Hollywood is immersed in a terrifying atmosphere like the “end of the world”: A series of villas of stars are destroyed, forest fires cannot be controlled

Officials said the situation could continue to spread across Los Angeles, prompting celebrities and local residents to evacuate to save their lives.

More than 37,000 residents, including many celebrities and industry leaders, were still under evacuation orders and at least five people were killed when a massive fire ravaged the Los Angeles area this week.

Strong winds are hampering the efforts of firefighters and the fires are completely out of control. The fire is still spreading over an area of tens of thousands of square meters and destroying about 3000 buildings of various sizes – as of January 8 (local time).

Pacific Palisades – the coastal hillside area that is also home to several celebrities such as Mark Hamill, Mandy Moore and James Woods – is also one of the most severely affected areas.

Los Angeles Fire Chief Robert Luna spoke about the evacuation order and told residents directly that their lives depended on whether they themselves acted on government warnings.

“You must be ready in all situations. If you are in a warning area, make sure you bring essential items such as important papers, medicines, etc. to be able to survive for at least 1 week. But if you’re asked to evacuate urgently under orders, remember – nothing is worth your life. Listen to the police, the firefighters there and prepare to evacuate,” Luna informed.

The fires have caused 10% of schools in Los Angeles to close.

Spears reveals in her upcoming book ‘The Woman in Me’ that she became pregnant with Timberlake’s baby during their relationship but had an abortion

Justin Timberlake is taking the current news cycle in stride.

As Britney Spears reveals in her upcoming memoir The Woman in Me that she became pregnant with Timberlake’s baby during their relationship but had an abortion, a source tells PEOPLE the musician, 42, is focused his family with wife Jessica Biel and work, including the *NSYNC reunion and his upcoming Trolls movie.

“He’s happy at home with Jess and their kids and he’s focusing on new music. He’s in such a great place,” says the insider.

Earlier this week, PEOPLE confirmed the revelation in Spears’ book. She writes that the pregnancy “was a surprise” but not “a tragedy,” as she was in love with Timberlake and hoped to eventually have children with him.

“But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy,” writes the “Toxic” singer, now 41, in the book. “He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

She describes the experience undergoing the abortion in the memoir as “one of the most agonizing” moments of her life.

After Spears and Timberlake split in 2002, she went on to become a mother, welcoming two sons — Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17 — with ex-husband Kevin Federline. The “Mirrors” singer later married actress Biel in 2012, and the couple share sons Silas, 8, and Phineas, 3.

“Starting a family was my dream come true,” the pop princess told PEOPLE via email in a recent cover story interview of raising her boys, who now live with their dad in Hawaii, but are in contact with Spears. “Being a mom was my dream come true.”

Timberlake publicly apologized for his treatment of Spears in February 2021, writing in a post also dedicated to Janet Jackson that he was “deeply sorry for the times in my life where my actions contributed to the problem, where I spoke out of turn or did not speak up for what was right.”

“I understand that I fell short in these moments and in many others … I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I failed,” he wrote.

Spears’ upcoming book follows the 2021 termination of her 13-year-long conservatorship, which Timberlake also spoke out about in June of that year. After Spears revealed she wanted “to end the conservatorship,” Timberlake wrote to his fans on social media that “we should all be supporting Britney at this time.”

“Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right,” he wrote. “No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body. No one should EVER be held against their will… or ever have to ask permission to access everything they’ve worked so hard for.”

Timberlake then ended his messages on Twitter with words of support on behalf of himself and Biel.

“Jess and I send our love, and our absolute support to Britney during this time,” he shared. “We hope the courts, and her family make this right and let her live however she wants to live.”

With the release of The Woman in Me, Spears looks to reclaim her voice.

“Over the past 15 years or even at the start of my career, I sat back while people spoke about me and told my story for me,” she told PEOPLE. “After getting out of my conservatorship, I was finally free to tell my story without consequences from the people in charge of my life.”

The much-anticipated memoir is out Oct. 24 through Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

TikTok has been turning rising talents and relative unknowns in the music world into superstars—if only momentarily—for years now. Record labels regularly hunt the social media app for what may be the next hot song or act, but that’s not the platform’s only role in launching successful tunes.

Occasionally, users on TikTok will turn a years-old track—usually one that has been largely forgotten—into a hit. TikTokers often skew younger, and there have been many instances when they’ve collectively discovered a cut and used it in thousands upon thousands of videos, bringing the title back to prominence.

That’s exactly what’s happened this week with two of the biggest names in the music industry. Justin Timberlake and Beyoncé debut their only duet on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 this week, well over a decade after it was first released.

The pair of superstars launch their collaboration “Until the End of Time” on the TikTok Billboard Top 50, which ranks the most-used and most-heard tracks on TikTok each frame. The single starts its time on the list at No. 39, narrowly becoming a top 40 hit once again.

Timberlake and Queen Bey’s tune ranks as one of 15 debuts on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 this week. Only three songs launch lower, but the two Grammy champions do manage to beat names like Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, and NLE Choppa.

“Until the End of Time” marks Timberlake’s second hit on the TikTok-only chart. Beyoncé snags her sixth career placement on the tally, and this new win marks her first collaboration on the ranking.

The two musicians released “Until the End of Time” in 2007 as the final single from Timberlake’s blockbuster album FutureSex/LoveSounds. The track was originally a solo production, but when it was chosen for promotion, Bey jumped on board and turned it into a must-hear event.

“Until the End of Time” climbed to No. 17 on the Hot 100, earning both stars another top 20 win. It was also a smash across a variety of radio formats, including dance, R&B, and pop. While it was a major occasion when it dropped, the song has not remained a favorite for many fans of either Timberlake or Beyoncé—but now it seems to have found a new fan base.

Source: MEGABritney Spears is said to be in for a fight to find a leading man to play her famous ex.

She used her memoir to blast the singer over her abortion and accused him of cheating.

RadarOnline.com can now reveal Britney Spears’ warts-and-all revelations seems to have landed her in a tough spot when it comes to finding a big-name actor willing to play her former lover Justin Timberlake in the upcoming biopic based on her autobiography.

Source: MEGABrit dated Justin from 1999 to 2002.

A source told us: “Britney has her pick of singers and actresses who want to play her in her movie – from Sydney Sweeney to Sabrina Carpenter and Dua Lipa.

“But she’s already realizing she is going to struggle to sign an actor willing to play Justin Timberlake.

“Britney is very involved in casting and is more concerned about who will play Justin than who will play her.

“This biopic is not going to shy away from their ugly bust-up and the nitty-gritty of their relationship.

Source: MEGATimberlake reportedly told the officer, “I had one martini, and I followed my friends home”.

“Justin carries a lot of clout in Hollywood in acting and music, so any actor who takes this on know they are going to have to bump into at some point – and that could get ugly.”

The insider added Justin, 43, is “highly unlikely” to give any actor signed up to play him access to his life as he “will want nothing to do with it”.

Universal has picked up the rights to 42-year-old Britney’s tell-all memoir The Woman in Me, which will be directed by Crazy Rich Asians filmmaker Jon Chu, 44.

Brit will be working with 67-year-old Marc Platt on the biopic – the producer behind the Legally Blonde franchise starring Reese Witherspoon.

She announced on X: “Excited to share with my fans that I’ve been working on a secret project with #MarcPlatt. He’s always made my favorite movies… stay tuned.”

Britney’s fans were stunned when her book revealed she got an abortion while dating Justin from 1999 to 2002.

The Toxic singer – whose knife-dancing antics on social media since her divorce from 30-year-old Sam Asghari have sparked fears for her mental health – told in the autobiography: “I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated.

“But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

Britney also used her book to accuse Justin – who is fighting the fallout from his recent DWI arrest and is settled with actress wife Jessica Biel, 42, and their two kids – of secretly bedding two celebs behind her back.

One of the famous faces is said to be All Saints singer Nicole Appleton.

It was widely rumored Justin and Nicole, now 49, had an affair after they were photographed slipping into the St Martins Lane Hotel, West London, where he was staying after a night out.

James Woods is mourning the loss of his newly renovated Pacific Palisades home.

In the wake of the wildfires still raging through southern California, the Vampires actor fought back tears as he recounted evacuating from his Los Angeles property, which he now knows has been destroyed by the flames.

“Our beautiful little house,” Woods lamented during an on-air interview with CNN’s Pamela Brown. He explained that he and his wife, Sara Miller-Woods, spent much of the COVID-19 pandemic living in a hotel before extending their stay while their home was being renovated. They returned to the fixed-up space just last month.

“We finally had it done, and we were swimming everyday and my blood pressure was going down,” Woods shared, his voice cracking with emotion. “If you ever saw the views from that house before this fire, they were just… It was paradise. And our neighbors, we knew them all.”

He added, “One day you’re swimming in the pool and the next day it’s all gone.”

Woods also recounted the evacuation of his neighborhood, sharing that after he and his wife were forced to leave their home with only “the clothes on our backs,” he grew concerned for their 94-year-old neighbor, who has dementia and lives alone. Looking to confirm his safety, Woods contacted the police, to request a wellness check. He claims authorities found the elderly man still at home, in his pantry.

“He’d been left alone,” Woods said. “There was so much chaos, it was like an inferno. Every house was on fire around us.”

Of the neighbor’s current status, he confirmed, “He’s okay. They found him, he’s in the hospital, he’s great.”

At another point, Woods grew emotional as he described his 9-year-old niece’s response to learning that his home had burned down.

“She came out with her little Yeti piggybank for us to rebuild our house,” he shared.

As the conversation progressed, Woods became overwhelmed more than once, and apologized to Brown when he needed a moment to calm down.

“I thought I would be stronger than this,” Woods said, wiping tears from his eyes.

“Strength is not measured by whether you hold in crying or not,” Brown replied. “Strength is what you are doing now in helping your neighbors and shining a light on the great, amazing work of all those firefighters and emergency crews.”

California Gov. Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency as multiple wildfires continue to blaze through Los Angeles County. The largest of the blazes, the Palisades Fire, broke out near the Pacific Palisades neighborhood on Tuesday morning and has burned at least 2,900 acres. According to the Associated Press, approximately 30,000 residents have been instructed to evacuate.

On Tuesday, the Nixon and Virgin Suicides actor used social media to document the evacuation, sharing photos that he took before fleeing his home, and additional pictures per security cameras around his home.

“To all the wonderful people who’ve reached out to us, thank you for being so concerned. Just letting you know that we were able to evacuate successfully,” Woods wrote on Tuesday night. “I do not know at this moment if our home is still standing, but sadly houses on our little street are not.”

In a subsequent post, he acknowledged his newly renovated home but added, “There is no possession as priceless as friends and good neighbors during a tragedy. I can’t believe the blessings we enjoy, and I am humbly grateful.”

The actor, who hasn’t appeared in a film since being dropped by his agent in 2017, also went on to deny that the raging fires are in any way related to climate change, calling one X user a “liberal idiot” for suggesting otherwise.

“This fire is not from ‘climate change,’ you ignorant asshole,” he wrote. “It’s because liberal idiots like you elect liberal idiots like Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass. One doesn’t understand the first thing about fire management and the other can’t fill the water reservoirs.”

Woods most recently served as a producer on Christopher Nolan’s Best Picture-winning blockbuster, Oppenheimer. Following the film’s Oscar triumph, he admitted that he was asked to “basically remain invisible” when it came to his involvement in the film, due to his vocal support for President-elect Donald Trump.

“I just, I stepped back and, basically, you know, took one for the team,” Woods said in 2024.

Timberlake is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which kicked off in April. The tour, which is in support of his sixth album, “Everything I Thought I Was,” is scheduled to conclude in July 2025 in Paris.

In October, Timberlake faced fan backlash for postponing his show in Newark, NJ, minutes before the doors opened.

He announced on Instagram that he wouldn’t take the stage at the Prudential Center because of “an injury that is preventing me from performing.”

“I’m so disappointed to not see you all — but I’m working to reschedule ASAP. I promise to make it up to you and give you the show y’all deserve. Thank you guys for understanding. Appreciate your support always,” Timberlake’s statement read.

Later that month, Timberlake postponed his shows from Oct. 23 to Nov. 2 because of bronchitis and laryngitis. He then canceled his Dec. 2 show in New Orleans because of back pain.

Over the summer, Timberlake made headlines when he took a plea deal in his drunk driving case following his DWI arrest in June. He pled guilty to a lesser charge of driving while alcohol impaired instead of driving while intoxicated, which is a felony.

After being pulled over by police, Timberlake told the cop that his arrest would “ruin the tour.” When the officer asked, “What tour?” the musician responded, “The world tour.”

The “SexyBack” singer was slapped on the wrist and ordered to 25 hours of community service.

Wildfires in California: Many Hollywood celebrities flee, the damage is terrible

Raging wildfires in the US state of California have killed at least five people, destroyed hundreds of buildings and ordered more than 70,000 people to evacuate on Wednesday.

Out of control, at least 5 people died

Strong winds have hampered firefighting operations and made the blaze more intense since it began on Tuesday. At least 5 deaths have been reported. The lack of water has hampered firefighting efforts, especially in the Pacific Palisades, an upscale coastal enclave where a wildfire has burned nearly 4,856 hectares.

Another fire, the Eaton Fire, east of Los Angeles near Pasadena, has also spread violently since its outbreak on Tuesday night, covering more than 4,047 hectares as of Wednesday morning local time.

The Hurst Fire, in Sylmar in the San Fernando Valley northwest of Los Angeles, is also spreading. The fact that many fires broke out out of control made rescue efforts very difficult due to a lack of personnel. “There aren’t enough firefighters in L.A. County to deal with four separate fires of this magnitude,” a fire official said.

Mrs. Harris’ home and many celebrities were affected

The fire burned down a luxurious coastal area of Los Angeles overnight, forcing many Hollywood celebrities to evacuate by car and on foot. US Vice President Kamala Harris’ home is also affected and must be evacuated, although she is currently in Washington.

Jamie Lee Curtis, Mandy Moore, Maria Shriver and many other celebrities are among tens of thousands of people forced to evacuate their homes to escape the out-of-control wildfires that are raging across Los Angeles.

“It’s heartbreaking, devastating, unbelievable,” Shriver, a journalist and former first lady of California when she married former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, wrote in X on Wednesday. “Everything is gone. Our neighborhood, our restaurants.”

Shaun Tate, 45, said he was running from his home in Altadena, a Los Angeles suburb, at 4:15 a.m. when he saw the flames spreading toward his home. “I was out of the house because I heard something flying off the roof,” Tate said at an evacuation center in Pasadena.

“We loaded our things into the SUV and drove down here,” he said. “I decided to keep my laptop, diabetes medication and some food.” Officials warned that gusty winds are expected to last throughout the day.

“We are not out of danger as the strong winds continue to blow through this city and county today,” said Los Angeles City Fire Chief Kristin Crowley.

The sky above Los Angeles turned red in some areas and was covered in a thick layer of smoke. As the blaze spread and residents began evacuating after the blaze broke out on Tuesday, roads were so congested that some people abandoned their cars to escape the blaze.

Hundreds of thousands of households lost power

According to PowerOutage.us, almost all statewide outages occur in Southern California, mostly in Los Angeles. Data showed about 400,000 homes and businesses in Southern California were without power on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Southern California utility company Edison has cut power to more than 169,000 homes and businesses, or more than 3% of its 5 million customers, across six counties in California. The company sent a notice to 8.5% of its customers that they were being considered for further power cuts.

California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency on Tuesday. President Joe Biden had planned to visit a fire station in Santa Monica to hear a report from firefighters on Wednesday, according to the White House.

President-elect Donald Trump, who will take office in two weeks, blamed Newsom’s environmental policies for the disaster in a post on his Truth Social website.

Before the fires began, the National Weather Service issued the highest alert for extreme wildfires in much of Los Angeles County from Tuesday through Thursday. The agency said that, with low humidity and dry vegetation due to a lack of rain, conditions were “almost the worst possible for wildfires.”

Climate scientists say the Los Angeles area must always be ready for fires in the fall, when seasonal winds sweep into the area, after successive wet winters that produce a lot of grass and vegetation that turns into burning material during the hot summer.

    It’s his life.

Jon Bon Jovi, 62, is a rare rocker who doesn’t have a lothario reputation, as he’s been married to his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley, for 34 years.

But, in an interview published on Sunday, he told the Independent, that he hasn’t been “a saint” all these decades.

“These are all the wonderful clichés of rock stardom. It’s about never lying about having been a saint, but not being a fool enough to f – – k up the home life, either.”

He told the outlet that their long marriage is in part thanks to her “tolerance” when he strayed.

Here’s everything to know about the couple.

    When they got married

The “You Give Love a Bad Name” singer met his wife when they were both students attending Sayreville War Memorial High School in New Jersey.

“She let me cheat off her in history,” he told People in 2020. “I was immediately drawn to her from the minute I saw her and that never changed.”

During a visit to the Howard Stern Show in 2023, Hurley said, “I remember somebody told me a story and then I said, ‘Well, my boyfriend’s gonna be a rock star,’ and they were like, ‘Good luck with that.’ “

However, their path wasn’t smooth all along. They broke up in 1985, and during that time, Bon Jovi dated actress Diane Lane for five months, as Lane said on “Watch What Happens Live.” After that, he got back together with Hurley.

“We had the No. 1 album, the No. 1 single, and we were playing three nights at the Forum in LA,” he told Men’s Health in 2010.

“I turned to Dorothea and said, ‘I got an idea. Why don’t we go right now?’ She said, ‘You’re out of your mind.’ I said, ‘Come on. What’s better than this, right now, this moment?’ And so we ran off to Las Vegas. Didn’t tell a soul.”

He also later told the Mirror, “It was like Harry Styles or Justin Timberlake getting married. I was that to the young girls in my time. When I came back from Vegas my manager was furious. He was like, ‘America’s boy is now married … that’s not a good career move.’ The record company was also despondent.”

Between 1993 and 2004, the couple welcomed four children: Sons Jesse, 29, Jake, 21, and Romeo, 20, and daughter Stephanie, 30.

Similar to his dad, Jake Bongiovi also found love at a young age with “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown, 20. The young couple got engaged in April 2023.

    Notable marriage quotes

In 2007, Bon Jovi told Best Life Magazine,  “I don’t look at this week’s hot starlet and think about trading in or trading up. I don’t have a mistress on the side or another family across town. You’re never going to read that story about me. I have no regard for that whole lifestyle.”

He added, “It’s a shallow pool, man. When you’ve been at it this long, you know it’s a real shallow pool.”

In November 2016, Hurley, told People, “Somehow it works. I think because we grow at the same rate. We grew equally and not in opposite directions.”

He chimed in, saying, “She’s the glue … I’m the crazy visionary with all kinds of things flying, and the seams are all splitting. She’s the one following me with the glue and the thread and needle, keeping it all together.”

“We really like each other. We want to hang out,” Bon Jovi further told the outlet in 2020.

“I always said I was good at spotting potential too. I have a gift,” Dorothea said.

He told the Independent that he attributes their lasting love to, “A mutual admiration society, and being lucky enough to have grown up together.”

Bon Jovi famously addressed his alleged affairs on the road in his 1993 hit single, “Bed of Roses.”

In it, he sings, “Now as you close your eyes / Know I’ll be thinking about you / While my mistress she calls me / To stand in her spotlight again / Tonight I won’t be alone / But you know that don’t mean I’m not lonely / I’ve got nothing to prove / For it’s you that I’d die to defend.”

Bon Jovi will be featured in the docuseries “Thank You Goodnight,” premiering Friday, April 26 on Hulu.
