The upbeat track is an ode to weekend drinking and late-night revelry, with the two country stars trading verses about how the night should end.
“I wrote ‘Go Home W U’ in 2020 with Breland, Sam [Sumser] and Sean [Small],” Urban said of the track in a statement. “We had a blast writing it. It started out as a late-night drum loop, I grabbed a bass guitar and started playing a simple recurring bass line. Before we knew it, we were writing a chorus that could be sung by any drunk person in any bar anywhere in the world.”
Urban added, “A friend of mine suggested the idea of making the song a duet and I immediately thought of Lainey. Besides the fact that I love her voice, she’s got the swagger and attitude that fit so well with the song.”
On the track, Urban sings, “I got some Titanic friends / Yeah, we all get wrecked / Order anything we want from the bottom shelf / Livin’ large in a small-town bar.”
“Keith has been someone in the industry I’ve taken notes from for a while now,” Wilson said in a statement. “From watching him at CMA Fest every year growing up to hearing the way he treats people up and down Music Row, he has taught me a lot. He’s a genuine supporter of mine and I am honored I get to continue to learn from one of the best.”
Urban previously previewed his new album — his first in four years — with the singles “Straight Line” and “Messed Up As Me.” Wilson most recently released her new song “Country’s Cool Again” in February shortly after winning the Best Country Album Grammy.

The U.K.-based luxury betting company Star Sports has forecasted that Swift walking down the aisle to marry Kelce is in its top 100 betting specials for 2025.
The company has given odds of 8/1 that the pair will tie the knot next year.
It also gave 10/1 odds that Swift might pop up at the Super Bowl halftime show to perform alongside rapper Kendrick Lamar who is headlining the show.
Swift and Lamar have collaborated in the past when he featured on her 2014 song, “Bad Blood,” and also on the rerecorded version of the same song in 2023.

In a clip posted to X by @taysohighsxhool from her concert in Nanterre, France, Kelce could be seen dancing alongside supermodel and Swift’s good friend, Gigi Hadid during the song “So High School.”
Hadid was spotted pointing to Kelce during a lyric in the song referring to marriage, which fans took as a sign the pair were already hitched.
“Gigi pointed at Travis while Travis pointed at Taylor GOD THEY ARE MARRIED,” @taysohighsxhool captioned the post.
Fans have speculated Swift will spend her newfound free time working on a behind-the-scenes movie about the Eras Tour after spotting camera crews following her and her family around at concerts, while some experts think she will record new music and head in a completely different direction genre-wise.
“Taylor’s last two albums were met with more tepid critical response than her earlier work… and my guess is Taylor will spend some time finding a new direction in songwriting,” Drew Nobile, an associate professor of Music Theory at the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance told Newsweek earlier this month.
“Doing The Eras Tour in the middle of her career… seems more like the end of something than part of an ongoing story, and anything that comes next might be seen as more of a coda,” Nobile added, suggesting Swift might even “write a Broadway show.”
Aside from that, Swift will be attending the Grammy Awards in February where she is up for multiple gongs including album of the year for The Tortured Poets Department. Then the following week she will likely be hoping to cheer on her boyfriend at the Super Bowl if the Chiefs make the final.
Swift and Kelce have not announced any plans for a wedding in 2025. Newsweek has contacted representatives for the couple by email on Tuesday morning for comment.

Angel Reese proved to be a rebounding machine as a rookie and is looking to close the gap on Caitlin Clark in Year 2 after being ousted by the Indiana Fever star in the race for the Rookie of the Year Award.
She has also set some long-term goals for herself, including becoming a billionaire, which she disclosed by showing her vision board.

Rumors resurfaced recently about her dating with Brooklyn Nets star Ben Simmons in 2019. In a recent episode of their podcast, ‘Going Rogue with Larsa Pippen & Michelle Pooch,’ Larsa addressed these rumors directly. She firmly denied any connections or relationships with Simmons.
“I’ve definitely been linked to guys that I’ve never even hung out with. I was linked to Ben Simmons, do you remember? And I never sought him out. I don’t even know them by the way,” Larsa said.
In 2019, speculation emerged regarding Larsa’s alleged romantic involvement with Simmons during her marriage to Pippen. In light of these claims, Larsa took the initiative to address her personal life, aiming to clarify the situation and eliminate misunderstandings.

Following 24 years of marriage, Scottie and Larsa finalized their divorce on December 15, 2021. In a recent statement, Larsa reflected on the experience, stating that the separation gave her newfound clarity. She expressed that it became evident that certain individuals had formed friendships with her largely due to Scottie.
“The first time I felt like I started losing friends is when I was going through a divorce. And I really realized that a lot of people in my life liked me just for being Scotty’s wife…They basically liked me more when I was Scotty’s wife, and not necessarily Larsa, and I was trying to figure out who Larsa was. I didn’t know how to navigate being single,” Larsa said in a recent episode of her podcast.
In 2022, Larsa initiated a relationship with Marcus Jordan, the son of basketball legend Michael Jordan. The two developed a significant connection, with Marcus indicating in a recent interview that they had contemplated marriage. Despite their strong bond, the couple’s relationship concluded in March 2024.
Just when it looked like the Milwaukee Bucks were on the right track again after defeating the Indiana Pacers on the road, 120-112, on Tuesday to snap a two-game skid, Doc Rivers’s squad faltered on Thursday night at home versus the visiting Brooklyn Nets – a team that is proving to be a big thorn in their side.

The loss to the Nets was partly blamed by Rivers on the Bucks’ lack of ball movement to counter Brooklyn’s pesky defense.
“Tonight, I just thought their defensive intensity, their ball pressure – I mean, we literally didn’t run much offense tonight,” Rivers said after the game, per Eric Nehm of The Athletic.
“We went a lot of ISO. The ball didn’t move the way we typically move it. Then, in the fourth quarter, we finally started doing that.”

Because it’s usually the job of the head coach to design plays and make midgame adjustments to wake up a slumbering offense, Rivers’ admission seemingly didn’t sit well with fans online.
“This guy again lol. “We stunk, I didn’t really make any adjustments but we almost pulled it out in the 4th” Great hire.”
“That’s on you tho coach. Get your team ready and teach them what to do when they trap dame full court”
“As the coach, shouldn’t you be doing something about it?”
“THATS ON YOU DOC, come on man, saying this just gives bucks fans no belief”
“My favourite thing about Doc is that he speaks like he isn’t the coach.”
But as Rivers noted, the Bucks’ offense showed great activity in the fourth quarter where Milwaukee had a stretch of 20 straight points. That fiery stretch, however, was still not enough for Milwaukee to overcome the Nets’ lead which reached as high as 24 points.
Milwaukee has struggled to find consistency since winning the NBA Cup in Las Vegas. They are just 3-4 since beating the Oklahoma City Thunder in Vegas, and over that stretch, the Bucks are just 19th in the league with 110.1 points per game and 24th with a 45.3 field goal percentage.
