Super Bowl Sunday is usually about touchdowns, game-winning plays, and championship glory. But this year, many fans are threatening to tune out—not because of the teams on the field, but because of one pop superstar in the stands.

Details about Super Bowl 2025 are starting to surface, thanks to Jason Kelce’s recent interview with People. In the chat, he confirmed that Taylor Swift will be attending the Super Bowl in New Orleans.

The celebrated singer will be there to cheer on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs as they face off against the Philadelphia Eagles.

When asked if the event would be a family affair, Jason shared that Travis’ support squad would be in full force. “Yeah, I think everybody’s coming in,” Jason said, before listing a few names. “I mean, I don’t want to speak for everybody, but obviously, our whole family. I believe, obviously Trav and Taylor, and his family and his friends,” he added with a smile.

However, Jason’s mention of Taylor attending the game has sparked mixed reactions from fans and viewers of the Super Bowl. Some are excited, while others are less than thrilled.

Many have taken to social media to voice their frustrations, and the responses are divided. One Reddit user expressed hesitation, saying they were “tempted to not watch it” because the Super Bowl has become too predictable. They criticized the Chiefs’ dominance and the frequent camera cuts to Taylor in her luxury box, calling it “really old.”

Another user bluntly said, “Not watching. They will be cutting to Taylor Swift’s reaction on the game every 39 seconds…” Meanwhile, one more person simply stated, “The Taylor effect has really ruined it.”

The complaints continued to flood in. One Redditor predicted the game would unfold as usual, and that Patrick Mahomes was “gonna whine and cry and flop” with referees making controversial calls. They also anticipated the post-game selfies with Patrick, Travis, and Taylor.

Another fan lamented how the Super Bowl’s commercialized nature was pushing them away from football entirely, calling it “disappointing” to watch the sport transform this way. They also felt that Taylor was stealing the spotlight from Travis’ performance on the field.

The wave of frustration from fans continued with many expressing their disinterest in watching the upcoming Super Bowl. One user dismissed the game entirely, saying, “Yeah, it’s a no for me,” and accused the NFL of doing everything possible to favor the Chiefs and Mahomes.

They acknowledged that football is a business but argued that it “shouldn’t be a narrative one,” especially with Taylor now in the mix.

Others echoed similar sentiments. One fan described Chiefs games as painfully predictable. The person claimed they either dominated outright or made a late comeback with the help of controversial calls. “Rinse, repeat,” they added, saying it’s no longer worth watching.

Some believe the outcome was set long ago. A Redditor remarked that they knew the Chiefs would win this year’s Super Bowl as early as last year when discussions about a historic three-peat began. “I should have put money on it,” they admitted.

For a few, skipping the game is an easy decision. One person said they’d rather “watch the Puppy Bowl,” while another called it an“easy skip” because they can’t stand either team.

The Super Bowl buzz isn’t just about football. It’s also fueling speculation about Travis’ relationship with Taylor. One fan pointed out the relentless questioning about whether Travis planned to propose, noting that he “did not want to answer, of course.”

Taylor has become a familiar face in the VIP suites at Kansas City Chiefs games, showing unwavering support for Travis since making her first appearance in September 2023.

Most recently, she was in the stands for the thrilling AFC Championship showdown between the Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills on Jan. 26 at Arrowhead Stadium. In a nail-biting finish, the Chiefs secured a 32-29 victory, punching their ticket to the Super Bowl.

As the final whistle blew and confetti rained down, Taylor made her way to the field to celebrate with Travis. The couple shared hugs, and kisses, and exchanged “I love yous” amid the sea of red and gold.

Now, with another Super Bowl appearance, the Chiefs are on the verge of making NFL history. A victory over the Philadelphia Eagles would make them the first team ever to win three consecutive Super Bowls. This follows their back-to-back championships in 2023 and 2024.

One of the most talked-about moments from last year’s Super Bowl was Taylor and Travis’ celebration after the Chiefs’ win on February 11, 2024. The singer was seen kissing Travis as cameras flashed, cementing the moment.

Travis will take the field in New Orleans on February 9. This comes just one week after the Grammys, where Taylor made a solo appearance on February 2. During the prestigious ceremony, fans couldn’t help but notice her choice of a bold red dress—a possible tribute to Travis’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Their love story traces back to the summer of 2023 when Travis attended one of Taylor’s Eras Tour shows at Arrowhead Stadium. He later revealed that he had hoped to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it, though the plan didn’t go as expected.

It wasn’t until that fall that dating rumors surfaced. This was after Taylor Swift was spotted at her first Chiefs game sitting alongside Travis’ mother, Donna. From that moment on, their relationship has become one of the most talked-about stories in sports and entertainment.

BREAKING: Netflix Announces Blockbuster About Jayson Tatum – Revealing the DARK SIDE of the Celtics Superstar!

Just In: Netflix Announces 2025 Release of Documentary on Boston Celtics Superstar Jayson Tatum

    By Sports Correspondent.

In a groundbreaking announcement that has sent shockwaves through both the sports and entertainment worlds, Netflix has officially confirmed the release of a highly anticipated documentary centered around Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum. Titled “Tatum: The Rise of a Superstar,” the documentary is set to premiere globally in 2025, offering fans an unprecedented look into the life, career, and mindset of one of the NBA’s most electrifying talents.

With Tatum continuing to dominate on the court and solidify his place among the league’s elite, this documentary promises to be a must-watch for basketball enthusiasts and sports fans alike. Netflix has a strong track record with sports documentaries, and the addition of Tatum’s story to their catalog only heightens the anticipation.

The Story Behind the Documentary: “Tatum: The Rise of a Superstar”

Netflix’s official press release describes the film as an in-depth exploration of Jayson Tatum’s life, capturing his journey from a young boy in St. Louis, Missouri, with NBA dreams, to becoming the face of the Boston Celtics, one of the most storied franchises in sports history.

“‘Tatum: The Rise of a Superstar’ is more than just a basketball story—it’s a narrative about resilience, family, and the relentless pursuit of greatness,” the statement reads. “This documentary provides exclusive access to Jayson Tatum’s life, showcasing never-before-seen footage, intimate interviews, and behind-the-scenes moments that shaped his career both on and off the court.”

The documentary will chronicle Tatum’s early years, his time at Chaminade College Preparatory School, his stellar season at Duke University under Coach Mike Krzyzewski, his selection as the third overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, and his rise to NBA superstardom.

    Exclusive Footage and Personal Insights

One of the most exciting aspects of the documentary is the promise of never-before-seen footage. Netflix has reportedly worked closely with Tatum’s family, friends, coaches, and teammates to compile content that offers fans an authentic, unfiltered look into his world.

    Viewers can expect:

Exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from pivotal NBA moments, including Celtics playoff runs, All-Star appearances, and Olympic competitions.

Personal interviews with Tatum’s closest confidants, including his mother Brandy Cole, Celtics teammates, NBA legends, and Coach Mike Krzyzewski.

A deep dive into Tatum’s relationship with his son, Deuce, and how fatherhood has influenced his life and career.

Insight into Tatum’s training regimen, mental preparation, and what drives his competitive spirit.

A Glimpse into the Man Behind the Jersey

While fans are familiar with Tatum’s brilliance on the court—his smooth jump shot, clutch performances, and undeniable talent—this documentary aims to showcase the man behind the jersey.

Tatum has often spoken about the influence of his mother, Brandy, who raised him as a single parent while juggling her education and career. Their bond is central to his story, and the documentary will highlight how her strength and support shaped Tatum’s character and work ethic.

“My mom is my hero,” Tatum has said in past interviews. “She taught me how to work hard, stay humble, and never give up on my dreams.”

Additionally, the film will explore Tatum’s role as a father to his son, Deuce, who has become a beloved figure among Celtics fans. Tatum’s journey as a young father balancing the demands of NBA stardom with parenthood adds a deeply personal layer to his story.

The Evolution of an NBA Superstar

Since entering the NBA in 2017, Tatum’s growth has been nothing short of remarkable. From his impressive rookie season—where he led the Celtics to the Eastern Conference Finals—to becoming a perennial NBA All-Star, his rise has been meteoric.

The documentary will cover key milestones, including:

His unforgettable rookie playoff run in 2018, where he famously dunked on LeBron James in the Eastern Conference Finals.

His first NBA All-Star selection and subsequent All-NBA honors.

His Olympic gold medal win with Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics.

Record-breaking performances, including his career-high 60-point game and numerous clutch moments in Celtics history.

The film will not only celebrate Tatum’s on-court achievements but also delve into the challenges he’s faced, such as injuries, criticism, and the pressure of living up to expectations as the face of a franchise chasing its next championship.

Featuring NBA Legends and Celtics Icons

“Tatum: The Rise of a Superstar” will include commentary from NBA legends, current stars, and Celtics icons who have witnessed Tatum’s growth firsthand. Expect appearances from:

Kevin Garnett, who has praised Tatum’s killer instinct and work ethic.

Paul Pierce, offering insight into what it means to be a Celtics superstar.

LeBron James, discussing Tatum’s respect for the game and their competitive battles.

Jaylen Brown, Tatum’s Celtics teammate and co-star in Boston’s dynamic duo.

Coach Joe Mazzulla, shedding light on Tatum’s leadership within the Celtics organization.

These interviews will provide diverse perspectives on Tatum’s impact—not just as a player but as a cultural figure within the NBA.

The Production Team: A Star-Studded Collaboration

Netflix has partnered with UNINTERRUPTED, the media company founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, to produce the documentary. Known for their work on acclaimed sports documentaries like “The Redeem Team” and “I Am Athlete,” UNINTERRUPTED’s involvement ensures a high-quality, compelling narrative.

The project is directed by Rachel Morrison, an Academy Award-nominated cinematographer known for her work on “Black Panther” and “Mudbound.” Morrison’s eye for storytelling will bring a cinematic flair to Tatum’s journey, blending the intensity of NBA action with emotional, character-driven moments.

Jayson Tatum’s Reaction: A Dream Come True

Tatum himself expressed excitement about the project, stating:

    > “I’m honored to have my story shared with the world through this documentary. Basketball has given me so much, but it’s the journey—the ups, the downs, the sacrifices—that really defines who I am. I hope this film inspires people to chase their dreams, no matter where they come from.”

Tatum’s humility and dedication to his craft have endeared him to fans, and this documentary will further showcase the qualities that make him both a superstar and a role model.

The Cultural Impact: More Than Just Basketball

“Tatum: The Rise of a Superstar” arrives at a time when sports documentaries are enjoying a golden era. Series like “The Last Dance” (focused on Michael Jordan) and “Quarterback” (on Netflix) have demonstrated the public’s appetite for in-depth looks at athletes’ lives beyond the game.

Tatum’s story resonates not just because of his basketball talent but because of the broader themes of perseverance, family, and identity. As a young Black athlete navigating fame, fatherhood, and societal expectations, his journey reflects the experiences of many across different walks of life.

The documentary also highlights Tatum’s influence off the court, including his philanthropic efforts in St. Louis, his advocacy for mental health awareness, and his role as a fashion icon in the NBA community.

    Global Premiere and Anticipation

Netflix has confirmed that “Tatum: The Rise of a Superstar” will premiere globally in late 2025, with an official trailer expected to drop in the coming months. The film will be available in multiple languages, underscoring Tatum’s global appeal as the NBA continues to grow its international audience.

Given Netflix’s vast reach and the Celtics’ worldwide fan base, the documentary is poised to attract millions of viewers, from die-hard NBA fans to casual sports enthusiasts eager to learn more about one of basketball’s brightest stars.

Final Thoughts: A Story Worth Telling

Jayson Tatum’s journey is far from over. At just 26 years old, he’s still adding chapters to his legacy with the Boston Celtics. Whether it’s chasing an NBA championship, setting new records, or inspiring the next generation of athletes, Tatum’s story continues to evolve.

“Tatum: The Rise of a Superstar” promises to be more than just a documentary—it’s a celebration of resilience, passion, and the relentless pursuit of greatness. For Celtics fans, NBA followers, and anyone who loves an underdog story, this film is set to be one of 2025’s most compelling releases.

So, mark your calendars. In 2025, we’ll all get to witness the story of a kid from St. Louis who dreamed big, worked harder, and rose to become a global icon.

  • Larry Bird Returns to the Boston Celtics as General Manager with a Record-Breaking $450 Million Annual Contract

Larry Bird Returns to the Boston Celtics as General Manager with a Record-Breaking $450 Million Annual Contract

Larry Bird Returns to the Boston Celtics as General Manager with a Record-Breaking $450 Million Annual Contract

In a groundbreaking announcement that has sent shockwaves through the NBA and sports world alike, the Boston Celtics have officially signed NBA legend Larry Bird as their new General Manager. The deal is nothing short of historic—a 4-year contract worth a staggering $450 million per year, totaling $1.8 billion over the life of the agreement. This makes Bird not only the highest-paid front-office executive in NBA history but also one of the most highly compensated figures in all of professional sports management.

    A Legendary Figure Returns Home

For Celtics fans, the name Larry Bird carries a legacy of greatness, grit, and unparalleled success. Known affectionately as “Larry Legend,” Bird’s return to the franchise where he built his Hall of Fame career is more than just a strategic hire—it’s an emotional homecoming.

Bird played his entire NBA career with the Boston Celtics from 1979 to 1992, leading the team to three NBA Championships (1981, 1984, and 1986) and earning three consecutive MVP awards from 1984 to 1986. His fierce competitiveness, basketball IQ, and clutch performances defined an era and solidified his status as one of the greatest players to ever step on the court.

While his playing days are long behind him, Bird’s influence on the game never waned. After retiring as a player, he served as head coach of the Indiana Pacers from 1997 to 2000, winning NBA Coach of the Year in 1998. Later, as the Pacers’ President of Basketball Operations, Bird showcased his brilliance in team-building, earning NBA Executive of the Year honors in 2012.

Now, after years away from the front office, Bird is back where it all started—Boston—tasked with steering the Celtics into a new era of championship contention.

    Details of the Groundbreaking Contract

Bird’s $450 million annual salary isn’t just a headline-grabber; it’s a bold statement from the Celtics organization about their commitment to excellence. Sources close to the negotiations revealed several key components of the deal:

Guaranteed Salary: $1.8 billion over four years, fully guaranteed.

Performance Bonuses: Incentives tied to milestones such as reaching the Eastern Conference Finals, NBA Finals appearances, and winning championships.

Equity Stake: Bird will receive a minority equity stake in the Celtics, further aligning his interests with the team’s long-term success.

Full Roster Control: Bird will have complete autonomy over basketball operations, including player acquisitions, trades, draft decisions, and coaching hires.

Legacy Clause: A unique contractual feature that ensures Bird’s involvement with the organization in an advisory role even after his tenure as GM concludes.

The deal dwarfs previous executive contracts in the NBA, surpassing even the likes of Pat Riley, Masai Ujiri, and Bob Myers in terms of financial value and organizational influence.

    Reactions from the NBA World

The reaction across the NBA landscape has been one of awe, excitement, and, in some cases, envy. Former players, coaches, executives, and fans have all weighed in on Bird’s historic return.

Jayson Tatum, the current face of the Celtics franchise, expressed his enthusiasm:

“Having Larry Bird back in the building is unreal. He’s a legend, not just in Boston but in basketball history. I’m excited to learn from him and see where he takes us.”

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver also issued a statement:

“Larry Bird’s impact on the game of basketball is immeasurable. His return to the Celtics front office is a testament to his lifelong passion for the sport. This is a great moment for the NBA and for Celtics fans around the world.”

Even Bird’s long-time rival and friend, Magic Johnson, chimed in on social media:

“The NBA is better when Larry Bird is part of it. Congrats to my friend on his new role with the Celtics. Let’s see if you can work the same magic off the court as you did on it!”

    Bird’s Vision for the Celtics

During his introductory press conference at TD Garden, Bird was candid about his goals:

“I didn’t come back to Boston to relive the past. I’m here to build the future. This team has talent, heart, and history. Now it’s about adding the right pieces, creating a winning culture, and bringing another banner to the rafters.”

Bird emphasized several key areas of focus:

    1. Player Development: Bird is known for his ability to identify and develop talent. His sharp eye for basketball IQ, work ethic, and clutch performance will be central to the Celtics’ growth strategy.

    2. Championship Culture: Drawing from his championship pedigree, Bird aims to instill a mindset of excellence throughout the organization, from the locker room to the front office.

    3. Smart Roster Moves: Bird’s track record as an executive includes savvy trades and draft picks. Expect the Celtics to be aggressive in the trade market and free agency under his leadership.

    4. Coaching Synergy: While current head coach Joe Mazzulla remains at the helm, Bird’s influence will undoubtedly shape the coaching staff’s strategies and philosophies.

    The Financial Impact

While the $450 million per year price tag has raised eyebrows, the Celtics ownership group sees it as a worthwhile investment. Wyc Grousbeck, the team’s majority owner, defended the decision:

“Larry Bird isn’t just a former player; he’s a transformational leader. His presence alone adds value to the franchise, both on and off the court. We believe this investment will pay dividends in championships, fan engagement, and the long-term growth of the Celtics brand.”

Indeed, Bird’s return is already generating buzz that extends beyond basketball. Ticket sales have surged, merchandise featuring Bird’s iconic No. 33 is flying off the shelves, and social media engagement has skyrocketed.

What This Means for the NBA

Bird’s contract could set a new precedent for front-office executives across professional sports. As player salaries have ballooned over the years, front-office compensation has lagged behind—until now. Bird’s deal may open the door for other executives to command similar figures, especially those with championship pedigrees.

It also reignites one of the NBA’s most storied rivalries—not just on the court but in the boardroom. With Pat Riley still influencing the Miami Heat, Bob Myers recently taking a prominent advisory role with the Golden State Warriors, and now Bird leading the Celtics, the battle for front-office supremacy is heating up.

    The Road Ahead

While the contract and the announcement are historic, the true measure of Bird’s success will be in wins, banners, and the legacy he builds in his second act with the Celtics. The pressure will be immense, but if there’s one thing Larry Bird has never shied away from, it’s the spotlight.

As Boston fans chant “Let’s go, Celtics!” with renewed energy, one thing is clear: Larry Legend is back, and the NBA will never be the same.

    Key Takeaways:

Larry Bird signs a record-breaking 4-year, $1.8 billion contract as the Celtics’ new General Manager.

Bird gains full control over basketball operations with performance incentives and equity in the franchise.

The NBA community reacts with excitement, and Celtics fans eagerly await the team’s next chapter.

Bird’s vision: develop talent, build a championship culture, and raise another banner in Boston.

Celtics fans, it’s time to believe again—because Larry Bird is home.

Chiefs’ Travis Kelce reveals what he hopes to be doing in 3 years

This is Kelce’s 12th NFL season

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce’s football future has been a discussion topic among fans ahead of Super Bowl LIX.

The 35-year-old tight end was asked about where he plans to be in three years at a press conference on Super Bowl LIX opening night on Monday.

“Hopefully still playing football,” Kelce said.

    Travis Kelce talks

“I love doing this, I love coming into work every day. I feel like I still have a lot of good football left in me. We’ll see what happens. I know I’ve been setting myself up for other opportunities in my life. That’s always been the goal, knowing football only lasts for so long. You have to find a way to get into another career and another profession. I’ve been doing that in my offseason. But for the most part, I plan on being a Kansas City Chief and playing football.”

Prior to the season, Kelce told Chiefs general manager Brett Veach and head coach Andy Reid he believes he has two more “good years” left in his career, a team source told The Athletic.

This season, the 12-year veteran had a down year by his standards but was still productive, catching 97 passes for 823 yards and three touchdowns, making the Pro Bowl for the 10th consecutive time.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce embrace

The three-time Super Bowl champion is under contract for one more year, as he signed a two-year, $34.25 million contract in June 2024 that runs through the 2025-2026 season.

In the AFC divisional round, Kelce delivered his best performance of the season, catching seven passes for 117 yards and a touchdown against the Houston Texans.

Against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship, Kelce wasn’t nearly as much of a factor in the passing game, catching just two passes on four targets for 19 yards.

Kelce has the most receptions in NFL playoff history with 174. If he were to keep playing for three more seasons, he would have a chance to pass Jerry Rice as the all-time NFL playoff leader in yards as well.

Rice has 2,245 yards in the playoffs, while Kelce has 2,039. Barring an historic receiving output from Kelce in Super Bowl LIX, he will likely need at least one more deep playoff run with strong numbers to pass Rice.

The Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl on Feb. 9 at 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

FOX’s Super Bowl coverage begins at 1 p.m. ET. Coverage can also be streamed live on Tubi for the first time ever.

“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg addressed a “phony ad” she came across on Instagram on Wednesday, depicting her talking about a weight loss drug, and told viewers to not engage with the advertisement.

“There is a phony weight loss ad floating around online on Instagram that has me AI-mouthed saying all kinds of stuff,” Goldberg said during the show.

Goldberg has spoken out on the show about using Mounjaro, a tirzepatide medication typically used to treat diabetes. The drug is also used for weight loss.

“I don’t sell anything unless I say, ‘Hey, it’s me, Whoopi.’ That’s how you know it’s me. This is – they took something from ‘CBS Sunday Mornings’ and melded it, and they have me selling bad weight-loss drugs. Do not, do not indulge in this,” Goldberg said.

Goldberg said she didn’t want viewers to think it was coming from her and said people should ignore it.

“I told you what I did. I was up front. I don’t have any reason to go sell some other stuff. I told you how I got to, my Mounjaro, I used Mounjaro. Which is what I did, you know. But this stuff, I don’t know who these people are, that’s the problem with AI. You don’t know who made it, but I’m telling you, it’s a lot of BS, do not fall for it and if you hear somebody say, ‘Oh, Whoopi said,’ you can say to them, no, she just told me that is not correct,” the co-host continued.

Co-host Sunny Hostin also said she used Mounjaro to lose the weight she gained during the COVID-19 pandemic during a March 2024 episode of “The View,” according to People Magazine.

Goldberg has taken aim at RFK Jr., who has spoken out about America’s approach to food and has encouraged Americans to embrace healthier lifestyles before turning to weight loss drugs.

“You are setting folks up for shame,” Goldberg said, addressing Kennedy. “That’s what you’re trying – maybe you don’t know what you’re doing. I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt. I’m gonna say you don’t know, and you don’t realize what you do to people when you say stuff like that, because it doesn’t work for everybody.”

The talk show host said that less than two years ago she weighed close to 300 pounds and argued that without the weight loss medication, “This would not have happened,” showing off her current physique.

ELVIS PRESLEY’S UNBELIEVABLE ACT OF KINDNESS: THE DAY HE GAVE A STRANGER A BRAND-NEW CADILLAC

Elvis Presley wasn’t just the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll—he was also the king of generosity. Among the countless stories of his legendary kindness, one moment in 1975 at a Memphis car dealership stands out as one of the most incredible.

Elvis walked into the dealership that day to buy himself a brand-new Cadillac, a common indulgence for the music icon who had a well-known obsession with luxury cars. But while browsing through the selection, he noticed an elderly woman standing nearby, gazing at the cars with a longing yet somber expression.

Intrigued, Elvis approached her and asked what had caught her attention. The woman, almost embarrassed, admitted that she was simply admiring the cars, knowing she could never afford one herself. That was all it took for Elvis to make a life-changing decision. Without hesitation, he pointed to a stunning gold and white Cadillac and told the woman it was hers.

The woman, overwhelmed with emotion, initially thought he was joking. But when she realized he was serious, she burst into tears of joy. Elvis covered the entire cost of the vehicle, making sure all the paperwork was taken care of before handing her the keys. But he didn’t stop there. He discreetly instructed one of his aides to write the woman a check for an undisclosed amount, telling her to use it to buy some new clothes to go with her brand-new Cadillac.

A KING WITH A HEART OF GOLD

This wasn’t a one-off gesture for Elvis—he was notorious for his generosity, often buying cars for strangers, fans, and even his staff. His close friend and bodyguard, Jerry Schilling, later recounted, “Elvis was not only an extraordinary entertainer, but he also had a heart of gold. He loved to see the happiness in the eyes of the people he gifted.”

Elvis’s wealth and fame never disconnected him from ordinary people. He found joy in spreading kindness, especially to those who least expected it. While some celebrities hoard their riches, Elvis was a man who gave without a second thought.

    A LEGACY OF GENEROSITY

The story of the gold and white Cadillac remains one of the most touching examples of Elvis’s character. Decades later, it still serves as a testament to his giving spirit—a reminder that beyond the rhinestone jumpsuits and electrifying performances, he was a man who truly cared for others.

In a world where fame often breeds arrogance, Elvis Presley remained a king in every sense of the word—one who ruled not just with music, but with an open heart.

A heavily tattooed woman recently vented online about TJ Maxx rejecting her for a retail position in one of its stores. Instead of offering their support, the online community gave her a dose of reality, suggesting that “facial piercings and tattoos” are “career enders,” making her “unemployable.”

Ash Putnam, who goes by the online handle ashxobrien, recently went on TikTok and complained that TJ Maxx rejected her for a job in retail.

“I applied to TJ Maxx a few weeks ago and they denied my application,” the 24-year-old started in the TikTok clip that was viewed more than 7 million times. “They couldn’t even call me. They just sent me some automated email.”

Looking for some clarity, Putnam – who has visible tattoos covering her face and body, along with numerous facial piercings – said she decided to confront the hiring manager.

“So, I went in today, and I was like, ‘What was the reason I didn’t get hired?’ And she was like, ‘Oh, you just don’t have enough experience. There [were] candidates with more experience than you,’” explains the young woman.

“I asked her if it was because of my tattoos. Obviously, a lot of places don’t like tattoos. She said that [it] wasn’t the reason. I don’t feel like that’s true, but whatever. I’ll leave it at that.”

    ‘Doesn’t make sense’

Hoping to get some insight from the online audience, Putnam asks in her video, “I’m just wondering how teenagers and young adults who haven’t had a job before are supposed to get employed.”

“How are they supposed to get a job if these places are only hiring people based on experience? It just doesn’t make any sense to me.”

Before ending her clip, she asked her followers to share their experiences and any obstacles they may have experienced when looking for work.

“I want to see if I’m the only person experiencing this right now. I hate that my tattoos have been such a defining factor for me getting a job or not,” Putnam added. “Just because I have tattoos doesn’t mean that I’m not going to be a good worker.”

    ‘Unemployable’

Her story struck a chord with many viewers, prompting an outpouring of comments from people offering their opinions.

“Maybe it’s the demon spider??” writes one user, referring to the prominent tattoo that spreads from her neck to her lower cheeks.

“[You] can be a bartender, tattoo artist, an extra in a prison movie, bassist for Motley Crue,” jokes a second TikToker, while a third simply writes: “Unemployable.”

Others suggested it’s the placement of Putnam’s tattoos and not the actual body art. “There’s a reason that tattoo artists refer to face tattoos as career enders,” writes one user.

A second says, “I don’t think it’s because you have tattoos…I think it’s WHERE you have tattoos.” And a third, pens, “I have tattoos everywhere but my face…but I can get a job anywhere. Be [for real].”

Offering some professional advice, one netizen writes, “HR supervisor here. There is no way any company would put you in front of customers like TJ Maxx.”

Next, a former hiring manager at TJ Maxx confirms the suspicions of facial art in the workplace: “I used to be a hiring manager for TJ Maxx and I will tell you it’s the facial piercings and tattoos.”

    ‘Shows creativity’

Over the past decade, tattoos have become far more accepted in the workplace. However, for individuals with extensive ink – like Putnam – the job hunt can still be an uphill battle, especially for customer-facing roles.

And if her body art is the reason she was denied a job at the retailer, Putnam told the Daily Star that companies need to rethink their hiring process.

“If they think tattoos determine job skill and qualifications they really need to rethink. Tattoos, piercings and colored hair are not unprofessional. It shows creativity and uniqueness…people need to get over not liking tattoos.”

If you were responsible for finding a suitable employee to fill a position, would you hire an individual with visible tattoos and piercings? Please let us know what you think and then share this story so we can get the conversation started!

  • “SH0CKWAVES! WNBA Players React to Caitlin Clark’s Record-Smashing Europe Contract!”

“SH0CKWAVES! WNBA Players React to Caitlin Clark’s Record-Smashing Europe Contract!”

Caitlin Clark, a rising star in women’s basketball, is causing a stir in the WNBA with her recent offer to play abroad in Europe. While Clark’s move to Europe is framed by many as a savvy career move, it has sparked discontent among some WNBA players, especially those who feel overlooked despite their years of service to the league. This controversy exposes much deeper issues about inequality, opportunity, and respect within the WNBA.

SHOCKWAVES! WNBA Players React to Caitlin Clark's Record-Smashing Europe Contract!" - YouTube

For those unfamiliar, Caitlin Clark has become one of the most recognizable names in women’s basketball. After a standout career at the University of Iowa, where she garnered national attention, Clark transitioned to the WNBA. Her meteoric rise continues to captivate fans, but her increasing star power, coupled with her lucrative contract offer from a European team, has led to dissonance within the WNBA locker room.

Some veteran players, like Asia Wilson and other notable WNBA stars, have voiced dissatisfaction with Clark’s contract and the attention she’s been receiving. The discontent stems from what they view as a disparity in the value placed on long-standing WNBA players versus newcomers. The frustration is understandable—players such as Asia Wilson, who have already proved themselves as league MVPs, feel that their years of experience and achievements should translate into higher pay and recognition. In comparison, Caitlin Clark, despite her undeniable talent, is a relatively new player in the league, and her rapid rise to prominence has been met with both admiration and resentment.

This situation is not just a one-off case of jealousy; it is rooted in a broader, systemic problem within the WNBA. For years, the league has struggled with disparities in recognition, compensation, and marketing of its players. While Caitlin Clark has received overwhelming media coverage and packed arenas during her college games, other highly accomplished players, like Asia Wilson, have not enjoyed the same visibility, despite being at the top of their profession. For Wilson and others, this inequality speaks to a deeper issue within the WNBA: that recognition and financial reward don’t always align with talent and effort.

Caitlin Clark becomes first rookie since 2008 to be named to All-WNBA first team | CNN

The disparity in treatment is particularly glaring when considering the racial dynamics within the league. Caitlin Clark’s stardom, amplified by media coverage, starkly contrasts with the experiences of many black athletes in the WNBA. Players like Asia Wilson, a two-time MVP, have found it difficult to attract the same level of attention as Clark, despite their superior accomplishments in the professional league. It raises uncomfortable questions about race, media visibility, and marketability in women’s basketball.

One incident that has compounded the tension is the infamous “eye poke” incident involving Caitlin Clark and her teammate DJ Carrington of the Indiana Fever. During a game, Carrington accidentally poked Clark in the eye, leading to a black eye for Clark. Instead of offering an apology or showing any remorse, Carrington and her teammate Nelissa Smith laughed off the incident, with Smith even mocking Clark’s injury on social media. The lack of support from Clark’s teammates, coupled with the indifference from the Fever’s coaching staff, has left many wondering if this behavior is symptomatic of a larger issue within the league.

Clark’s inability to receive support from her teammates, even when facing such disrespect, has fueled her decision to consider leaving the WNBA for Europe. This potential move is about more than just money; it is also about respect. European leagues often provide a more supportive environment for star players, with better financial incentives and a greater emphasis on celebrating talent rather than fostering animosity among players. Clark’s departure could signify a turning point, with her leaving for Europe possibly setting a precedent for other top players to follow suit.

The decision also underscores the harsh realities of playing in a league where top talent struggles for recognition. While Caitlin Clark can secure an offer in Europe that makes her the highest-paid player in the world, the same cannot be said for players who have spent years building the foundation of the WNBA. The idea that someone so new to the league can command such lucrative offers while veterans like Asia Wilson continue to struggle for similar opportunities has led to feelings of frustration and betrayal.

The broader implications of Clark’s potential move to Europe are felt not just within the league, but across the basketball world. The WNBA has worked diligently to grow its audience and build a sustainable market for women’s basketball. However, if players like Clark choose to leave for greener pastures abroad, the league risks losing not only its star players but also the momentum it has built over the years.

This situation highlights a fundamental problem within the WNBA’s structure: the lack of equality between its stars and emerging talent. As the league grows, it is essential for the WNBA to provide more opportunities for its players, ensuring that both newcomers and veterans receive the recognition and compensation they deserve. The disparity between how Caitlin Clark is treated and how other players, especially long-standing stars like Asia Wilson, are treated, reflects a troubling dynamic that could potentially harm the long-term growth of the league.

Ultimately, Caitlin Clark’s potential departure from the WNBA is a wake-up call for the league. It raises important questions about how talent, respect, and financial compensation are valued within the sport. If the WNBA cannot create an environment where its stars are not only supported but also fairly compensated, it may struggle to maintain its place as a prominent fixture in women’s professional sports. For players like Asia Wilson, the move by Clark serves as a reminder that despite their exceptional talent, they are still fighting an uphill battle for recognition and opportunity within the league. As the WNBA moves forward, it will need to confront these internal issues if it hopes to thrive in an increasingly competitive sports landscape.

  • Phoenix Suns Set The NBA On Fireworks By Dealing Superstar Kevin Durant To Western Conference Heavyweight In Massive Trade Proposal

Phoenix Suns Set The NBA On Fireworks By Dealing Superstar Kevin Durant To Western Conference Heavyweight In Massive Trade Proposal

A massive trade proposal has the Phoenix Suns setting off fireworks across the NBA by dealing superstar Kevin Durant to a Western Conference rival.

The Suns have been a massive disappointment this season, sitting at 25-24 one day before the trade deadline. The “big three” of Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, and Kevin Durant hasn’t worked, and GM James Jones must consider all options to keep his team competitive.

With Booker and Beal already in the fold, the Suns can trade Durant and re-emerge as a title contender if they get the right return. And perhaps the ideal solution comes from one of the top teams in the West.

Fox Sports proposed a league-altering trade idea that has Phoenix trading Durant to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Jabari Smith Jr., Dillon Brooks, Reed Sheppard and a trio of unprotected first-round picks:

“The Suns get two former No. 3 overall picks in Sheppard and Smith, much-needed draft capital, and they could attempt to flip Brooks for more value.

It’s an absolute haul for the Rockets to give up, but the time is now for a squad that’s the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference. In the aforementioned trade proposal, the Rockets move on from a handful of players whose long-term roles in Houston are murky, specifically Sheppard and Smith. Plus, they would still have a healthy amount of depth for the short term and plenty of assets to make another impact move in the offseason or ones that follow.”

Durant was acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets two years ago, but they have only won a single playoff series since his arrival (the opening round in 2023). But he certainly isn’t the issue in Phoenix, with averages of 26.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game this season.

Something has to change in Phoenix. Only time will tell if that involves Kevin Durant switching teams for the fourth time in his illustrious career.

Phoenix Suns Blow Up The NBA By Trading Superstar Kevin Durant To Western Conference Rival In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

Kevin Durant Would Push Rockets Closer To An NBA Championship

The Rockets already have a championship-caliber core led by Jalen Green, Amen Thompson, Alperen Sengun and Fred VanVleet. But adding a future Hall of Famer like Kevin Durant would arguably make an already-dangerous Houston team the club to beat in the Western Conference.

So if the Rockets could somehow complete a trade for Durant without giving up any of their top four starters, they have to go for it.
