Bon Jovi Exposed: The Untold Truth Behind America’s Most Mysterious Rock Legends

BIOGRAFIA - Bon Jovi | TRAJETORIA - HISTÓRIA

New Jersey, USA – When you think of American rock royalty, one name towers above the rest: Bon Jovi. For over four decades, this band has electrified stadiums, topped global charts, and redefined what it means to be a superstar. But beneath the dazzling lights and roaring crowds, a series of shocking secrets, hidden struggles, and mysterious twists have shaped the journey of Jon Bon Jovi and his legendary band in ways fans could never have imagined.

From Small Town Beginnings to Global Domination

It’s hard to believe that the band dominating world stages started in the unassuming streets of Sayreville, New Jersey in 1983. Jon Bon Jovi—born John Francis Bongiovi Jr.—was just a local kid with a guitar and a dream. But what most fans don’t know is that his rise to fame was anything but ordinary.

Insider sources reveal that Jon’s first foray into music wasn’t even in rock, but rather in cover bands playing R&B in smoky, underage clubs. By age 13, he had already formed his first band, Raz, and by 17, he was recording Christmas songs for Star Wars albums with his cousin, legendary producer Tony Bongiovi. The grind was relentless, the stakes were sky-high, and the future was uncertain.

The Band’s Secret Struggles and Shocking Near-Breakups

Bon Jovi’s ascent to the top was meteoric. Their debut album in 1984 went gold, and by the late 1980s, they were a household name. But behind the scenes, the pressure was mounting. Rivalries, burnout, and creative clashes nearly tore the band apart.

Bon Jovi: Um resumo da história - Rádio 92 Rock Pop Criciúma

Exclusive interviews with former insiders reveal that by 1990, the band was on the verge of collapse. “We were fighting all the time,” one former member confides. “The fame, the endless tours—it was too much. There were nights we didn’t know if we’d make it to the next show.”

Jon Bon Jovi himself reportedly retreated into isolation, writing the haunting solo album *Blaze of Glory* while questioning if Bon Jovi would ever perform together again. The world saw the glitz; the band lived the chaos.

The Reinvention No One Saw Coming

In the early 1990s, Bon Jovi faced a crossroads. Would they fade into nostalgia, or risk everything on a new sound? The answer shocked everyone. With the release of *Keep the Faith* in 1992, the band chopped their iconic hair, ditched the spandex, and embraced a grittier, more mature image.

Critics were skeptical. Fans were divided. But the gamble paid off: Bon Jovi was reborn, and their influence only grew. “It was sink or swim,” Jon confessed in a rare candid moment. “We had to evolve—or die.”

The Dark Side of Fame: Scandals, Sacrifices, and Untold Stories

But success came at a steep price. While the world cheered, the band wrestled with personal demons. Insiders whisper of wild parties, secret romances, and brushes with disaster that never made the tabloids.

One particularly chilling incident: a near-fatal crash during a tour in the Adirondacks, shrouded in secrecy. Emergency services were called, but the story was buried. Jon appeared weeks later with a mysterious bandaged arm, refusing to answer questions. Was it just an accident—or something more?

Money, Power, and the Price of Legacy

By 2011, Bon Jovi was named the second highest-grossing rock band on the planet by Rolling Stone, trailing only behind Irish supergroup U2. But with money and power came new challenges. The band’s business empire sprawled across music, real estate, and philanthropy. Rumors swirled about tense negotiations, high-stakes contracts, and the ever-present threat of lawsuits.

Yet, through it all, Bon Jovi remained fiercely loyal to their fans. “We owe everything to the people who believed in us,” Jon often says. But at what cost did that loyalty come?

The Mysterious Departures and New Beginnings

No story of Bon Jovi is complete without mentioning the shock departures and lineup changes that rocked the band. Richie Sambora, the legendary guitarist and Jon’s right-hand man, left in 2013 under circumstances that remain murky to this day. Some say it was creative differences; others whisper of deeper personal struggles.

Despite the upheaval, Bon Jovi pressed on, reinventing themselves yet again. With new members and fresh energy, they continued to fill stadiums and release chart-topping albums—defying the odds and silencing the doubters.

A Legacy Etched in Stone—and Still Unfolding

Bon Jovi’s impact on music is undeniable. With over 100 million albums sold, more than 2,700 concerts in 50 countries, and induction into both the UK Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, their place in history is secure. But the band’s greatest achievement may be their ability to adapt, survive, and thrive—no matter what the world throws their way.

The Secret to Their Success? Magic, Dreams, and the Power of Belief

Jon Bon Jovi’s message to fans has always been clear: “Believe in love. Believe in magic. Believe in yourself. Believe in your dreams—if you don’t, who will?” It’s a mantra that has carried him from the streets of New Jersey to the heights of global superstardom.

But perhaps the biggest shock of all is this: after all the drama, the losses, and the reinventions, Bon Jovi is still here—still rocking, still dreaming, and still ready to surprise the world.

    What’s Next? The Mysteries Continue…

As Bon Jovi prepares for another world tour and hints at a tell-all memoir, fans and critics alike are left wondering: What secrets remain untold? What new chapters will unfold in the saga of America’s most enigmatic rock band?

One thing is certain: the story of Bon Jovi is far from over. And as long as there are dreams to chase and roads to travel, Jon Bon Jovi and his band will be there—defying expectations, breaking the rules, and reminding us all to believe in a little magic.

Red Bank, New Jersey — For decades, Jon Bon Jovi has been a rock legend, a philanthropist, and a household name. But behind the sold-out stadiums and platinum records lies a secret passion that even his most devoted fans know little about: his obsession with a rare, classic Harley Davidson motorcycle. Now, shocking new details are emerging about how this iconic bike has shaped his life, inspired his music, and led to a series of mysterious adventures that have left friends and insiders stunned.

    A Rock Star’s Hidden Sanctuary

Tucked away in Jon Bon Jovi’s sprawling $20 million French chateau-style mansion in Red Bank sits a private garage that few have ever seen. Neighbors have whispered for years about the strange rumble of engines late at night, but only recently has the truth begun to surface. At the heart of this hidden sanctuary is a gleaming, meticulously restored Harley Davidson—rumored to be a 1942 WLA, a model originally built for World War II soldiers.

Sources close to the singer say Bon Jovi has poured hundreds of thousands of dollars into customizing the bike, blending vintage authenticity with modern luxury. “It’s not just a motorcycle. It’s Jon’s escape, his muse, and, some say, his most prized possession,” one longtime friend reveals.

The Mysterious Origins of the Bike

How did Bon Jovi acquire such a rare machine? The story is as wild as any of his chart-topping anthems. According to insiders, the Harley was discovered by chance during a charity event in rural Pennsylvania. An elderly veteran approached Bon Jovi with a cryptic message: “This bike has stories you wouldn’t believe. It belongs with someone who understands the road.”

Within weeks, the bike was delivered to Bon Jovi’s estate under a shroud of secrecy. Mechanics were sworn to silence, and the garage was outfitted with state-of-the-art security. Some say the Harley even came with a hidden compartment containing wartime memorabilia—though neither Bon Jovi nor his representatives will confirm or deny the rumors.

    Late-Night Rides and Hollywood Encounters

What does Bon Jovi do with his beloved Harley? Far more than just a collector’s item, the bike has become the centerpiece of countless late-night adventures. Security footage obtained by The American Tribune shows the rock star slipping out of his mansion after midnight, leather jacket zipped tight, as he roars down empty coastal highways.

But it’s not just the thrill of the ride that draws him back again and again. Sources claim that several A-list celebrities—including Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and even Brad Pitt—have joined Bon Jovi for secret “Harley summits.” These clandestine gatherings, held at undisclosed locations, are said to feature wild jam sessions, all-night storytelling, and heated debates about the future of rock and roll.

    A Songwriter’s Secret Weapon

Fans have long speculated about the inspiration behind Bon Jovi’s most iconic songs. Now, for the first time, insiders are revealing that many of his greatest hits were conceived during solitary rides on his classic Harley. “He’ll disappear for hours, riding through the backroads of New Jersey or up along the Hudson,” says a former bandmate. “When he comes back, he’s got a notebook full of lyrics and melodies. The bike is like his creative engine.”

One particularly shocking revelation: the haunting ballad “Wanted Dead or Alive” was reportedly written after a near-death experience on a rain-slicked road. Bon Jovi has never spoken publicly about the incident, but those close to him say it changed his outlook on life—and deepened his bond with the Harley forever.

    The Dark Side of Obsession

Not everyone is thrilled about Bon Jovi’s passion for high-speed rides. Family members and close friends have expressed concern about the risks, especially after a series of near-misses and a rumored crash in the Adirondacks last year. Though details remain scarce, emergency responders were reportedly called to the scene, and Bon Jovi was seen sporting a bandaged arm at a charity gala weeks later.

“He’s always been a risk-taker, but lately it feels like he’s pushing the limits,” confides a worried insider. “It’s almost as if he’s searching for something out there on the open road—something he can’t find anywhere else.”

A Magnet for Mystique and Rumor

The secrecy surrounding Bon Jovi’s Harley has fueled wild speculation. Some fans believe the bike is haunted, citing unexplained mechanical failures and eerie coincidences. Others claim it’s a symbol of a midlife crisis or a coded message to the music industry. Social media has exploded with theories, and die-hard followers have even organized “Harley hunts” in hopes of catching a glimpse of the elusive machine.

    A Legacy in Motion

Despite the rumors and risks, Bon Jovi remains unapologetic about his obsession. In a rare interview, he offered a tantalizing glimpse into his mindset: “The road is where I find myself. On that bike, I’m not a rock star. I’m just a guy chasing freedom, one mile at a time.”

As he prepares for a new world tour and hints at a possible memoir, fans are left wondering: what secrets does the Harley still hold? Will Bon Jovi finally reveal the full story behind his most treasured possession—or will the legend only grow with time?

What’s Next for Bon Jovi and His Harley?

For now, the answers remain locked behind the gates of his Red Bank estate. But one thing is certain: Jon Bon Jovi’s classic Harley Davidson is more than just a motorcycle. It’s a symbol of rebellion, creativity, and the enduring power of the open road—a story that, like its owner, refuses to be tamed.

Stay tuned as The American Tribune continues to investigate the mysteries behind rock’s most intriguing ride. What’s really happening on those midnight highways? And what other secrets might Jon Bon Jovi be hiding in plain sight?

The public is obsessed with Lively vs. Baldoni because it’s modern-day David and Goliath: ‘No Filter’ host

The public is obsessed with Lively vs. Baldoni because it’s a modern-day David and Goliath: ‘No Filter’ host

“I feel like culturally, we love a takedown story, right?” podcast host Zack Peter says

The court battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has been making headlines for months, and “No Filter” podcast host Zack Peter says that’s because the story could be of biblical proportions.

The drama between the “It Ends with Us” co-stars began shortly after the release of the film last summer, which is based on the book of the same name by Colleen Hoover. The story portrays a powerful message about a woman walking away from an abusive relationship. Before the film was released, fans were concerned that Lively seemed to be losing sight of the film’s message about domestic violence by frequently talking about fashion and hair products.

Then came the rumors of a feud between the film’s stars. Lively made the first move, filing a complaint against Baldoni with the California Department of Civil Rights, accusing him of harassment and retaliation. Baldoni countered that Lively “wrongly” accused him in an effort to repair her reputation after they were accused of controlling the film. Baldoni filed a lawsuit against Lively on January 16, suing the actress and her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, for $400 million in a civil defamation and extortion complaint, among other charges. A more detailed timeline of their bitter feud can be found here.

According to Peter, the public appears to have taken sides.

“I think there are so many elements to the Blake and Baldoni story that, I mean, one, I feel like culturally we love a takedown story, right?” Peter recently told Fox News Digital. “If someone is big and on top of a pedestal, we want to see them come down. That’s just part of the culture. But I think what we’re seeing, despite people being tired of Hollywood in general, is that we’re seeing two very powerful players in Hollywood, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively, clearly taking advantage of someone who they see as much lower on the totem pole.”

He describes their battle as a modern-day David and Goliath. Lively and Ryan Reynolds are Hollywood’s “it” power couple, up against the lesser-known and less-connected actor, Baldoni.

“And so I think we’re in this David and Goliath story, and the public is rooting for Justin Baldoni because they see that he’s David against the big machine that used to have control, right?” Peter mused. “I think there’s an element of knockdown. We want to see Hollywood fall. We want to see these elite, powerful celebrities humbled and know that their tricks aren’t working anymore. And then I think we’re also tired of media manipulation, right? Like Hollywood PR tactics and the mainstream media, I feel like those two things are finally starting to get people to see behind the curtain.”

“We’ve met Oz, and now, at this point, we don’t want to be lied to anymore, or we don’t want to be influenced to believe one thing or another,” he continued. “And now we really want to see these people held accountable and stop using their power to take advantage of people who are more vulnerable.”

Fox News Digital has reached out to Lively and Baldoni for comment.

Lively and Baldoni’s back-and-forth legal battle appears to be endless. After both filed their respective lawsuits against the other, neither has shown any signs of settling out of court.

A trial date is set for March 2026.

Jon Bon Jovi is very much alive, despite a wave of confusion online sparked by the death of a notable artist linked to the band.

Fans were left stunned earlier this week when rumors swirled on social media falsely claiming the rock legend had died.

The speculation began after the confirmed passing of Ioannis Vasilopoulos, a renowned Greek-American artist and designer who created iconic album cover art for Bon Jovi and other legendary rock bands. Vasilopoulos died on April 7, 2025, at the age of 66.

According to his obituary, Ioannis was deeply influenced by American comic books, fantasy art, and rock music. His admiration for album cover artists like Roger Dean and Storm Thorgerson helped shape his career in the music industry. Beyond Bon Jovi, he collaborated with Deep Purple, the Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Michael Bolton, among others.

The mix-up occurred when reports about Vasilopoulos’ passing were misinterpreted, leading some to believe Jon Bon Jovi had died. The rumors quickly gained traction across social media platforms, prompting confusion and concern from fans.

Bon Jovi’s representatives have not issued a formal statement, but multiple sources have confirmed that the 63-year-old singer is alive and well.
While fans expressed relief, the moment has also served to highlight the legacy of Ioannis Vasilopoulos and his lasting impact on the visual identity of rock music.

Bon Jovi’s Shocking Comeback: Rock Icon Announces Long-Awaited Concert—But There’s a Catch That Has Fans Stunned and Speculation Running Wild

Bon Jovi Plots Comeback Concert – But There’s a Catch

Bon Jovi is returning to the stage this summer. Unfortunately, only a lucky few will be there.

The group hasn’t toured since 2022, as frontman Jon Bon Jovi dealt with a throat issue that threatened his voice. His only appearance since was a mini-set in February at the MusiCares awards in Los Angeles. Bon Jovi is now scheduled to play this June in Nashville, but only in an “intimate private performance” at a “secret location” as part of an exclusive weekend travel package. No show-only tickets will be sold.

Dates are June 13-15, 2025, with pricing that includes three days and two nights at the JW Marriott in Nashville. A fan party is also scheduled at Bon Jovi’s local restaurant, JBJ’s Nashville. Trip packages go on sale at noon ET on Monday, April 14. They are available exclusively at runawaytours.com.

“I just wish there was a fucking light switch,” Bon Jovi told The Guardian last summer. “I’m more than capable of singing again. The bar is now: Can I do two and a half hours a night, four nights a week? The answer is no.”

In the meantime, Bon Jovi said he was putting together a re-release of Forever with special guest duets. “This is an album that we’re very proud of,” he told Sound on Sound, “and I think it’s the best Bon Jovi record since [2007’s] Lost Highway or at least [2005’s] Have a Nice Day.”

Bon Jovi Albums Ranked Worst to Best

    16. What About Now (2013)
    16. What About Now (2013)

    Island

    17. ‘What About Now’ (2013)

The band’s 2013 album suffers from a lack of Richie Sambora. Reportedly busy with his third solo album, the guitarist co-wrote only five of the songs on ‘What About Now.’ It’s also been rumored that producer John Shanks plays a significant amount of guitar in Sambora’s absence. Of the album’s 12 tracks, only “Pictures of You” is distinctive. Otherwise, ‘What About Now’ is barren of ingenuity, and features downright dreadful production and songwriting.

    15. This House is Not For Sale (2016)
    15. This House is Not For Sale (2016)

    Island

    16. ‘This House is Not For Sale’ (2016)

On their first new album without guitarist Richie Sambora, the hope was that Bon Jovi would say something new, take a musical U-turn or at the very least, shred away the layers of overwrought production that has hindered much of their post-2002 work. Sadly, ‘This House is Not for Sale’ merely offers a modified version of that same underachieving group.

    13. Lost Highway (2007)
    13. Lost Highway (2007)

    Island

    15. ‘Lost Highway’ (2007)

‘Lost Highway’ is a methodically calculated album made for country music fans, who still bought CDs en masse in 2007. It finds Bon Jovi once again submerging their talents in favor of hunting commercial success at any cost – spiraling down a creative sinkhole from which they have yet to recover. “Any Other Day” and “(You Want to) Make a Memory” are among the band’s best recent offerings. However, they are overwhelmed by innocuous and ghastly songs (“I Love This Town,” “We Got It Going On”) that even the most derivative modern country artists would have left in the outtakes bin.

    14. Bounce (2002)
    14. Bounce (2002)

    Island

    14. ‘Bounce’ (2002)

Only seven songs from Bon Jovi’s first seven albums clocked in at less than four minutes. One of them was “It’s My Life,” the 2000 smash that resurrected the band’s fortunes in the U.S. Perhaps as a result, seven songs on 2002’s ‘Bounce’ take up less than 240 seconds. Unfortunately, this emphasis on brevity stilted the group’s creativity and undercuts the seriousness of the record’s 9/11-themed material. But the bigger problem was that the band abandoned its musical identity and instincts in favor of blatantly chasing commercial trends.

    11. The Circle (2009)
    11. The Circle (2009)

    Island

    13. ‘The Circle’ (2009)

Inspired by the financial crisis of 2008, ‘The Circle’ has the musical heft of an after-school special about the dangers of caffeine pills. While attempting to fly the flag for blue-collar America on “Work for the Working Man” the band instead winds up looking short on self-awareness. The record has moments of strength, notably the audacious “When We Were Beautiful.” In concert, “Love’s the Only Rule” later blossomed into a nine-minute muscular masterwork. But partly due to overbearing production, on record it’s indistinguishable from the album’s other irredeemable songs.

    12. Burning Bridges (2015)
    12. Burning Bridges (2015)

    Mercury

    12. ‘Burning Bridges’ (2015)

Released in 2015 as a contractual obligation, the aptly named ‘Burning Bridges’ consists of outtakes going back to 2005, Bon Jovi’s weakest creative period. It’s stronger than one would expect, avoiding the lowest pitfalls of their more recent albums. “A Teardrop to the Sea” is the most innovative song the group has released in more than a decade, while “Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning” captures their youthful splendor.

    11. 2020 (2020)
    11. 2020 (2020)

    Island

    11. ‘2020’ (2020)

‘2020’ finds Bon Jovi returning to the mature themes they explored on ‘Keep the Faith’ and ‘These Days’ in the ’90s. While the ghost of former guitarist Richie Sambora continues to haunt their overall aesthetic and sound, the band succeeds in pulling together its most coherent album in more than a decade. Aside from the well-intentioned misfire of “Do What You Can,” the album encompasses some of their boldest compositions. They’re not afraid to confront the current state of America and hot-button issues such as gun control (“Lower the Flag”), the search for truth in a sea of fake news (“Blood in the Water”) and the tragic death of George Floyd (“American Reckoning”). ‘2020’ may not reach the heights of Bon Jovi’s peak period (1986-2000), but it serves as a reminder that they should never be underestimated.

    10. Forever (2024)
    10. Forever (2024)

    Island

    10. ‘Forever’ (2024)

While the absence of guitarist Richie Sambora will forever cast a long shadow over every Bon Jovi album made without him, ‘Forever’ is their most uniform collection of songs without him. Embracing their history with earnestness and sincerity, Jon Bon Jovi’s first-person narratives (“Legendary”, “My First Guitar”, “Kiss the Bride”) make it his most personal album in years. While the album has many of the same pitfalls of their modern era, outside collaborators Ed Sheeran, Ryan Tedder and Jason Isbell give the album a freshness and edge missing from their previous decade of work.

    8. 7800 Fahrenheit (1985)
    8. 7800 Fahrenheit (1985)

    Mercury

    9. ‘7800 Fahrenheit’ (1985)

Written and recorded in less than five months, Bon Jovi’s second album displays some frail songwriting and patchy production. But what Bon Jovi circa 1985 lacked in dexterity they made up for in commanding and captivating performances. There isn’t a single post-2007 song from the group that has the cowbell savagery of “Always Run to You” or the sprawling earnestness of the ballad “Silent Night.”

    9. Have a Nice Day (2005)
    9. Have a Nice Day (2005)

    Island

    8. ‘Have a Nice Day’ (2005)

‘Have A Nice Day’ may not have the touchstones of Bon Jovi’s other classic records or the fearlessness of their best output, but it is a resilient collection of guitar-heavy songs. There’s a raw splendidness to the title track, and the Beach Boys-influenced “Last Cigarette” and “I Am” are retro-minded delights.

    6. Bon Jovi (1984)
    6. Bon Jovi (1984)

    Mercury

    7. ‘Bon Jovi’ (1984)

Bon Jovi’s debut is best known for the Top 40 hit “Runaway,” but overall it is a brazen, defiant and swaggering album. Recorded at a time when the core band had been together for only a few months, cuts like “Breakout,” “Get Ready” and “Shot Through the Heart” showcase flashes of brilliance. More importantly, for such a young band, the confidence and conviction on display here is remarkable.

    5. 100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Cant Be Wrong (2004)
    5. 100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Cant Be Wrong (2004)

    Island

    6. ‘100,000,000 Bon Jovi Fans Can’t Be Wrong’ (2004)

The fifty songs that make up this box set may represent the creative zenith of Bon Jovi. Eighty percent of this collection of previously unreleased material comes from the ’90s, the band’s most fertile period. The nostalgic “Miss Fourth of July” should have made ‘Keep the Faith,’ and the ‘Slippery When Wet’ B-side “Edge of a Broken Heart” may be one of the group’s five greatest recorded moments.

    7. Crush (2000)
    7. Crush (2000)

    Island

    5. ‘Crush’ (2000)

‘Crush’ was written and recorded at a time when Bon Jovi’s commercial future was in serious doubt. The colossal single “It’s My Life” re-established them as superstars, but it’s the deeper cuts that shine brightest here. The philosophical “Just Older,” the sprawling epic “Next 100 Years” and the stark loveliness of “Mystery Train” showcase an ever-evolving band still bursting with creativity.

    3. Slippery When Wet (1986)
    3. Slippery When Wet (1986)

    Mercury

    4. ‘Slippery When Wet’ (1986)

The perfect soundtrack to a three-day weekend, ‘Slippery When Wet’ showcases a hungry band expanding on its musical craft. In their search for a commercial breakthrough, Bon Jovi recruited Desmond Child to co-write, Bruce Fairburn to produce, Bob Rock to engineer and mix and Wayne Isham to direct videos. The results were an explosive and timeless collection of songs (and videos) that will forever be played at karaoke bars and stadiums around the world. From the opening organ swell of “Let It Rock” to the confetti-ready finale of “Wild in the Streets”, ‘Slippery When Wet’ is the band’s most enduring album.

    4. Keep the Faith (1992)
    4. Keep the Faith (1992)

    Mercury

    3. ‘Keep the Faith’ (1992)

While their contemporaries were trying to copy their multi-platinum sound, Bon Jovi took the path less traveled and reinvented themselves with an assertive and commanding collection of songs. The title track features an arms-to-the-air chorus, “Dry County” is the most ambitious track in their catalog, “Bed of Roses” redefines the power ballad and “I Believe” is a forceful, high-energy anthem.

    2. New Jersey (1988)
    2. New Jersey (1988)

    Mercury

    2. ‘New Jersey’ (1988)

‘Slippery When Wet’ may be Bon Jovi’s most successful record, but their follow-up, 1988’s ‘New Jersey,’ is their most dynamic. From the tribal drum-beat opening of “Lay Your Hands on Me” to the sparring acoustic guitars of “Love for Sale,” the band expanded on its newly established template and cemented its hold on the pop-metal landscape. Bon Jovi have never sounded as unified and animated as they do on these 12 songs – five of which reached the Top 10 in the U.S.

    1. These Days (1995)
    1. These Days (1995)

    Mercury

    1. ‘These Days’ (1995)

‘These Days’ stands in stark contrast to the rest of Bon Jovi’s catalog; it is an organic, ambiguous and contemplative collection of songs whose characters are confronted with desperation from societal and domestic issues beyond their control. Several songs (“Hey God”, “Something to Believe In”, “Lie to Me” and the title track) provide an intimacy that allow the listener to feel the pulse of the characters. If it was made by any other artist, ‘These Days’ might have been acclaimed as one of the best albums of the ’90s.

Basketball Phenom Caitlin Clark Snubbed: Time Magazine Leaves Superstar Off ‘Most Influential’ List—Fans Outraged, Social Media Erupts, and Experts Question What Really Defines Influence in America—Is This the Biggest Oversight of the Year? The Stunning Exclusion Sparking National Debate and Demanding Answers

Clark’s absence from the list prompted questions and criticisms by fans and pundits

Caitlin Clark was not included on Time Magazine’s list of The 100 Most Influential People of 2025, which released Wednesday.

Clark was left off the list despite the fact that the publication named her its Athlete of the Year for 2024.

Time also included other athletes on its “Most Influential” list on Wednesday, including fellow WNBA players Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier. The main premise of Stewart and Collier’s place on the list is their recent launching of the “Unrivaled” women’s basketball league as co-founders.

Other athletes included on the list were U.S. gymnast Simone Biles, former women’s tennis star Serena Williams, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback and Super Bowl LIX MVP Jalen Hurts and France’s Olympic gold medalist swimmer Leon Marchand.

Clark’s absence from the list prompted questions and criticisms by fans and pundits.

Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd brought awareness to the snub when with a rant during his show on Wednesday.

“That’s idiotic! That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen!” Cowherd said. “That’s a dumb list… she’s the most influential athlete, I would argue, man or woman in America over the last year.”

Other social media users agreed with Cowherd’s take.

“Clark is the main reason the league is so popular and she’s not on the list?” one X user wrote.

Another user asked, “How…HOW is she left off this list[?] CRAZY!”

Clark’s influence on the popularity of women’s basketball over the last year has been evident in various statistics.

Clark made the Fever the most-watched team in the WNBA by a landslide in her rookie year, as the 14 most-watched WNBA games of the season all included the Fever. On top of that, she broke the record for most All-Star votes for any player in WNBA history.

In early September, Clark’s Indiana Fever played in front of a TV audience of 1.26 million viewers in a game against the Minnesota Lynx that was played at the same time as a Week-1 Friday night NFL game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers.

In Clark’s first regular-season finale against the Washington Mystics on Sept. 19, the 20,711 fans that showed up at Capital One Arena set a new record for the highest-attended WNBA regular-season contest.

Clark drew a WNBA record 1.84 million viewers to her first playoff game against the Connecticut Sun on Sept. 22, while competing with an NFL Sunday. She followed it up with another record audience of 2.54 million viewers for Game 2.

But after Clark’s Fever season ended, the WNBA playoffs also saw a steep drop-off in viewers.

The first game between the Aces and Liberty, a rematch of last year’s WNBA finals between two of the league’s most popular and successful teams, drew an audience of just 929,000, which was 50% less than the Fever’s Game 1 against the Sun.

Meanwhile, in women’s college basketball, after Clark played in the first women’s NCAA title game to get more viewers than the men’s in 2024, the sport saw a steep decline in ratings this year.

Without Clark in the tournament, the broadcasts of UConn vs. UCLA and South Carolina vs. Texas averaged just 3.9 million viewers for ESPN. It marked a 64% decrease from the record-setting 10.8 million viewers in 2024, according to Front Office Sports.
