The officer smelled booze on the pop star’s breath, and police noted he had bloodshot, glassy eyes, according to a police report. Timberlake also had slow speech, was unsteady on his feet and performed poorly on a field sobriety test, according to the criminal complaint.

Timberlake told the arresting officer he had only one drink, the complaint said.

Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney said in a statement Friday, “Mr. Timberlake chose to plead guilty and accept responsibility for driving while his ability was impaired by alcohol. We appreciate his willingness to hold himself accountable for his behavior, and for using his platform to increase public awareness about the dangers of drunk driving. … In 2024, with the prevalence and convenience of public transit and ride-shares, there is no excuse to get behind the wheel when you are impaired in any way.”

“Mr. Timberlake received the same treatment as any other defendant,” Tierney added. “Justice should be applied equally to all individuals, regardless of their wealth or celebrity status.”

The singer is currently on his “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour.” His next concert is Sept. 28 in Newark, New Jersey.

So what is behind her new, perfect posture?

According to one so-called ‘Postural Alignment Specialist’, who goes by Posture Mike on TikTok, Swift, who stands between 5’10 and 5’11, has a ’rounded upper back’, which can cause the head to hang forward, resulting in a hump-like appearence.

Extreme cases of this are known medically as kyphosis, whereby the normal curve in the middle section of vertebral column (the thoracic vertebrae) is more curved than normal.

In a video that’s attracted a million views, Posture Mike explains that this leads to our spine struggling under the weight of our heads — equivalent to a 18kg bowling ball — risking damage to the bones and ligaments in the area.

He goes on to suggest exercises to correct poor posture, including lying on your back with your legs elevated and bent at 90 degrees over a block or stool, while taking big, belly breaths.

 ‘Hold for five minutes to allow gravity to gently improve your head position,’ he said.

 In another clip, US-based physiotherapist Tyler Chong offers movements to correct Swift’s hunched back, including tucking your chin into your neck and then pushing it out again.

‘You should feel the muscles in the back of your neck below your skull turn on,’ he said.

Meanwhile, Swiss-based stretching studio StretchingLausanne shared a clip entitled, ‘how did Taylor Swift fix her posture’? which suggested a number of exercises that Swift may have performed in order to beat the slouch.

This included bending the shoulder blades back to ‘keep them connected’, lifting the upper body while lying stomach-down on a mat, and stretching the back using the ‘cat-cow’ yoga pose.

 Another contributor to the star’s changed posture could be the unique sports bra she was pictured wearing during rehearsals for the Eras tour last year.

The bra, from fitness brand Forme, costs $182 (£137) and is designed to ‘immediately improve your upper body alignment and body foundation,’ according to the Forme website.

The brand claims that the product was designed by an orthopedic surgeon and uses tension fabrics to apply pressure to key areas on your body, encouraging you to keep your shoulders pulled back and down.

In a video that’s amassed 652,000 views on TikTok, physiotherapist Dr Dan Ginader said the bra ‘wasn’t as helpful as you might think’.

‘It’s not strong enough to hold you in that posture,’ he explained. Instead, he said the fabric ‘encourages’ the muscles to sit in a certain position — but they will only remain there if they become stronger.

‘It’s your muscles doing all the work, rather than the fabric,’ he said.

‘It was the amount of work training and strengthening Taylor did in preparation for the tour that did most of the work. The bra was just a gentle coach.’

Asked about immigration during the television debate with Kamala Harris, he said: “They’re eating the dogs, the people that came in, they’re eating the cats.

“They’re eating the pets of the people that live there, and this is what’s happening in our country, and it’s a shame.”

With Kamala Harris shaking her head in disbelief and laughed, he continued: “People are saying their dog was eaten by people.”

David Muir, one of the debate moderators, said that according to the town manager of Springfield, there were no credible reports of animals being eaten.

Another video widely shared online shows police bodycam footage of a woman being arrested and accused of eating a cat.

The image of the man carrying geese was taken in Columbus, Ohio, and there is no evidence he is Haitian. The social media user who first posted the image told the Daily Dot website that he was outraged that “Right-wingers including Ohio’s Republican senator will take a random picture from the internet and use it as a weapon to further their agenda”.

The woman in the arrest video was born in the US, not Haiti, and was arrested in Canton, 172 miles from Springfield, the Daily Dot reported.

Police in the city also issued a statement denying the claims. “There have been no credible reports or specific claims of pets being harmed, injured or abused by individuals within the immigrant community.”

The Trump rapid response team stood by the claim, citing a report in The Federalist, a conservative online magazine.

It quoted a report made to a police dispatcher in which a member of the public claimed to have seen four Haitian migrants each carrying a goose.

Taylor Swift’s mom Andrea Swift is showing her support for both her daughter and boyfriend Travis Kelce as he takes on the Cincinnati Bengals.

On Sunday, Sept. 15, just before the Chiefs took on the Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium, the “Fortnight” singer, 34, and her mom, 66, were spotted arriving at the game to cheer on the tight end. After photographers and fans snapped photos of the mother-daughter duo arriving on a golf cart to the field, one detail on Andrea’s outfit stood out as a custom nod to Kelce and her daughter.

Some eagle-eyed fans noticed that Andrea was wearing a pin on her button-down Chiefs-branded shirt that read: “in my 87 era,” referring to Kelce’s jersey number and referencing Swift’s multi-billion dollar Eras Tour.

Earlier on Sunday, Swift could be seen arriving to Arrowhead Stadium in a video captured by CBSwith Haim band members (and sisters) Danielle and Este Haim walking alongside her, also sporting red outfits to support the Kansas City team. Este’s boyfriend, tech entrepreneur Jonathan Levin, also joined Swift’s crew.

Swift showed her own support for the Chiefs and Kelce with her look, an oversized vintage 90s Chiefs t-shirt as a dress, and her drink.

One fan captured video of the Tortured Poets Department musician sipping from a custom cup labeled with Kelce’s number, and another video showed the singer and her brother Austin Swift celebrating and jumping up and down together after the Chiefs successfully secured a touchdown. Yet another video showed the singer seemingly shaking her head and saying “unbelievable” after the Bengals scored a touchdown.

The 14-time Grammy winner has become a fixture at the Chiefs games since the start of her relationship with Kelce, 34, began nearly one year ago.

Swift previously attended the NFL 2024 season-opening game on Sept. 5, hanging out with her boyfriend’s parents Ed and Donna Kelce as the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens. She joined Kelce and his teammates to celebrate their win at the Kansas City bar Prime Social that night following the game, with a source telling PEOPLE that “everyone partied hard.”

“A good time was definitely had,” the insider said, adding, “Travis and Taylor both let loose.”

The couple were also spotted out and about in New York City for following last weekend’s game. They grabbed dinner at Lucali in Brooklyn, attended the wedding of model Karen Elson and Electric Lady Studios owner Lee Foster.

Swift and Kelce also spent time with their friends and the tight end’s teammate Patrick and Brittany Mahomes at the the men’s final of the US Open.

In Swift’s new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” she apparently takes aim at Kardashian in a pair of songs: “Cassandra” and “thanK you aIMee.” The latter’s title features Kardashian’s first name in capital letters. Then, in the song’s lyrics, Swift throws more shade at Kardashian.

“I don’t think you’ve changed much and so I changed your name and any real defining clues; And one day, your kid comes home singin’ a song that only us two is gonna know is about you,” Swift said in an apparent reference to the daughter of Kardashian and Ye (formerly Kanye West), North West. Early last year, North West posted a TikTok featuring Kardashian, with the two dancing to “Shake It Off,” from 2014’s “1989.”

Three days later, the rumored “Aimee” herself did her first televised interview since “TTPD’s” releasewith Jimmy Kimmel but didn’t address Swift’s lyrics. The “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” host instead had Kardashian – who said “life is good” – confirm or deny online claims about her.

We now know the martini Timberlake was drinking the night of his arrest for driving while intoxicated is “equivalent to a double of just about any other cocktail.”

After Justin Timberlake was arrested for allegedly drunk driving in the Hamptons early Tuesday, the pop star told cops he had just “one martini.” Earlier that night, the ex-NSYNC vocalist met friends at celebrity hotspot the American Hotel in Sag Harbor.

Now, The Daily Beast has been able to confirm with sources who have knowledge about the night of his arrest that Timberlake enjoyed a Vesper martini from the hotel’s cocktail menu, which also includes an Aperol spritz and Hemingway daiquiri.

“It’s all alcohol,” the insider said. “There is no mixer.”

The Vesper—invented by author Ian Fleming for his fictional James Bond and named after sultry double-agent Vesper Lynd—is made of a wine-based aperitif Lillet Blanc, Tanqueray gin, and Grey Goose vodka, shaken over ice.

As cocktail blogger Moody Mixologist notes, the drink “is not for the faint of heart” as the original recipe can contain a “whopping 4 ounces of liquor.”

“It’s safe to say that the level of alcohol in this martini is equivalent to a double of just about any other cocktail,” the blog says, “so please keep that in mind when mixing one up.”

How much alcohol Timberlake, 43, consumed that night is unclear, but authorities say he refused a breathalyzer test three times.

The “Cry Me A River” singer is charged with driving while intoxicated and was released without bail on Tuesday. He pleaded not guilty.

His lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., told Us Weekly, “The charge was a single count because he refused the breath test. Mr. Timberlake was also charged with two other court citations, running a stop sign and not traveling in the correct traffic lane.”

Police say Timberlake was pulled over in his 2025 BMW at 12:37 a.m. for failing to heed a stop sign and “maintain his lane of travel.” He appeared intoxicated, his breath smelled strongly of alcohol, and he had bloodshot, glassy eyes, according to a criminal complaint, which also states he didn’t pass field sobriety tests.

One insider told Page Six that the arresting officer “was so young that he didn’t even know” who Timberlake was.

Timberlake, who is in the middle of his “The Forget Tomorrow World Tour,” told police he was following his friends home. The Grammy winner’s next court date is scheduled for July 26.

On Wednesday, Burke’s office said the prominent lawyer “looks forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations.”

“He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time,” they said. “He is currently awaiting full discovery from the DA’s office.”

One witness told the New York Post that Timberlake appeared “wasted” at the hotel bar and even snatched another patron’s drink when he went to the restroom. When the man returned, the Post reports, the songwriter was downing his beverage.

The observer recalled: “The guy goes, ‘Justin, that’s my drink!’”

Meanwhile, the American Hotel’s owner says Timberlake is welcome back anytime. Ted Conklin told TMZ the former boy-band heartthrob was a “great guest and a nice guy” and insisted that he was not over-served at the establishment.

The singer finally admitted in court that he had more than “one martini” before his DWI arrest.

Justin Timberlake says don’t drink and drive.

The star, who initially claimed he’d only had “one martini” after he was pulled over back in June, admitted in court Friday that he had been drinking and was impaired at the time authorities arrested him behind the wheel in Sag Harbor, per TMZ. He pleaded guilty to impaired driving.

He allegedly told the cops at the time, “I had one martini and I followed my friends home,” as described in the complaint against him, which also noted that he was unsteady and couldn’t focus on speaking with officers while looking for his car registration.

Addressing the press just after his hearing Friday, Timberlake said, “I try to hold myself to a very high standard for myself and this was not that.” He then seemed to hold back tears as he said, “I found myself in a position where I could have made a different decision.” He added, “Even if you’ve had one drink, don’t get behind the wheel of a car.”

As part of his penance, Timberlake will pay a maximum fine of $500, complete 25-40 hours of community service, and make a public service announcement, likely to raise awareness around drunk driving. His New York license is suspended, as is the legal repercussion for refusing a breathalyzer as he did following the arrest.
