Blake Lively sat out the 2025 Super Bowl after making a memorable appearance alongside pal Taylor Swift at last year’s game.

The actress, 37, who is currently in the middle of a heated legal battle with her It Ends With Us costar and director Justin Baldoni, did not attend the football game on Sunday, Feb. 9.

Swift, 35, showed up to root for boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs alongside Ice Spice, who also sat with Lively and Swift last year. Though the Chiefs won in 2024, they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, 22 to 40, at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

After she attended the big game in February 2024, Lively documented the outing on Instagram, writing, “Last week I left my kids for the first time ever and wore pants that were shoes. I took pictures upside down and had no clue. I treated a friendship bracelet like a Flat Stanley for my husband like I didn’t realize it wasn’t ‘07. I borrowed more jewelry than the skeleton in the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. And I went clubbing.”

The mom of four joked at the time, “Now I know what my episode of the Twilight Zone would look like.”

The ongoing legal battle between Lively and Baldoni, 41, began in December, when the actress sued Baldoni, alleging sexual harassment and a retaliatory smear campaign, which he denied.

On Jan. 6, the actress’ legal team said in a statement that her “serious claims of sexual harassment and retaliation” are “backed by concrete facts.” They added, “This is not a ‘feud’ arising from ‘creative differences’ or a ‘he said/she said’ situation.”

Later, Baldoni filed a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, 48, and their publicist Leslie Sloane, alleging extortion, defamation and more.

In January, Swift was mentioned in Baldoni’s complaint, when Lively referred to the musician as one of her “dragons,” using a Game of Thrones reference in an alleged text exchange with Baldoni. Swift, who has a song featured in It Ends With Us, has not spoken out about the legal battle.

Lawyers from both sides came face to face in court for the first time on Feb. 3, for a pre-trial conference, where the judge warned them to refrain from litigating the case in the public forum. Baldoni and Lively’s trial is currently scheduled for March 2026.

HAPPY TIME: Giannis Antetokounmpo spends quality time with his wife and children at the Marousi playground in the suburbs of Athens

Many people found joy at the playground on Amarysias Artemidos Street in Maroussi when they saw Giannis Antetokounmpo, his pregnant partner Maria, and their two children. Giannis is straightforward, personable, and always has a smile on his face when he is around young children.

After Antetokounmpo parked his enormous car next to a playground, the family got out. But for his followers who flocked to snap photos with him, Giannis is a great role model—a humble and modest example of a person.

Giannis has been making the most of his holiday in Greece for a few weeks now, striking a balance between working out, relaxing, and investing. Purchasing a family-friendly housing complex in Paleo Psychiko was one of his most recent moves; construction was completed a few weeks ago, though there is still some work to be done.

The most luxurious complex is located in a tranquil Palaio Psychikos district, next to the building that houses the State’s General Archives. The overall area of the building on the 1,585 square meter parcel of land utilized for residential purposes is 998.27 square meters.

Bucks’ Giannis Antetokounmpo to miss All-Star Game with calf injury

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss next Sunday’s 2025 NBA All-Star Game due to a calf injury, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania. Shams’ report says Antetokounmpo is expected to return shortly after the All-Star break, while NBA insider Chris Haynes says the Bucks star is set to miss “2-3 weeks.”

Giannis had already been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Antetokounmpo hasn’t played since last Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies, a loss in which he had 30 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists in 37 minutes.

The Bucks star was ruled out the next night against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to a knee injury, but it’s the calf injury that has kept him out of the last two games. He will miss three more games ahead of the All-Star break (vs. 76ers, vs. Golden State Warriors, at Minnesota Timberwolves). Milwaukee returns to action after the All-Star festivities against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday, Feb. 20.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will pick Giannis Antetokounmpo’s All-Star replacement. Antetokounmpo was Charles Barkley’s second pick in the 2025 NBA All-Star Game Draft.

It has been a roller-coaster season for the Bucks. After a brutal 2-8 start, Milwaukee bounced back and hit a high water mark of eight games over .500 on two occasions in late January. But the team has slipped back to a 27-23 mark after a loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Friday.

That loss to the Hawks was Kyle Kuzma’s first action after his trade from the Washington Wizards. The Bucks sent out franchise stalwart Khris Middleton in what was a somewhat controversial deal. Kuzma’s first outing was a rough one, with the veteran forward scoring 12 points on 4-of-13 shooting and posting a minus-15 in the box score. With Giannis Antetokounmpo sidelined, Milwaukee will need more from its new acquisition to help pick up the slack.

Milwaukee is currently fifth in the Eastern Conference thanks to its recent slide. The Bucks are just 1.5 games behind the Indiana Pacers for the No. 4 seed, but this is going to be a tough stretch of games leading up to the All-Star break without The Greek Freak. The sixth-seeded Detroit Pistons are two games back.

‘We Haven’t Practiced Together’: Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Comment on Damian Lillard May Concern Bucks Fans

Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo Didn’t Work Out Together During the Summer

The Milwaukee Bucks, who were beset by coaching and injury concerns last season, are hoping that their star tandem of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard can have more success this time around. Giannis disclosed during Bucks media day that he and Lillard had not worked out together this summer; Lillard would later reaffirm this in interviews during media day.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard were brought together by the Milwaukee Bucks to win the NBA title together. However, it looks like they haven’t trained together this offseason

“No, we didn’t physically train together. My plan was to travel to Greece. I had planned to travel to Greece, but I was unable to go since they had started camp in preparation for the Olympics. However, it was all.”

“However, even though we didn’t work out together, I feel like we’re on a better page with him today than I did the year before. Getting on the same page was more important than anything else.”

Giannis and coach Doc Rivers, who joined in the middle of the previous season, are two players with whom Lillard is better familiar, he said.

“I’ve learned Giannis’s game better than when I first arrived. I know Doc better now than I did when he first came here. This time, we don’t have to go through that procedure once more.”

Despite having a disappointing season in his first season with the Bucks, Damian Lillard averaged 24.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 7.0 assists last season. Being one of the league’s oldest clubs at the moment, he will be hoping that this season would bring him and his team some luck. With little resources to further modify the team, the franchise must aim for a championship this year.

Why Are Taylor Swift, Brittany Mahomes and More Chiefs WAGs Wearing White at the 2025 Super Bowl?

The wives and girlfriends of the NFL team were likely intentional about coordinating in the shade

Taylor Swift and the other Chiefs WAGs might have a very specific reason for wearing white outfits at Super Bowl LIX.

Swift, 35, arrived to the Sunday, Feb. 9 game to support her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, in a white tank Alaïa tan top and Saint Laurent blazer, bejeweled Monday Denim hot pants and thigh-high Paris Texas boots. Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also showed up in white, opting for custom Chiefs jeans, a corset and cropped jacket.

Fellow WAGs followed suit. Erica Watson, wife of Chiefs wide receiver Justin Watson, went for a white jumpsuit with embellished pants and her husband’s number, 84, written in Chiefs red across the chest.

While some fans assumed Swift and the rest of the WAGs would arrive in Chiefs red (as the singer has done in the past), the white color scheme was likely intentional. Wearing the hue could be a nod to the white jerseys that the Chiefs are sporting as they face off against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Super Bowl LIX is being played at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, a neutral location to the participating teams. Even so, there is a designated home team and away team. This year, the Eagles are serving as the home team and therefore had first choice in jersey color. They opted to wear their home green jerseys, meaning Kansas City must wear white, per SI.

The WAGs choice in color palette likely references the white jerseys worn by their significant others and is a sign of support for the team they’re rooting for.

It also might be something of a good luck charm. SI reports that 64% of teams that elected to wear white uniforms in the Super Bowl have won.

“Interestingly enough, both teams playing in Super Bowl LIX were among the only teams to go against that trend during that span: the 2018 Eagles, the 2020 and ’24 Chiefs, and the the 2011 Green Bay Packers all won wearing color jerseys,” the outlet points out.

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles are facing off in the 2025 Super Bowl, airing on Fox on Sunday, Feb. 9.

NEW PLAN: Giannis Antetokounmpo struggles to experience Pilates for the first time at Alimos

Giannis Antetokounmpo is constantly looking for new ways to get better at every level. Somehow, the Greek Freak has incorporated pilates into their training program to achieve even more flexibility and balance.

Just before Bucks practice began, newlywed Giannis Antetokounmpo was making sure to stay in shape. In addition to weights, aerobics, and of course basketball, the Greek Freak’s training program also includes pilates!

The 30-year-old NBA superstar visited a specialized center in Alimos – wearing a Greek National Team jersey, of course – and showed that even a 2.11 body can comfortably perform this type of exercise.

Despite his initial challenges, Giannis displayed determination and a willingness to learn during the session. His towering frame and muscular build posed unique challenges, requiring adjustments to accommodate his physique. As he navigated through the exercises, his focus and commitment shone through, showcasing his relentless drive for improvement both on and off the basketball court.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s foray into Pilates not only highlights his versatility as an athlete but also emphasizes the importance of stepping out of one’s comfort zone to explore new ways of enhancing physical well-being.

Nikola Jokic’s Brutally Honest Statement on Luka Doncic Trade to Lakers

The NBA is now dominated by international stars like Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, Victor Wembanyama, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, as the league continues its global expansion.

On Saturday, one of the league’s biggest international icons was unexpectedly traded to its largest market when the Dallas Mavericks sent franchise point guard Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers.

The move stunned the entire league, as Doncic is undoubtedly a top-three player in the NBA and was fresh off an NBA Finals appearance. Following the shocking trade, Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic, another of the league’s premier international stars, revealed that he reached out to Doncic.

“I text him,” Jokic said. “He felt it, of course. I think he didn’t expect it, of course. I think he just needs to be with family right now, it’s a big move. It’s a business, I don’t know. I think nobody expected it, especially him. I think nobody is safe in the league. But I think he’s going to do a good job. I think he’s the player for a big scene, even though I thought in Dallas he had something special going.”

A player of Doncic’s caliber getting traded without notice and without a request is unheard of in today’s NBA and has many of the league’s top stars wondering if they will be next.

Jokic’s honest message is likely how the majority of the league is feeling after the groundbreaking deal and gives insight into how even Doncic was shocked after the unexpected trade.

On Monday night, Andrew Wiggins made his debut for the Miami Heat.

They lost to the Boston Celtics by a score of 103-85.

Wiggins finshed the loss with 11 points, five rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block while shooting 3/12 from the field in 30 minutes of playing time.

Many people reacted to his performance on social media.

@Xavier0X: “heat media tried to sell u on andrew wiggins”

@janderson22_: “tatum has broken the andrew wiggins code.”

@Wrestle_4_Real: “They going to be better off without Jimmy Butler”

@terrychildress_: “This a fire acquisition lowkey. Miami just a star away now.”

@eeanalmonte: “Why would Miami do this to their newly traded player, Andrew Wiggins?

All of the actual good players are sitting for Miami against BOSTON

Rough start shooting 1 of 7 by Wiggins”

@g12_lj: “Heat really traded a top 3 player they ever had for this bum”

@caaspeer30: “Spo set him up man , he really had him stay in the 3 point line 99% of the game when clearly he is a drive to the basket player”

@TwoWayDav: “Elite defense and Spo just didn’t have him in the right role.

He’ll be fine when Tyler comes back”

Wiggins came into the night with averages of 17.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per contest while shooting 44.4% from the field and 37.9% from the three-point range in 43 games.

The Heat dropped to 25-26 in 51 games, which has them as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Patrick Mahomes opens up on Travis Kelce's future after Kansas City Chiefs tight end's silence

As the dust settles on the Kansas City Chiefs’ busted three-peat quest following Sunday night’s Super Bowl LIX defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles, attention will soon turn to next season. One key question for the Chiefs is whether or not Travis Kelce will return for a 13th season with the franchise amid rumours that the 35-year-old is pondering retirement.

Kelce managed just four catches for 39 yards against the rampant Eagles defense, a huge contrast from his performance in the Super Bowl 12 months earlier, when he hauled in nine balls for 93 yards as the San Francisco 49ers were dispatched in overtime.

This came after Kelce registered career lows in catches, receiving yards (823), yards per reception (8.5) and touchdowns (three) since he became a starter in 2014.

Following the defeat at the Superdome, Kelce briefly spoke to reporters in the Chiefs locker room, but did not address his future.

“This one’s going to hurt,” he said

“They just got after us in all three phases, and on top of that, turnovers, penalties, playing behind the sticks on offense, dropped passes, not taking advantage of the play call and executing them.

“There’s a lot that goes into them. You don’t lose that bad without everything going bad.”

Kelce’s two fourth-quarter receptions saw him break Jerry Rice’s record for the most catches in Super Bowl history, but that will be only the smallest of silver linings for the tight end.

Patrick Mahomes was asked about his teammate’s future following the defeat, but would not speculate.

“I’ll let Travis make that decision on his own,” Mahomes said, as per NFL Network. “He’s given so much to this team and to the NFL and been such a joy, not only for me to work with but for people to watch.

“He knows he still has a lot of football left in him. You can see it. He always makes plays in the biggest moments.

“But it’s if he wants to put in that grind ’cause it’s a grind to go out there and play 20 games, whatever it is, and get to the Super Bowl.

“He’s done enough to be a gold jacket guy and a first-ballot Hall of Famer, but I know he’s still got a love for the game. He’ll get to spend some time with his family and make that decision on his own. He knows he’ll come back here with welcome arms.

“We love that guy, not only for the football player but the person that he is every single day.”

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce looked stunned during their Super Bowl loss

The Kansas City Chiefs saw their three-peat dreams shattered after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, but Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce reacted very differently.

The Chiefs were humbled by the Eagles after suffering a 40-22 loss in New Orleans, although things could have been a lot worse as they trailed 24-0 at halftime. Both Mahomes and Kelce were poor during Sunday’s game, as the Chiefs quarterback threw two interceptions – both of which led to touchdowns – and the tight end had just four catches for 39 yards.

While both players were heartbroken, Kelce decided not to face the media and skipped his postgame press conference, answering a few questions in the locker room before leaving Caesars Superdome. Mahomes, on the other hand, sat in his press conference for 15 minutes and pinned the blame on himself.

As the signal caller, the offense runs through Mahomes, but although he endured one of the worst games of his career, his teammates didn’t help. Only wide receiver Xavier Worthy stood out for the Chiefs, but the entire running back room, Kelce, DeAndre Hopkins, and Hollywood Brown, failed to make an impact.

“Credit to the Eagles, man,” Mahomes said in his postgame press conference. “They played better than us from start to finish. Obviously, the turnovers hurt. I take all the blame for that…. It’s hard to come back from that in a Super Bowl.”

Mahomes later added: “I can’t turn the ball over early in the game when it’s not going our way, I’ll have to learn from that and try to be better the next opportunity that I hopefully get. Hopefully we can learn from this… and try to continue to get even better, because it’s going to take better football, especially from me, in order to try to make a run at another Super Bowl.”

The Chiefs’ franchise star may be Mahomes, but Kelce is a close-second when it comes to popularity. Kelce’s face said it all once the loss was confirmed, and the tight end left the stadium extremely quickly as he wanted to escape the noise.

Kelce made himself available for questions for about two minutes, calling it the worst game of the Chiefs’ season. No reporters asked Kelce about his future following speculation over his retirement, and fans are starting to wonder whether his emotions and reluctance to face the wider media means his NFL career may be over.

But Mahomes doesn’t think so. “He knows he has a lot of football left in him. You can see it, he always makes plays in the biggest moments, but it’s if he wants to put in that grind,” the quarterback said after being asked about his teammate’s future.

“It’s a grind out there to play 20 games, or whatever it is, and get to a Super Bowl. He’s done enough to be a gold-jacket guy, a first-ballot Hall-of-Famer. I know he still has love for the game, and he’ll get to spend some time with his family and make that decision on his own, but he knows he’ll come back here with open arms.”

(NEW ORLEANS) — Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes opened up on the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl defeat and Kelce’s future after falling to the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22 on Sunday night.

“There’s a lot that goes into it. You don’t lose like that without everything going bad,” Kelce said, speaking to reporters after game.

“Couldn’t get it going offensively. I mean they just got after us on all three phases — and then on top of that, turnovers, penalties,” the Chiefs tight end explained.

He added that in his eyes, the most surprising element of the game was “that we haven’t played that bad all year.”

Kelce highlighted a bright spot for the Chiefs, noting their late game push. “This team is going to fight ’till the end forever, and you saw that, even with the score late, we’re always going to fight,” he said.

The three-time Super Bowl champion said Chiefs coach Andy Reid delivered a teaching moment to the team after the game. He said Reid’s message was, “This one’s gonna hurt. Let it hurt, and figure out how to get better because of it.”

Mahomes talks Kelce’s potential retirement, Super Bowl loss

Star quarterback Mahomes, meanwhile, discussed Kelce’s future while speaking with reporters after the game.

When asked if he would begin to encourage Kelce to come back to the Chiefs next year for his 13th NFL season, Mahomes said he would be patient with his teammate.

“I’ll let Travis make that decision on his own, man,” Mahomes said. “He’s given so much to this team and to the NFL and been such a joy not only for me to work with, but for people to watch.”

He continued, “He knows he still has a lot of football left in him. You can see it. He always makes plays in the biggest moments.”

Mahomes said the decision will come down to whether his teammate still wants to put in the hard work to get through another NFL season.

“It’s if he wants to put in that grind, cause it’s a grind to go out there and play 20 games.”

Mahomes added that no matter Kelce’s decision, he believes his teammate’s legacy is secure as a Hall of Fame player.

“He knows, he’ll come back here with welcome arms. We love that guy not only for the football player, but the person that he is every single day,” he said.

Kelce speculated on his own future at a press conference last week in New Orleans.

“Where will I be in three years? Oh man, I don’t know. Hopefully still playing football. I love doing this. I love coming into work every day. I feel like I still got a lot of good football left in me. But, we’ll see what happens,” he said, adding that he’s explored other career options in the offseasons because “football only lasts for so long.”

In his postgame interview, Mahomes called losing a Super Bowl “the worst feeling in the world” and said the feeling “will stick with you the rest of your career.”

He added that he will use the loss as motivation moving forward.

Out of Patience! Kid Rock Stops Show Midway Through and Walks Out After Asking Audience to Clap: ‘I’m Outta Here’

Kid Rock cuts off performance, storms off after asking crowd to clap: ‘I’m gone’

Kid Rock performs on the last day of the 2024 Republican National Convention at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on July 18, 2024.

Singer and rapper Kid Rock stormed off stage at a Nashville performance over the weekend, cutting his performance short when the audience didn’t clap along to the song.

On Saturday night, Rock appeared as a special guest at the 63rd birthday party for Bon Jovi founding member and keyboardist David Bryan at JBJ’s Nashville, which is owned by Jon Bon Jovi.

Rock joined a band, which featured Bryan on the keyboard, on stage to perform a cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Proud Mary” but stopped midway through due to a lack of audience participation.

“Hey, hey, stop!” Rock said as the fellow musicians and accompanying singer paused the set. “If you ain’t going to clap, we ain’t going to sing. That’s how it’s going to work.”

Rock started clapping his hands over his head, showing the audience how he wanted them to participate. After resuming the performance, some audience members clapped along, but the amount of crowd participation seemingly wasn’t up to par for Rock.

He cut off the song again, saying, “You know what, (expletive) y’all. You ain’t gonna clap, I’m gone.”

After Rock left the stage, the band resumed the show. In an Instagram post the following day, Bryan shared a clip of Big Kenny’s special appearance and thanked the Big & Rich singer for participating. “THANK YOU FOR THE BIRTHDAY WISHES! Rocking at @jbjsnash last night with @bigkennytv!” Bryan’s caption read.

A representative for the band Bon Jovi declined to comment. USA TODAY has reached out to Rock’s team.

Rock, 54, recently hit the stage in January as a part of President Trump’s inaugural events to perform a four-song set.

He’s headed out on tour in March alongside Chris Janson and Uncle Kraker and will embark on his Rock the Country tour with Nickelback in April.
