SECRET REVEALED! Jon Bon Jovi Reveals One Rock Star Perk That Tennis Players Deserve!

Jon Bon Jovi thinks tennis players come close to musicians at one point.

In a recent chat with Howard Stern, the rocker shared his thoughts on the one privilege musicians have that tennis players should have too.

“Tennis players have a lot more going for than the musicians. They are magicians. What tennis players need is they need roadies. That’s what they need. That’s what musicians have and tennis players need. They need roadies. Somebody to hand them the racket. Somebody to wipe their brow, open the water bottle, hang it in tune nicely. This is the way it should be. I’m rooting for that.”

Jon Bon Jovi’s love for tennis is undeniable. For example, tennis player Cameron Norrie commented on a surprising connection with Jon Bon Jovi after they trained together before the Miami Open.

Fans were surprised when Norrie and Bon Jovi posted a video on Instagram of them playing tennis. Norrie was invited to Bon Jovi’s Palm Beach mansion, and they also practiced at a local tennis club.

Norrie later explained that this unlikely meetup happened because of his girlfriend, Louise Jacobi. She went to college with one of Bon Jovi’s kids and made the introduction.

Louise is friends with the family,” Norrie said. “He loves tennis, so we played a bit, and then we went to his house for lunch.”

Jon Bon Jovi is a big tennis fan and has often been seen at tennis events over the years.

Liam Gallagher asked Oasis fans on X to vote for him in the EMAs, where he is up against Bon Jovi and Green Day.

“Vote for me please EMAs I beg you pretty pretty please cmon I’m worth it I’m BIBLICAL LG x,” the singer wrote in his post.

“Ema’s mean nothing. We already know you’re the greatest musician out there,” someone commented. “I want that f*cking AWARD,” Liam told the user in his reply.

“Are you writing your acceptance speech for when you win best Rock Band?” another person asked the rocker. Gallagher responded, “I’ll just open my mouth on the night and see what comes out.”

Besides Liam, Bon Jovi, and Green Day, the other candidates for the Best Rock category are The Killers, Lenny Kravitz, Kings of Leon, and Coldplay.

In 2019, Liam won the first Rock Icon award at the MTV EMAs in Seville. In his short acceptance speech, he thanked MTV for recognizing his talent. He ended the night with two songs: ‘Wonderwall’ and his solo song ‘Once.’

The musician likes interacting with the fans on social media. He recently talked about doing interviews with Noel Gallagher. “I think Noel doesn’t want to do interviews with you because you’re funnier,” a fan told Liam.

“We don’t want to do interviews coz we’re scared of the media asking us intrusive questions and trying to pick holes in our relationship,” Liam responded.

Oasis announced they are reuniting in August after a long feud between Liam and Noel that began when they broke up in 2009. Their split happened after a fight at the Rock en Seine festival in France.

There are no official plans for new music yet, but they have scheduled many concerts in the UK, Ireland, Australia, the US, and Mexico. The band recently added two more shows to Australia in their reunion tour.

  • Tennis fans stunned after Zizou Bergs tackled Cristian Garin during Davis Cup — and still won: ‘Shocking decision’

Tennis fans stunned after Zizou Bergs tackled Cristian Garin during Davis Cup — and still won: ‘Shocking decision’

The Davis Cup tie between Belgium and Chile descended into chaos after a Belgian player won his match despite shoulder-charging his opponent, who pleaded for the match to be stopped.

Belgium edged Chile 3-1 in the first round of Davis Cup qualifiers on Monday in front of a home crowd in Hasselt, Belgium.

Sander Gille and Joran Vliegen put the hosts ahead when they beat Tomas Barrios Vera and Nicolas Jarry 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 in the doubles.

But controversy erupted as Zizou Bergs clinched the tie for Chile with a 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 win over Cristian Garin.

After holding serve in a marathon 10th game in the third set, Bergs galloped round the court in celebration, racing round the net where he collided with Garin, sending the Chilean flying.

Bergs’ shoulder collected Garin in the face and left him in serious pain, lying on the court clutching his right eye.

Garin received medical attention and Team Chile wanted to stop the match, but instead received three consecutive time violations as play was scheduled to resume.

This resulted in a game penalty which awarded Bergs the deciding set 7-5.

Speaking in the post-match press conference, Garin said he wasn’t fit to finish the match.

“They only wanted to finish that match at any cost,” he said.

Chile’s Davis Cup captain Nicholas Massu said: “One hour and a half later we still didn’t receive any apology from anyone. Not a single person asked if Cristian is OK.”

A furious Garin shared a screenshot of the moment Zizou’s shoulder hit him in the face on Instagram with the caption: “So the player is injured and can’t continue to play but we do like nothing happened.

“Wow what a beautiful world and what a great mentality.”

He also posted a photo of his face where the area around his right eye is visibly red.

Garin later posted on Instagram: “I still cannot believe we got disqualified. They weren’t disqualified, btw. But we got his point.

“Years of loving this sport and I’ve never thought I would live something like what happened”.

Team Chile released an official statement with the country’s Olympic Committee appealing the decision against Garin.

Belgium’s captain Steve Darcis said: “This is not how we wanted to end it, but the decision was made by the referee and we have to follow that. Zizou didn’t do this on purpose, it was an accident.”

Tennis fans were astonished by the scenes and surprised Bergs wasn’t automatically defaulted for injuring his opponent.

Tennis commentator Jose Morgado wrote on X: “UNBELIEVABLE scenes in this BEL-CHI tie. Bergs breaks at 5-5 in the 3rd but hits Garin while celebrating.

“Chileans wanted a default, umpires disagreed, Garin (eye swollen) refuses to keep playing and gets a game penalty to lose the match (and tie).”

The Tennis Letter posted: “Crazy scenes at Davis Cup. Wow.”

Tennis blogger Pavvy G wrote: “Shocking decision. I feel very sorry for Cristian Garin and Chile.

“How can a tennis player injured by his opponent, have to retire from the match and the opponent inflicting the injury goes through?”

Commentator Val Febbo added: “What on EARTH!? Zizou Bergs crashes into Garin as he breaks to serve for the match. Clearly an accident but why did he keep running at the net??”

SHOCKING! Bon Jovi’s John Shanks Gives Good Reasons For Accepting Jon Bon Jovi’s Invitation Despite Fan Pressure!

SHOCKING! Bon Jovi’s John Shanks Gives Good Reasons For Accepting Jon Bon Jovi’s Invitation Despite Fan Pressure!

During a recent appearance on Songs You Know with Toby Gad, Bon Jovi’s John Shanks explained why he accepted to join Bon Jovi despite fans’ criticism.

“I did a lot of the guitars on the record and then at the end of the record, he said, he’s much smarter than me cuz he’ll, ‘We’re going to go do this promo tour and you want to play with the guys? Everyone knows you. We’re all friends,’” the guitarist shared Jon Bon Jovi’s offer during the making of the ‘This House Is Not for Sale’ album.

He continued, “And so I did that and then at the end of that promo, we were doing the Ellen DeGeneres Show or something and he called me in his dressing room. He said, ‘It’s yours if you want it. Don’t make me go find somebody else.’”

“I called a few friends, other songwriters and musicians that I am friends with and I said, ‘Is this a good move? Is this bad for my career?’ And funny enough, both of them independently said, ‘You’ve been staring at a computer for 20 years. A lot of these are your songs. You guys co-wrote together,’” Shanks further shared.

The musician added, “But even if there’s songs that… I look at the list. We’re playing an arena and I’m looking at the list. I’m like, ‘I produced that.’ It’s so chintzy but as a writer or musician, you want to contribute and I look down and I go, ‘Okay, I’m part of that legacy and part of that journey of a band that I always admired and loved.’”

“And I’m very close with everyone in the band and I love them all individually. I’m friends with all of them independently of just being in the band. I care about all of the members and so, if you’re going to play in a rock band that’s the band for me to play in,” Shanks noted.

Shanks is a longtime collaborator of Bon Jovi. He worked with the band as a producer and guitarist. John joined forces with Bon Jovi in the early 2000s and over the years, he has continued to contribute to the band’s sound.

Still, fans blame Shanks for Bon Jovi’s drop in quality since he joined in 2003. They think his work has made the albums bland and lost the band’s original sound. Some feel he doesn’t challenge Jon Bon Jovi enough, and with Richie Sambora gone, the band isn’t the same.

Jon Bon Jovi’s annual Hampton Water Ping Pong competition still goes on, and it’s the fifth this year.

Jon and his son Jesse played the game resembling the classic beer pong game. In the video they shared on Instagram, the singer throws his ball into Jesse’s last cup and wins. Upon winning, the rocker celebrated his win with a post, saying he feels like Tom Brady: “For the 5th year in a row THE CHAMP IS HERE!!! This must be what being Tom Brady felt like…”

Jon has been winning the game five years in a row. He even received a wrapped gift that contained the ‘championship cup’ in 2022. On the cup, the winner’s initials have been engraved for 2020 and 2021. “Here ya go b*tches! Defending champ,” Jon bragged while showing off the trophy.

It looks like the game will continue to take place next year. Fans of the annual event have been eagerly following along, and it has become a tradition, with many wondering if Jon can keep his streak alive. Some are even speculating whether Jesse might challenge his father for the title in the upcoming years, adding a new layer of competition to this fun family event.

“Sorry I’ll be always ‘Jon’s team’ just to hear your father screams ‘the champ IS here,’” a user commented. Another added, “Jon, are you ready to be champion next year?”

While we wait for the next year’s game, Bon Jovi appeared on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart with their song ‘Now or Never,’ debuting at number 13. The track features the chorus from Bon Jovi’s hit It’s My Life.’

SURPRISE! Jon Bon Jovi Closes the Year With a Big Win Despite New Album’s Modest Success!

Jon Bon Jovi Ends Year With Another Big Win After Latest Album’s Mild Success

Jon Bon Jovi wrapped up the year with a win following his latest album ‘Forever’s moderate success.

A few weeks ago, Bon Jovi released a new single with rapper Pitbull. The song, ‘Now or Never,’ is credited to both artists. It has become a surprise hit, especially in the U.S., as reported by Forbes.

‘Now or Never’ debuted on the Adult Pop Airplay chart this week. It’s ranked at Number 37 on the list, which tracks popular adult pop songs on the radio. The song may keep climbing.

Pitbull and Bon Jovi have already made ‘Now or Never’ a hit on some of Billboard’s dance and electronic charts. This week, it’s making its debut on pop charts. The song’s success on the radio shows that fans are supporting it, and radio stations are backing it too.

‘Now or Never’ is Bon Jovi’s 17th hit on the Adult Pop Airplay chart. They’ve had three this year. Pitbull also reaches a milestone with this song. ‘Now or Never’ is his 10th hit on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, and his first in almost 10 years.

His last hit was in 2015 with ‘Time of Our Lives.’ The song also appears on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, where it is Number 30 this week. It could move up again as it gets more radio play.

Last month, Forbes also reported that for the first time, Bon Jovi appeared on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart, with ‘Now or Never’ debuting at Number 13. Pitbull mixed Bon Jovi’s ‘It’s My Life’ with his electronic dance and hip-hop style.

While Bon Jovi is new to this chart, Pitbull is not. ‘Now or Never’ is his 29th song on the Billboard list of top dance and electronic tracks. Bon Jovi’s ‘It’s My Life’ was a big hit and is still played at their shows. It helped the band make a comeback in 2000 after a five-year break from the top 40. The song reached Number 33, and it took years before they had another hit like it.

Bon Jovi’s album ‘Forever’ debuted at Number 5 in June but quickly dropped off the Billboard 200. However, the song ‘Living Proof’ reached Number 40 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart.

Jayson Tatum Shines With 22 Points, Celtics Beat Cavaliers 112-105 In Eastern Conference Top Showdown!

Jayson Tatum Shines With 22 Points, Celtics Beat Cavaliers 112-105 In Eastern Conference Top Showdown!

CLEVELAND (AP) — Jayson Tatum scored 22 points, Derrick White added 20 and the Boston Celtics showed their championship makeup down the stretch with a 112-105 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night in a matchup of the Eastern Conference’s top teams.

The defending NBA titlists executed in the final minutes and held off the Cavs, who lost for just the fourth time in 28 home games.

Kristaps Porzingis added 19 points and Jaylen Brown 16 with nine rebounds as Boston won its fourth straight and improved to 2-1 against Cleveland this season.

Donovan Mitchell scored 31 points and Darius Garland 25 for the Cavs, who cut a 15-point deficit to four in the fourth quarter.

But the Celtics, who have won four straight, didn’t buckle and responded in every crucial moment to put away the Cavs.

Jarrett Allen had 17 points and 18 rebounds for Cleveland.

    Takeaways

Celtics: Porzingis’ presence makes Boston that much tougher to defend. The 7-foot-3 big man was injured and missed last year’s playoff series against Cleveland. The Cavs continually got caught making bad switches while trying to guard Porzingis.

Cavaliers: All-Star Evan Mobley had a rough night. He finished with just 7 points on 3 of 14 shooting and failed to make a significant impact at either end. Mobley recently returned from a calf injury and doesn’t seem to have his explisiveness back.

    Key moment

After the Cavs pulled within four late in the fourth, White hit a short jumper followed by back-to-back 3-pointers to give Boston a 107-97 lead with 2:41 left.

    Key stat

Cleveland started just 1 of 14 on 3-pointers and finished 11 of 39 (28%) behind the arc. They’ve made at least 10 3s in 55 straight games.

    Up next

On Thursday, the Celtics host Dallas, which just acquired Anthony Davis from the Lakers in a superstar swap for Luka Doncic. The Cavaliers are in Detroit on Wednesday.

BREAKING: Joe Mazzulla, Jayson Tatum & Jaylen Brown Lead Epic Comeback – Celtics Spark Emotional Victory!

May be an image of 2 people, people playing basketball, basketball jersey and text that says 'CELTICS Amiea O Amica CELTICS 7'

How Joe Mazzulla, Jayson Tatum, and Jaylen Brown spearheaded a massive Celtics comeback win

Mazzulla challenged his stars at halftime to play with more energy or give up their minutes to the bench. They responded.

PHILADELPHIA — After Derrick White smoked a layup — and Guershon Yabusele sunk yet another three-pointer — it appeared that the Celtics’ were inching toward one of their worst losses of the season.

A 26-point deficit against the shorthanded 76ers loomed with three minutes left in the third quarter.

And, as many Celtics’ fans in attendance at Wells Fargo Aces began to warily look toward the exits, Joe Mazzulla also began to wonder if it was time to wave the white flag.

In fact, the third-year head coach challenged his players at halftime to up their energy — or he’d turn to the bench.

“Joe was like, ‘Yo, if you tired, just tell me, I can sit you guys down, let the Stay Ready guys play,’” recalled Jayson Tatum after the 118-110 comeback win. “And, we just had a choice to make.”

Collectively, they decided they weren’t going to write off Sunday evening as just another bad night.

“We just had to be honest with ourselves at halftime… our competitive spirit wasn’t where it needed to be,” Tatum said.

    Jaylen Brown agreed.

“It is [easy] to just call it a night and just throw the subs in, or just come up with some kind of excuse to give the media or whatever,” Brown said. “We rallied back, we put the effort in, we turned it up, we stayed together — and we persevered through a win.”

How the Celtics overcame their largest deficit in the Joe Mazzulla era

The Celtics trailed by 17 at the half after shooting just 25.9% from three — while the 76ers shot a scorching 52.6%. Midway through the third quarter, the shooting gap had somehow gotten even bigger.

“At one point, I looked at the box score and they [Sixers] were shooting 60% from three, and we were shooting 26%, and so I said, ‘We’re going to lose by 50 or it’s going to be a close game.’” Mazzulla said.

And, while Philadelphia’s lead ballooned from 17 to 26 during the third quarter, Mazzulla liked what he saw even when things weren’t going the Celtics’ way.

“I was kind of studying their body language, and it looked like they really, really wanted to do what it took to win,” Mazzulla said. “So, I kind of stuck with them — and they delivered.”

The Philadelphia lead continued to grow in large part due to the play of Yabusele, who exploded for 21 points — 12 of which came in the third quarter, punctuated by a few high-flying dunks. In the absence of both Joel Embiid and Paul George, Kelly Oubre and Justin Edwards combined to hit 4 of 7 threes.

Still, the Celtics stayed in it.

“It didn’t go our way right away — and we just had to keep fighting — but it brought out the best in us,” Tatum said. “That’s how we are supposed to play. It took a little bit from everybody. Our competitive joy was there on both ends.”

In the first half, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown combined for just 16 points on 6-15 shooting. The 76ers had 20 points in transition, led by Tyrese Maxey, who had 23 points at the half. Mazzulla wanted to see a better effort — and he made it clear.

“The way we played in the first half was not representative of who we are as a team, as an organization,” Tatum said. “And, we took it as men and responded.”

In the second, the All-Star duo exploded for 40 points on a stunning 16-22 shooting.

Thanks to some lockdown defense by both Brown and Jrue Holiday, Maxey scored just 11 points on 2-7 shooting in the second half.

The result was the comeback of the year — and two wildly impressive individual statlines. Tatum finished the night with 35 points (13-20 FG), 11 assists, and 7 rebounds, while Brown tallied 21 points (9-17 FG), 10 rebounds, and 6 assists.

And, while the comeback was led by the Celtics’ superstars, it was a true team effort that saw everyone who played in the second half meaningfully contribute.

Sam Hauser, who has had an up-and-down season in Boston, hit 3 of 4 second-half three-pointers in 12 minutes off the bench.

Derrick White nailed both of his fourth-quarter three-pointers despite being sidelined for the first 8 minutes of the period.

Jrue Holiday, who played the entire final period, hit the dagger three-ball to give the Celtics an 8-point advantage with under a minute to play — and Wells Fargo, inundated with Celtics fans, exploded in celebration.

Tatum said as they fought to cut the deficit, the team exhibited an encouraging level of resilience.

“It takes a strong group,” Tatum said. “And I give credit to Sam off the bench, Luke — those guys gave us big minutes, made big plays.”

In turn, over the game’s final 15 minutes, the Celtics outscored the 76ers 54-20 — shooting 74% overall and 12 of 16 from three, per NBC Sports Boston’s Dick Lipe. The 26-point comeback was tied for the largest of the NBA season, by any team.

A marquee win on a Sunday evening in Philadelphia

After it was complete, Mazzulla — who typically downplays wins and their significance — shared the message he had for his players.

“I just told the guys, in the NBA you get a few chances to where you really see your guys do something special in the regular season,” Mazzulla said.

Both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown agreed that Game No. 50 marked a special moment in the Celtics’ season.

“Sometimes, just like, man, we got to remind ourselves who we are,” Tatum said. “We was down 18 in Indiana last year in Game 3 [of the Eastern Conference Finals]. We’re familiar with being in those situations, but we just had to play with a little more swag. We ain’t have no life to start the game.”

That swag and that life returned in the second half — and it was apparent to anyone who was watching.

“I liked how the guys were communicating with each other,” Mazzulla said. “I like how we were fighting defensively.”

“We just had to keep chipping and keep believing, until we kind of broke through,” Tatum said.

Brown recalled getting overly frustrated by a foul call in the first half — and credited 76ers head coach Nick Nurse for providing his players a thorough game plan.

But, he also noted the Celtics shouldn’t have found themselves in this position.

“There’s enough talent where teams can play really well,” Brown said. “But we’re the better team. And we just had to stick with it.”

Ultimately, it was back-to-back Jayson Tatum three-pointers that erased a five-point fourth-quarter deficit to give the Celtics a 1-point lead with 7 minutes to play.

    They never trailed again.

The litany of missed shots and defensive lapses in the first half can certainly be scrutinized. The Celtics will likely review film of their early-game mistakes ahead of Tuesday’s match-up against the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers.

But, when it’s all said and done, what stood out most was the Celtics’ inability to quit. It’s just one victory — but it had nearly every element of a marquee win.

“I was proud to coach them this game,” Mazzulla said.

‘LAST breath’: Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs reported taken to hospital from jail for MRI

Sean “Diddy” Combs was reportedly taken from his jail cell in New York to a hospital in the middle of the night for an MRI.

According to the New York Post, sources indicated that the 55-year-old rapper, currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, was transported to Brooklyn Hospital Center around 10 p.m. on Thursday.

Page Six later confirmed that the transport was conducted after dark to avoid drawing attention from other inmates or prison staff. An unnamed source mentioned that Diddy was experiencing knee pain and needed to have it examined by medical professionals.

“Combs did not stay overnight at the hospital and returned to his cell within a few hours,” Page Six reported.

An MRI, or magnetic resonance imaging, is described by the National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering as “a non-invasive imaging technology that produces detailed three-dimensional anatomical images,” useful for detecting diseases, diagnosing conditions, and monitoring treatment.

Diddy has stated his commitment to self-improvement, saying, “I’m committed to being a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness.”

At the same time, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office acknowledged the disturbing footage related to the case, noting that while they find the images difficult to watch, there is little they can do about it.

Federal authorities have raided at least two of Diddy’s properties as he faces multiple allegations, including sex trafficking and sexual assault. The founder of Bad Boy Records and three-time Grammy winner has previously denied all accusations against him.
