Justin Timberlake pleads guilty to impaired driving (HG)

Justin Timberlake, the former NSYNC star and renowned solo artist, made headlines once again on Friday, but this time it wasn’t for his music or acting career. Timberlake pleaded guilty to impaired driving, closing the chapter on a criminal case that began with his arrest in June in the Hamptons, New York. The case has drawn widespread attention, with fans and the media following the developments closely since his arrest on a charge of driving under the influence.

The incident occurred on a summer evening in the Hamptons, where Timberlake was reportedly spending time with friends and family. According to the arrest report, police officers pulled Timberlake over after noticing erratic driving behavior. After conducting a sobriety test, the officers determined that Timberlake was over the legal limit for alcohol consumption while operating a vehicle. He was taken into custody but released shortly after posting bail. At the time of his arrest, Timberlake made no public statements, leaving fans speculating about the potential consequences for the star.

On Friday, Timberlake appeared in court and pleaded guilty to the charge of impaired driving. His legal team, which had been working behind the scenes to negotiate a plea deal, managed to reduce the potential penalties. As part of the agreement, Timberlake will avoid jail time but will face a series of penalties including a hefty fine, mandatory participation in an alcohol education program, and a temporary suspension of his driver’s license.

The case has caused considerable buzz not only because of Timberlake’s celebrity status but also because it is rare for high-profile stars to face legal consequences for such incidents. His decision to plead guilty, rather than contest the charges, has been interpreted by some as an acknowledgment of his responsibility and a desire to move forward. In a brief statement released by his representatives after the court proceedings, Timberlake expressed regret for his actions, stating:

“I made a mistake, and I take full responsibility for it. Drinking and driving is something I know I should never have done, and I’m committed to learning from this experience. I’m grateful to my family, friends, and fans for their support during this time.”

While some fans have expressed disappointment in Timberlake’s actions, many have voiced their support, appreciating his willingness to take accountability. Public figures and celebrities often face scrutiny for their behavior, and Timberlake is no exception. However, his swift response and acceptance of the legal consequences may help to mitigate some of the potential damage to his reputation.

Timberlake, who rose to fame in the late 1990s as a member of the boy band NSYNC before launching a successful solo career, has generally maintained a clean public image throughout his career. Known for hits like “Cry Me a River” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” as well as his ventures into acting and entrepreneurship, this incident marks one of the few legal troubles the star has faced. The case has prompted discussions about the pressures of fame and the challenges that celebrities face in maintaining a balanced personal life.

Moving forward, Timberlake will likely focus on repairing his image and continuing with his professional endeavors. Sources close to the singer have hinted that he is already working on new music, and his upcoming projects may serve as a way to shift the narrative away from this unfortunate incident. Fans and critics alike will be watching closely to see how Timberlake handles this challenge and whether he can use it as an opportunity for personal growth and reflection.

In the end, Justin Timberlake’s guilty plea to impaired driving serves as a reminder that even those in the public eye are not immune to making mistakes. How he chooses to move forward will be key in determining the long-term impact of this incident on his career and public perception. For now, Timberlake’s fans remain hopeful that this will be a one-time error and that he will learn valuable lessons from this experience.

Joy Behar Says ‘The View’ Rejected Lauren Sanchez After She Auditioned To Be A Host Twice: “I Don’t Think You Needed That Job” (HG)

Lauren Sanchez might have been rejected from hosting The View twice, but things seemed to have worked out for her regardless. After all, she is engaged to Jeff Bezos, who is the second richest man on planet Earth.

Sanchez appeared on this morning’s episode of The View to promote her new children’s book The Fly Who Flew to Space. But when the award-winning journalist joined the co-hosts at the Hot Topics table, she admitted that she was “a little nervous” to be on the show.

“My hand was shaking back there and my sister looked at me and she goes, ‘You’re not auditioning this time. You’re a guest,’” she said, referring to her previous auditions to be a co-host (one of which was alongside Sunny Hostin).

Joy Behar then filled the audience in on Sanchez’s connection to The View, explaining, “Lauren auditioned for this show twice and the powers that be decided, ‘No, you’re not getting the job.’ But look at you now! I don’t think that you needed the job.”

Sanchez, who had appeared on The View as a guest host more than two decades ago, recalled the “incredible” piece of advice the late Barbara Walters gave her at the time.

“One time —  I actually saw the clip, I couldn’t believe it — they pulled my hair back, they made me dress a little more conservative,” she said. “And after the show, Barbara Walters pulled me aside and she goes, ‘What are you doing?’ And I was like, ‘What do you mean?’ And she goes, ‘If you’re gonna go down, go down as yourself. Because if you don’t go down as yourself, you’re gonna beat yourself up twice.’”

She also remembered Behar once telling her, “Keep your head up, kid,” when she was having a “tough” day on set.

Looking back, Sanchez noted that her son wouldn’t have been born if she had gotten the job. “Everything happens for a reason,” she added.

What do you think? Be the first to comment.

Behar wrapped up the interview by telling their guest, “It’s so great that everything has worked out well for you so we don’t have to feel guilty that you’re not on the show.”

Meghan is dubbed ‘Duchess Difficult’ by ‘terrified’

Meghan is dubbed ‘Duchess Difficult’ by ‘terrified’ US staff as source claims she throws ‘tantrums’ and ‘makes grown men cry’ – while ‘enabler’ Harry is increasingly isolated with his closest friend his bodyguard-for-hire

Meghan Markle has been dubbed ‘Duchess Difficult’ by her staff amid claims that she ‘terrifies’ and ‘belittles’ people, a damning report has revealed.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, a source close to the couple has claimed that Meghan ‘belittles people, she doesn’t take advice’.
They also described the couple as ‘both poor decision-makers’ who ‘change their minds frequently’ – with Harry dubbed ‘a very, very charming person’ and yet ‘very much an enabler’.

The publication reported allegations that Megan was ‘absolutely relentless’ and that ‘she marches around like a dictator in high heels, fuming and barking orders’, adding: ‘I’ve watched her reduce grown men to tears’.

The new claims come as the couple prepare to celebrate the Duke of Sussex turning 40 on Sunday, as separate sources suggested he was feeling increasingly lonely in the US and considers his security guard David Langdown his best friend.

Meghan Markle has been dubbed 'Duchess Difficult' by her staff, a report claims, while Harry has been said to be an 'enabler'

The claims come following reports that the couple's chief of staff Josh Kettler resigned from his role in August after a three month stint

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attend an official photocall to announce their engagement at The Sunken Gardens, Kensington Palace on November 27, 2017. The couple have gained a reputation for losing employees, and are believed to have lost at least 18 members of their workforce since they married in 2018

The new allegations form part of a study into an exodus of staff who had worked for the Sussexes, including the couple’s chief of staff Josh Kettler who resigned from his role in August after a three-month stint.

Meghan’s ‘noisy tantrums’ and ‘angry 5 am emails’ have also earned her the nickname ‘Duckess Difficult’ by her members of staff, the Hollywood Reporter said.

Megan had previously been accused of bullying palace staff before the pair’s move to California, prompting royal aides to launch an inquiry into claims of Meghan’s ‘belittling’ behaviour towards two personal assistants.

Staff were said to have been left in tears and feeling ‘traumatised’ – with some likening their condition to having post-traumatic stress.
While details of the report were never revealed, the allegations have always been strongly denied by the duchess, whose lawyers described them at the time as a ‘calculated smear campaign’.

The new reports come after it was revealed last week by The Mail on Sunday that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s PR adviser Christine Weir Schirmer had left quietly at the end of last year after joining the couple as head of communications for their charitable foundation Archewell in 2020.

News of Schirmer’s departure came just weeks after it was reported that Kettler had resigned after his short spell working for the couple.
While Kettler had been hired on a trial basis when he took up the role with Harry and Megan, US magazine People reported that the ‘decision to part ways was mutual, with both sides agreeing it wasn’t the right fit’.

But the departures of Schirmer and Kettler have only highlighted the problems Meghan and Harry have long had when it comes to keeping their staff.

The couple have gained a reputation for losing employees, and are believed to have lost at least 18 members of their workforce since they married in 2018.

Nine or more have left their roles since the couple escaped Britain for California in 2020, including their global press secretary Toya Holness and Meghan’s top aide and private secretary Samantha Cohen.

A spokesperson for the Sussexes refused to comment when approached by MailOnline.

Meanwhile, Harry did issue a statement on Friday night telling of his excitement at turning 40, saying: ‘Bring on the new decade.’
The Duke will mark the milestone on Sunday privately with Meghan and their children Archie, five and three-year-old Lilibet.
He is then thought to be planning a getaway for a weekend with his closest friends, Sky News reported.

His message paid tribute to his two ‘incredibly kind and funny’ children, adding they had ‘sharpened his focus in all my work’.
Harry told the BBC: ‘Whatever the age, my mission is to continue showing up and doing good in the world. Bring on the next decade.’
Prince Harry has indicated he is excited to 'bring on the next decade' ahead of his 40th birthday this weekend

The Duke's last decade has seen him grow apart from his family, including his elder brother Prince William who had organised Harry's 30th birthday celebrations a decade ago

The couple's rift with the royals widened after their Netflix series and Harry's memoir Spare

Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace are both yet to indicate whether they will do anything to mark Harry’s big birthday.
Tensions within the royal family since Harry and Meghan left for a new life in the US in 2020 have only got worse over the following years, especially following the publication of Harry’s memoir Spare in January last year.

He claimed his brother William, the Prince of Wales, 42, had branded Meghan ‘difficult’, ‘rude’ and ‘abrasive’, and even accused the elder sibling of pushing him into a dog bowl.

The latest clash came on Monday, when a Netflix teaser for a documentary called Polo – produced by the Sussexes’ production company – was released just hours after the Princess of Wales shared a video marking the end of her chemotherapy treatment.

  • New Chapter Awaits Caitlin Clark’s Love Life as Boyfriend Connor McCaffery Eyes Fresh Journey

New Chapter Awaits Caitlin Clark’s Love Life as Boyfriend Connor McCaffery Eyes Fresh Journey

Iowa guard might be looking for a new home. But it’s not Caitlin Clark. We are talking about her boyfriend, Connor McCaffrey. He has an interesting offer on his way. McCaffrey, currently an assistant coach for the Indiana Pacers, is rumored to be in the running to replace Greg Oden as an assistant coach for Butler men’s basketball.

This potential move would be a significant step for the 26-year-old’s resume, giving him the chance to reunite with his brother, who transferred to the Bulldogs for his final NCAA year. While this is a promising opportunity for McCaffrey, it might not be ideal for Clark. Before the Fever picked the point guard, her fans had already anticipated how her personal life would blossom.

Clark has long enjoyed support from being close to her boyfriend in Indiana. With Indiana Fever and the Pacers sharing the same arena, it has allowed the two to spend time together. They were often spotted practicing shooting together at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Although the couple won’t be forced into a long-distance relationship, their frequent meetups may become less frequent.

The love birds began dating a year and a half ago. Indiana wasn’t of course planned for the two. However, it worked out well for Clark, who had McCaffrey after she arrived in the state. The pair celebrated their one-year anniversary this past April.

    USA Today via Reuters

As per the report by the Indy Star’s Akeem Glaspie, Greg Oden is leaving his position at Butler, and McCaffery may be his replacement. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.

Connor McCaffrey’s potential move to reunite the McCaffery family

The McCaffery family has a strong inclination toward coaching. Connor’s father, Fran McCaffery, has been the head coach of Iowa for 14 years now. Both Connor and his brother Patrick played for the Hawkeyes. Currently, another team is forming at Butler, as Patrick McCaffery has joined the Bulldogs this year. But that’s not all.

Inside WNBA star Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffery's relationship with pair both starring in college sports at Iowa | The US Sun

The youngest McCaffery, Jack, has already committed to joining the Bulldogs as well. Excited by the news, Caitlin Clark even commented, “Fire twin,” showing her support for his decision. Jack recently graduated from West Senior High School in Iowa. Like his brothers, he had several offers but ultimately chose to follow Patrick to represent the Bulldogs.

It seems the eldest McCaffery, Connor, might also be considering a move to the Bulldogs, which would give him the chance to coach his brothers. While Clark’s reaction to the news is not known, fans are eager to see how the three McCaffery brothers might change the game for the Bulldogs. But then again, Connor has yet to make his final decision.

Có thể là hình ảnh về 2 người và mọi người đang cười

Jennifer Lopez’s daughter, Emme Muñiz, has reportedly expressed a desire to change her last name as part of a personal journey to carve out her own identity separate from her famous family.

Sources close to the family suggest that while Emme deeply respects her mother’s legacy, she feels the need to step out from the immense shadow cast by the Lopez name.

Emme, who has already made a name for herself with her early musical performances and writing endeavors, is said to want a surname that reflects her own path, independent of the public persona tied to her mom’s global fame. The decision, while emotional, is supported by Lopez, who understands her daughter’s desire to create a unique space for herself.

Jeff Teague & Co-Hosts Question Shaquille O’Neal’s Ulterior Motive Amid Rudy Gobert Beef: “You Supposed to Be Embracing”

Shaquille O’Neal and Rudy Gobert’s beef has been simmering for a while, but now it’s boiling over. During an appearance on Complex’s GOAT Talk with his son Myles, Shaq didn’t hold back, calling Gobert the worst player in NBA history. And just like that, Gobert had enough and fired back at the 4x NBA champion. Now, the drama has roped in Jeff Teague and his co-hosts from the Club 520 Podcast, adding more fuel to the fire with their takes on the ongoing feud.

Jeff Teague & Co-Hosts Question Shaquille O'Neal's Ulterior Motive Amid Rudy Gobert Beef: “You Supposed to Be Embracing” - EssentiallySports

American media personality and presenter Joe Budden appeared on the podcast, and the Shaq vs. Gobert topic naturally came up. Co-host DJ Wells didn’t mince words, stating, “He [Shaq] hates him for sure.” Budden chimed in, admitting, “I like what Rudy said to him the other day. I did.” Then Jeff Teague jumped into the mix, pointing out that times have changed and maybe Shaq should, too.

He questioned Shaq’s apparent grudge, saying, “What do you want it to do? You want everybody to make the same money you made forever? Like that means no sacrifice for no reason because nobody gained from it.” Teague’s co-host, Bishop, didn’t hold back either, labeling Shaq as an “old head” and suggesting he should be more welcoming of the new generation. “You supposed to be embracing. You still make way more money than Rudy Gobert,” Bishop added in the podcast, highlighting the disconnect.

Gobert also echoed a similar voice. After Shaquille O’Neal’s harsh comments, the Frenchman took to social media, firing back with a pointed message: “It is sad to see someone that has accomplished as much as you did @SHAQ both in sport and business still be triggered by another man’s finances and accomplishments. I get the entertainment part but unlike other folks, you don’t need that stuff to stay relevant.”

    via Reuters

And while Gobert’s line about “other folks” left room for speculation, many think it’s a subtle jab at none other than Draymond Green, who’s also been critical of Gobert, or perhaps even Gilbert Arenas. So, how did this Shaq-Gobert feud even start?

Shaquille O’Neal’s long beef with Rudy Gobert

Shaquille O’Neal has never been shy about criticizing today’s big men, often claiming he just wants to get under their skin. This beef began back in February 2019 when Gobert broke down in tears during a press conference after being snubbed from the All-Star team. Shaq’s reaction? He mocked the then-Jazz center, telling him to “man up” instead of crying.

Shaq vs. Rudy Gobert beef timeline: How the big men have battled

Then, things really took off when Gobert signed a massive five-year, $205 million contract extension with the Jazz in 2020, the largest ever for a center at the time. Shaq couldn’t resist taking a swipe, sarcastically calling the deal an “inspiration.” He pointed out that Gobert’s stats didn’t scream superstar—averaging under 15 points per game—and suggested to young players that mediocrity could still earn them huge paydays in today’s NBA. But Shaq didn’t stop there.

In April 2021, the Hall of Famer admitted to feeling jealous of Gobert’s huge contract, a rare moment of honesty in their ongoing clash. Fast forward to August 2023, and a video of Gobert casually draining three-pointers at a French national team practice went viral. While he impressed fans, Shaq was anything but.

Instead, he was downright disgusted. O’Neal couldn’t understand why a player of Gobert’s size wasn’t honing his skills in the post, where Shaq believes all true centers belong. To make matters worse, the French national team didn’t even make it out of the group stages at the 2023 FIBA World Cup. For Shaq, it was just another reason to question Gobert’s priorities, and the beef shows no signs of cooling off anytime soon.

Stay tuned for more such updates and join us for the exciting second episode of the “Dual Threat Show” as our host BG12 sits down with Georgia Bulldogs star and Mountain West All-Freshman Team Selection, Asia Avinger.

  • “Not Mad”: Shaq’s Bold Damian Lillard Diss Gets American Rapper’s Backing Months After Bucks Star’s Viral Clap Back

“Not Mad”: Shaq’s Bold Damian Lillard Diss Gets American Rapper’s Backing Months After Bucks Star’s Viral Clap Back

Trash-talking is part and parcel of the NBA world! There are separate fan bases that enjoy on-court banters with special lip-reading experts. However, there are a few stars that take fans’ experiences to another level. There’s no need for an expert, the stars instead produce high-quality rap tracks. We’re talking about Shaquille O’Neal and Damian Lillard beef from 2019. Even though the heat had subsided, retired rapper, Joe Budden, crack opened it again, backing Shaq.

Fortunately, the 44-year-old asked the right bunch of people, and they quickly helped him out. Sitting in the Club520 Podcast, immediately listening to Dame’s best rapper claim, Budden said, “That one I’m not mad at dissing.” Certainly, the rapper aligned with Big Aristotle’s impulsive decision and backed him.

What’s the jazz? A blast from the past: Shaq vs Damian Lillard

As we know, Dr. Diesel went inside the studio after Dame’s claim. While Shaq had already ruled the music world with his rapping skills in the 90s, he still seemed to have got it. Speaking of Shaq’s talent, Joe Budden lauded his ability to compete with the 90s rapper. Nevertheless, back to the subject, the big man had no mercy as he took shots at Dame, trashing his balling ability.

    Lines from Shaq’s Freestyle diss

    Take your time to respond,
    There is no hurry,
    You’ll never be Westbrook,
    Never be Curry.”

    USA Today via Reuters

On the other hand, Damian Lillard wasn’t letting that easily slide. Notably, he has also made himself a reputation as a rapper. Importantly, the Bucks star recently narrated the moment, he learned about the diss. He said, “Somebody was like, ‘Man, Shaq dissed you.’ And they like, sent me like, a link. I clicked on it and he actually did. He actually did diss me. Training camp, I left my house that day and went to the studio.”  In fact, Lillard came up with two back-to-back diss tracks.

Your flexing ain’t really your thing bro.
We both could be working at Kinko’s,
And Kobe won you them rings though.”

Lillard straight away went to question Shaq’s legacy claiming that the big man depended on Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade for his rings. While the duo’s feud has boiled down, will it burst once again? Let us know in the comments.

Before leaving, do watch the Dual Threat Show hosted by BG12 where Bulldogs’ Asia Avinger details her experience with Kobe Bryant, her WNBA ROTY picks, and more in the video below.

The Indiana Fever rookie stepped off the court and into the batting cage on Thursday.

Donning an Indianapolis Indians jersey – the Triple-A minor league baseball affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates – Clark stepped in the cage at the stadium and began hitting off a tee.

She connected with the ball, which went down toward the other end of the cage.

The video of Caitlin Clark hitting a baseball has received over a million views.

Caitlin Clark Shatters New Viewership Record

Caitlin Clark is rewriting the history books during her rookie season in the WNBA.

The Indiana Fever wanted to make some noise in their last game against the reigning champs but failed to do so after losing to the Las Vegas Aces 75-86.

Caitlin Clark was sensational, recording 16 points, three rebounds, and six assists.

A’Ja Wilson, who is gunning for yet another MVP, had 27 points, 12 rebounds, and two assists.

Having those two players in one game reeled in a whopping 678,000 viewers, making it the most-watched WNBA game on NBA TV ever and the most-viewed game on NBA TV in general.

According to Sports Media Watch, the game also surpassed the 2023 Game 5 playoff matchup between the Miami Heat and Milwaukee Bucks.

There is no telling what the views might be tonight as the same two teams are facing off against each other again at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Thanks to Clark and others, the Fever are already back in the playoffs for the first time since the 2016 season.

Since the Olympics break, the Indiana Fever has an 8-3 record.

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: In a surprising turn during a discussion about political preferences, conservative commentator Jason Whitlock veered into a bizarre comparison of Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift’s looks, sparking a fresh wave of controversy.

Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes, recently made headlines when she liked a social media post from former president Donald Trump, outlining his proposed policies.

Meanwhile, pop superstar Taylor Swift, who was spotted alongside Mahomes at the 2024 US Open men’s final, announced this week that she is endorsing Democratic nominee Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.

Jason Whitlock stirs controversy with remarks on Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift

Jason Whitlock focused not just on Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes’ political differences but also on their physical appearances, suggesting that Mahomes’ political leanings somehow highlighted her beauty in comparison to Swift, as per Daily Mail.

“This whole Brittany Mahomes deal, and her liking Trump – it really brought into focus how much better looking Brittany Mahomes is than Taylor Swift,” he stated on his Blaze TV show, in a comment that left many viewers scratching their heads.

Whitlock went even further, likening Mahomes to a former first lady.

“I think Brittany’s beauty is underrated, she’s kind of like Melania Trump… Melania Trump’s been on no magazine covers and we all pretend like Jill Biden and Michelle Obama are Victoria’s Secret models. That’s kind of what Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift is Michelle Obama,” he continued.
WASHINGTON, DC - NOVEMBER 25: U.S. first lady Melania Trump poses for photographs with Conan, the U.Jason Whitlock said Brittany Mahomes’ beauty was underrated, just like Melania Trump’s (Getty Images)
It’s worth noting that Melania Trump, who had a successful career as a model before becoming first lady, has graced the covers of numerous magazines, including British GQ and Vogue.

But the third wife of Trump never had the honor of being featured on the cover of Vogue when she was the first lady, unlike Jill and Michelle.

Internet erupts as Jason Whitlock claims Brittany Mahomes is ‘better looking’ than Taylor Swift

Jason Whitlock stirred a debate on social media by claiming Brittany Mahomes is “better looking” than Taylor Swift. While some users expressed frustration over his comments, others supported Whitlock’s views.

One user  said, “Stop being an a**hole. Why do you need to comment on someone’s looks. Has nothing to do with their political beliefs. And before you come at me. I’m probably a bigger Trump supporter than you. Be better. That’s all.”

Another said, “One of these is not like the others.”

One individual noted, “Keep at it and you will never make any inroads into the future generations!! Swift is not just a pretty face bro! She is a phenomenon! She comes with her own gravity! When she tours the world they see a bump in the world and economy!!!”

A user observed, “Not even close bruh.”

But another said, “Yes she is!” supporting Whitlock’s views.

Another comment read, “Totally onboard with that @WhitlockJason.”

Jason Whitlock slams media for avoiding Brittany Mahomes

This isn’t the first time Jason Whitlock has spoken for Brittany Mahomes.

He previously claimed that television channel, such as NBC deliberately avoided showing Brittany Mahomes during NFL games after her public support for Trump.

“I find it very interesting, I feel like nobody is talking about this,” he remarked.

“I tweeted midway through the third quarter, ‘I can’t believe they’re not going to show her at some point.’”

Whitlock’s grievances extended to the broadcasting crew, suggesting that commentators Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth were reluctant to discuss Mahomes because of her political stance.

“They made her part of the story last year, it’s interesting that now she’s my favorite NFL wife, she’s on Team MAGA, I want to know more about her than I do Taylor Swift, but I got nothing,” he added.

Brittany Mahomes has faced significant backlash for her apparent support of Trump but she hit back at her critics.

She took to her Instagram story, writing, “I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”

On the other hand, Taylor Swift, who endorsed President Joe Biden in the 2020 election, reaffirmed her political position this week by announcing her support for Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 race.
