The superstar pair went viral on Sunday as they took in the men’s singles final from courtside in New York, dancing along to the music between games.

Many claimed they were ‘doing too much’ and blasted their antics during the match, while others enjoyed their loved-up display – but now Kelce himself has spoken out for the first time.

First referencing his outfit and revealing the theme, he said on New Heights: ‘I went country club… it was tennis, what do you want me to do? It was tennis!’

He then talked listeners through the day, revealing: ‘It was a completely different world. I looked to my left and my right and every single time I did it, I saw a familiar face. Justin’s original DWI charge has been officially dropped and lowered to Driving While Ability Impaired, sources told TMZ.

His lawyer, Edward Burke, Jr., and prosecutors got the judge in the DWI case to sign off on the deal.

Justin will most likely have to pay a fine of $300 to $500, according to the outlet.

The exact amount will be determined during a court hearing on Friday.

The former NSYNC frontman will still have his driver’s license suspended due to declining a breathalyzer test when initially pulled over by police.

In New York, refusal to take a breathalyzer equates to an automatic license suspension for a year.

JUSTIN’S ARREST

Shortly after leaving The American Hotel following a night out with friends, the singer was pulled over while traveling southbound on Madison Street, a public highway in the Hamptons village.

Cops, often stationed nearby, noticed Justin swerving on the road and blowing through a stop sign.

Police smelled alcohol on his breath and noted that he was unsteady on his feet and also had slowed speech and glassy eyes.

However, one witness told The New York Post that Justin was “wasted” when he left the establishment.

In 2001, he represented Lizzie Grubman, a nightlife publicist whose car careened into a crowd of 16 people in front of a Hamptons club, before fleeing the scene.

He was taken into custody that night and arraigned in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court the following morning.

He was released without bail on his recognizance and was also charged with one count of DWI due to his refusal of the breathalyzer, according to Justin’s lawyer.

Justin was also cited for running a stop sign and failing to keep in his own lane.

ED’S STATEMENT

Justin’s lawyer gave a statement to The U.S. Sun about the case, claiming Justin “was not intoxicated” at the time of his arrest.

“The most important fact to know about this case is that Justin was not intoxicated and should not have been arrested for DWI.

“The police made a number of very significant errors in this case,” Ed claimed.

“In court today, you heard the district attorney try to fix one of those errors.

“But that’s just one and there are many others. Sometimes the police make mistakes and this is just one of those instances,” he continued.

“But the fact remains, he was not intoxicated and they made an error in arresting him for it. We are confident that his charge will be dismissed.”

The Suffolk County District Attorney’s office responded moments after Ed made his statement.

The office said they “located a ministerial error in the original accusatory instrument” and corrected it.

“The facts and circumstance of the case have not been changed or amended,” the statement read.

“Mr. Timberlake is scheduled to be arraigned on the amended accusatory instrument … via a virtual appearance at Sag Harbor Village Justice Court.”

While 2024 has not shaped up to be a stellar time for the pop superstar, things may turn around—if only slightly—in a few months. Eligibility for the 2025 Grammys closed a little over a week ago, and nominations are expected to be released later this year. Timberlake is far from a shoo-in, but he could wind up a possible winner again.

Timberlake’s latest full-length is certainly being considered by voters for a Best Pop Vocal Album slot. The set may have underperformed, but the Recording Academy’s body has a tendency to stick with the names they love—those that have proved themselves many times before. Even if a new album fails to live up to its predecessors, it’s usually easier for a legend to wind up a nominee with a lackluster project than for a newcomer with a more impressive one.

If Everything I Thought It Was does wind up being included in the highly-competitive Best Pop Vocal Album field, it will mark Timberlake’s sixth career nod in the category. That sum includes his solo work and the music he released as a member of NSYNC. The boy band is also eligible for several Grammys this time around, though not with a full-length.

One more nod in the Best Pop Vocal Album vertical would help Timberlake tie the all-time record for most nominations. Currently, the honor is owned by Kelly Clarkson, who has snagged half a dozen chances to win.

Timberlake is presently matched with both Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift with five Best Pop Vocal Album nominations apiece. Both of those women released huge titles in the past eligibility period, and they are all but assured to land one of the five or six available slots. All three artists could match Clarkson’s record, or perhaps only some of them will manage to do so.

To the surprise of exactly no one, the hosts of The View had a lot to say about the presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump on Wednesday (September 11) morning’s episode.

Whoopi Goldberg started the conversation off by calling the debate a “booty whooping” and saying she was “quite relieved” by the results of the debate. “Clearly, Vice President Harris kicked some butt. She called you-know-who out for kissing up to dictators, killing the immigration bill, having no healthcare plan, and spewing lies about post-birth abortion.”

Then, after reviewing a particularly talked-about segment in which Trump claimed members of an immigrant community in Ohio are eating pet animals for fun, Joy Behar chimed in to joke that her own dog was afraid before adding, “She was so tough on him that was almost like elder abuse, like I was watching a woman kick the babooey out of a man.”

Alyssa Farah Griffin, who previously worked in Trump’s administration but has become a vocal critic of him, agreed that Harris “objectively won the night” and said that she predicted one thing that happened at the debate: “He melted down within the first few minutes. She laid traps for him, and he flopped right into them. On the issue he should’ve been strongest on, border security, he ended up talking about his rallies.” After running through some of the perceived mistakes Trump made during his appearance on the debate, Griffin added, “If you can’t get through a 90-minute debate, how can you get through four years?”

For Sunny Hostin, Harris delivered on one of her hopes, performance-wise, as she explained, “I had said from the very beginning that I like the match-up of a prosecutor and felon, right? I like that. And what you saw was that— you saw Kamala Harris prosecuting a case.”

Goldberg went on to physically demonstrate the opening moments of the debate, when Harris approached Trump on his side of the stage to offer an introductory handshake and added, “And then she said her name correctly. And you’ll notice he didn’t say it at all.” Sara Haines also praised that first exchange as a “bold way to start the whole thing.”

Hostin then revealed why she took personal offense to the comments about pet-eating, saying, “When he was talking about Springfield, Ohio, he was talking about Haitian people in particular, and as the wife of a Haitian and as the mother of Haitian children, how dare you?”

Goldberg went on to conclude the segment by reviewing some of her other picks for highlights of the evening, saying, “She nailed him on [Project] 2025, she popped him in the head on abortion, she slapped the lips off him on the border.”

“What you saw was preparation,” Hostin said in agreement.

Whoopi Goldberg is ready to shake the Hot Topics table and bust down a wall of boxes as The View prepares to return for a new season next week.

At the tail end of the show’s month-long summer hiatus, The View dropped a season 28 preview days before its grand return from inside a new broadcast studio, and the teaser clip (below) shows the Oscar-winning actress breaking through a giant barricade of moving boxes in anticipation of new episodes.

“Y’all know we’re moving, right?” Goldberg says at the top of the ad, with cohost Sunny Hostin promising, “We’re moving downtown to the hottest new studio to match our Hot Topics.”

Ana Navarro — fresh from her hosting gig at the Democratic National Convention — also appears in the clip, carrying her dog, ChaCha, inside one of her moving boxes, indicating that she and her pooch are “ready for the move” into season 28.

“I’m not carrying these boxes. Let Alyssa do it,” Joy Behar quips in the next scene, which quickly cuts to Republican panelist and former Donald Trump White House communications team member Alyssa Farah Griffin carrying a parcel of her own.

“I’m used to heavy lifting,” Griffin says. “I’m a Republican on The View!”

The preview ends with an announcer addressing Goldberg, asking the Ghost star if there will be surprises in the new episodes ahead.

“Oh yeah!” Goldberg says as she smashes through a wall of moving boxes while the off-camera crew around her laughs.

Season 28 marks a significant occasion for the show, as all six permanent cohosts are set to return for the third consecutive year — making the current cast the longest-running consistent roster of ladies to sit at the table in several years.

New episodes have a big legacy to follow, though, as season 27 included some epic moments for the panelists, from unknown noise-based entities terrorizing the set and high-profile interviews with political and entertainment industry figures, to Behar comparing the Washington Monument to a penis and Goldberg reminding the in-studio audience that they’re all going to die.
