  • Too Late for Caitlin Clark’s Unrivaled Callup as Fever Star Drops 4-Word Message on Teammate’s Miami Preparation

Too Late for Caitlin Clark’s Unrivaled Callup as Fever Star Drops 4-Word Message on Teammate’s Miami Preparation

Finally, we are at the door of January 2025! This also means the inaugural season of the highly anticipated 3-on-3 basketball league featuring some of the best players in women’s basketball. With lucrative packages and an opportunity for players to stay closer to home instead of competing overseas, the excitement is undeniable. No doubt it’s going to be equally competitive, and players are already hitting their practice sessions. First, it was Angel Reese, but now there’s another star from an opposing team firing up the preparation.

It’s Aliyah Boston. To hit the charts high in the league co-founded by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, the Indiana Fever’s sensation is leaving no stone unturned. Recently, the Fever posted a video of the 23-year-old star putting in work during the offseason.

“On the offseason grind with @aliyah.boston at Worcester Academy 🔥,” read the caption. The moves and grooves by the 2023 Rookie of the Year were definitely a glimpse of her commitment. It’s no surprise that Boston is on the roster—her talent and work ethic speak volumes.

As the Fever’s social media showcased her grind at Worcester Academy, the video quickly caught Caitlin Clark’s attention. “Got me fired up,” added the 22-year-old Iowa native. Her four-word comment on Instagram has fans wondering: Is Clark feeling some serious FOMO about not joining the inaugural season of the Unrivaled 3×3 basketball league?

Raucous crowd roars its approval for Caitlin Clark in her home debut with Fever, an 83-80 win | Iowa | kimt.com

Though she wasn’t the only Fever player hyped about Boston’s workout, Lexie Hull also chimed in with an enthusiastic “Yes ma’am.” It’s clear the Fever roster is more than teammates—they’re a squad of mutual motivators.

Clark and Boston have already formed a dynamic duo in Indiana.

Boston’s second All-Star season showcased her all-around game, averaging 14.0 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 3.2 assists. Meanwhile, Clark stormed the league with 19.2 points, 8.4 (league-high) assists, and 5.7 rebounds per game. And, let’s not forget—playing alongside a generational talent like Caitlin Clark is no easy feat!

Together, they’ve brought new energy to the Fever, turning them into one of the WNBA’s most exciting teams. Not just that, off the court too, their bond is just as compelling. Whether it’s hyping each other up on social media or dominating together on the hardwood, these two are redefining what it means to be teammates.

While Boston is gearing up for Unrivaled, Clark’s comment hints at her own itch to hit the court. Even the President of Unrivaled, Alex Bazzel, asserted that Clark will always have a roster spot. But, fans of the Fever star know she opted out of the league’s debut season despite being one of its top targets.

And, Bazell too confirmed that she wouldn’t be playing in the league for its debut season but hopefully would do so in the future. After a relentless stretch of basketball—dominating her final year at Iowa, dazzling in her rookie WNBA season, and earning Rookie of the Year honors—Caitlin Clark chose to prioritize rest and recovery.

But seeing her teammate’s preparation might be stirring up some second thoughts. The allure of competing alongside the best in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment like Unrivaled is hard to resist. And let’s not forget: Clark thrives in the spotlight, and Unrivaled is poised to bring plenty of it.

  • Indiana Fever’s Latest Post Got Caitlin Clark ‘Fired Up’

Indiana Fever’s Latest Post Got Caitlin Clark ‘Fired Up’

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is still enjoying the WNBA offseason. While she’s not forgetting her workouts and improving her game, she’s also making sure to get some much-needed downtime.

More recently, Clark has been spotted multiple times watching college basketball, NBA and G League games with her boyfriend Connor McCaffery. Clearly, she’s making the most of her first offseason.

On Monday, however, Clark got fired up and it appears she’s now more excited than ever to get the new WNBA season started. It comes after the Fever posted a video of Aliyah Boston’s latest workout.

In the clip the Fever shared on Instagram, Boston can be seen working on her offensive game, doing shooting drills and some low-post action.

Clark commented on the video and said, “GOT ME FIRED UP.”

It’s not only Caitlin Clark who was hyped to see Aliyah Boston’s offseason work. Their fellow Fever teammate Lexie Hull also reacted and wrote, “Yes ma’am.”

Several other fans showed their excitement in the comment section, with one fan even saying, “She legit can be MVP this year.”

“Special player, special person!” another commenter shared.

“The league not ready for year 2 CC and year 3 AB,” a third supporter added.

A follower further stated, “Looking forward to coming season! Thank you for a great season! Next one even better.”

The Fever made the playoffs for the first time since 2016 in Clark’s first year in the WNBA. Sure enough, though, Clark wasn’t the only reason for their rise. Both Boston and Kelsey Mitchell played significant roles for Indiana as well to bring the team back to relevance.

That being said, it’s definitely intriguing to see how Clark, Boston and the rest of the Fever follow up the big year they had.

Caitlin Clark’s Wilson Basketball Spotted by Fan, With One Minor Mistake

Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark is undoubtedly the biggest brand ambassador of Wilson basketball today. That being said, one would expect the popular sporting goods brand to be perfect when it comes to promoting her.

Unfortunately, Wilson recently committed a rather common mistake when it comes to Clark, which was spotted in its flagship store in New York.

While selling a couple of items from Clark’s basketball series with the brand — the Caitlin Clark Ascent and Caitlin Clark Repetition basketball products — the store displayed a white paper sheet showing the prices of the products. On it, the Fever guard’s name was spelled incorrectly.

Instead of “Caitlin,” her name was written as “Caitlyn.”

As mentioned, it’s a common mistake among fans and followers, with many supporters online often spelling “Caitlin” with a “Y” instead of the last “I,” so an understandable mistake for sure!

It was seen in the New York City flagship store, located at 594 Broadway in SoHo.

As for Clark, she is currently in the middle of what has been an incredible offseason, which has seen her get multiple recognitions such as TIME Athlete of the Year, Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year and Sports Business Journal Best Sports Business Athlete.

  • Angel Reese Recalls ‘Broke’ Phase Before WNBA Stint

Angel Reese Recalls ‘Broke’ Phase Before WNBA Stint

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese reflected on her life before joining the WNBA.

On social media, the 22-year-old gave a glimpse into her life, sharing her journey as an aspiring basketball player and the hustle it took to make ends meet.

In her Instagram Stories, Reese reposted a video from 2019 where she worked at the restaurant chain, Smashburger.

As the WNBA star looked back and described the experience as her “humble beginnings,” she revealed how she used to struggle to balance practice and work.

“I used to be broke, clocking in for work then going to practice, Smashburger days, IYKTYK. Sometimes I used to literally work from 10 AM to 10 PM,” she wrote.

Before becoming a standout for the Chicago Sky, Reese made a name for herself in college basketball. She first represented Maryland before transferring to LSU two years later.

There, she was named the Most Outstanding Player (MOP) for women’s basketball of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

Following her success, the 6-foot-3 Baltimore native quickly became one of the highest-earning student-athletes of the NIL era.

According to Vogue, Reese secured lucrative deals with major brands such as Beats by Dre, Amazon, Goldman Sachs and more.

Now, following her impressive first year with the  Sky, the WNBA star continues to make waves both on and off the court.

Interestingly, Reebok has extended its multi-year partnership with Reese and plans to release a signature sneaker in 2026.

Apart from that, she has also signed a multi-deal agreement with the $34 billion Reese’s chocolate brand for the release of Reese’s Puffs cereal and their apparel line, the Angel x Reese’s Pieces Logo Collection.

WNBA Champion Slams Former NBA All-Star Over Video About Angel Reese

Many are eager to see Chicago Sky star Angel Reese back in action after injuring her wrist in the final stretch of her rookie year in the WNBA.

While the new season won’t start until May, Reese will suit up in the inaugural season of the Unrivaled 3-on-3 league in January. She will play for Rose BC with Chelsea Gray and Lexie Hull, among others.

The 22-year-old Reese helped the WNBA reach unprecedented heights this season with her popularity and charm, making her one of the most recognized players.

But despite their contributions, some have continued to spew negative remarks about her. In an episode of the “Club 520” podcast hosted by former NBA guard Jeff Teague, guest and influencer Charleston White made lewd comments about Reese, including starting an account on a popular adult site.

It didn’t sit well with Las Vegas Aces guard Sydney Colson, who called out Teague and his co-hosts for still putting out the episode despite the insulting comments of White.

Warning: The linked video contains language some readers may find offensive

“Having an ignorant (expletive) sexist on and then actually dropping the episode and then wanting to collab with the W is craaazy work lmao,” wrote Colson on X.

The two-time WNBA champion’s post earned support from fans. Some called the episode “disgusting” and Teague, a one-time NBA All-Star, an “idiot.”

“Cook those frauds for me, Syd,” added one fan.

The WNBA and its players have repeatedly called out the sexist, racist and misogynistic remarks thrown at them.

In an episode of Reese’s “Unapologetically Angel” podcast in October, NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal made suggestive remarks toward the Sky forward.

Despite the heavy backlash, O’Neal didn’t apologize and even claimed that “everything I do is planned.”

Riley Gaines criticized Brittney Griner for kneeling during the National Anthem, saying, “You don’t have to sing, but you should show respect for the country that pulled you out of the abyss.”

Riley Gaines Criticizes Brittney Griner Over National Anthem Protest: “Show Respect for the Country That Saved You”

Riley Gaines, a former collegiate swimmer and vocal advocate for fairness in sports, has taken aim at WNBA star Brittney Griner over her decision to kneel during the national anthem. Gaines, known for her strong stance on patriotism and sports ethics, did not hold back in her criticism, stating, “You don’t have to sing, but you should show respect for the country that pulled you from the fire.”

Gaines’ remarks come in the wake of Griner’s continued protest during the national anthem, a gesture the basketball star has used to bring attention to social justice issues. However, Gaines’ pointed comment alludes to Griner’s harrowing detainment in Russia last year, where she was imprisoned for months on drug-related charges. Her release was secured through a high-profile prisoner exchange negotiated by the U.S. government, a move that drew both praise and controversy.

For Gaines, Griner’s actions during the anthem are seen as a contradiction, given the efforts made by the United States to bring her home. “It’s not about agreeing with everything this country does,” Gaines elaborated in a recent interview. “It’s about acknowledging the sacrifices and the freedoms that allow us to express ourselves in the first place.”

Griner, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and prominent advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, has often used her platform to address systemic inequality and social justice. Her decision to kneel during the anthem is a continuation of this advocacy, aligning her with other athletes who have taken similar stances in recent years. However, this act has also made her a polarizing figure, particularly among those who view it as disrespectful to the nation and its values.

The debate surrounding Griner’s protest reflects a broader cultural divide in America. Supporters argue that kneeling during the anthem is a peaceful and powerful form of protest, a way to spotlight ongoing issues of inequality and injustice. Critics, like Gaines, see it as a failure to honor the sacrifices of those who fought for the freedoms Americans enjoy today.

While Griner has not directly responded to Gaines’ criticism, her stance on the anthem has remained consistent. In previous interviews, she has emphasized that her protests are not meant to disrespect the military or the nation but to advocate for meaningful change.

As this debate continues to unfold, it highlights the complexities of patriotism, activism, and the role of athletes in addressing societal issues. Whether one agrees with Griner’s actions or Gaines’ critique, the conversation underscores the enduring tension between individual expression and collective national identity.

The “Laguna Beach” alum confessed that the “Cowgirls” singer is a “great f–k buddy” while divulging details from her dating life to Bunnie Xo on the “Dumb Blonde” podcast.

“Quite honestly, I was like, ‘I kind of just want a f–k buddy in Nashville,’” Cavallari said in a clip from the episode, to which Bunnie replied, “Morgan seems to be the guy that wants to step up to the plate to be people’s f–k buddy.”

“He’s a great f–k buddy,” the former “Hills” star playfully confirmed.

It’s been a long time coming.

Taylor Swift showed off another new addition to her growing designer watch collection Saturday when she attended friend Ashley Avignone’s birthday party in New York City.

Swift, 35, sparkled from head to toe, flashing a diamond-encrusted Panthère de Cartier watch worth a whopping $32,200 in photos Avignone, 40, posted on Instagram Sunday.

The new timepiece wasn’t the only piece of diamond jewelry that the “Bejeweled” singer wore; she also sparkled in the $36,000 DeBeers earrings she’s been wearing on repeat lately and a Tiffany & Co. ring ($2,675) she’s worn on stage.

The pop star arrived at exclusive members club Chez Margaux in the Meatpacking District with boyfriend Travis Kelce, who brought holiday cheer in a waxed denim red jacket ($980) and pants ($690) set by Nahmias.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, also 35, also wore a Saint Michael T-shirt, a Nahimas trucker hat ($250), Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses ($975) and black Louis Vuitton x Timberland boots ($2,850).

On Nov. 10, she attended the Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos game in a Versace skirt suit, finishing the very business-like look with a $54,000 Louis Vuitton gold watch with a round face.

And just a few days later, she wore the same timepiece for a girls’ night out in NYC.

It’s quite unusual to see Swift with the accessory — however, the clock motif was at the center of her “Midnights” album era, and she caused a frenzy in February at the 2024 Grammys when she wore a Lorraine Schwartz custom-made vintage watch as a choker necklace.

That night, Swift announced her 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” and later frightened fans when she brought back the diamond-covered accessory in June while out with famous pals in London.

While Swifties are still left scratching their heads about the meaning of her ticking necklace, it could be that Kelce is the one growing his girlfriend’s appreciation for watches.

The Super Bowl champ is known for his affinity for Rolexes, reportedly gifting an engraved version to BFF and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes for his birthday in October. The tight end also owns multiple styles of the Swiss brand’s watches himself.

  • At 79, Tom Selleck FINALLY Confirm The Rumors

At 79, Tom Selleck FINALLY Confirm The Rumors

Tom Selleck: The Man Behind the Mustache

Tom Selleck, a name synonymous with the iconic role of Thomas Magnum in Magnum P.I., has captivated audiences for decades with his charm, acting prowess, and unmistakable mustache. However, beyond the glitz of Hollywood, Selleck is a man of principle, who values family and privacy over fame. His journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of the most beloved figures in television history is a tale of dedication, professionalism, and tough choices that reshaped his career and the entertainment industry itself.

At 79, Tom Selleck FINALLY Confirm The Rumors - YouTube

Born on January 29, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, Tom Selleck was raised in a working-class family. His father, Robert, was a real estate executive, while his mother, Martha, was a homemaker. The Selleck family moved to Los Angeles when Tom was just four years old, seeking a better life. It was here that Tom’s future began to take shape in unexpected ways. During his years at Grant High School in the San Fernando Valley, Selleck distinguished himself as an outstanding basketball player, earning a scholarship to the University of Southern California (USC). Initially, Tom pursued business studies, but an unexpected suggestion from a teacher to try acting would change the course of his life forever.

Although acting was initially a mere experiment for Selleck, it quickly became his passion. He abandoned the stable future in business to take on small roles in television and commercials, including a memorable appearance on The Dating Game. His good looks and charismatic presence caught the eye of many, but success did not come quickly. Through the 1970s, Selleck appeared in a variety of TV series like The Rockford Files and Charlie’s Angels. These roles, though minor, taught him essential lessons in patience and perseverance, shaping him for the break that would come in 1980.

That break came with Magnum P.I., where Selleck was cast as the suave and charismatic private investigator, Thomas Magnum. The show, with its Hawaiian shirts, fast cars, and Selleck’s famous mustache, became a cultural phenomenon, propelling him to international stardom. Magnum P.I. not only earned Selleck an Emmy award but also made him a household name, symbolizing the height of ’80s television entertainment. His portrayal of Magnum captured the perfect blend of humor, charm, and depth, making him one of the most beloved characters of the era.

Tom Selleck, 79, Hints at Next Project After 'Blue Bloods' Season 14: 'I'm Going to Keep Working'

While Magnum P.I. cemented his status as a television legend, it also placed Selleck at the center of numerous rumors, particularly about his personal life. As a private person, Selleck did not divulge much about his relationships, fueling speculation. One of the most sensational rumors of the 1980s claimed that he was gay, based largely on his lack of public relationships. Selleck, however, refuted such rumors, stating that his private life was not something to be discussed in the public arena. Despite denying these rumors, he expressed support for the LGBTQ+ community, which was progressive for the time.

Another piece of gossip that circulated during this period concerned Selleck’s alleged rejection of the iconic role of Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Contrary to popular belief, Selleck did not turn down the part but was forced to pass on it due to his contract with Magnum P.I.. The scheduling conflict prevented him from taking on the role, much to his regret. In interviews, he admitted that it was one of the most difficult decisions of his career. However, he acknowledged that honoring his commitment to Magnum P.I. was important to him, even if it meant missing out on an iconic role that would later launch Harrison Ford to superstardom.

Despite the setback in Hollywood, Selleck’s career continued to flourish in television and film. He starred in movies like Quigley Down Under and Three Men and a Baby, both of which were well-received, but his career in movies never reached the same heights as Ford’s Indiana Jones. However, Selleck has always maintained that everything happens for a reason. His decision to remain loyal to Magnum P.I. and his belief that his career path unfolded as it was meant to, reflects his steadfast sense of purpose and contentment with his accomplishments.

As he grew older, rumors of his health and retirement began to swirl, particularly as fans noticed a slower pace in his role on Blue Bloods. Some speculated that Selleck was battling a serious illness, but he was quick to dismiss these concerns, explaining that aging naturally comes with its challenges. He made it clear that he still enjoyed his work and planned to continue acting for as long as he could.

Why Tom Selleck's Family Is Reportedly 'Concerned' About Him - PopCulture.com

Selleck’s personal life is one of simplicity and stability. In 1987, he married Julie Mack, a dancer he met during a performance in London. Their marriage, which has lasted over three decades, has been characterized by their shared desire for privacy and their retreat from the public eye. Together, they raised a daughter, Hannah, who pursued a career in equestrianism rather than follow her father’s footsteps into Hollywood. Selleck has spoken with pride about his daughter’s independence and success in the equestrian world, and he has always been a strong advocate for family values.

Throughout his career, Tom Selleck has prioritized authenticity over fame. While many actors seek out the limelight, Selleck has deliberately chosen a life of discretion. He stepped back from the constant rush of Hollywood events, instead focusing on his family, his ranch in California, and his personal interests. He often speaks about the importance of being grounded and appreciating the simpler moments in life, far from the distractions of stardom.

Tom Selleck’s legacy is not just defined by his roles in television and film but by the values he has embodied throughout his life. He is a man who chose family over fame, integrity over gossip, and loyalty over ambition. His career may have taken a different course if not for some of the tough decisions he made, but it is clear that his life and career are a testament to his steadfast character, making him a role model for fans and a true icon of Hollywood’s golden age.
