Ahead of his Super Bowl 2025 tailgate performance, Post Malone Shares Insight Into Life with His 2-Year-Old Daughter

Ahead of his Super Bowl 2025 tailgate performance, Post Malone gave E! News a rare look into his life as a dad to his 2-year-old daughter.

Post Malone's new heartfelt song: "Yours," a tribute to his daughter - YouTube

With updates like this, we’re happy to be stuck in an endless February.

Though Post Malone has kept his private life, well, private, the “Circles” rapper recently gave rare insight into his life with his 2-year-old daughter (whose name, along with his fiancée’s name, has not been revealed).

As he prepares for his Super Bowl 2025 tailgate performance, his daughter is “ready to rock,” the 29-year-old exclusively told E! News Feb. 8 at Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Super Bowl Party in New Orleans. “She’ll be 3 in May, so she’s [thumbs up gesture]. Next year, she’s gonna get to see a Cowboys Super Bowl.”

Thanks to his girls, he knows he’s better now—and that’s whether or not the Dallas team makes it that far next season. (ICYMI, the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome Feb. 9.)

“It changes your life in the best way ever,” Post—who has his daughter’s initials “DDP” tattooed on his forehead—previously raved of fatherhood. “And the most beautiful thing is, she has a beautiful mom.”

And now, he’s constantly craving family time.

“Having a baby really put a lot into perspective, and it’s really slowed me down a lot, party-wise, going out and being crazy,” Post (born Austin Post) explained in a 2023 Apple Music interview. “I never really got time or really had the bandwidth to experience the journey to its fullest. So I guess that’s what I’m trying to do now.”

“I really love hanging out with my baby, hanging out with the lady, playing video games and in my garage working on projects,” he continued. “That’s what I love to do.”

Add playing dress up to his hobbies, too. After all, he admitted his daughter is already a “swaggy” fashionista.

Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce headed into the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday for Super Bowl LIX channeling his inner ‘70s.

Kelce’s fit would be categorized as groovy, donning a burnt orange suit from the era.

On Kelce’s jacket was a gold rose pin, as he also accessorized some brown-lensed sunglasses.

    Travis Kelce walks into stadium

Kelce is exuding confidence heading into a game he knows all too well. In fact, a FOX Sports graphic popped up during his entrance saying he has 31 career receptions in his Super Bowls, which is the most all-time among tight ends in NFL history.

The history that the Chiefs could make in New Orleans can’t be overstated as they look to become the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowls.

Last year, it was an overtime thriller between the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers as Patrick Mahomes ultimately found Mecole Hardman for the game-winning touchdown in a 25-22 victory.

But Kelce had an infamous moment in the first half when he was seen screaming in the face of head coach Andy Reid. Kelce, Reid and everyone else on the sideline credited the moment to the heat of competition, as the Chiefs weren’t performing the way they could’ve liked.

The moment didn’t come back to haunt Kelce or the Chiefs, as the tight end led Kansas City with 93 yards on nine receptions to help his squad secure back-to-back Lombardi Trophies.

    Travis Kelce during press conference

The year before, Kelce saw the Philadelphia Eagles, the team he will go against again tonight, but it will be without his older brother, legendary Eagles center Jason Kelce, on the other sideline.

Kelce had six catches for 81 yards with a touchdown for the Chiefs in the win that started this streak.

He’s proven to live up to the moment in the “Big Game,” and Kelce’s performance will be critical in making sure history is made on Sunday night.

And perhaps a little disco at the victory party would be perfect to complement his fit.

  • “Sneak diss to Kendrick” – NBA fans scramble to decode LeBron James’ cryptic IG post amid Luka Doncic trade

“Sneak diss to Kendrick” – NBA fans scramble to decode LeBron James’ cryptic IG post amid Luka Doncic trade

LeBron James is known for getting his point across through subtle rather than direct statements. On more than one occasion, he’s delivered passive-aggressive jabs at NBA executives with a goal in mind (such as making roster tweaks).

NBA: Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Lakers - Source: Imagn

On Sunday, James dropped a cryptic Instagram post that’s gotten fans buzzing. In this post, he shared the words of what is supposedly an old Turkish proverb.

“When a clown moves into a palace, he doesn’t become a king. The palace becomes a circus,” read the quote.

Explore the NBA Draft 2024 with our free NBA Mock Draft Simulator & be the GM of your favorite NBA team.

James, who is popularly known by the moniker “The King,” did not share any context for this quote. As such, NBA fans came up with a variety of speculations to decode James’ meaning and intent.

One netizen wondered out loud if James was taking a jab at Grammy Award winner Kendrick Lamar, who was hours away from performing at the Super Bowl halftime show.

“Sneak diss to Kendrick?” the netizen tweeted.

This is likely a sarcastic comment, as James has long expressed his admiration for Lamar’s music.

Other netizens wondered if James was taking aim at another executive:

“Possibly defending Luka from Dallas’s new owner,” one netizen said.

“Wow fried the entire Mavs front office,” another said.

“Calling the Mavs org clowns,” another echoed.

The online users could be referring to statements made by Dallas Mavericks owner Patrick Dumont, who told The Dallas Morning News in the wake of the Doncic trade that the team is devoted to winning by “having the right culture.”

Still others think that James’ quote was intended for U.S. President Donald Trump.

“Definitely talking about Trump,” one online user claimed.

“He’s calling out the felon in the White House,” another said.

James has criticized Trump multiple times in the past. In the 2020 and 2024 elections, James endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, Trump’s opponents in the presidential races.

LeBron James slams reporting on Anthony Davis trade

A week before the cryptic post, James delivered a crystal clear message in response to a report by an NBA insider.

A day after the Anthony Davis-Luka Doncic trade was reported on Feb. 1, Bill Reiter of CBS Sports said that James “had grown frustrated” with his longtime running mate Davis. LBJ would then deliver an NSFW response.

“You a fkn lie!!!” tweeted James.

Needless to say, the recently concluded NBA trade season has generated strong feelings and reactions from stars across the league.

BREAKING: Celtics’ Jayson Tatum makes history while flaming Knicks in blowout win

BREAKING: Celtics’ Jayson Tatum makes history while flaming Knicks in blowout win

Celtics star Jayson Tatum made history while crushing the Knicks in New York City.

Jayson Tatum looking hyped in between Jojo White (Celtics jersey) and Dave Cowens (Celtics jersey)Before Saturday night, the top-10 spots on the Boston Celtics’ all-time scoring list hadn’t changed in 12 years. It’s hard to crack such a legendary list featuring 10 Hall of Famers, all with at least one NBA championship to their name. However, Celtics star Jayson Tatum managed to surpass two all-time scorers in one game during a 131-104 blowout win over the New York Knicks.

The reigning champion dropped 40 points at Madison Square Garden, which was just three away from tying his season-high output of 43. The six-time All-Star is now ninth on the Green Team’s all-time scoring list after moving past fellow St. Louis native Jo Jo White and 1973 league MVP Dave Cowens.

Tatum, who’s tallied 13,193 points in his career, has a lot of work to do to reach eighth place, as 11-time NBA champion Bill Russell towers in front of him with 14,522 points. History chasing aside, the 26-year-old can relish in the fact that his second-place C’s dismantled the third-place Knicks, putting Boston 1.5 games ahead of its Eastern Conference foe.

How did the Celtics embarrass the Knicks in New York?

Prior to squaring off with the Celtics, the Knicks had won seven of their last eight games. They boasted one of the best offenses in the league and had a chance to display it in front of a hungry New York crowd.

Instead, Boston put on a brilliant offensive performance, shooting a season-high 54.1% from the field. Tatum shot 50% while attempting 26 field goals, and Sixth Man of the Year candidate Payton Pritchard added 25 points off the bench.

Although the Celtics were without two starters, guard Jrue Holiday and center Kristaps Porzingis, the rest of their roster stepped up. Former Knicks center Luke Kornet hasn’t even started double-digit games for the Celtics this season, yet he didn’t miss a beat while joining the first five on Saturday evening. He grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds and was perfect from the floor, converting on all seven of his field goal attempts for 14 points.

Kornet’s rebounding might not seem monumental compared to Tatum’s stellar outing, but it helped limit the Knicks’ second-chance points and extend Boston’s offensive possessions. The Celtics earned 16 second-chance points to the Knicks’ four and easily won the battle on the glass, outrebounding their rivals 48-30.

Despite New York’s struggles and a poor first half, it nearly stormed back in the third quarter. Boston’s double-digit lead fell to just three points after Knicks wing Mikal Bridges drained a triple with 6:52 remaining in the third. Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla didn’t call for a timeout and Tatum rewarded that decision, driving to the rim for an open dunk. Following that easy bucket, Tatum and company went on a 24-9 run and then buried the Knicks with 35 points in the final frame.

New York was without forward OG Anunoby in the 27-point loss, however, he’s expected to return to action after the All-Star break alongside 7-footer Mitchell Robinson—who’s yet to play a game during the 2024-25 campaign due to offseason surgery.

These recoveries should provide a much-needed boost to New York’s defense. The team finished with the ninth-best defensive rating last season but has since fallen to 16th in 2025. The 34-18 Knicks must pick that up to keep pace with the 37-16 Celtics, who currently boast a top-five offensive and defensive team rating.

Fans React to Post Malone “Throwing Shade” at the Kansas City Chiefs During His Tailgate Concert

Many NFL fans believe that referees give the Kansas City Chiefs a little more leeway than other teams. The belief is so popular that memes calling officials the team’s MVP and an AI-generated photo of Patrick Mahomes kissing a ref make the rounds nearly every time the team takes the field. Post Malone got in on the fun during his pre-Super Bowl concert earlier today (February 9).

Fans React to Post Malone "Throwing Shade" at the Kansas City Chiefs During His Tailgate Concert - American Songwriter

Malone took the stage just outside of the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana this afternoon. He worked through some of his biggest hits, getting the tailgate crowd amped for the big game. He even threw a little shade at the Chiefs during the show. “I wrote this song about the Chiefs and the referees,” he told the crowd as his band played the opening notes of “I Had Some Help.”

Fans React to Post Malone’s Kansas City Chiefs Joke

Fans watching Post Malone’s Tailgate Concert on YouTube took to social media to react to his “I Had Some Help” intro.

One fan quoted the intro and added, “That’s my crazy kid.”

“Post Malone a savage introducing ‘I Had Some Help’ as a song he wrote about the Chiefs and the refs,” another fan wrote, adding an eagle emoji to their post.

“Even Post Malone calling out the Chiefs and the refs HAHAHAHA,” another fan tweeted.

Another viewer opined that Malone’s “shade towards the chiefs” was “so good,” punctuating their take on the joke with a pair of crying laughing emojis.

More fans chimed in calling Malone a “savage” and a “legend.” At the same time, no one jumped to defend the Chiefs. Maybe Kansas City fans were just busy doing something else before the big game.

After he finished playing “I Had Some Help,” Malone assured the fans that he didn’t mean anything by the joke. He told them he made the joke in “good taste” before moving on with the performance. This makes perfect sense. After all, Malone doesn’t have a dog in the fight today. Earlier in the show, he let everyone know that he believed the Dallas Cowboys should be playing in the Super Bowl.

Jayson Tatum said he tried to put on a show for Denzel Washington during 40-point performance

There were numerous celebrities in attendance for Celtics-Knicks Saturday night. Chris Rock, Larry David, and Denzel Washington were just a few of those in attendance.

But it was Jayson Tatum who stole the show. Tatum scored 40 points and made seven of his 14 3-point attempts as the Celtics coasted to a 131-104 victory over the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

After the game, Tatum was asked what his mindset was like heading into the nationally televised game. The Celtics were coming off a loss to Dallas in a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals. Anthony Davis did not play in that game, and the Mavericks still won easily.

But, the Celtics were able to regain their footing Saturday night and leave the divisional showdown with a win.

“We lost last game, and then finding out that KP was out right before the game, knew it was going to be a challenge,” Tatum said. “And then I saw Denzel Washington sitting courtside and I was excited about that.”

“Had to put on a show?” a reporter asked Tatum.

    “Tried to,” Tatum responded.

The Celtics jumped out to a double-digit lead in the first quarter and held it. Tatum was the catalyst, scoring the first basket of the game on a dunk over New York’s Precious Achiuwa. Tatum got to the rim consistently, and his 3-point shot was falling.

Tatum said he does not take the feeling of playing well at Madison Square Garden for granted.

“Besides Boston, it’s probably the best place to play,” Tatum said. “They’ve got all the celebrities. But, they also have an edge about them. They know basketball, they’re passionate, they’re chanting and cheering the whole time, so it is a special place to play.”

Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla said Tatum’s performance was special.

“He was ready to play and that was special,” Mazzulla said. “Just thought he did a great job taking what the defense gave him, whether it was for him or for his teammates. His ability to just play versus different coverages throughout the game, gwt the shot that he wants and play with his sense of poise. That was a special performance.”

Payton Pritchard, who scored 25 points off the bench in the win, said Tatum set the tone for the win.

“I thought Jayson did an unbelievable job tonight too,” Pritchard said. “He didn’t rush his shots, he got to his spots, and he was money. He broke the lead open for us and that’s what a superstar does, what he did tonight.”

Milwaukee Bucks: Damian Lillard and Gary Trent Jr. Make Franchise History in 135-127 Win Over 76ers

Going into this past offseason, the Milwaukee Bucks made it a priority to bring in accurate three-point shooters to compliment the penetrating strengths of stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. Most notably, general manager Jon Horst brought in sharpshooters Taurean Prince and Gary Trent Jr.

Milwaukee Bucks, Damian Lillard, Philadelphia 76ers

And while the Bucks may be just 28-23 (after starting the season 2-8), their three-point shooting, overall, has not been a disappointment. Prince ranks fifth in the NBA in three-point percentage with 45.6% and Trent is 14th with 42.8%.

Indeed, the Bucks (like every NBA team) are at their best when their shooters are making their shots. Such was the case on Sunday in their 135-127 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Milwaukee Bucks Sharpshooters Damian Lillard and Gary Trent Jr. Make Franchise History vs the Philadelphia 76ers

Playing without Giannis, who will be out for “weeks” with a calf strain (the same injury that kept him out of the first round of the NBA Playoffs last year), Lillard took over the game and dictated everything that happened on the court.

He finished with 43 points, seven, eight assists, and two steals while shooting 14/27 from the field (8/15 from three) and 7/7 from the line.

Trent Jr., who came off the bench as he has for most of the season, scored 23 points, a season-high, to go with six rebounds, three assists, and three steals. He shot 7/20 from the floor (7/15 from three) and was 2/3 from the line.

Per the Bucks, Lillard and Trent became the first pair of teammates in franchise history to both have seven made three pointers in the same game:

Led by Lillard and Trent, Milwaukee had a season-high 24 three-point shots made in their win over Philadelphia.

AJ Green, who is 13th in the NBA in three-point percentage with 42.9%, made two of his four attempts and scored 11 points. Bobby Portis was 2/3 from down town off the bench while posting a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds (to go with five assists).

Newcomer Kyle Kuzma played his first game in front of the home crowd and got his first start with the Bucks. He had 13 points, eight rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a block. He was 1/6 from three.

Brook Lopez finished his night with 15 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks while going 2/5 from beyond the arc. Prince was just 2/7 from three, but had 10 points, four rebounds, and two assists.

Ryan Rollins was the only other Bucks player who saw the floor, and he played for just four minutes, scoring two points and dishing out three assists in that time.

It will be interesting to see how the older Bucks respond to their heavy minutes load from Sunday when they take on the Golden State Warriors (and their new star Jimmy Butler) tomorrow night.

Swift didn’t look as if she was too familiar or comfortable being booed by a large crowd

Trump seen with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell at Super Bowl LIX

Taylor Swift isn’t on her “Eras Tour” anymore.

The pop star showed up to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Sunday, and the fans there gave her a loud chorus of boos when she was shown on the Caesars Superdome jumbotron.

Swift didn’t look as if she was too familiar or comfortable being booed by a large crowd as her expression turned to visibly nervous confusion once the chorus began.

Swift is attending her second Super Bowl after showing up at last year’s big game in Las Vegas to cheer on her boyfriend and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Many NFL fans have come to be critical of the constant displaying of Swift during broadcasts and on jumbotrons dating back to last season.

Her booing by the crowd also coincided with a heavy barrage of boos that welcomed the Chiefs as a team when they ran through the tunnel prior to the game.

Taylor Swift and friends at Super Bowl 2024

Swift, as Kelce’s girlfriend, has quickly become an iconic figure within the Chiefs franchise. But Swift’s football roots are with the Eagles, as she grew up an Eagles fan in Pennsylvania.

Swift and her father abandoned this fandom when she started dating Kelce last season, so the crowd treated her accordingly in New Orleans.

And before Swift was booed relentlessly by the Superdome crowd, that same crowd gave a raucous cheer to President Donald Trump when he was shown on screen prior to the game.

    Donald Trump/Taylor Swift

Trump was standing in between New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson and Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, during the national anthem, which also received a loud roar from the crowd before kickoff.

Swift infamously endorsed former Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election on Sept. 10. Days after Swift announced her endorsement, Trump sent a post on Truth Social that read “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”

The crowd in the Superdome on Sunday seems to be more aligned with Trump on that argument.

Blake Shelton Reveals One Way He Is Following in George Strait’s Footsteps

Fans call George Strait the King of Country Music for a reason. He has been releasing top-notch tunes since the early ‘80s. The Texas native also helped to swing the genre back toward traditional country music during his reign over the charts in the ‘80s and ‘90s. Maybe, more importantly, Strait has influenced countless artists including Blake Shelton.

17 Things You Didn't Know About Blake Shelton | iHeart

Recently, Shelton took part in the Country Music Association’s High Notes series to talk about this latest single “Texas.” While talking about the song, he reflected on the impact that Strait has had on him and the rest of the country music world.

Blake Shelton on the Impact and Influence of George Strait

Blake Shelton’s latest single “Texas” contains multiple nods to George Strait. Notably, it references “Amarillo by Morning” and “All My Ex’s Live in Texas” in the chorus. During the interview, he discussed Strait’s influence.

“It’s hard to measure George Strait’s influence on my career because he has been a constant presence my entire country music fan life. Since I can remember, he’s been on the radio—way before I knew I wanted to be a country artist, way after I became a country artist,” Shelton said. “the amount of artists that he’s influenced, the different generations that he’s influenced, and he’s going to continue to influence. Additionally, Shelton revealed how he tries to follow in Strait’s footsteps over the years. “I just love his sound. I love the way that he’s always stayed true to himself but made new different-sounding records.
