Why Kourtney Kardashian’s Son Mason Disick Is Living a Private Life

If you’ve been keeping up, then you know Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s son Mason Disick has been living a more private life these days.

Có thể là hình ảnh về 8 người

Sure, the teen has made the occasional cameo on The Kardashians and on his parents’ Instagram accounts. Recently, Kourtney celebrated Mason’s 15th birthday Dec. 14 (alongside Reign Disick‘s 10th because, yes, the siblings share a birthday) with a series of throwback photos, and Scott revealed the gift he got his eldest son.

“Happy birthday big boy!” the Flip It Like Disick alum wrote on his Instagram Stories. “Felt like it was only fair 4 you 2 get your first g wagon even if it’s a mini g wagon it’s still a wagon! Love u son!!!!!!”

Scott also celebrated Mason graduating from middle school in June and shared a rare snap of his firstborn sleeping on a plane the following month.

“Young blood knocked on the way home,” he captioned the July 23 post. “Best friend 4 life.”

Mason even joined Instagram himself in May. Still, he doesn’t appear on fans’ screens as often as he used to—and there’s a reason for that.

“I see comments all the time that I’m never with my kids, and I just don’t love to post my kids on social media,” Kourtney—who, in addition to Mason and Reign, shares 12-year-old daughter Penelope Disick with ex Scott—explained on a 2022 episode of the podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat. “They don’t love it—sometimes they do.”

In Mason’s case, she noted, he “doesn’t want any part of it.”

“He doesn’t love it,” the reality star continued. “I want my kids to be kids. I crave normalcy as much as we can have it.”

Considering Mason’s life has been documented since birth, followers could understand why he may want a break from the cameras. But as Kourtney has made clear, when it comes to family time, it’s not a matter of pics or it didn’t happen.

“Just because he’s not in the photo,” the Lemme mogul replied to an Instagram follower in 2022, per The Daily Mail, “doesn’t mean he’s not with us.”

And she knows just how cruel the internet can be, which is why she initially deleted Mason’s Instagram account after he signed up without her permission in 2020.

“I think on Instagram the thing that really worries me with kids is comments,” the Poosh creator shared on social media at the time. “People can be so mean.”

So even though Mason isn’t in the spotlight, his mom and dad have noted he’s still thriving.

“He’s great,” Scott said on an episode of The Kardashians that aired in May. “He’s been really unbelievable. We’re closer than ever.”

In addition to her three kids with Scott, Kourtney has son Rocky Thirteen Barker, 13 months, with husband Travis Barker—the couple have also been protective of his privacy by not revealing his face—and is stepmom to the Blink-182 drummer’s son Landon Barker, 21; daughter Alabama Barker, 18; and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 25, from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler.

Chiefs have built a team that can win if Patrick Mahomes gets hurt. That moment may have arrived

ANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Many of the decisions that the Kansas City Chiefs have made over the years have been with this exact situation in mind: Their star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, gets hurt and they could need to win a couple of games without him.

Whereas the Chiefs once relied on the brilliance of their two-time MVP to simply outscore teams, the Chiefs the past few years have been able to lean on their defense to win games.

And under center, the Chiefs paid handsomely to bring in veteran Carson Wentz, who has started nearly 100 games during nine seasons in the NFL, to be Mahomes’ primary backup.

This all became relevant on Sunday, when Mahomes had his ankle rolled up on while being tackled by the Browns’ Dalvin Tomlinson on a fourth down play late in the Chiefs’ 21-7 victory. Mahomes limped to the sideline and Wentz played the rest of the way in his place, though the two-time MVP said afterward that he would have tried to play had the game been closer.

Testing on Monday confirmed that Mahomes sustained a high-ankle sprain, a person familiar with the results told The Associated Press. The person spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity because the results were not announced by the team.

Now, the question is whether Mahomes — who has a history of ankle injuries — can recover on a short week. The Chiefs play the Texans on Saturday, then turn around for another short week with a trip to Pittsburgh on tap for Christmas Day.

“You know what you have to do to get back and I think that’s the most important thing,” Mahomes said after the game. “And now we just get back to the rehab part, the treatment part, and try to get ourselves ready on a short week.”

The Chiefs (13-1) have plenty riding on the next three weeks; they have a two-game lead on Buffalo for the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs, though the Bills have the tiebreaker. But they also understand the playoffs matter far more than the regular season as they pursue a third straight Super Bowl title, so they could be conservative and give Mahomes plenty of time to recover.

That seems a less daunting decision these days the way their defense has played. And with Wentz waiting in the wings.

    What’s working

The Chiefs were minus-4 in turnover differential when they arrived in Cleveland. They were plus-2 when they left. They managed four interceptions and two fumble recoveries, repeatedly giving their offense the ball back in good field position.

“Coach (Andy Reid) kept preaching that it was time to turn the tide on the turnover margin. We know we’ve been a little short and we have to turn the tide,” Chiefs safety Justin Reid said. “They come in bunches and it’s coming at a good time.”

    What needs help

The Chiefs moved left guard Joe Thuney to tackle and inserted Mike Caliendo in his place, hoping to solve a season-long problem of protecting Mahomes’ blind side. The decision seemed to be working in the first half, when Mahomes had more time to survey the field, but the Browns were still able to get far too much pressure on the quarterback in the second half.

    Stock up

It’s hard to believe that Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie was voted an All-Pro before he ever picked off a pass. He finally got the first of his 48-game career on Sunday, and added three pass deflections and a tackle for loss in a brilliant performance.

“I saw it was grabbed after for me, but I have not seen it yet,” McDuffie said of the football he intercepted. “Once I get that, it will be with me all day, and I will be sleeping with it tonight.”

Interesting Facts About “Pretty Woman” With Julia Roberts and Richard Gere

Interesting Facts About “Pretty Woman” With Julia Roberts and Richard Gere

Có thể là hình ảnh về 3 người

Richard Gere initially turned down the role of Edward Lewis several times, but it was Julia Roberts who finally convinced him to take the role when the two met. This completely changed the course of the film. Notably, the film was originally titled “3000,” referring to the amount of money Vivian (played by Julia Roberts) received for a week’s work.

However, after Roy Orbison’s song “Pretty Woman” became a prominent element of the film, the film’s title was changed to “Pretty Woman” and became associated with the name of the film.

One of the most memorable scenes in the film, when Edward puts a jewelry box on Vivian’s finger, making her laugh, was actually a spontaneous scene. Julia Roberts’ natural reaction amused director Garry Marshall and he decided to keep this moment, creating an indispensable part of the film.

Although Julia Roberts was not the first choice for the role of Vivian Ward, after many actresses such as Molly Ringwald, Meg Ryan and Daryl Hannah turned it down, the role became a stepping stone for Julia Roberts to become a big star.

The memorable scene in the film also has an interesting detail when Richard Gere suggested adding a scene where Edward puts the shoe on Vivian’s foot. This was a sudden idea of Gere but became one of the most romantic moments of the film.

The feelings between Roberts and Gere are really strong, and it is that connection that contributed significantly to the success of “Pretty Woman.” The harmony of the two on screen makes their love story more convincing and attractive.

Another interesting detail is that Richard Gere composed and played the piano music in the hotel scene, which added more personality to his character and also showed Gere’s musical talent. In particular, the red dress that Julia Roberts wore in the opera scene almost didn’t appear.

The dress was originally designed to be black, but designer Marilyn Vance decided to change it to red at the last minute, creating one of the most iconic fashion moments in film history.

“Pretty Woman” was not only the film that marked the successful collaboration between Julia Roberts, Richard Gere and director Garry Marshall, but also a box office hit, grossing over $463 million worldwide. This film established Julia Roberts as a leading actress and Richard Gere as a prominent actor, making a solid mark in Hollywood film history.

Kawhi Leonard ‘stepping away’ from Los Angeles Clippers to be with family evacuated due to wildfires

NBA star Kawhi Leonard is ‘stepping away’ from the Los Angeles Clippers to help family that have been evacuated due to the Pacific Palisades wildfire hours before the team’s game against the Nuggets.

Leonard has been with the Clippers since 2019 and is an integral part of the squad, which is in seventh place in the Western Conference.

The Clippers are already likely in Denver for the Western Conference matchup before Leonard’s absence became public knowledge, per Chris Haynes.

So far, there have been two deaths from the Pacific Palisades fires with thousands of buildings destroyed.

The blaze began around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, shortly after the start of a Santa Ana windstorm that the National Weather service warned could be ‘life-threatening’ and the strongest to hit Southern California in more than a decade.

The winds were expected to increase overnight and continue for days, producing isolated gusts that could top 100mph (160kph) in mountains and foothills – including in areas that haven´t seen substantial rain in months.

The Clippers have a home game scheduled for Saturday against the Charlotte Hornets, who may not come to town early with another road game against the Lakers still slated for Thursday.

The Los Angeles Kings’ NHL game against Calgary is the first event postponed because of the wildfires.

Leonard made his season debut with the Clippers just last week after missing the team’s first 34 games of the year with injury.

Now the Clippers will be without arguably their best player for an indefinite amount of time.

The Clippers nor the NBA have put out a statement on the matter or the postponement of any future games as of Wednesday afternoon.

    Leonard is a six-time NBA All-Star and a two-time NBA Finals MVP.

  • Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice: All the secrets and big mistakes

Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice: All the secrets and big mistakes

Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice: All the secrets and big mistakes

When Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice hit theaters in 1969, it was nothing short of groundbreaking. The film dove headfirst into taboo topics like open relationships and modern marriage, offering a bold and satirical look at the shifting social norms of the late ’60s. It wasn’t just a movie — it was a cultural moment, capturing the spirit of an era questioning everything from love to fidelity.

At the heart of the film’s success was the incredible cast, including Natalie Wood. Already a Hollywood icon, Natalie brought her signature grace and emotional depth to her role as Carol. Her performance grounded the film, making the complex dynamics feel authentic and relatable.

But the movie’s success wouldn’t have been possible without the strength of Natalie’s three co-stars. The performances by Robert Culp, Elliott Gould, and Dyan Cannon (as Bob, Ted, and Alice, respectively) added depth, humor, and heart, elevating the film to iconic status.

Taking a peek behind the scenes, it’s hard not to be impressed, shocked, and a little surprised at how this ”dirty” film evolved from a script on paper to earning four Academy Award nominations.

A hot tub with naked people

Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice — or BCTA, as we’ll also call it from here — is truly one of director Paul Mazursky’s standout films, and a key landmark of the New Hollywood era. New Hollywood, also known as the ”American New Wave,” was a game-changing period in film during the late 1960s and 1970s.

It shifted the focus from the traditional studio system to a more director-driven approach, giving filmmakers the freedom to explore more complex and controversial topics.

The idea for Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice came to Paul Mazursky when he read an article in Time magazine about Fritz Perls, a “gestalt therapist” who was apparently having a wild time in a hot tub with naked people at the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California.

Esalen, founded in 1962, was a New Age therapy hotspot — definitely not your average spa! Intrigued, Mazursky and his wife decided to check it out, finding themselves as the only couple in a group of strangers who actually knew each other. After some fun experiences at Esalen, plus a little writing collaboration with his buddy Larry Tucker in Palm Springs, Mazursky came up with the final script for what would become a hilarious and boundary-pushing film.
    Getty Images

From frozen rookie to cocky director

On the first day of shooting Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, things quickly turned into a nightmare for Paul Mazursky. According to him, he walked onto set to find 75 eager crew members all staring at him, waiting for him to give the first order and start filming. Mazursky, who was directing his first film, froze. He had no idea what to do.

    ”I lost everything,” Mazursky confessed.

Luckily, Charles Lang, the director of photography, saw the panic setting in. In a bold move, Lang suggested, loud enough for everyone to hear, that he and the frozen Mazursky take a film crane up in the air to figure out the opening shot.

Paul, who was terrified of heights, reluctantly agreed — he’d never been in one of those cranes before. They strapped him in, and up they went. Paul, white-knuckling the seat, couldn’t bring himself to look down. He was terrified.

Then, Charlie leaned over and said, ”There’s no shot up here, but we ought to talk about what we might do. You can start with this, do that, etc.”

After three minutes of Charlie’s calm guidance, Paul’s was able to relax, and his confidence came rushing back. He yelled down to the crew, “Okay, take us down, we’re ready to start!”

And just like that, Mazursky, who died in 2014, went from terrified rookie to confident director.

“From then on, I was a cocky little bastard,” he joked later.

Natalie Wood’s first movie in three years

ou can’t talk about Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice without mentioning Natalie Wood. She was absolutely stunning in the movie, and her appearance remains one of her most iconic moments in cinema. This was actually her first film in three years, and it could have marked a major comeback for her — but she didn’t quite seize the opportunity.

Shot in the fall of 1968, BCTA ended up being Wood’s last acting gig for nearly five years. After this, she took a break from feature films and didn’t appear in another one until Peeper (1975), a gap of six years.

The bracelet on Natalie’s left wrist

Take a look at the bracelet on Natalie’s left wrist. As a child actor, she suffered a wrist injury that never fully healed, leaving it slightly disfigured.

This happened when Natalie was was 10, during the filming of The Green Promise. While running across a bridge, it collapsed under her, and she fell, breaking her left wrist. Her stepfather helped cover up the incident, but Natalie, deeply embarrassed by the deformity, took matters into her own hands.
    RDB/ullstein bild via Getty Images
To hide the imperfection, Natalie always wore a bracelet, making sure it was never out of sight. In fact, you’ll rarely find a picture of her without it.

    Can you spot Leif Garrett?

Did you know that Leif Garrett’s cinematic debut came in Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice?

Yep, the teen idol-to-be made his first big screen appearance in this 1969 film, long before he became a household name in the ’70s as a pop star and heartthrob.

Leif was 5 years old when he first appeared in the movie, which by the way became the fifth highest-grossing film of the year.

Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice is full of sneaky cameos. First up, you’ve got Bill Cosby making a super quick appearance — blink and you’ll miss him.

Here’s how to spot him: Bill Cosby is wearing a hat, a red shirt, and sunglasses. He makes a quick appearance, bumping into Bob in the nightclub scene as Bob and the others head to their table.

Then, if you’re paying attention, you’ll spot Donald F. Muhich, who plays Alice’s therapist. What’s cool is he was actually Paul Mazursky’s real-life therapist — talk about life imitating art…

Oh, and don’t forget the guy screaming in the background at the Esalen Institute – that’s Paul Mazursky himself.

    Natalie’s wardrobe

Natalie Wood’s fashion sense was always on point. Whether at a concert, benefit, or premiere—whether glamorous or casual — Natalie Wood was a vision of beauty.

She effortlessly blended star quality with down-to-earth charm, and this was especially evident in Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice. Her wardrobe, designed by the legendary Moss Mabry, became a symbol of the era’s fashion.

From her laid-back, bohemian looks to her effortlessly chic outfits in more polished scenes, Natalie’s wardrobe in the film mirrored her ability to be both iconic and approachable.

Mabry even crafted a special bra designed specifically for Natalie Wood, which became famously known as the “Natalie Wood bra.” However, he kept the secret of its design a closely guarded mystery.

    Dyan Cannon’s triumphant return

Natalie Wood wasn’t the only actress making a dramatic comeback in Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice. Her co-star, Dyan Cannon, also returned to the big screen after a tumultuous chapter in her personal life. Dyan had been through a media storm during her bitter divorce from Cary Grant, a battle that included accusations of his erratic behavior while under the influence of LSD. She sought full custody of their daughter, but the court battle left her financially drained instead.
    Getty Images
Behind this heartbreak, Dyan was determined to revive her career, and Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice gave her just the opportunity she needed. Her role as Alice Henderson marked a turning point in her life, and she embraced it with newfound determination.

“For eight months I couldn’t do anything. I was too stunned, too confused, and upset over what had happened. Then one day something inside me clicked. I realized that I was not going to get anywhere sitting around and feeling sorry for myself, it was time for me to go out and get busy,” she told the AP in 1968.

Goofs galore: Spot the mistakes in BCTA

No film is without its goofs, and Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice has its fair share! In one scene, Alice and Ted dive into their desserts at a restaurant, but in the very next shot, those same desserts are being served to them. Later, after the party, Bob puts on a record, but when the music continues in the background, the record player is clearly shown without a record on it.

And in another moment, when Carol confesses her affair, Bob moves toward the stairs wearing his topcoat. But in the next shot, the coat is off — and Carol is holding it. These little slip-ups might not spoil the fun, but they certainly add a bit of unexpected charm of the movie.

Threw the actors into the bed

A fun fact about the iconic Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice scene where Mazursky threw the actors into the bed is that it was largely unscripted.

The director wanted to capture a raw and natural performance, so he intentionally left the actors to improvise. In fact, only Robert Culp, playing Bob, seemed comfortable in the chaotic setting, while the rest of the cast, including Natalie Wood and Elliott Gould, were initially unsure of what to do. This improvisation added to the film’s authenticity, according to critics.

    A testament

Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice may have been a turning point for many of its stars, but for Natalie Wood, it marked the beginning of a bittersweet chapter. After the film’s success, she stepped away from the spotlight, taking a hiatus from acting.

Sadly, this would be her last major film before her untimely death in 1981. While the movie reflected the free-spirited, boundary-pushing vibe of the 1960s, Wood’s personal life remained far more complicated, overshadowed by tragic events that ended too soon.

Nevertheless, her role in Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice remains a testament to her incredible talent and timeless beauty, forever etched in the history of cinema. Share this article on Facebook to honor her legacy!

Taylor Swift: The Artist Who Changes Lives Beyond the Stage

When talking about Taylor Swift, it’s easy to think of her music, her epic tours, and her cultural influence. But behind the glamour and fame, there is a woman deeply committed to making the world a better place. In a gesture that has left fans and critics alike speechless, Swift has donated enough money to cover a full year of food expenses to 11 food banks and 8 community pantries in Liverpool. This act of generosity is not an isolated event; the artist has replicated this action in every city she has visited during her UK tour, proving that her impact goes far beyond packed stadiums.

In a context where the British government has been harshly criticized for its lack of action to combat food poverty over the past 14 years, Swift’s actions have highlighted a stark reality: a pop star seems to be doing more to address this crisis than government institutions themselves. It’s not just the money that matters, but the message it sends. In a world where headlines are often dominated by divisions and inequalities, gestures like this inspire and remind that change is possible.

Food poverty in the UK has reached alarming levels, affecting millions of people. Food banks, a tool that should be a temporary solution, have become a lifeline for entire families. In this context, Swift’s donations not only alleviate immediate needs, but also draw attention to a problem that many prefer to ignore. She is not just giving food; she is offering hope.

What makes this gesture even more significant is Swift’s focus on local communities. Each donation is carefully targeted to the areas that need it most, underlining her understanding that effective charity is one that listens and responds to the specific needs of each place. In Liverpool, a city with a rich cultural history but also with economic challenges, Swift’s help comes as a balm in difficult times.

The impact of these actions transcends the material. For people struggling to put food on the table, knowing that someone like Taylor Swift cares about them can be an immense emotional boost. It’s not just about the immediate relief; it’s the recognition that their struggles don’t go unnoticed. In the words of one of the volunteers at a benefiting food bank: “It’s a reminder that there is still goodness in the world, even in the most unexpected places.”

Swift is no stranger to using her platform for the greater good. Over the years, she has supported countless causes, from education to LGBTQ+ rights. However, this initiative during her UK tour stands out for its scale and direct approach. It’s an example of how celebrities can use their influence to bring about tangible change – a refreshing contrast in an industry where excess and ostentation often overshadow empathy.

Of course, these actions also raise uncomfortable questions. Why should a pop star be the one to take the lead in the fight against food poverty? What does this say about the priorities of governments and institutions that should be tackling these issues? Swift’s donations are a noble gesture, but they also expose systemic flaws that cannot be ignored.

Ultimately, Taylor Swift’s actions are a powerful reminder of what is possible when empathy is combined with resources. She could have chosen to ignore issues that do not directly affect her life, as many in her position do. Instead, she chose to get involved, proving that true greatness lies not just in professional achievements, but in how we use our platforms to uplift others.

As her tour continues, so do her acts of kindness. And while they won’t solve food poverty on their own, they are making a difference in the lives of thousands of people. In a world starved for hope, Taylor Swift is serving something far more nutritious than food: she’s serving inspiration.

A Dream Come True for Her Parents

In a heartfelt moment, Caitlin Clark revealed to the press that she had recently accomplished something incredibly meaningful: fulfilling a dream her parents had held for years. While she did not disclose the exact details, sources close to Clark suggest that it involved securing a dream home for her family, a gesture of gratitude for their unwavering support throughout her career.

“My parents have sacrificed so much for me to pursue my dreams,” Clark said. “This was my way of giving back and saying thank you. They deserve it all.”

Her emotional statement resonated with fans, many of whom praised her for prioritizing family and staying humble despite her immense success.

    The Photo That Sparked Controversy

As part of the announcement, a series of photos was shared online, showcasing Clark with her parents in what appeared to be a celebratory moment. While most of the images were widely praised, one particular photo, labeled “Photo #3,” ignited a heated debate.

The photo shows Clark holding a symbolic key while posing with her parents in front of the new home. Critics were quick to point out that the luxurious nature of the home and the timing of the announcement—just before her rumored wedding—felt “too staged” or “overly performative.”

On the other hand, her supporters defended her actions, emphasizing that athletes often face intense public scrutiny and deserve to celebrate their achievements and personal milestones.

[Watch] Zach Top Covering George Strait’s “You Know Me Better Than That” Is The Best Thing You’ll Hear All Week

We need a cover album ASAP.

It’s no secret (or at least it shouldn’t be anyway), that Zach Top is emerging himself as one of the biggest country artists in the genre. While Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan overwhelmingly dominate streaming numbers, Top is bringing back that traditional 80’s and 90’s sound country music fans clearly still crave, and doing it extremely well I might add.

    Zach Top

While his original music, especially the songs from his recent sophomore studio album, “Cold Beer & Country Music,” are nothing short of incredible, the man does every artist before him justice when he adds his smooth and twangy vocals into the mix. From his acoustic covers of George Strait’s “I Can Still Make Cheyenne” and “Nobody In His Right Mind Would’ve Left Her” (you can watch that here), to his live performance of Chris Stapleton’s “Nobody To Blame,” Top just doesn’t miss.

And recently, I did a quick deep dive on Zach’s YouTube account and discovered a cover of George Strait’s 1991 #1 hit, “You Know Me Better Than That.”

The song was written by Anna Lisa Graham, as well as Tony Haselden, and was released in June of 1991 as the second single off The King’s eleventh studio album, “Chill Of An Early Fall.” While “You Know Me Better Than That” often gets overlooked in Strait’s lengthy discography, to me it’s one of his best uptempo tracks and currently boasts nearly 12 million streams on Spotify alone.

While this might not be the most exciting cover that Top has uploaded to social media, it’s definitely worth watching. Check it out for yourself here:
