Veronica posted an image from their trip to Nigeria last year on her Instagram account. It was taken while they were back in their homeland. They were advertising “Ugo,” a documentary about Giannis’s origins and the journey to understand their culture, which was made by WhatsApp.

“My mother made sure we carried my Nigerian culture with us while we were growing up in Greece, but I was never fortunate enough to have a direct experience in my homeland,” Giannis stated in a statement prior to the documentary’s premiere. “Thankfully WhatsApp helped me stay connected to my family and roots, allowing me to create my own unique version of heritage.”

Reports say that the “Greek Freak” through his investment company, Ante, has bought the Semeli Estate, a historic winery in the Nemea region of Peloponnese. The winery has been in operation since 1979, and 20 percent of its revenue comes from exports, mainly to the USA and England. A recent five million euro investment upgraded the facilities, making the estate a top wine destination.

Nemea is celebrated for the local Agiorgitiko variety, one of Greece’s most important red grapes with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) certification, perpetuating a 2,500-year-old tradition. Nemea is often referred to as the crown jewel of the new wine industry and Greece’s most important appellation, while its wineries are ranked among the top names in the country.

Through their investment company, Ante, the Antetokounmpo brothers became minority shareholders in Hellenic Wineries, the parent company of the renowned Greek winery Boutari and Ioli water.

In an interview with PEOPLE on Tuesday, Feb. 4, Jason Kelce confirms that Taylor Swift will be heading to the Super Bowl in New Orleans to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles.

When asked about who’s coming into town for the Big Game and whether it’d be a family affair, Jason made it known that Travis’ cheer squad is assembling. “Yeah, I think everybody’s coming in,” he began before rattling off some names.

“I mean, I don’t want to speak for everybody, but I think obviously, our whole family. I believe, obviously Trav and Taylor, and his family and his friends. I mean, Trav always travels like, full,” he says of his younger brother.

Steven Tyler Performs First Show After Aerosmith Retirement, Fans Are Confused

Steven Tyler has performed live for the first time since his Aerosmith retirement. Naturally, fans are confused.

Music journalist Eddie Trunk has shared a video from a recent performance of the singer on Facebook. He captioned it with, “Video I shot last night!”

Fans shared their confusion over Tyler’s ability to sing after saying he no longer can perform. A user commented, “I thought Steven Tyler completely lost his voice?” Another added, “So why exactly did Aerosmith cancel their tour if he can perform?”

However, some loved the fact that he could still sing with no problems. “Steven Tyler, 76 years old and Kicking Ass,” another wrote. One other user added, “My impression is that there’s no way Steven Tyler can make it through a whole show.”

Tyler made his return to the stage for the first time since his vocal injury. He took to the stage at the Jam For Janie charity event on February 2.

The singer performed Extreme’s ‘More Than Words,’ Aerosmith’s ‘Toys in the Attic’ and ‘Dream On,’ ‘Sweet Emotion,’ ‘Walk This Way,’ and ‘Heartbreaker.’ The event also featured special appearances from Linda Perry, Marcus King, Jessie J, Billy Idol, Steve Stevens, and Joan Jett.

Aerosmith announced their retirement from touring in August last year after Tyler injured his vocal cords. Their ‘Peace Out’ tour started in 2023, but the band only performed three shows before canceling the rest due to the rocker’s larynx injury.
