James Woods Slams Whoopi Goldberg as One of TV’s Worst Personalities

In a recent outburst, actor James Woods has taken a jab at Whoopi Goldberg, branding her as one of the worst personalities on television. Woods, known for his outspoken views, didn’t hold back in his criticism, sparking a new wave of discussion on social media.

The actor’s comments came after a publicized exchange or comment from Goldberg that seemed to trigger Woods. He shared his thoughts on social media, where his statements quickly caught the attention of both fans and critics. Woods’ critique highlights the ongoing tension and polarizing opinions about various TV personalities.

Whoopi Goldberg, a prominent figure in entertainment, has not yet publicly responded to Woods’ remarks. This latest clash adds to the broader conversation about public figures and the often contentious opinions they provoke.

As reactions continue to pour in, it remains to be seen how this feud will develop and whether it will influence the public’s perception of either individual.

Taylor Swift says she was devastated to have to cancel her Vienna shows earlier this month after Austrian officials said a terror plot targeting her concerts was foiled.

Swift said in an Instagram post that the “cancellations filled me with a new sense of fear, and a tremendous amount of guilt because so many people had planned on coming to those shows.”
The singer posted on Instagram about the situation Wednesday, after nearly two weeks, waiting until her final show in Europe had concluded.

“In cases like this one, ‘silence’ is actually showing restraint, and waiting to express yourself at a time when it’s right to,” she wrote.

My priority was finishing our European tour safely, and it is with great relief that I can say we did that.”

Jon Bon Jovi Reveals the Secret to His 35-Year Marriage to His Wife Dorothea

“Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links.”

Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea Hurley have quite a storied romance.

The two were high school sweethearts, eloped to Las Vegas and had four children together. Their secret to success? “Somehow it works. I think because we grow at the same rate. We grew equally and not in opposite directions,” Dorothea told PEOPLE in 2016.

The “You Give Love A Bad Name” singer added: “She’s the glue… I’m the crazy visionary with all kinds of things flying, and the seams are all splitting. She’s the one following me with the glue and the thread and needle, keeping it all together.”.

If you were wondering who Jon Bongiovi’s wife is, you’re halfway there. Read all about Jon and Dorothea’s decades-long relationship, ahead.

Jon and Dorothea met in 1980.

The two met as high school students at Sayreville War Memorial High School in New Jersey. “She let me cheat off her in history,” he said, per PEOPLE. “I was immediately drawn to her from the minute I saw her and that never changed.”

Years later on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show, Dorothea reminisced about the early days of their relationship, including her first impression of Jon. She said he was “100%” the cutest guy in high school. “I just remember being impressed that you could sing,” she told her husband. “He was very good.”

It seems she always had faith in his talents — the two even skipped their high school prom for one of Jon’s early gigs. His musical aspirations didn’t come without its naysayers, though. Dorothea recalled conversations with her family: “‘I said, ‘Well, my boyfriend’s going to be a rockstar,’ and they were like, ‘Good luck with that.’”

    The two briefly broke up.

Despite hitting it off early on, the high school sweethearts broke up in 1985. As Under the Tuscan Sun star Diane Lane later revealed on Watch What Happens Live, she and Jon briefly dated for five months — until he and Dorothea rekindled.

Fortunately, there’s no bad blood. “I was 20, and I think every girl should have such a wonderful experience that young,” the actress told host Andy Cohen.

Nine years after meeting, the couple eloped in Vegas.

During a secret Las Vegas ceremony in 1989, Jon and Dorothea tied the knot. It all happened at the height of the band’s career, too. “We had the No. 1 album, the No. 1 single, and we were playing three nights at the Forum in L.A.,” he told Men’s Health in 2010.

The “Wanted Dead Or Alive” singer continued: “I turned to Dorothea and said, ‘I got an idea. Why don’t we go right now?’ She said, ‘You’re out of your mind.’ I said, ‘Come on. What’s better than this, right now, this moment?’ And so we ran off to Las Vegas. Didn’t tell a soul.”

In fact, their decision to elope was so spontaneous that their taxi driver acted as their witness. The “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer also shared that, at the time, the surprise nuptials weren’t received well by family and friends.

“It shocked a lot of people — shocked about everybody: the band, management, agents, lawyers, parents, you name it,” he told PEOPLE. “It’s a shame because it should have been a beautiful moment, but after we did it, people were trying to take it away. And 35 years later, we’re still married.”

Fans were equally distraught by the marriage. “It was like Harry Styles or Justin Timberlake getting married,” he told The Mirror. “I was that to the young girls in my time. When I came back from Vegas, my manager was furious. He was like, ‘America’s boy is now married… that’s not a good career move.’ The record company was also despondent.”

Jon admitted that he had regrets.

Back in 1992, Jon released the single “Bed of Roses,” which is about the star regretting his escapades on the road. He shed more light on that time when sitting down with ABC’s Michael Strahan to promote his 2024 documentary “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story.”

Michael asked the “It’s My Life” singer about getting married young and the stress of being a “sex symbol.” Jon admitted: “I got away with murder.” He explained, “I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star. I’m not a saint. I’m not saying that there weren’t 100 girls in my life. I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good!”

Though he didn’t dive too deep, Jon clarified that he never did anything that would risk his relationship with Dorothea. “But if you think I was ever going to jeopardize … anything for believing the narcissist in me was real? What a stupid thing to do,” he said. “What kind of excess does a man need that’s going to fuel that fire? It’s just not worth it.”

His remarks echoed a quote he previously gave The Independent about his and Dorothea’s marriage. “These are all the wonderful clichés of rock stardom,” he told the outlet. “It’s about never lying about having been a saint, but not being a fool enough to f–k up the home life, either.”

    They have four kids together.

From there out, the two started a loving family together. Jon and Dorothea welcomed their first child, Stephanie Rose, on May 31, 1993. Notably, a 7-year-old Stephanie joined her dad on stage to perform the song he wrote for her, “I Got The Girl,” and again at one of his Las Vegas shows in 2017.

The couple had their son, Jesse James Louis, on February 19, 1995. Jesse would later launch the wine label Hampton Water with his dad in 2018.

Jon almost missed the birth of their third son, Jacob “Jake” Hurley, on May 7, 2002. A day before, fans figured out how to call his hotel phone, which made him turn it off. So when Dorothea called to tell him her water broke, she couldn’t reach him.

His tour manager woke him to break the news, and he took a private plane back to catch his son’s delivery in the nick of time. Jon’s son Jake is currently engaged to Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown.

Two years later, Romeo Jon, the couple’s fourth child, was born on March 29, 2004. Recnetly, Jon opened up about the power of fatherhood toPEOPLE. “You think you’re in love when you’re a kid, and you meet your wife and get married, but you know you’re in love after you have a child.”

Jon largely credited Dorothea for their success.

The Bon Jovi frontman has continuously lauded his wife for her support over the years. “I’m not a saint, and I have not been a saint,” he said during a Men’s Health interview. “I missed tons of birthdays and school plays… [Dorothea has] been in it the whole game. She understands what it means. It’s my life, and it is what it is.”

After more than four decades together, Jon said the key to making it work is “mutual respect.” He told PEOPLE: “Having grown up together and grown together. And we really like each other. We want to hang out.”

Their love story continues to touch fans. Upon one of the couple’s wedding anniversaries, he dedicated a sweet message to Dorothea on Instagram. The post included a black-and-white photo taken at their Las Vegas wedding and a short snippet of the two embracing.

He penned the caption: “If I got one thing right back in high school, it was falling in love with this girl. Happy 32nd anniversary, baby.”

The couple celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on April 29.

    (B) Kylie Jenner Criticized for Insensitive Posts, Donates $1M to Australian Relief Effort Following Backlash

Kylie Jenner donates $1m to Australia Relief Effort after backlash over Instagram posts

Kylie Jenner is the latest celebrity to donate $1 million to Australian firefighting efforts, People has confirmed.

The gesture comes after the Keeping Up With Kardashians star was slammed for showing little sensitivity in terms of the sort of posts she was sharing amid the devastating crisis.

While Jenner shared several posts to raise awareness of the rising animal death toll in the country, she then went on to post an Instagram story of herself wearing mink fur slippers and a photo with the caption: “Find ur fire.”

When a fan responded to the photo writing: “If anyone needs fire… you can have ours – Australia” Jenner immediately deleted the post.

“That post was completely unintentional,” the insider says. “Kylie stands behind her desire to want to help provide relief towards the devastation the fires have caused.”

Kylie becomes the latest high profile celebrity in the long line of stars who have donated considerable donations to help the firefighters and victims affected by the blazes.

Yesterday, during a concert in Sydney, Elton John revealed that he would be donating $1,000,000 to the firefighters battling the fires and the victims affected by the blazes. In the video below, recorded by a fan at the concert, Elton John emotionally revealed how much he “loves” Australia in a heartfelt speech.

The video, which was shared by Instagram user chipsareready, was captioned: “At [tonight’s] concert, @eltonjohn pledged $1M to the bushfire appeal. A great gesture from a great performer.”

In his speech, Elton says: “You should all be in awe of the work the firefighters are doing. This is a magnificent country. To see what is happening here breaks my heart, so we have to come together, we have to fight. I love Australia so much.

“There are people out there who have lost their lives, trying to save homes. There are people who have lost their lives, and their homes.”

As the crowd started to applaud the ‘Candle In The Wind’ singer, he added: “Therefore tonight, I will be pledging $1million.”

In addition, Chris Hemsworth revealed on Tuesday that he and his family would be donating $1 million to help support the “firefighters, the people on the front line, the people who have suffered, the communities that have taken a hit and who are in desperate need of our support.”

Writing on Instagram, the Marvel star wrote:

“Hi everyone. Like you, I want to support the fight against the bushfires here in Australia. My family and I are contributing a million dollars. Hopefully you guys can chip in too. Every penny counts so whatever you can muster up is greatly appreciated. In my bio I’ve added links to support the fire fighters, organisations and charities who are working flat out to provide support and relief during this devastating and challenging time. Beyond appreciative to everyone around the world for their well wishes and donations. It really does make a difference, so dig deep! Love ya.”

And on Monday, Wolf Of Wall Street actress Margot Robbie held back tears as she pleaded with the public to donate what they can.

    Through tears, Robbie said:

“I’m sure you’re all aware of what is happening in Australia at the moment with the fires… I wanted you to see how beautiful our country is, because it is so beautiful and it’s really hurting right now. It really, really needs you so please, please donate anything you can.

“Whatever you would have spent on your next cup of coffee, even one dollar would help. It’s so needed right now.

“Please, please if you haven’t already donated, please do and let’s give future generations the childhood I was so lucky to have.

Chris and his family become the latest in a long line of celebrities who have donated considerable sums of money to help the Australian fire services tackling the wildfires.

Australian singer Kylie Minogue also revealed earlier this week that she would be pledging $500,000 towards the immediate firefighting efforts tackling the resilient blazes. Writing on an Instagram post, the 51-year-old singer said:

“Last year I had the incredible opportunity of visiting some of the many beautiful places in my homeland for the first time. Returning home to such devastation throughout much of the country is heartbreaking. As a family, we’ve donated $500,000 towards the immediate firefighting efforts and the ongoing support which will be required. Big or small, from near or far, any support will help those affected by the devastating bushfires. With love, The Minogue Family.”

And this weekend, actress Nicole Kidman also pledged $500,000 to the Rural Fire Services, writing on her social media accounts: “Our family’s support, thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the fires all over Australia. We are donating $500,000 to the Rural Fire Services who are all doing and giving so much right now.”

And last week, singer Pink revealed she would also be donating $500,000 to the fire departments fighting the wildfires:

The ‘Just Like A Pill’ singer wrote to her followers: “I am totally devastated watching what is happening in Australia right now with the horrific bushfires. I am pledging a donation of $500,000 directly to the local fire services that are battling so hard on the frontlines. My heart goes out to our friends and family in Oz.”

If you would like to donate to the brave services fighting these bushfires, please find the necessary information below…

  • (B) Kylie Jenner’s Billion-Dollar Mirage: The Shocking Truth Behind the Inflated Empire

    (B) Kylie Jenner’s Billion-Dollar Mirage: The Shocking Truth Behind the Inflated Empire

More than a decade into their fame, the Kardashian-Jenners tend to induce eye rolls and sighs among jaded media consumers. But when it comes to their wealth, even critics of reality TV’s first family are intrigued; the Kardashian-Jenner machine—and the cash it generates—has been the subject of articles, podcasts, even books. But no one cares more about the topic than the family itself, which has spent years fighting Forbes for higher spots on our annual wealth and celebrity earnings lists.

So when the youngest of the clan, Kylie Jenner, sold 51% of her Kylie Cosmetics to beauty giant Coty in a deal valued at $1.2 billion this January, it was a watershed moment for the family. One of the greatest celebrity cash-outs of all time, the transaction seemed to confirm what Kylie had been saying all along and what Forbes had declared in March 2019: that Kylie Jenner was, indeed, a billionaire—at least before the coronavirus.

    Kylie Jenner

When we visited Kylie Jenner in 2018, she claimed her cosmetics company was on track to sell more than $300 million in makeup that year. In reality? It only did $125 million.

    Jamel Toppin for Forbes
“Kylie is a modern-day icon, with an incredible sense of the beauty consumer,” Coty chairman Peter Harf gushed when announcing the acquisition in November.

But in the deal’s fine print, a less flattering truth emerged. Filings released by publicly traded Coty over the past six months lay bare one of the family’s best-kept secrets: Kylie’s business is significantly smaller, and less profitable, than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets, including Forbes, to believe.

Of course, white lies, omissions and outright fabrications are to be expected from the family that perfected—then monetized—the concept of “famous for being famous.” But, similar to Donald Trump’s decades-long obsession with his net worth, the unusual lengths to which the Jenners have been willing to go—including inviting Forbes into their mansions and CPA’s offices, and even creating tax returns that were likely forged—reveals just how desperate some of the ultra-rich are to look even richer.

“It’s fair to say that everything the Kardashian-Jenner family does is oversized,” says Stephanie Wissink, an equity analyst covering consumer products at Jefferies. “To stay on-brand, it needs to be bigger than it is.”

Based on this new information—plus the impact of Covid-19 on beauty stocks and consumer spending—Forbes now thinks that Kylie Jenner, even after pocketing an estimated $340 million after taxes from the sale, is not a billionaire.

As with other Kardashian ventures, Kylie’s business began as a way to cash in on a minor scandal. The youngest of the family, she spent more than a year denying tabloid speculation that she was using lip filler injections before eventually finally fessing up to it in May 2015. Far from being embarrassed about being caught in a lie, she—and her shrewd mother, Kris—seized it as a marketing opportunity.

With $250,000 of her earnings from modeling, endorsements and Keeping Up With The Kardashians appearances, Kylie launched her first batch of 15,000 lip kits, consisting of a lip liner and matching lipstick, in November 2015. Thanks to clever Instagram marketing, the $29 kits were gone in less than a minute. “Before I even refreshed the page, everything was sold out,” she later told Forbes.

    Keeping Up with the Kardashians

Reality TV made the Kardashian-Jenner family wildly famous—but how they leveraged that fame through their businesses, ranging from mobile games to makeup, is how they amassed most of their fortunes.

    E! Entertainment
By the end of 2016, Kylie had dozens of new products and a reputation as a skyrocketing new entrant in the cosmetics industry. A few months after her sister Kim Kardashian West scored a Forbes cover in July 2016, Jenner publicists began a campaign to “get a Forbes cover for Kylie.” Revenues were $400 million over the business’ first 18 months, they said, with a personal take-home pay of $250 million for Kylie. Pressed for proof, they opened up their books. During meetings at Kris Jenner’s palatial Hidden Hills, California, estate and the family accountant’s office nearby, Forbes was shown tax returns detailing $307 million in 2016 revenues and personal income of more than $110 million for Kylie that year. It would have been enough to put her at N0. 2 on the Celebrity 100 list, behind only Taylor Swift, the accountant was quick to point out. But the documents, despite looking authentic and bearing Kylie Jenner’s signature, weren’t exactly convincing since the story they told, of e-commerce brand Kylie Cosmetics growing from nothing to $300 million in sales in a single year, was hard to believe.

After speaking with a handful of analysts and industry experts who also found the Jenners’ claims implausible, we settled on a more reasonable estimate for our 2017 Celebrity 100 list: $41 million in overall earnings for Kylie, good for the No. 59 spot. Kris was “so frustrated,” the Jenners’ PR flack shot back. “We’ve done so much.”

Two months later, a story appeared in WWD, a trade publication known as “the bible of fashion,” using the exact numbers the Jenners first tried to give Forbes. “There has been raging speculation about the size of her business, with guesstimates ranging from $50 million up to $300 million,” the story reads. “Well, here’s the bad news for more-established beauty players: Jenner’s surpassed the higher figure with ease. Kylie Cosmetics actually has done $420 million in retail sales—in just 18 months—Kris Jenner revealed. . . . ” It was the first time the Jenners had publicly disclosed the size of the business, the story boasted—“and they provided WWD with documentation.”

That sky-high revenue number—repeated everywhere from People to CNBC and Fortune—took hold. By the summer of 2018, when Forbes set out to calculate Kylie’s net worth for our list of the richest self-made women, the industry’s opinion of Kylie’s business had shifted. Those huge revenues were “totally possible,” said one analyst, adding that she had heard similar numbers herself. Another suggested revenues were around $350 million. The estimates kept climbing. Revenues were $400 million, according to a Piper Jaffray research note in 2018. An Oppenheimer report projected sales would top $700 million by 2020.

    Forbes Cover

Jenner on the August 31, 2018 issue of Forbes

    Forbes
The Jenners offered us their own number: 2017 revenues were up 7%, they said, to $330 million. “No other influencer has ever gotten to the volume or had the rabid fans and consistency that Kylie has had for the last two and a half years,” an executive at e-commerce platform Shopify, which manages Kylie’s online store, told Forbes at the time. Based on her rapid success—certified by industry sources, plus those 2016 tax returns—Kylie appeared on the cover of Forbes magazine in July 2018, ranking No. 27 on our listing of the richest self-made women. At age 20, she was worth $900 million, we estimated, and would soon become the youngest self-made billionaire ever.

“Thank you for this article and the recognition,” Kylie Instagrammed. Kim Kardashian West tweeted her congratulations—twice. “I am SO proud,” Kris Jenner wrote, finally pleased.

The next month Kylie celebrated her 21st birthday at West Hollywood nightclub Delilah, in a Barbie-themed blowout complete with a pink ball pit, performances by Travis Scott and Dave Chappelle—and bartenders in black T-shirts with Kylie’s Forbes cover printed on them, her face plastered next to the words “America’s Women Billionaires.” By early the next year, she officially crossed the ten-digit threshold.

Any doubts that Kylie wasn’t a billionaire were seemingly erased in November 2019, when $8.6 billion (revenues) Coty announced it was snapping up 51% of Kylie Cosmetics for $600 million, effectively valuing the business at about $1.2 billion. The deal gave the struggling 116-year-old Coty a hip, social media-savvy brand to help turn around its sagging balance sheet. It gave Kylie a major chance at expansion, plus a boatload of cash and apparently clear proof of her billionaire status.

In a call with stock analysts, Coty’s chief financial officer heralded the deal as “a compelling financial equation” that would help “make Coty a modern, growing and profitable beauty player.” The analysts were immediately skeptical. It looked like Coty was paying way too much for a celebrity brand that could prove to be just a fad, one charged. Another asked how Coty could be sure Kylie will remain committed to promoting the business in the years to come.

Then there were Kylie’s financials. Revenues over a 12-month period preceding the deal: $177 million, according to the Coty presentation—far lower than the published estimates at the time. More problematic, Coty said that sales were up 40% from 2018, meaning the business only generated about $125 million that year, nowhere near the $360 million the Jenners had led Forbes to believe. Kylie’s skin care line, which launched in May 2019, did $100 million in revenues in its first month and a half, Kylie’s reps told us. The filings show the line was actually “on track” to finish the year with just $25 million in sales.

“I think everybody was surprised,” says Wissink, the Jefferies analyst, who was on the call. “The negative that came out of that announcement was that the business was a lot smaller than everybody had expected.”

So much smaller, in fact, that there’s virtually no way the numbers the Jenners were peddling in earlier years could be true either. If Kylie Cosmetics did $125 million in sales in 2018, how could it have done $307 million in 2016 (as the company’s supposed tax returns state) or $330 million in 2017?

    Kylie Cosmetics

Kylie’s signature Lip Kits, which consist of a lipstick and a matching lip liner, were first released in late 2015 and sold out in minutes. She now sells them both online and in Ulta stores.

    Getty Images
One explanation: Kylie’s business quietly fell by more than half in a single year. If so, Coty paid up for a “high-growth” brand that is actually a much smaller business than it was just a few years ago. (Coty would not answer any questions about Kylie Cosmetics for this story.) Data from e-commerce firm Rakuten, which tracks a select number of receipts, suggests there was a 62% decline in Kylie’s online sales between 2016 and 2018.

Still, virtually every industry expert polled by Forbes thinks the business couldn’t have collapsed by so much so quickly. “It seems unlikely that much revenue could have evaporated overnight,” says Evercore analyst Omar Saad. “There doesn’t seem to be any evidence the business has cratered,” adds cosmetics veteran Jeffrey Ten, who has led companies like Note Cosmetics, Nyx and Calvin Klein Beauty. “If so, why would Coty buy it?”

More likely: The business was never that big to begin with, and the Jenners have lied about it every year since 2016—including having their accountant draft tax returns with false numbers—to help juice Forbes’ estimates of Kylie’s earnings and net worth. While we can’t prove that those documents were fake (though it’s likely), it’s clear that Kylie’s camp has been lying.

There’s also the issue of profit: Forbes had been estimating that her business, which has little overhead, was notching 44% net margins. But Coty’s filings indicate that Kylie’s profits are likely lower than we figured, since her Ebitda margin—which factors in some, but not all, of her expenses—is only around 25%.

    Kris Jenner

Kris Jenner, the Kardashian-Jenner family matriarch, helps guide her daughters through business decisions—for a price. She takes 10% of their earnings, including an estimated $60 million haul, pretax, from the Coty sale.

    Getty Images
For years, the Jenners insisted that all of those profits went directly to Kylie because she owned the business outright. But Coty’s purchase agreement specifically lists a “KMJ 2018 Irrevocable Trust,” controlled by Kristen M. Jenner, as owning a profit interest in Kylie Cosmetics. Upon the sale, the document says the trust would get a capital, or ownership, interest in the company. The Jenners initially told Forbes that the trust holds money Kylie Jenner earned before she turned 18 and that Kylie is its beneficiary. But the trust appears to have been created well after Kylie turned 18, and the Jenners declined to offer any proof to back up their claims. Given the lack of clarity—and the history of lies—we’re erring on the side of caution and assuming that the trust belongs to Kris Jenner. That means Kylie Jenner owns an estimated 44.1% of Kylie Cosmetics, rather than 49%.

“You have to remember they are in the entertainment business,” says Ten. “Everything in entertainment has to be exaggerated to get attention.”

Taking all this new information into account and factoring in the pandemic, Forbes has recalculated Kylie’s net worth and concluded that she is not a billionaire. A more realistic accounting of her personal fortune puts it at just under $900 million, despite the headlines surrounding the Coty deal that seemed to confirm her billionaire status. More than a third of that is the estimated $340 million in post-tax cash she would have pocketed from selling a majority of her company. The rest is made up of revised earnings based on her business’ smaller size and a more conservative estimate of its profitability, plus the value of her remaining share of Kylie Cosmetics—which is not only smaller than the Jenners led us to believe but is also worth less now than it was when the deal was announced in November, given the economic effects of the coronavirus.

Coty’s share price has fallen more than 60% since the deal was struck, and even better-performing competitors like Ulta Beauty and Estée Lauder are still down single digits. Add that to the fact that Wall Street tends to think Coty paid too much to begin with and there is no way to realistically peg Kylie’s net worth above a billion—despite her massive cash-out.

As usual, we asked the Jenners for input on our numbers. But pressed for answers on the many discrepancies, the typically chatty family did something out of character: They stopped answering our questions.

Editor’s note, June 1, 2020: Following publication of this story, representatives of Kylie and Kris Jenner sent a letter to Forbes denying that Kylie has lied or that the tax returns the Jenners sent us contained false numbers. “The accusations that the Jenners, and/or their accountants, falsified tax returns and then lied about their 2016 revenues for the last four years, are absolutely false,” the letter reads, in part.

In a startling revelation that has captivated fans and media alike, Selena Gomez has finally opened up about the reasons behind her high-profile breakup with Justin Bieber. After years of speculation and swirling rumors, Gomez’s candid explanation sheds light on the emotional and personal factors that led to the end of one of Hollywood’s most talked-about relationships.

During a recent interview, Selena Gomez spoke openly about the tumultuous nature of her relationship with Bieber, offering an introspective look into the complexities that defined their time together. According to Gomez, the decision to end the relationship was rooted in a series of profound and challenging issues that ultimately proved insurmountable.

One of the primary reasons Gomez cited for the breakup was the pervasive instability and unpredictability that marked their relationship. She described how frequent breakups and reconciliations created an emotionally exhausting environment that made it difficult for her to maintain a sense of stability and personal growth. Gomez admitted that the on-again, off-again nature of their romance took a significant toll on her mental well-being and overall happiness.

Another critical factor Gomez revealed was the intense media scrutiny that surrounded their relationship. The constant public and media pressure amplified existing issues and contributed to an environment where their personal problems were magnified and exposed. Gomez expressed how this relentless intrusion not only affected their relationship but also impacted her self-esteem and emotional health.

Furthermore, Gomez touched upon the differences in their life paths and personal growth. She highlighted how their evolving goals and priorities increasingly diverged, making it clear that their relationship no longer aligned with their individual aspirations. Gomez acknowledged that while Bieber’s career was experiencing its own set of challenges and successes, her own journey and ambitions were pulling her in a different direction.

Gomez also discussed the role of self-care and personal development in her decision. She emphasized that breaking up with Bieber was ultimately a necessary step for her own mental and emotional health. By prioritizing her well-being, Gomez aimed to create space for personal growth and healing, recognizing that staying in the relationship was no longer serving her best interests.

The revelation has sparked widespread discussion among fans and media outlets, who are now reflecting on the complexities of celebrity relationships and the impact of public scrutiny. Selena Gomez’s openness about her breakup with Justin Bieber serves as a reminder of the personal challenges faced by those in the limelight and underscores the importance of prioritizing one’s own mental health and happiness.

    (B) “Selena Gomez Breaks Silence to Defend Taylor Swift Amid Hailey Bieber Feud – Old Video Sparks New Drama!”

In the ever-turbulent world of celebrity feuds and alliances, Selena Gomez has once again found herself in the midst of controversy, this time coming to the defense of her close friend Taylor Swift. The drama erupted following the resurfacing of an old video featuring Hailey Bieber, which many have interpreted as a dig at Swift.

The video in question, originally posted several years ago, features Hailey Bieber making a series of comments that have been viewed by some as disparaging toward Taylor Swift. In the clip, Bieber appears to make light of Swift’s famous “squad” and her public persona, sparking widespread backlash among Swift’s fans and the broader public.

As the video began circulating again, it reignited the flames of the long-standing feud between Swift and Bieber. Gomez, who has been a vocal supporter of Swift and a close friend for years, did not hesitate to step in. Taking to social media, Gomez posted a heartfelt message defending Swift and condemning the resurfaced video’s content.

In her statement, Gomez expressed her disapproval of the video and reiterated her unwavering support for Swift. “Taylor is one of the kindest, most talented people I know,” Gomez wrote. “It’s disappointing to see this old video being used to undermine her. We should focus on lifting each other up rather than tearing each other down.”

Gomez’s defense of Swift has been met with widespread praise from fans and supporters of both stars. The show of solidarity comes at a time when celebrity friendships are often scrutinized and tested by public opinion. Gomez’s intervention underscores the strong bond between her and Swift, and highlights her commitment to standing by her friends in the face of adversity.

The resurfacing of the video and Gomez’s subsequent defense has also sparked renewed discussion about the ongoing tensions between the Bieber and Swift camps. While the video and its implications are being debated, Gomez’s stance has further solidified her reputation as a loyal and supportive friend in the often cutthroat world of celebrity.

As the situation continues to develop, all eyes will be on how Bieber responds to the backlash and whether this incident will lead to any further public exchanges. For now, Selena Gomez’s decisive support for Taylor Swift reaffirms the strength of their friendship and demonstrates the enduring nature of their bond in the face of external challenges.

‘A fun loving, beautiful young lady’: Elsie’s school pays tribute

‘Elsie was an amazing little girl. She had the ability to light up any room that she entered, she was truly unforgettable.’

The couple, who are understood to have met Elsie’s pop hero Taylor Swift at Wembley this week, said their daughter was a ‘devoted Swiftie’ who loved to dance.

They said she ‘gave every activity a go’ but her real passion was cheerleading, adding: ‘Her weekly classes couldn’t come around quick enough.

‘Her persistence was admirable, from completing a 3k run and 10k charity walk for her local hospice, as well as moving up book bands in school, everything she did she gave 100 per cent and would never give up.

‘Our family affirmation is, ‘as long as you try your best, enjoy yourself and have fun, nothing else matters. We are the four best friends in the whole wide world,’ – that mantra will remain with us for the rest of our lives, sound in the knowledge that Elsie is here with us and forever will be in our hearts.’

Elsie’s family will walk behind her cortege from her home to the church, where a pink carpet has been laid for the occasion.

Royal Mail staff will also pay tribute when the cortege passes as Mr Stancombe is a postal worker.

Liverpool Lighthouse choir will perform at the service, while a singer and pianist will also play some of Elsie’s favourite songs, including by Taylor Swift.

Southport attack: How day of unimaginable tragedy unfolded

Elsie’s family also thanked the Southport community for their support since her death, on July 29.

‘Elsie has brought light, love and joy to so many lives and it has been clear to us in the overwhelming response from everybody that knew her and everybody within the community,’ they added.

‘We will always be grateful for the love and support we have had over these past weeks and we are and will continue to be proud to live in Southport.

‘To that end, Elsie’s legacy will continue and as a family we will ensure that her impact and legacy endures with positivity and hope and with Elsie by our side forever and always.’

Reverend Jennie Hardy, who will preside over the church service, told BBC Radio Merseyside that Elsie’s parents had described her as an ‘extraordinary little girl’.

Ms Hardy said they had told her she was ‘very kind-natured’ and ‘would look after other people’.

She added: ‘She loved chatting, she loved having fun. She loved a party and a celebration.

‘She was unusual in some ways that she could really connect and converse with adults along with children.

‘She was wise beyond her years; emotionally intelligent and just an absolute joy to be around.’

The service will be live-screened at St John’s Church Hall and Liverpool Road Methodist Church in Birkdale.

Elsie’s family will go on to a private service in Burscough.

A vigil is also planned at The Atkinson arts centre in Lord Street in Southport later.

Eight other children and two adults were seriously injured during the knife attack.

On Wednesday the parents of Elsie, Bebe and Alice had a private meeting with King Charles following his visit to the town a day earlier.

The Monarch examined the sea of floral tributes, teddy bears and balloons outside Southport Town Hall, before meeting survivors and emergency service workers who responded to the attack. He also signed a book of condolence.

Charles previously said he had been ‘profoundly shocked’ to hear of the ‘utter horrific incident’ and sent his ‘prayers’ to those affected.
