While it’s clear that Jon has plenty of talents in the arts, he also has a heart of gold. In 2006, he founded The Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, which focuses its efforts on the issues of hunger and homelessness in the United States. Jon has also shown to have a genuine love for sports and was even the former majority owner of the Arena Football League team, the Philadelphia Soul. He also almost had partial ownership of the NFL team, the Buffalo Bills.

However, Jon’s love life is yet another reason to adore this star. During a stop in Los Angeles on the Bon Jovi’ The New Jersey Syndicate Tour in 1989, Jon secretly skirted away to Las Vegas with his high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley. There, the two eloped and haven’t looked back since.

This celebrity match made in heaven was heavily criticized over 30 years ago, though, when they first said vows. Fortunately, they’ve stayed together through it all. Jon has never regretted eloping with his wonderful wife, and the pair have been together for nearly 33 years.

From eloping to Las Vegas on April 29, 1989, to launching a charitable foundation together, Jon and his wife Dorothea have defeated the odds stacked against them. Starting as high school sweethearts and then when Bon Jovi was launched into incredible success, Jon wanted to marry Dorothea spur of the moment, according to Men’s Health.

Married at the hands of an Elvis impersonator at the Graceland Wedding Chapel, the couple is still going strong and more in love than ever 32 years later. “We make it work,” Dorothea told PEOPLE.

However, not everyone was as thrilled about their lifelong commitment. Jon was finding great success in his career, but getting married made fans feel less connected to him as the desirable musician was suddenly completely unavailable. “When I came back from Vegas my manager was furious,” Jon said. “He was like, ‘America’s boy is now married… that’s not a good career move.’ The record company was also desponded.’”

Still, Jon has never regretted his decision to marry his high school sweetheart. “Looking back on it, the marriage was the greatest deal I ever made,” he said.

Fortunately, Bon Jovi continued to find great success together, and Jon also continued to make his mark in his solo endeavors. Even though Jon has tons of female fans swooning over him, it doesn’t seem to bother Dorothea.

“I think it’s great they love the music,” she said. “They love the band and are so loyal. Dorothea typically attends Bon Jovi concerts. “I usually stand on the side (during his concerts and watch,” she told PEOPLE. “The songs all sound great, but then you hear them live!”

The couple has a beautiful life together. They have four children: one daughter named Stephanie and three sons named Jesse, Jacob, and Romeo. On top of that, Jon and his wife also run various charitable organizations. According to TODAY, the couple works together at their two Soul Kitchen restaurants, which help provide hot meals to those in need, and The Jon Bon Jovi Foundation, which focuses on affordable housing.

So, how do Jon and Dorothea juggle Jon’s busy career, their outstanding foundation, and raising four kids? According to TODAY, in Jon’s eyes, Dorothea is the reason their marriage is so successful.

“She’s the glue,” he said. “I’m the crazy visionary with all kinds of things flying, and the seams are splitting. She’s the one following me with the glue and the thread and needle, keeping it all together.” Jon also credited Dorothea as the brain behind the Soul Kitchen and the charities’ success. “My wife does all the work and I get all the credit,” he joked.

Through all of the ups and downs along the way, Jon and Dorothea have faithfully stood by each other’s side. “I don’t have a mistress on the side of another family across town,” Jon said. “You’re never going to read that story about me. I have no regard for that whole lifestyle.”

Nowadays, the couple is the perfect epitome of what a happy and successful marriage in Hollywood looks like and is going strong. “Somehow, I became the poster boy for a long married rock star,” Jon said. “But I’ll accept the mantle because I’m so happy.”

Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce threw the Eras-themed party, which was attended by his Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes, who have formed a close friendship with the pop icon.

In a post from the party, Clyde Edwards-Helaire’s wife Jo-Jo revealed that Travis was the mastermind behind it all, writing, “It was, a congratulations party. And a surprise from Trav.”

Kelce’s close pal Ross Travis posted photos from the party, writing on Instagram, “Epic night for an Epic run! 🕺🏽🪩”

For the fun shindig, Trav opted for a black tuxedo — the same look he wore onstage with Taylor in London — and Tay wore a black halter-neck dress from Balmain.

Brittany wore a silver shimmering dress and boots in honor of Taylor’s “Fearless” era. She posted a series of pics, writing, “My people.”

Earlier this month, Taylor performed her final show of the tour at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver.

Travis gave a shout-out to Taylor on his “New Heights” podcast with brother Jason.

He said, “Shout-out to Tay, and the unbelievable Eras tour has finally come to an end.”

Along with pointing out that more than “10 million people” came to the shows, Kelce added, “Shout-out to everybody that was a part of that show. Obviously, it’s her music, her tour and everything, but that was a full production, man. That thing was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people, but mostly because of Taylor.”

The tour grossed over $2 billion over the past two years.

Swift’s endorsement of Harris came after former President Trump and Harris participated in a debate on Tuesday night hosted by ABC News.

Swift said on Instagram that she will be supporting Harris because “she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”

“I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice. Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make. I also want to say, especially to first time voters: Remember that in order to vote, you have to be registered!” Swift wrote to her 283 million followers. “I also find it’s much easier to vote early. Swift’s reference to cat ladies was a swipe at comments made by Trump’s running mate JD Vance, who said during a 2021 interview: “We are effectively run in this country, via the Democrats, via our corporate oligarchs, by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and the choices that they’ve made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.”

Musk has 12 children with different women over the past three decades, according to CBS News.

As the executor of O.J. Simpson’s estate, Malcolm LaVergne sells Simpson’s assets to pay off leftover debts. The SKIMS founder, 44, reached out to offer $15,000 for a bible inscribed by her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., but LaVergne tells PEOPLE he denied Kim’s request because the item was already under contract with the court to be auctioned off.

“The amount is why I had no choice, because why would I spend $15,000 of estate money — why would I spend $15,000 in attorney’s fees — to sell it to Kim for $15,000?” LaVergne explains. “That’s a zero-sum game. That’s a bad business model. If Kim had offered $150,000 for it, we would’ve been in court getting this approved outside of the auction.”

“Kim can bid on it online,” he adds of the item, which currently has a leading $9,800 bid. “She may even get it cheaper than the 15 grand, so who knows.”

In addition to the sentimental value the bible holds for the Kardashians, LaVergne points out that Robert Sr.’s handwritten note was dated June 18, 1994 — the day after Simpson was arrested and charged with murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman.

“O.J., this book will help,” Robert Sr. wrote in the note. “God loves and he will speak to you with his words. Read this book everyday. God has a definite plan for your life. You are his child and he will use you again. I love you and God loves you.”

Matthew McConaughey’s mum said one word that made him and Woody Harrelson realise they could be brothers

Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson are easily two very recognisable faces in Hollywood, but they’re also two of the most easily mistaken.

I mean, the two celebrities look so similar it’s uncanny and it doesn’t exactly help that they’ve formed such a close friendship and often appear together both on and off-screen.

And maybe it doesn’t just stop at a bromance as McConaughey’s mum said one word to Harrelson that made them realise they could actually be brothers.

With plenty of conspiracy theories from fans and comments like this being made, Harrelson recently said the pair are probably going to take a DNA test to set the record straight.

The pair met for the first time back in 1999 when they starred in comedy film EDtv, but it does seem like their connection could go way back.

That all comes down to a conversation between the pair while they were on holiday in Greece with family, including McConaughey’s mum, Mary Kathleen ‘Kay’ McConaughey.

During that trip, McConaughey said she mentioned one word that made things seem deeper than they could’ve imagined.

“In Greece a few years ago, we’re sitting around talking about how close we are and our families,” the 54-year-old said on the Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast.

“And my mom is there, and she says, ‘Woody, I knew your dad’. Everyone was aware of the ellipses that my mom left after ‘knew’.

“It was a loaded K-N-E-W.”

He also said: “And that’s part of our bromance, right? My kids call him Uncle Woody. His kids call me Uncle Matthew etc etc. And you see pictures of us and my family thinks a lot of pictures of him are me. His family thinks a lot of pictures of me are him.”

The Interstellar actor said the two film stars went on to ‘unpack what this ‘knew’ meant and did some math’.

They found out Harrelson’s dad had been on furlough at the same time McConaughey’s mum and dad were in their second divorce (they literally got married three times).

Harrelson said: “The year of [McConaughey’s] birth, nine months before, she was on a sabbatical from her relationship with his supposed father, Jim.”

“Then there’s possible receipts and places out in West Texas where there might have been a gathering, or a meeting, or a ‘knew’ moment,” McConaughey added.

While the pair have previously edged away from doing DNA tests due to McConaughey being uneasy at the idea of finding out his dad wasn’t his biological father, it’s starting to seem possible.

“Well, we haven’t done the DNA test, but we’re probably going to do that. I think there’s a real possibility,” Harrelson told Johnny Vaughan on Radio X.

He also spoke of the ‘troubling’ ellipses of Mary’s ‘knew’ in Greece as he added: “Yeah, it sounds like something went on. And the thing was Matthew’s mom and dad divorced. They were married three times.

“Yeah. So, they’d split for a while, and during one of those splits, Charles Harrelson just seemed to find a little favour with her.”
