But during the 2018 midterms, she voiced strong support for Tennessee Democrats including Senate candidate Phil Bredesen and House candidate Jim Cooper.

She explained in an Instagram post: ‘In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now.
‘I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country.’
In 2020, the Blank Space singer came out in full support of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
‘I will proudly vote for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in this year’s presidential election,’ she said. ‘Under their leadership, I believe America has a chance to start the healing process it so desperately needs,’ she said in an interview with V Magazine ahead of the election.’
She also tagged Trump in an X post blasting him: ‘After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November.’
In her documentary, Miss Americana, which came out in 2020, Swift addressed her decision to speak publicly about politics further saying: ‘I need to be on the right side of history.’
Swift has been a close ally of the LGBTQ community. She also slammed the United States Supreme Court after it overturned Roe v Wade ending the constitutional right to an abortion in 2022.
The Anti-Hero hitmaker is suspected to be among the Hollywood A-listers who could appear at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago this week, CNN reported, with rumors she could also perform.

The Swifties have mobilized to throw their support behind Vice President Kamala Harris with the ‘@Swifties4Kamala’ X account already attracting 60,000 followers.
The Democratic National Committee has also already seemingly paid homage to Swift by announcing there will be stations where DNC attendees can make friendship bracelets – which are traded by Swifties at concerts and fan meet-ups.
The New York Times reported earlier this year that Joe Biden’s campaign had been actively seeking Swift’s endorsement.
Trump has previously questioned whether Swift is ‘legitimately liberal’ or if it’s all an act.
The former president discussed the megastar in an interview with Variety co-Editor-in-Chief Ramin Setoodeh for his book Apprentice in Wonderland: How Donald Trump and Mark Burnett Took America Through the Looking Glass which was released in June.
‘She is liberal, or is that just an act?’ Trump asked. ‘She’s legitimately liberal? It’s not an act?’
He added: ‘It surprises me that a country star can be successful being liberal.’
Paula Badosa hit back after being caught on camera at the Cincinnati Open.

Paula Badosa hit back at a fan who questioned her for failing to keep her relationship private.
The Spaniard has been dating Stefanos Tsitsipas since last May, barring a brief split earlier this year.
After they were caught on camera holding hands during a cool-down in the Cincinnati Open gym, Badosa slammed one viewer for failing to inform themselves and urged them to “chill”.
‘Tsitsidosa’ are among several power couples in the tennis world, joining the likes of Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils, and Katie Boulter and Alex De Minaur. They first confirmed their relationship via Spotify last year.
They briefly broke up this spring and, when they reconciled, Badosa admitted that their relationship had previously been too public and said they would keep things more private. But, after cameras filmed the couple stretching together in the gym, one fan tried to call her out.
The video, shared by the ATP’s Tennis TV account and retweeted by Tsitsipas, showed the ATP No. 11 and the recent Washington champion lying on separate mats with their legs in the air as they reached out to hold hands.
One follower commented: “When they got back together they said, ‘I mean, it’s our private life. I think one of the things that we didn’t like is that it was very public, so now we want to keep it to ourselves.’ So why don’t they.”
And Badosa quickly clapped back. “Unfortunately we didn’t know there were cameras there. I just finished my match, nobody was in the gym, we were just stretching and chatting after my win. So please, before all this judgement and talking inform yourselfs and chill a bit. Thanks,” she replied.
The Spaniard is letting her tennis do the talking in Cincinnati this week. She is through to the semi-final to face No. 6 seed Jessica Pegula. It’s her first semi-final at WTA 1000 level since Indian Wells 2022.

Badosa has also ensured that she will be seeded at the US Open after thanks to her run so far. The 26-year-old was ranked outside of the top 100 less than two months ago after struggling with a back injury but is set to return to the top 30.
However, Tsitsipas didn’t fare as well in Cincinnati. Britain’s Jack Draper ousted the ninth seed in the second round.

Jannik Sinner defeated Alexander Zverev to reach the Cincinnati Masters final.

Former Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios suspects there may have been ‘something deeper’ behind Jannik Sinner’s uncharacteristic celebration after beating Alexander Zverev in the Cincinnati Masters semi-finals.
Top seed Sinner – usually understated in his reactions – let out a huge roar after edging out the German 7-6 5-7 7-6 to set up a high-stakes meeting with Frances Tiafoe tonight (Monday).
And Kyrgios was quick to pick up on it, responding to a clip of Sinner’s converted match point by writing on X: “Something a lil deeper in that celebration (eyes emoji).”
Sinner hinted after his victory why he found it so satisfying. The 23-year-old has had to grind his way through the various stages in Cincinnati while nursing a hip injury, and he was seen grabbing the area several times during the battle with Zverev.
“It means a lot to me,” the Italian explained. “It’s a very different moment, what I’m going through, so I’m very happy about this result.
“The physical aspect, of course, I have to improve, because if I want to win Grand Slams or a bigger title, I have to be, for sure, more in shape. But I just tried to stay there mentally, which I’m very proud [of], and let’s see what’s coming [Monday].

“Sometimes you have to play a bit with the gut feeling. And I think this today was my strength. It was a good match, I think for both of us. He served very, very well so I can be very proud.”
Sinner may also have taken extra satisfaction from Sunday night’s win due to the fact he had lost his last four meetings with Zverev. The German sent him crashing out of the US Open both last year and in 2021, before Sinner opened his Grand Slam account in Australia back in January.
Tiafoe has earned the right to play Sinner courtesy of an impressive run in which three seeded players – Holger Rune, Hubert Hurkacz and Lorenzo Musetti – have been cast aside. The American is now gearing up for his first ATP Masters 1000 final.
“For sure (Sinner) is (the favourite), right?” said Tiafoe. “He’s lost like [five] matches all year? He’s the favourite in every match he plays, no question about it. You’ve got to tip your hat to a guy like him.”
There’s history between Cincinnati Open finalists Jannik Sinner and Frances Tiafoe, who haven’t always seen eye-to-eye.

Jannik Sinner will be hoping for more respect from Frances Tiafoe in the Cincinnati Open final than their clash from three years ago. The Italian was left frustrated with the American after he lost to him at the 2021 Vienna Open.
Sinner looked to be cruising to a straight-sets victory, going 3-0 up in the second before serving for the match at 5-3. In a last-ditch attempt to get back into the semi-final, Tiafoe began taking his time to get in position, high-fiving members of the crowd when he won a point and even talking during his opponent’s serve.
His dark arts tactics did the job, going on to win 3-6, 7-5, 6-2. Sinner called him out for his antics post-match, arguing: “In my opinion, today Tiafoe went too far, has done too much. It is one thing when the player tries to put on a show to put on a bit of a show, but it is quite another when you start to disrespect.”
He did also give props to Tiafoe, who showed no remorse for doing what he could to get under his skin. “I don’t really feel bad for that,” he responded. “Look I mean the crowd is there for a reason. I’m able to interact with them, I’m able to do whatever.
“I don’t feel bad for that. I think he definitely had a chance to win the match regardless. I used them to get on my side and I started playing great tennis, but ultimately I was just having fun out there and it went my way.”
Tiafoe went on to clarify that the pair are pals away from the court, and tipped the reigning Australian Open champion for the greatness he’s gone on to achieve. “I mean when I played Jannik in the Next Gen Finals and Antwerp back in 2019 I looked to my guys and I was like this guy is going to be a Grand Slam champion,” he continued.
Sinner holds a 3-1 winning record over Tiafoe (Image: Getty)
“He’s going to be on top of the game for a long time. We get along really well. I have nothing but respect for that guy, how he goes about his process each and every day. Well-coached with [Riccardo] Piatti, super humble guy for how young he is and everything he’s accomplished so far.
“Tonight the result was the result but he’s got a great team behind him, he has a great work ethic, he does everything right, he’s gonna win Grand Slams for sure. How many I don’t know, but he’s going to have a hell of a career and probably be a Hall of Famer at the end of it.”
The pair met again in Vienna last year with world No. 1 Sinner winning 6-3, 6-4 and taking his winning record over Tiafoe to 3-1. He again complimented the 27th seed post-match, showing it’s very much water under the bridge between them.

He told reporters: “For sure it was a tough match. I tried to serve well, especially in the important moments. He’s a very good player and I had to stay on my level—he had a couple of break points first set and a couple of break points second set, but I tried to serve in the right spots in the right moments, and I felt quite good today on court.”
Tiafoe admitted he’s got his work cut out for him in today’s final, which he reached after beating Holger Rune 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7-4). He was asked on court if Sinner, who beat Alexander Zverev 7-6 (11-9), 5-7, 7-6 (7-4) in his semi-final, was the favourite.
Tiafoe replied: “Absolutely, for sure he is, right? He’s lost like [five] matches all year? He’s the favourite in every match he plays, no question about it. You’ve got to tip your hat to a guy like him.”

Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner took sweet revenge against American opponent Francis Tiafoe at the Cincinnati Masters on Monday, gliding to a straight-sets triumph as he continues his reign as world No. 1 in Ohio.
Although their rivalry had previously spilled into the public eye following a clash a few years back, Tiafoe graciously offered congratulations to Sinner post-match, hinting at a buried hatchet between the two athletes. “I guess I got to congratulate Jannik man. Congrats for everything you’ve been doing…” expressed a respectful Tiafoe after his recent defeat, adding, “Getting to No. 1 in the world. And pretty much never losing ever. Keep going.. all the best in New York. If we play, don’t beat me in New York.”
Their last notable encounter was at the Vienna Open semifinals in 2021, where Sinner seemed all set for a smooth victory at one stage. As Sinner was poised to serve at 6-3, 5-3, Tiafoe’s sudden outburst rattled him, leading to an astonishing comeback win for the American.

Post-match, Sinner had harsh words about Tiafoe’s actions, categorically labelling them as “disrespect”.
“In my opinion, today Tiafoe went too far, has done too much,” Sinner declared. “It is one thing when the player tries to put on a show to put on a bit of a show, but it is quite another when you start to disrespect.”
The Italian ace has ascended to world No. 1, a prestigious position he secured going into Cincinnati, reinforced by two impressive semi-final performances at Grand Slam tournaments this year.
Despite an eventual smooth victory in the final, Sinner’s journey to triumph was marked by intense matches, having to overcome both world No. 6 Andrey Rublev and No.4 Alexander Zverev in gripping three-set encounters during the quarterfinals and semifinals respectively.
“It was a very difficult week, tough week. I’m very happy about today’s match,” shared Sinner during his post-match discussion. “It was very tough mentally.
“I had such an amazing run here, and I tried to do my best today. We both were quite tired from yesterday. We both felt a lot of tension, but I’m very glad about [the] level I played today, especially in the important moments.”
Tiafoe, on the other hand, came to the Queen City without a rank, following a dip from his peak at No. 10 just the previous yeara reflection of his below-par run of late.
However, in his first quarterfinals since last year’s Indian Wells Open, Tiafoe notched a commendable win over No. 5 Hubert Hurkacz and No.15 Holger Rune before being narrowly outplayed by Sinner.
“It’s been a tough year man, it’s been a tough year,” expressed Tiafoe. “Yeah, pretty much since the end of my US Open (2023) run, what I haven’t won 4 matches in a row since then so… yeah, it’s been tough but I’m in a different place right now in my life. Happy to have everything that comes my way good, bad, different, kinda gets rolled with the punches.”
The fallout from Jack Draper’s third round win at the Cincinnati Open has taken another twist.
Roger Federer’s gesture in 2018 might have shown up Jack Draper. (Image: Tennis TV/Getty)
A video of the great Roger Federer choosing to replay a point he’d won unfairly is probably not what Jack Draper needs right now, but that’s exactly what has resurfaced on social media. The British No.1 is under fire after his controversial match point against Felix Auger-Aliassime at the Cincinnati Open, with footage indicating he shanked the ball into the ground before it bounced up and crept over the net.
It sparked a row at the net between the two players and officials that lasted more than four minutes, with the Canadian eventually accepting defeat after the umpire refused to reverse his decision to award Draper the point.
The controversy didn’t end there though, with Novak Djokovic one of a host of high-profile stars to slam the decision making process.
“It’s embarrassing that we don’t have a video replay of these kind of situations on the court,” he posted on X. “What’s even more ridiculous is that we don’t have the rule in place that would allow chair umpires to change the original call based on the video review that happens off the court!
“Everyone who watches TV sees what happened on the replay, yet the players on the court are kept in the dark not knowing what’s the outcome. We have Hawkeye for line calls, we live in the technologically advanced 21st century!”
Nick Kyrgios also weighed in on the ‘horrible call’ from the umpire, and accused of Draper of feigning ignorance. Throughout the on-court arguments, the 22-year-old maintained he was unsure if he’d hit the ball cleanly or not.
Felix Auger-Aliassime and Jack Draper argued at the net for more than four minutes. (Image: Getty)
That behaviour was in stark contrast to the action Federer took in his match with Robin Haas at the ABN Amro Open in Rotterdam in 2018. The Swiss icon was 1-0 up in the deciding set, and serving at 40-15 when he appeared to send down an ace to consolidate his break.
But immediately, he returned to his mark and prepared a second serve, despite no call from the umpire or line judge. It left a confused Haas asking what was going on, with Federer confirming the ball was ‘definitely out’ and prompting the umpire to issue a fault.
Footage of the incident was posted online by tennis fan @elishasuriila, who wrote: “The match point between Jack Draper and Felix Auger-Aliassime was a disaster, but the players can change the point on their own. Roger Federer called his own serve when the umpire didn’t:”
Draper was beaten in his quarter-final by Holger Rune, but only after doubling down on his role in the drama. However, the Federer footage is unlikely to prove helpful to his claims he was powerless once the call had been made.
“I was shocked at the pass and too busy looking at him (Auger-Aliassime),” he said. “I looked at the umpire to see if he called a double bounce, but he didn’t say it. I couldn’t make that call myself.”

Matthew Tkachuk, Jayson Tatum Recreate Viral Photo Before Throwing Out First Pitch At Cardinals Game
Lots of championship hardware was at Busch Stadium on Sunday, but it wasn’t because of the St. Louis Cardinals.
“The Lou’s” MLB franchise hasn’t won a World Series since 2011 (sorry to rub it in, Cardinals fans). But two of the city’s natives more than made up for its lack of baseball titles, and brought their trophies to the ballpark today.

Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk and Boston Celtics guard Jayson Tatum both grew up in St. Louis, and each one of them won the title in their respective sports less than two months ago (Tkachuk in the NHL, Tatum in the NBA). To celebrate with their home city, Tatum brought the Larry O’Brien trophy, while Tkachuk brought a heavyweight belt with the Stanley Cup logo on the front.
(Bringing the actual Stanley Cup somewhere that isn’t on your day with the cup is nearly impossible).
But before the championship festivities got underway, they had a far more important matter to attend to.
As the Celtics and Panthers made their way through their respective postseasons earlier this summer, a viral picture of the two from middle school circulated on the internet. So while they were in literally the same spot, they posed again for the same picture.
To make Part 2 even better, they got their friend Jacob Bai to join in to complete the photo op.
They rode out on the back of a truck to the delight of the crowd, and even threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the same time (Tatum’s was better).
I’d say that was a pretty successful day for all involved. The only problem was that the Cardinals lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers 2-1.
Taylor Swift is heavily booed by Bills fans prior to Travis Kelce’s Chiefs playoff game
Taylor Swift was met with boos as she made her way to boyfriend Travis Kelce’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
On Sunday (January 21), the 34-year-old ‘Karma’ songstress arrived at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo for the Kansas City Chiefs’ divisional round playoff match against the Bills.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Swift was spotted rocking her signature red lip and a red beanie amid the cold weather, but instead of cheers, the singer was greeted by disgruntled football fans.
Despite the icy welcome, she appeared to be in great spirits as she walked in with model Cara Delevingne and Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Watch the moment below:
The boos were not only heard outside the stadium as football fans across the country showed their disdain when the NFL panned to the Grammy-winning star.
One person revealed that they were at the Nashville Bills-Backers-Bar for this game, and said: “The vitriolic shower of boos when Taylor Swift was shown on the screen for the first time… truly filled my heart.”
Another chimed in: “The whole bar boo’d once they showed Taylor Swift lmaooo,” while a third shared: “This game might be the only time a bar in Hell’s Kitchen has had everyone boo at taylor swift.”

Credit: Al Bello / GettyNevertheless, the match proved to be a memorable one for the Kansas City tight-end, as he and quarterback Patrick Mahomes now have the most post-season touchdowns by a pair in NFL history.
Kelce caught two touchdown passes from the 28-year-old, bringing their total of career playoff touchdowns together to 16, surpassing New England Patriots duo Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski’s tally of 15.
To celebrate the achievement, the athlete formed a heart with his hands toward his popstar beau, who was in the VIP box with his brother Jason Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce.
This heartwarming gesture left many Swifties gushing as one penned: “The FEARLESS HEART and a kiss for Taylor I am actually a pool of tears. I love them together so much,” while another added: “Travis Kelce giving Taylor Swift the fearless hand heart to celebrate his touchdown is the best thing that’s happened to society in years.”
While the ‘Love Story’ songstress didn’t invent the sign, she is known for making the loving symbol during her performances, especially during her Fearless (2009) era.
“The heart-hand symbol means something between ‘I love you’ and ‘thank you,’” Swift told The New York Times back in 2011. “It’s just a sweet, simple message that you can deliver without saying a word.”
“At the end of my sophomore year, I left school and went out on a radio tour to play free show after free show. I was an unknown act playing shows night after night, and I was constantly trying out all kinds of different moves to try and get a response from the audience,” she added.
