The NFL Honors postseason awards show is officially here, and Bill Belichick certainly showed up for the event.

The NFL Honors ceremony announces the league’s most illustrious awards for the 2024 season.

The NFL Honors ceremony is at the Saenger Theater, and Bill Belichick came dressed to impress as he sported a red blazer and dark slacks.

He wasn’t alone, as he also brought along his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.

She certainly stole the show as she came in with a huge slit in her silver dress that exposed her entire left leg and a huge part near her stomach area that was also exposed.

Thursday’s NFL Honors in New Orleans will recognize the top performers from the past campaign, from Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year to Most Valuable Player.

Aside from that, the Pro Football Hall of Fame will also unveil its 2025 class.

Bill Belichick and his girlfriend have been quite busy this week.

Jordon Hudson was appreciative of the UNC head coach’s support when she hosted an awareness dinner in recognition of the victim-witnesses of the deadly terror attack that unfolded on New Year’s Day in New Orleans.

“I appreciate his support, his partnership, and supporting things that are near and dear to me,” Hudson said of Belichick at Wednesday’s dinner, according to the Boston Globe.

Bill Belichick, Jordon Hudson Engagement Rumors Emerge

Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, have been quietly and loudly dating for over two years.

The former New England Patriots coach, who is 72, began seeing Hudson, 24, in early 2023. Belichick and Hudson’s relationship wouldn’t be made public until the summer of 2024.

Belichick, who largely avoids the media, has certainly been seen a lot with his new love interest, as he has been smiling more than ever.

It has led to many thinking that a marriage could be happening in the future.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, fans are going to keep close tabs on their relationship.

At 53, Snoop Dogg has been around for a bit, but 72-year-old Bill Belichick has been around for a lot longer.

Still, the former New England Patriots head coach, who recently accepted a job at UNC, is dating someone younger than half Snoop’s age.

As such, the veteran artist did not hold back on him while speaking during his opening monologue at the NFL Honors on Thursday night.

Bill Belichick Is Going To Have To Get Used To This

With Bill having stepped out to the event with his cheerleader girlfriend showing plenty of skin, the Long Beach rapper would roast them over her age while telling everyone how long he’s been a football fan.

Snoop joked that he’s been around long enough to remember when the Dallas Cowboys were actually a good team, and the Kansas City Chiefs sucked.

The Reds appear to be slowly breaking out of their May slump, during which they won just six of 26 games. The offense is starting to heat up while the pitching is still carrying the load as the team looks to build momentum throughout June. The Reds won their first rubber game in nine tries Sunday in Chicago against the Cubs. Can the Reds put themselves on a pace to return to .500? Charlie Goldsmith of the Cincinnati Enquirer joins Trags to discuss on the latest episode of Code Reds.

Belichick probably wasn’t ready for that one, given that he wasn’t attending ‘The Roast of Tom Brady.’ But he’s going to have to get used to this type of thing.

A Philadelphia Eagles fan was caught on video berating a female Green Bay Packers fan, and his life has gone downhill ever since.

The incident occurred at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday during the Eagles’ 22-10 playoff victory over the Packers.

The fallout from a viral video of a vulgar fan interaction at Sunday’s Eagles playoff game against the Green Bay Packers continued, as the Philly fan was fired from his job.

His job was found within hours of the video going viral, and soon, fans found out that Ryan Caldwell was a project manager for BCT Partners.

What is even crazier is that the job is a consulting firm that specializes in DEI services.

“Hadn’t heard about this one… Alexander Basara wrote in his post on X – prompting other Packers fans to find Caldwell. 👀 GOOD for them! Imagine that, a DEI hire filled with hate and rage. Ryan Caldwell has been canned. BTC Partners tweeted about the firing,” one fan said.

“His name is Ryan Caldwell, and the fairy just got fired from his DEI consulting firm job. 🤣 You can’t make this shit up! 🍻,” a second fan added.

“Ryan Caldwell, the Eagles fan who harassed a woman and called her a dumb cunt, goes by they/them and works in DEI. I’m sensing some hypocrisy which this,” a third fan commented.

“Don’t see any way your company survives the Ryan Caldwell nightmare. You brought in trash, surrounded yourself with trash, built your name on promoting trash. Now….. you’re heading for the trash heap of history. So be it. How’s the DEI idiocy looking now? Good riddance,” a fourth fan said.

“At one point, Eagles fan Ryan Caldwell, who works for a DEI-focused management consulting firm in East Brunswick, New Jersey, refers to the woman as an ‘ugly, dumb c***’.” Works for a DEI focused consultant if firm, you can’t make this up. More hate from the left!” one final fan added.

BCT Partners said Caldwell’s “highly offensive and misogynistic” language went against their values, and they promptly canned him.

“We condemn our former employee’s conduct in the strongest possible terms,” BCT Partners said in a statement. “This individual’s conduct and language were vile, disgusting, unacceptable, and horrific and have no place in our workplace and society. Such conduct is not who we are and not what we stand for.”

Foul-Mouthed Eagles Fan Gets Banned From Lincoln Financial Field

A Philadelphia sports fan who went off on a misogynistic tirade against a female Green Bay Packers fan has watched his final game for his favorite team.

A widely shared video showed a man in an Eagles jacket bending over, cupping his hands over his mouth, and verbally abusing the female fan in the row in front of him.

The lady was simply cheering on her team.

“She’s an ugly, dumb cunt,” the man is heard saying. “You gonna do anything? Then shut the fuck up, turn around, watch the game.”

The Eagles have since banned him from the stadium for life.

LeBron James may have lived a complicated year with the Los Angeles Lakers, but in his personal life, things are going great, and it is that he is on his ninth anniversary with his wife Savannah, and both dedicated tender and ardent messages to each other on their social networks.

On his Instagram story, James shouted out to his wife with a glam photo of the two of them from their recent shoot with Vanity Fair magazine. The 4-time MVP captioned the photo, “Queen,” and added, “P.S., SO DAMN SEXY! WOW,” along with some heart and drooling face images.

Savannah and LeBron married nine years ago, but their relationship goes back much further-the two met in high school and have been together for 21 years.

Savannah also shared a tribute post on Instagram to celebrate their special day, with an adorable photo of them toasting with friends, and wrote as a caption, “9 years down (21), forever!!! Cheers, my love!!! Happy anniversary!!!! #JamesGang.”

LeBron James and Savannah’s love story

In 2018, Savannah told Cleveland magazine that she met her future husband when she was a 16-year-old high school sophomore and LeBron, who was a year older, was attending a rival school. She had asked a friend for his phone number, she said, but decided to take LeBron’s number instead.

“One day I was sitting around, I was probably bored or something, and I said, ‘Oh, I forgot! I have this number for this guy I can call.’ He seemed interested, so let’s see.’” she said.

LeBron invited her to one of his basketball games and the pair met up with friends to go to Applebee’s afterward. Their first solo date, at Outback Steakhouse, came a few weeks later.

    Who Is Savannah James?

Savannah James finds little enjoyment in the spotlight that comes with being a basketball star’s wife. Appearances on the red carpet or television makes her feel a “bit clammy,” but she is more than willing to step out of her comfort zone for what she believes in. Savannah doesn’t identify with fame, she is a champion for empowerment.

Savannah has been working to change lives for the better for years, but she has also been dedicated to her family as a mother and wife. A personal journey that began when she met LeBron in 2002.

    How They Met

LeBron was a 17-year-old junior at St. Vincent-St. Mary, and Savannah a 16-year-old sophomore at rival Buchtel, when a mutual friend told Savannah that LeBron had asked for her phone number.

Since she didn’t know much about LeBron at the time, Savannah opted to take his phone number instead, but forgot until she was “probably bored or something.” When she gave him a call, LeBron invited her to one of his basketball games and they went to the local Applebee’s in a group afterward. Their first solo date soon followed.

“He is truly a king to his queen, if you will,” she said in 2017. “He treats me with so much respect — I mean, it’s hard to not love him, with the way that he is with me and the kids and his mom and just everyone who’s around him. He’s a really, really humble guy for everything that he has and everything that he’s done.”

In turn, LeBron reiterated the strength of their bond when he received an Icon 360 Award in 2018.

“Savanna was with me shooting in the gym before when I had absolutely nothing. So thank you. I will love you forever for that,” he said during his acceptance speech.

Lebron and Savannah Became Parents Young

Since their days shooting in the gym, the couple welcomed three kids. The first, their son LeBron Jr., was born when they were both still teenagers.

“I was thinking, ‘What am I going to tell my parents? What’s going to happen to his career?’ I was very scared. I was bawling. But he said, ‘It’s not going to slow me down, and it’s not going to slow you down. We’re going to keep doing what we have to do,’” Savannah reflected on the situation during an interview in 2010.

Two years after LeBron Jr., the couple welcomed their second son, Bryce Maximus, followed by their daughter, Zhuri, eight years later. Having children did indeed not slow either of them down, and they approached parenting by implementing what they learned along the way.

Lebron and Savannah’s Approach to Parenting

LeBron believes in never giving up, and Savannah stands by her mantra – encouragement, and together they developed a parenting system that works for them.

“If there’s nothing more you can do for a child, just constantly encourage them and set them on the right path when it comes to sports or their schoolwork or nurturing a hobby—with whatever it is. Just be a constant source of encouragement. That’s what LeBron talks about—never give up,” Savannah elaborated.

“You have to go along that path on your own because every kid is different; every situation is different,” LeBron once said about parenting. However, he also mused in an interview how everything he learned about being a parent, he learned from his mother.

What LeBron Learned from His Mother

“Everything I know about being loving and caring, and sacrificing and showing up and being present in my children’s lives—I learned all of that from her example,” he wrote in a tribute to his mother, Gloria James.

“I couldn’t imagine being 16 years old and having a kid being a sophomore in high school and having to raise a kid by myself without the means without support system, without anything, and giving that kid just a sense of pride, a sense of strength, a sense of no worry. Because of you, Gloria James, I’m able to receive this award today,” he mused.

How LeBron grew up, and the sacrifices his mother made, shaped the man he became, and his view on what it means to be a parent.

The Sacrifices That Shaped Lebron & His View on Parenting

Gloria was a single mother and “really struggled” to make ends meet. She lived in her mom’s house with LeBron, her only child, in Akron, Ohio, until her mom suddenly died of a heart attack when LeBron was 3.

“Everything changed. With my mom being so young and lacking any support and the skills and education necessary to get ahead, it was really hard for us. We lost the house,” LeBron recalled.

They moved a dozen times over the next three years, a “scary” time for LeBron, as Gloria took on work anywhere she could to make ends meet. Even so, Gloria always made him feel safe.

“I had my mother to blanket me and to give me security. She was my mother, my father, my everything. She put me first. I knew that no matter what happened, nothing and nobody was more important to her than I was,” LeBron explained.

And it’s because she put him first, that Gloria decided to make the ultimate sacrifice when LeBron was 9 years old. She knew her son needed stability, something she couldn’t provide at the time, so made arrangements with his football coach, “Big Frankie” Walker, for LeBron to stay with them while she got back on her feet.

“I stayed with the Walkers for a year, and what a gift that was! I was in the same school all year, slept in the same bed all year, played on the same football team all year, and Big Frankie put me on my first basketball team. I saw my mom every weekend,” LeBron elaborated.

Gloria then secured a two-bedroom apartment with government assistance and LeBron moved back in with her until he finished high school. The rest, as he said, is history.

    Love and Admiration

However, LeBron’s history, and achievements over the years also garnered admiration, especially his lasting love story with Savannah. In 2021, LeBron paid a special tribute to Savannah on their eighth wedding anniversary.

“Happy Anniversary Queen!! Who am i w/o you in my corner, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Love you [sic],” LeBron wrote alongside loving images taken on their wedding day.

The comment section soon flooded with compliments and messages of admiration. “Bron, the only one who did it the right way,” an Instagram user noted. “What a beautiful couple,” another added. “Greatest couple ever,” chimed in another fan, reiterating the appreciation for how LeBron and Savannah live their lives and the example they set.

President Donald Trump gave his congratulations to Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany on the birth of their third child, daughter Golden Raye.

“Congratulations to the Chiefs GREAT Quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, and his very beautiful and BRILLIANT wife, Brittany, on the birth of their new baby daughter, Golden Raye. This is what I call a baby with great genes, both mother and father. It’s happy times in the wonderful Mahomes family. See you all on Sunday!” Trump wrote on Truth Social Thursday.

A screenshot of Brittany’s Instagram account giving a like to Trump’s 2024 policy platform on Aug. 13 was shared across social media. She then posted several follow-up posts defending herself from the backlash she received for liking Trump’s post.

Trump then gave Brittany a shoutout on Truth Social days later.

“I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,” Trump wrote. “With Crime and Illegal Immigration totally out of control, INFLATION Ravaging all Americans, and a World that is laughing at the stupidity of our hapless ‘leaders,’ it is nice to see someone who loves our Country, and wants to save it from DOOM. After Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris on Sept. 10, Trump appeared on Fox News the next morning to say he liked Brittany much “much better” than Swift.

“I actually like Mrs. Mahomes much better if you want to know the truth. She’s a big Trump fan.” Trump said on “Fox & Friends.” “I like Brittany. I think Brittany’s great.”

Earlier Wednesday, when Trump was asked who he expected to win the Super Bowl, the president didn’t give a definitive answer but alluded to Mahomes’ success.

“I don’t want to say, but there’s a certain quarterback that seems to be a pretty good winner,” Trump said when asked which team he’s rooting for.

NBA All-Star Shockwave: Tatum and Brown Reunite as Superstars Form Powerhouse Squads!

The NBA has officially dropped a bombshell with the reveal of the 2025 All-Star rosters, and fans are in complete shock. In a brand-new format designed to shake things up, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown will reunite in an explosive duo, while LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant have been stacked on the same team in what can only be described as an All-Star superteam.

The announcement sent waves through the basketball world, with social media instantly erupting in debates over which squad holds the upper hand. With Tatum and Brown leading the charge on one side, Celtics fans are thrilled to see their dynamic duo back together, this time on the grandest stage. The chemistry between these two is undeniable, and in an All-Star setting, where defense is often optional, expect highlight-reel alley-oops, deep threes, and unstoppable fast breaks.

But the real headline-grabber? The sheer dominance of a squad featuring LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Stephen Curry, Jayson Tatum, and Kevin Durant. This collection of superstars is unlike anything the league has ever seen in an All-Star setting. LeBron, the All-Star king, is making his presence felt once again, while Curry’s limitless range and Durant’s scoring prowess will make this team nearly impossible to contain. Add in the defensive anchor of AD, and this lineup looks downright unfair.

The new format was designed to inject fresh energy into the All-Star Game, and the early reaction suggests it’s doing exactly that. The anticipation is at an all-time high as fans speculate on matchups, potential rivalries, and whether this stacked squad can truly be challenged.

One thing is certain: this All-Star Game is shaping up to be one of the most electrifying showdowns in NBA history. Will Tatum and Brown rise to the occasion and take down the superstar squad? Or will LeBron and his elite teammates steamroll their way to a dominant victory? The stage is set, the lineups are locked in, and basketball fans around the world are in for an unforgettable spectacle.

Celtics Crumble in Defensive Meltdown, Fall 127-120 to Short-Handed Mavericks

In a game that should have been theirs for the taking, the Boston Celtics delivered a shocking defensive collapse against a depleted Dallas Mavericks squad, walking away with a brutal 127-120 loss that left fans stunned and frustrated.

    Klay Thompson

From the opening tip, the Celtics looked a step slow, failing to assert their defensive dominance against a Mavericks team missing key players. Rather than exploiting Dallas’s weakened roster, Boston seemed content trading buckets, a fatal mistake when facing a team as explosive as Luka Dončić and company. The result? A nightmarish defensive showing that turned a winnable contest into an embarrassing defeat.

Luka Dončić, a one-man wrecking crew, tore through Boston’s defense with surgical precision. Whether it was finding open teammates or hitting impossible shots, Dončić dictated the game at will. The Celtics’ perimeter defense was nonexistent, allowing Dallas to rain down threes with minimal resistance. And when Boston tried to adjust, their interior defense collapsed, giving up easy points in the paint and second-chance opportunities that proved costly.

Despite Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown putting up strong offensive numbers, their efforts were overshadowed by the glaring defensive shortcomings. Boston’s inability to lock in, fight over screens, and contest shots allowed the Mavericks to dictate the tempo, keeping the Celtics on their heels all night. The frustration was evident, with missed assignments, miscommunication, and a general lack of urgency dooming any chance at a comeback.

This loss raises serious questions about Boston’s championship aspirations. If they can’t shut down a Mavericks squad missing key contributors, how will they handle the elite teams come playoff time? The Celtics may boast one of the most talented rosters in the league, but without a commitment to defense, that talent means nothing.

Coach Joe Mazzulla has a long flight home to figure out how to fix these glaring issues. If the Celtics don’t tighten up defensively—and fast—they risk turning what should be a dominant season into another year of missed opportunities and disappointment.

  • John Salley thinks the NBA and WNBA rely on white superstars to boost ratings: “An anomaly of a white athlete that matches the ability of a black athlete”

John Salley thinks the NBA and WNBA rely on white superstars to boost ratings: “An anomaly of a white athlete that matches the ability of a black athlete”

It’s quite ironic that the WNBA recorded one of its highest-rated seasons in history while the NBA has been grappling with declining viewership. And at the center of the conversation is a sharpshooter from Iowa named Caitlin Clark.

The 2024 WNBA season shattered records across the board — TV ratings, ticket sales, and merchandise flew off the shelves, all largely credited to Clark’s transition from the NCAA to the pros. Meanwhile, the NBA has seen a dip in national ratings, sparking discussions about whether it lacks a similar mainstream draw.

    The race card

The “Caitlin Clark Effect,” mirrors what happened in the 1980s when Larry Bird and Magic Johnson reignited interest in the NBA. Bird, a white superstar from Indiana, helped attract a broader fan base, including white audiences who had historically been less engaged with the league.

“Everybody wanted to put race on it,” said former NBA champion John Salley. “If she was black, they wouldn’t have made such a big thing. But it’s always been when there’s always an anomaly of a white athlete that matches the ability of a black athlete. They, all of a sudden, go to the race card. And go back to it.”

The WNBA playoffs last season saw a viewership drop after the Connecticut Sun eliminated Clark and the Indiana Fever. Before their exit, Clark’s presence had driven massive attention to the league, bringing in longtime Iowa fans and attracting new viewers to women’s basketball.

This has led to a broader discussion of whether both leagues are reliant on a white superstar to captivate a wider audience. And if history is any indication, there is a point.

The numbers don’t lie. The 2024 WNBA season saw an average of 1.32 million viewers per game, nearly 200 percent more than the previous season. Ticket prices soared and Clark’s jersey became the best-selling WNBA jersey of all time.

Salley’s argument hinges on this: when a white superstar emerges and competes at an elite level, they undeniably impact ratings and revenue.

    The NBA interest

The NBA’s demographic landscape is vastly different. While white players have historically had legendary figures — Bird, Dirk Nowitzki, and Steve Nash, today’s league is overwhelmingly dominated by Black athletes.

In contrast, the WNBA, despite its majority-Black player base, saw a dramatic increase in white viewership following Clark’s arrival. While many have been quick to racialize this, it doesn’t diminish the fact that she is one of the most talented athletes. She earned her stripe just as a certain legend in the ‘80s.

“When Larry Bird came out,” Salley said. “And I played and tell this to everybody that play and I say this, who’s the best player ever?… Larry was, upon everything was the hardest guy to ever play against white or black. ‘Cause he was that good.”

Historically, major American sports leagues have seen spikes in viewership when a white superstar reaches the top. The NFL saw it with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. The NBA had it with Bird. Now, the WNBA is experiencing it with Clark.

This isn’t to say race is the sole reason behind these ratings boosts — talent, charisma and marketability all play massive roles. But from a business perspective, leagues thrive when they can appeal to a broader audience and in a predominantly Black league like the NBA, the presence of an elite white superstar often draws in casual fans who might not otherwise tune in.
