Travis Kelce is keen to set the record straight when it comes to “false claims” regarding his work in the community.

On Wednesday, April 9’s episode of the New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, appeared to reference claims that he had purchased a $3.3 million house, with the rumors suggesting he was planning to turn it into a living facility for homeless youth.

The non-profit organization Foster Love reported on the news last month, per Sports Illustrated. However, the post seems to have since been deleted.

Kelce said on the latest episode of his podcast, “Some false claims were thrown out there that I was doing something in the community that I was not. I’m not even going to talk about it specifically.”

Travis Kelce Reacts to Mural of Jesus Christ That Looks Shockingly Like Him: ‘How Did They Do This?’

“I don’t want to bring anymore attention to that whole nonsense and article and all that stuff. If you ever want to know exactly what I’m doing in the community, just go to 87running.org,” he added, referencing his foundation, which he launched in 2015.

“We empower disadvantaged youth to achieve success by providing resources and support to their communities and cultivating their talent in the areas of education, business, athletics, stem, and the arts,” a message on the athlete’s organization reads.

Kelce continued on Wednesday’s podcast, “We’re always trying to get out there and get in the Kansas City communities and the Cleveland community, but this time, I wasn’t doing what was falsely claimed by the social channels or the outlets posting all this AI stuff.”

“Just wanted to set the record straight. Appreciate everybody for always trying to show love,” Kelce added, thanking the likes of sports analyst Pat McAfee for “always trying to look out for the guys and women in the sports world,” without expanding further on what McAfee had said.

According to EssentiallySports, on his sports talk show — The Pat McAfee Show — on April 3, McAfee, 37, said, “Travis Kelsey Good person, good human donates 3.3 million dollars to a homeless facility. Atta baby, Trav.”

A spokesperson for Foster Love did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Kelce’s latest comments come after he got emotional while speaking to the Chiefs Kingdom Show, hosted by Mitch Holthus, in November while discussing his foundation partnering with the Operation Breakthrough education center, which aids kids living in poverty in Kansas City.

“They literally have kids from preschool all the way to 8th grade, and they’re making sure these kids have meals, a safe haven; they get their education, they have good guidance and mentors,” he shared.

Recalling his first visit to Operation Breakthrough — located about 15 minutes away from the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium by car — Kelce shared, “It was for Dr. Seuss’s birthday and I was reading to the kids.”

The star said he read The Cat in the Hat during that first visit to the youth center. “And when I tell you that I hadn’t read a Dr. Seuss book in forever… I was over there trying to read these things just like these pre-schoolers were,” he joked before trying to pronounce some of the iconic children’s author’s whimsical words and rhymes.

“It was beautiful to see what that organization was doing for those kids,” Kelce continued. “And it was a little unsettling at the end when I found out that the program stopped at eighth grade.”

The sportsman has since partnered with Operation Breakthrough to open the Ignition Lab in 2021, to provide programming for students beyond middle school.

Heartbreaking Reveal: Teddi Mellencamp Shares Rocker Dad John’s Plans to Bury Her in Indiana Amid Cancer Battle!

Teddi Mellencamp Jokes That Her Dad John Is Already Planning Her Burial in Indiana amid Cancer Journey

“He goes,’ I just want to make sure you’re going to be in our group family mausoleum,’ ” the podcast host recalled

Teddi Mellencamp says jokingly that her dad, rocker John Mellencamp, has already started planning her burial amid her cancer journey.

Days after confirming that her cancer is now stage 4, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 43, detailed on her Two T’s In A Pod podcast a conversation she had with the “Jack and Diane” singer, 73 — sharing that it was full of dark humor.

“Yesterday my dad calls 11 times in a row. Finally, I answer, I’m like, ‘I’m in the bath. Let me live a little.’ He goes, ‘I just want to make sure you’re going to be in our group family mausoleum,’ ” Teddi recalled.

Teddi said she asked her father if there would be enough space in the mausoleum for her three kids — Slate, 12, Cruz, 10 and Dove, 5 — whom she shares with her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave. She filed for divorce from Arroyave, 47, in November 2024, prior to her stage 4 diagnosis.

“He’s like, ‘Well, there’s going to be the top five and then we’re gonna have little areas around it, and then that’s where everyone’s going to get buried,’ ” Teddi said.

After asking if she already needed to make the decision, she said her father told her, “You’re doing your will right now, so you may as well put it in there.”

Teddi seemingly agreed with John’s request as she told her co-host Tamra Judge that she would have to travel to Indiana to visit her grave. She joked that she would have “hot girls never die” engraved on the tombstone.

  • Unleashed in Portland: Celtics’ Road Dogs ‘Pawl Out’ with Jaw-Dropping Performance!

Unleashed in Portland: Celtics’ Road Dogs ‘Pawl Out’ with Jaw-Dropping Performance!

If you thought you heard a dog barking inside the Moda Center Sunday night, know that your ears weren’t playing tricks on you.

That sound was coming from Boston’s lovable “Korn Dog,” whose celebratory cry rang out in Portland to signal the coming of a 129-116 Celtics win.

Luke Kornet has been leading the vocal charge for the best pack of road dogs in the NBA. The canine C’s have now woofed their way to an NBA-leading 28 victories away from home, including 12 wins in their last 13 road games over the last two full months.

Portland heard the Korn Dog loud and clear midway through the fourth quarter when he soared up for a left-pawed put-back slam before bounding back on defense, bellowing like a beagle the whole way.

“He’s a dog,” Sam Hauser explained matter-of-factly after the game. “Luke’s a dog, so he just barks when he does dog things.”

Kornet resembled Kareem Abdul-Jabbark during Sunday’s performance, as he made all six of his shot attempts inside the paint, finishing with 13 points, five rebounds, and three assists in 19 minutes off the bench.

He was one of several Celtics who stepped up to help fill the voids of three top dogs – Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday, and Kristaps Porzingis – missing on the first night of a back-to-back.

Hauser balled out – or pawled out – as well, shooting 8-of-10 from 3-point range as part of a 24-point effort in a starting role.

Payton Pritchard earned his first start of the season in his hometown and, despite getting whistled for three fouls in the first five minutes, finished with 16 points (including the 3,000th point of his career), four rebounds, and five assists.

Derrick White also hit a career milestone with his 2,000th assist as part of a 17-point, three-rebound, eight-assist, two-steal effort.

Al Horford stepped up in Porzingis’ absence and delivered 14 points and six rebounds.

Rookie wing Baylor Scheierman delivered some big first-quarter minutes, logging six points, five rebounds, and three assists, and JD Davison made some impressive plays in the opening frame, as well.

The main dog of the night, unsurprisingly, was Jayson Tatum, who came just one rebound and one assist shy of a triple-double. He finished with 30 points, nine rebounds, nine assists, two blocks, and one steal, and was a game-best plus-16 in 37 minutes of action.

With the 13-point win, the Celtics upped their road-scoring differential to +9.49, the third-best mark of all time behind the 1971-72 Lakers (+11.32), and this year’s Oklahoma City Thunder (+10.09).

The road dogs will have another opportunity to increase that differential Monday night in Sacramento. So Kornet better rest up those vocal cords overnight.

Shocking Revelations from Boston’s Stunning Showdown in Orlando: 5 Game-Changing Takeaways!

There was no need for the Boston Celtics to suit up any of their regular starters Wednesday night, playing on the second night of a back-to-back and locked into the East’s No. 2 seed for the playoffs. So they took the opportunity to rest six of their top guys – Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday, Al Horford, Kristaps Porzingis, Jayson Tatum, and Derrick White – for the antepenultimate game of the season in Orlando.

Their opponent, meanwhile, still had much to play for; the Magic were seeking to seize the No. 7 seed for the top spot in the play-in tournament, so they went with their regular starters against Boston’s second- and third-stringers and turned in a 96-76 win.

Although the final result wasn’t pretty for Boston, there were still some solid individual performances and electrifying moments worth highlighting:

    1. Payton Pritchard’s Facilitation

Earning his second start of the season, Payton Pritchard could’ve used Wednesday night as a chance to go all-out in the scoring department. Instead, he chose to get others, who rarely get a chance to shine, involved.

Pritchard turned in his fifth double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 assists. Such volume in the latter department stood out, considering there weren’t many baskets to assist on. Pritchard recorded almost half of his team’s 21 dimes and assisted on nearly one-third of his team’s 32 baskets.

“I definitely look at this as a learning opportunity,” Pritchard said, “because I’m always trying to grow and take the next step.”

Pritchard stepped up and assisted five different teammates. Though he clearly had a favorite in Luke Kornet, who converted four of Pritchard’s helpers.
    2. Luke Kornet’s Consistency

Kornet’s reliability in converting those passes earns him the next spot on our list. He was the lone starter to shoot over 43 percent, knocking down 7-of-10 from the field. His 14-point effort represented the seventh double-digit scoring performance in his last nine games, and he has hardly missed the basket during that span.

Further proving his importance, he was the only starter to finish with a positive plus/minus. The Celtics outscored Orlando by two points during his 25 minutes of action and were outscored by 22 during his 23 minutes on the bench.

    3. Baylor Scheierman’s Ambidexterity

Baylor Scheierman was elevated off the bench to make the first start of his NBA career, and he did not disappoint. The rookie wing had a well-rounded 15-point, five-rebound, three-assist, one-steal effort while playing more than 35 minutes.

He made all five of his 2-point attempts, including a pair of difficult sweeping layups with soft finishes high off the glass. The two shots were nearly identical stylistically, except for the fact that they were achieved with opposite hands – one with his dominant left and one with his right.

Scheierman continues to impress with his flashy passing and confident 3-point shooting, but those two layups displayed how versatile of a scorer he can be, as well.
    4. Neemias Queta’s Power

While Scheierman showed off his soft touch, Neemias Queta exhibited his raw power. Partway through the second quarter, the Portuguese center caught a pass from Pritchard while driving through the center of the lane and threw down a thunderous poster dunk on Wendell Carter Jr.

Analytically, it was one of the more impressive dunks of the entire NBA season. According to the league’s website, it received a dunk score of 113.2, the fourth-highest score of the season. (To learn more about how “dunk score” is calculated, take a peek at this article.)

The Celtics are the only team to have multiple dunks within the top six scores this season; Jaylen Brown’s throw-down on Nov. 29 in Chicago ranks two spots behind Queta’s with a score of 109.6.

    5. Miles Norris’ Scoring Milestone

Miles Norris pulled up for his first NBA shot attempt Wednesday night and was sure to make it count.

Making his second appearance with the C’s since signing a two-way contract on March 4, Norris connected on two 3-pointers, including one that he’ll remember forever. He rose up for his first field goal attempt from beyond the arc with about four minutes remaining in the third quarter and sunk it with ease.

What made the shot even sweeter was that it was assisted by none other than Pritchard, who happens to be a longtime friend and former Oregon Duck teammate of Norris.

Queen Camilla is revealing the “secret” of her happy, 20-year marriage to King Charles.

While speaking to reporters in Rome during their state visit to Italy on Wednesday, April 9 — which also marked their
wedding anniversary — the Queen reflected on the past two decades with her husband.

“Twenty years, who could believe it was 20 years? What is the secret? I don’t know… well… I suppose it’s just sort of friendship, really,” she said, per
    Hello! magazine.

“Laughing at the same things, getting on with life. I suppose doing this, takes up most of the time,” the Queen added during a visit to the Alessandro Manzoni school, where the children were learning about Paddington Bear.

Queen Camilla — who carried out her own engagements on Wednesday morning before reuniting with King Charles at the Italian Parliament — said of their marriage, “We are always going in different directions, like ships that pass in the night really. We whizz past each other. In fact we have got a bit of a catch-up this afternoon,” Hello! noted.

Her Majesty added that they are going to exchange anniversary gifts once they return to the U.K. after their busy four-day trip to Italy.

“We are going to save that,” Queen Camilla said, per the outlet. Otherwise…you have to rush it. You don’t have time to say anything. No, I think we might dig into our pockets and pull something out at the end of the day.”

Queen Camilla hinted that her husband’s gift would be made of china, the traditional gift to mark 20 years of marriage.

“Dream on!” she quipped when asked if she’d like King Charles to take things a little easier, adding that the couple do “have time over dinner to do a bit of catching up,” Hello! reported.

Camilla also told reporters that she visited Italy as a child, revealing it was special to be back there celebrating her milestone anniversary.

“You come to Italy and you feel better. They are so friendly. Everybody is so lovely. You’ve got the food, the weather, there’s something in the air,” she said, per the outlet.

After a day of engagements, the King and Queen celebrated 20 years of marriage on Wednesday with the ultimate royal date night, as they attended a glam state banquet at the Palazzo Quirinale. Their state visit to Italy is from April 7 to April 11 and marks their first international trip of the year.

King Charles and Queen Camilla first met more than 35 years before they tied the knot. Sparks flew when the two were introduced by a friend in 1970, though they went on to marry other people.

Charles and Camilla later rekindled their romance and eventually split from their respective partners, with Charles’ divorce from Princess Diana finalized a year before her death in a Paris car crash in 1997.

They slowly took their love public in the years that followed. Camilla has supported Charles through royal life, including his accession as King in September 2022 and his cancer diagnosis that was announced in February 2024, with treatment ongoing.
