Antetokounmpo, who had been sidelined for the previous three games with a non-COVID illness, took charge in the second half as the Bucks trailed 83-64 in the third quarter. Brook Lopez contributed 16 points for Milwaukee, Khris Middleton chipped in with 15 points, while Bobby Portis and Gary Trent Jr. each added 14.

Damian Lillard contributed only nine points but gave the Bucks the lead for good with a 3-pointer, putting them ahead 107-104 with 5:17 left.

Benedict Mathurin led the Pacers with 25 points, while Pascal Siakam added 20. Tyrese Haliburton, who finished with 12 points, struggled with his shooting, making just 3 of his 13 attempts.

The first half was a struggle on offense. The Bucks had significant shooting woes, while Indiana dealt with turnover problems. The Pacers closed the second quarter with a run, taking a 64-53 lead into halftime. Milwaukee made just 4 of 20 from beyond the arc in the half.

In the third quarter, Indiana pushed their lead to 19 points with a 19-11 run. But then, they went scoreless for over four minutes, giving Milwaukee the chance to fight back into the game.

Just when it seemed the Bucks were headed for a third consecutive loss, they launched a 12-0 run, trimming a large deficit to three points as the final quarter began.

The Bucks evened the score at 99 with 7:22 remaining, as Antetokounmpo found his rhythm after a sluggish start. The game remained tight until Milwaukee surged ahead at 107-104, marking their first lead since the opening quarter.

Giannis Antetokounmpo sealed the win with a jumper and a free throw. He tallied 26 of his 30 points in the second half, including 13 in the fourth quarter.

Milwaukee went up 2-0 against Indiana this season, with two more games scheduled between the division rivals.

The 22-year-old has been spotted rooting for teams from the front row. Just this week, Reese was spotted at the Kia Center in Florida where the Orlando Magic triumphed with a 108-104 victory against the reigning NBA champs, the Boston Celtics.

Jon Bon Jovi met his wife, Dorothea Hurley, when they were teenagers, and bar a brief split when the former dated Diane Lane, they’ve been together ever since. However, he’s also admitted to cheating on her in the past, and while it’s pretty clear they got past the infidelity, we can’t help but look a little sideways at his commentary on it.

Bon Jovi has long cultivated the image of being the most faithful rock star to date. In fact, back in 2016, he mentioned in an interview with Belfast Telegraph that his loyalty was one of the things he was proudest of. However, in 2024, he revealed in an interview with Independent that he’d cheated on Hurley while on the road at some point during their marriage.

Though he didn’t go into detail, Bon Jovi admitted that a good portion of his and Hurley’s success as a couple came from the latter forgiving his indiscretions. Granted, he also pointed out that he’d owned up to what he did — and as many people may remember, he did indeed acknowledge having affairs on the road in his 1993 hit “Bed of Roses.” Speaking of his willingness to tell Hurley the truth, he told The Independent, “It’s about never lying about having been a saint.” Snaps for honesty, we guess, but we’re not sure that we love that take.

After all, in a 2010 interview with Men’s Health, he spoke about being pretty averse to the idea of side chicks and affairs. “I don’t look at this week’s hot starlet and think about trading in or trading up. I don’t have a mistress on the side or another family across town. You’re never going to read that story about me. I have no regard for that whole lifestyle,” he told the outlet.

Granted, in the same interview, Bon Jovi once again pointed out that he didn’t always have the greatest track record. “I’m not a saint, and I have not been a saint,” he confessed. However, he added that Hurley was well aware of that, and that she had been from the get-go. However, she still chose to stand by him.

As much as we may side-eye the fact that Jon Bon Jovi’s take on marriage and cheating, at the end of the day, this is one very loved-up couple — and that’s not just a false narrative Bon Jovi himself has painted. In fact, Dorothea Hurley herself has spoken about their marriage being founded on respect for one another.

The world of sports is one of the most lucrative industries in the world.

The immense amount of wealth accumulated by athletes who reach the top is largely down to salaries and the massive global fan base, which sees revenue through television broadcasting rights and ticket sales as well as sponsorships and merchandise sales.

The major emotional connection among fans of sports has allowed for companies to charge premium prices for experiences and products, further boosting marketing and advertising opportunities seen across various platforms.

As such, professional athletes in the world of sports have seen their wealth reach eye-watering heights with salaries one can only dream of.

But among the greatest of them all, who has been found to be the ultimate winner when it comes to being the richest sports star in the world?

Sportico analysed the highest paying athletes by using research, earnings estimated based on conversations with industry insiders and historical estimates carried out by, among others, Forbes and Sports Illustrated to determine the richest sports star.

The site listed the 50 highest-paid athletes of all time, with a combined worth of a staggering £41.3 billion ($50 billion) when adjusted for inflation.

Sportico’s rich list includes people from 17 different countries – and Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan tops the ranking.

The analysis claimed that Jordan, one of the greatest NBA stars of all time, has raked in earnings of £3.09 ($3.75 billion) – adjusted for inflation – despite retiring in 2003.

To put that in context, Michael Jordan’s reported overall wealth is higher than F1 hero Michael Schumacher (£107 million or $1.36 bn), tennis legend Rafael Nadal (£534.6 million or $690 million) and football star Neymar’s (£795 million or $1.01 billion) combined.

This staggering wealth is largely down to his earnings with Nike over the decades, which is one of the former basketball player’s primary sources of his immense fortune.

Last year, Jordan reportedly earned an estimated £118 million ($150 million) just from his partnership with Nike with his wealth ticking along nicely each year.

Golfer Tiger Woods was found by Sportico to be the second richest sports star, with earnings of £2.10 billion ($2.66 billion).

Football star Christiano Ronaldo from Portugal came in at third with an earnings of £1.5 billion ($1.92 billion).

As for the UK’s richest sports stars, Lewis Hamilton is the only Brit athlete featured in the top 50 rich list, with earnings of £726.5 million ($880 million).

Hamilton’s primary source of wealth is believed to come from his racing career, being the highest-paid driver in Formula One, alongside his business ventures, and endorsements.

Professional athletes are paid high salaries because they generate revenue for their teams and leagues.
