Even a nagging injury couldn’t stop Giannis Antetokounmpo from showing out for the Milwaukee Bucks. A short-manned Orlando Magic did manage to push the Deers to the edge. However, the Greek Freak’s ruthless 37-point performance ensured a second straight trip to Vegas for the NBA Cup semifinals. The performance, as with any of Antetokounmpo’s astounding feats was driven by one emotion – competition.

An early need for revenge from Goga Bitadze led to a thunderous dunk that saw the two-time MVP flex his muscles in all its glory. The height of the tournament itself then fueled another terrific night for the Greek forward. For him though, the stage doesn’t matter. Antetokounmpo is always going on full motor when the chase for winning is concerned. While that powers him to basketball excellence, it can also tend to become a sickness.

Under the bright lights of Las Vegas, the casinos are often the highlights. Bobby Portis, a teammate of the Bucks cornerstone admitted to indulging in some blackjack. However, Giannis Antetokounmpo can’t share that fun. It’s because even though the saying is the house always wins, the Greek Freak feels his insatiable spirit to compete could lead to an addiction.

“I don’t gamble because I believe I have a competition problem. So I try to stay away from gambling because whatever I do, I do 100%. I don’t drink, I don’t gamble I don’t do none of that because I know if I got myself into that, it’s going to be hard for me to get out of it,” he admitted at the end of his press conference tonight.

The words reverberate the sentiments of Michael Jordan. His Airness became the victim of public scrutiny due to his hobby of gambling. However, for the Bulls icon, it was something he enjoyed due to his unquenchable thirst to always compete, something Jordan spoke about in multiple interviews.

With over 236 million in career earnings and an imminent NBA Cup paycheck on the horizon, a little fun wouldn’t hurt Anteokounmpo. But under the allure of Sin City, time and money both can go by within a flash and in unfathomable time. Maybe it’s better that Giannis Antetokounmpo is reserving his war spirit for the court.

The baton has to pass. In the inaugural edition of the In-Season Tournament, LeBron James emphatically claimed the honors after guiding the Lakers to the title. Now, Giannis Antetokounmpo seems bound for that result, only two wins away from a tempting prize and additional glory to his resume.

So far, his numbers are simply stupendous. As he mentioned, whether in a scrimmage or a Game 7, his intensity is always in high gear. In four games of the NBA Cup, Antetokounmpo is averaging a staggering 31.3 points on 70.6% shooting. It includes a game against the Detroit Pistons where he missed only one of his eleven makes.

His electric showing against the Orlando Magic further solidified his status on the ladder. In the group stages, he and Damian Lillard led the Bucks to a point differential of +50, the best mark overall. Additionally, on the defensive end, his 2.5 blocks per game is the second highest, proving his two-way versatility.

The Greek Freak has been a juggernaut during his herculean stretch in the NBA Cup. The only remaining rival of his could be Shai-Gilgeous Alexander. The Thunder shooting guard also helped seal a semifinal ticket with a surgical 39-point performance to drown the Dallas Mavericks tonight.

The race for the honor will come down to the wire, essentially down to who gets to the Finals in Las Vegas. The Bucks await a battle against either the New York Knicks or the Atlanta Hawks. These are two teams the Bucks are yet to get a win against. However, the team has recovered from their early season slump, winning nine of their eleven games.

The Milwaukee Bucks have a superstar player in Giannis Antetokounmpo. He is one of the best players in the NBA. When he’s healthy, he might be the single hardest player to stop in the league.
Anytime that an organization has a superstar, they are inevitably going to be afraid to lose him at some point. Superstars get antsy when they don’t win every year and they like to threaten to leave in order to enact change.

Antetokounmpo has said that he wants the Bucks to make moves to make the team competitive at all times. He said he will stay there as long as they are competing for titles.

Because of the angst the Bucks have, they have made several big trades over the years to satiate Antetokounmpo. They traded for Jrue Holiday, and that resulted in a title.

Then, they traded Holiday for Damian Lillard. At the trade deadline this year, they traded Khris Middleton for Kyle Kuzma and also traded for Kevin Porter Jr.

Are these moves going to be enough to keep Antetokounmp? Will he want to stay in Milwaukee, or will he be another foreign player who wants to play in a big market?

The Bucks made both of those this season because they think they fill needs. Bringing Kuzma in could not have happened at a better time because Antetokounmpo will be out through the All-Star break with a calf strain.

Kuzma can help share the offensive burden with Lillard. Milwaukee wanted to bring him in for injury insurance against both Antetokounmpo and Lillard.

The Bucks re-signed Antetokounmpo before last year to a deal that will kick in next season. It keeps him in Milwaukee until 2027-28.

That is true as long as he doesn’t request a trade, which is the only way that the Bucks would ever let him out of Milwaukee. They feel confident that these moves will be enough to keep him.

It seems that Antetokounmpo only really cares about being great at basketball. He’s not interested in a lot of off-the-court stuff.

He just wants to be great. The Bucks’ front office knows that, and they have done everything they can to surround him with greatness.

Antetokounmpo is averaging 31.8 points, 12.2 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game this season.

The Grammy-winner stepped out in a white $1,300 Alaïa ribbed bodysuit, bedazzled denim shorts, $1,120 white Paris Texas boots and a white $3,800 Saint Laurent blazer. She carried a red $990 Givenchy bag. Once she reached her suite, she ditched her blazer.

The highlight of her look was her necklace — the same Lorraine Schwartz chain that she wore for the Grammys. For music’s biggest night, she wore the “T” chain on her thigh. For the Super Bowl, she wore the chain — a likely nod to Kelce — around her neck.

Swift touched down in New Orleans a few days ahead of the game and brought her high-fashion style out to play right away. On Feb. 7, she went out for a double date with Kelce and Brittany and Patrick Mahomes.

She wore a black lace Simkhai minidress with lace detailing on her arms and collarbone. She accessorized the look with matching black gothic Gucci heels and wore her signature red lip with her hair styled in simple waves over her shoulders.

Brittany contrasted Swift by opting for a bold red look. She wore a long red coat over her black top and red skirt. She matched it with tall red boots and a matching red bag — all in support of the Chiefs.

Swift also stepped out for dinner with Danielle and Alana Haim on Feb. 8 wearing a statement Charlotte Simone coat over her black top and shorts. She carried a Dior bag to accessorize.

Kim Kardashian isn’t afraid to be uncomfortable for the sake of style, but even she has her limits.

On the Thursday, Feb. 13, episode of The Kardashians, Kim, 44, details the discomfort she felt in the immediate aftermath of the 2024 Met Gala. The reality star attended the event wearing a sheer Margiela by John Galliano dress featuring a lace train with floral accents. But it was her silver corset — which gave her an impossibly tiny waist — that had everyone talking.

Her unique take on the night’s “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” theme left some people wondering how she could breathe in the extreme waist-cinching ensemble. In the episode, it’s revealed that the answer to that question was: She almost couldn’t.

Early in the episode, Kim appears to be in good spirits as she gets ready for the evening with hairstylist Chris Appleton and designer John Galliano.

“I’m not as uncomfortable as I might look,” she says. “It’s definitely a performance piece. I mean, God bless the Bridgerton cast that has to dress like this every single day. That would be so difficult.”

However, things take a turn after the event when Kim begins to panic while standing up inside a limo when her friend LaLa Anthony can’t help her out of the dress. At one point, she says she feels like she is “literally going to throw up.”

“I am claustrophobic. I’ve never felt this way before, where I feel like I can’t breathe,” she recalls in a confessional.

She continues, “It’s like I can handle it for so long, but I have to pee, I can’t breathe, I can’t get this off, so… I was like I’m going to die if you don’t get this off of me right now.”

“I’ve never been more uncomfortable,” Kim says in the limo, adding that she feels like she “can’t breathe.”

Kim and Anthony, 43, make it back to the hotel where the reality star’s corset is unbuttoned revealing her back is purple with visible marks left by the corset. However, when she’s asked in her confessional if the pain was worth it, she says, “Abso-f—ing-lutely.”

“That’s just who I am,” Kardashian adds. “If you look good, it’s all worth it.”

Fans thought Jimmy Butler pooped himself after spotting a large brown stain on the forward’s pants on Wednesday night.

Butler made his third start for the Golden State Warriors following his trade from the Miami Heat ahead of the deadline, scoring 21 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists in an away loss to the Dallas Mavericks.

He was walking to the bench during a coach’s challenge with just over 17 seconds to go in the fourth quarter, having been whistled for an offensive foul against Kyrie Irving with the Mavs up by two.

A brown spot was seen in the back of his pants as he headed for a seat.

The Warriors Have Lost Their First Game Since Acquiring Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler is with Golden State after forcing his way out of Miami in a saga that saw him get suspended three times before he was traded.

The 35-year-old made it clear he wanted out while speaking to reporters several weeks ago, claiming he had lost his joy as a Heat player and was hoping for greener pastures elsewhere.

Despite being keen on a move to the Phoenix Suns, the Heat dealt him to the Warriors in exchange for Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson, and a protected first-round pick for 2025 in what ended up being a five-team deal.

Last night’s loss to the Mavericks was his first in a Warriors uniform. He had helped his new team to two wins in his first two games.

The Warriors are now 2-1 with Butler and are fighting for a play-in spot at the moment as they sit in 10th place in the Western Conference.

Brit singer Engelbert Humperdinck crudely hit on rival Tom Jones’ galpal, the woman claims, but adds it wasn’t the cause of the men’s 60-year feud that still rages today, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

Author and TV host Charlotte Laws, 64, said she had a crush on Welshman Jones, now 84, since she was 9 years old and managed to meet the “Delilah” crooner when she was 17 and he 37 – later leading to a three-year romance, during which she claims his arch-rival Humperdinck, 88, tried to seduce her.

She’d gone to see Humperdinck at Las Vegas’ MGM Hotel around 1980 and managed to meet him backstage, she recalled.

The shocking incident was not the root of the feud between the singers, insisted Laws, 64.

Humperdinck, who denies he put the moves on her, refuses to reveal the cause of the bad blood, except to say: “It’s nothing to do with women or the business, it was something else and… I don’t think it’s suitable to talk about.”

Laws added: “Engelbert said he didn’t make a pass at me. That’s just not true… And I’m also not the cause of their dispute because that was … at least a decade or two decades before I ever came into the picture.

“Tom never talked about Engelbert at all… and Engelbert was so passionately upset about Tom that you couldn’t even mention the name.”

She believes Humperdinck was jealous over Jones’ career and Gordon Mills, who managed them both.

“Engelbert was jealous and angry, and he felt like Tom was getting more attention. not only career-wise, but also from Gordon Mills,” she said.

Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce proved at the 2018 Super Bowl parade that appearances matter when he arrived in his iconic Mummers costume and delivered an unforgettable speech.

After dominating the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, the Eagles are gearing up to give fans another epic celebration with a parade through the heart of Philly on Friday.

Kelce tweeted on X a congratulations to the Eagles on Tuesday, while also sharing how watching the Super Bowl was odd for him since he wanted to root for The Birds and his brother Travis Kelce, the star tight end for the Chiefs, who is also dating Taylor Swift.  In the tweet, the former Eagles star said he will be cheering on Gang Green this Friday. But he didn’t say if he will be doing that in person at the parade.

“Congratulations Philadelphia, I look forward to the speeches and celebrations that will happen in the coming days,” Kelce tweeted Tuesday. “I mean who doesn’t love a parade!”

At the very least, Kelce will be at the parade in spirit. And if he does show up, don’t be shocked if he brings back his kelly green Mummers costume.

What is a Mummer?

A Philadelphia Mummer is a participant in the Mummers Parade, Philadelphia’s century-old New Year’s Day tradition.

The Mummers dress in elaborate costumes and blend elements of comedy, entertainment and satire into their performances, which last for several minutes. The clubs spend all year creating their costumes, building their props and practicing their routines.

The tradition dates to the 17th century and is deeply rooted in European customs brought by early settlers, including Swedish, Finnish and Irish immigrants.

“The Philadelphia Mummers Parade is the oldest continuous folk parade in the United States, and the first formal, city-sponsored parade dates to 1901,” read a portion of the Mummers history.

“But Mummery in Philadelphia began long before that. Mummers can be found throughout recorded history in ancient Egypt, in Greece, in Europe and elsewhere in the world.

   “When European immigrants from Scandinavia, from Britain, and other parts of Europe began arriving in the 17th Century, they brought their Mummer traditions with them.”

After long battling accusations of racism and sexism, the Mummers have moved to be more inclusive in recent years.

When is the Philadelphia Eagles parade?

City officials revealed on Tuesday the parade begins at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14.

What’s the Eagles parade route in Philadelphia?

According to the Eagles website, the parade will step off from Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, traveling north on Broad Street to S. Penn Square, west on S. Penn Square to 15th Street, north on 15th Street to John F. Kennedy Boulevard., west on John F. Kennedy Boulevard. to 16th Street, north on 16th Street to Benjamin Franklin Parkway, west on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to Eakins Oval, ending at Philadelphia Museum of Art.

A formal program will take place in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art from 1 p.m.  Video will be featured along the parade route.

Is the Eagles parade sensory-friendly?

The Eagles Autism Foundation will make sure the Eagles parade “is an inclusive celebration,” per the Eagles’ website. Parade producer Fred Stein of Cre8ive Group Inc. said there would be 15 jumbotron screens along the parade route.

Other features include:

A recommended viewing area, access to the mobile sensory unit on Citizens Bank Park Way, plus sensory bags available.
 A visual schedule.
ASL translators on stage for the speaking portions that will be shown on jumbotrons.
Guests will find a space on the south side of Eakins Oval for wheelchairs and ADA accessibility. That space is limited and is first come, first served.
Paratransit drop-off locations will be located at 2300 Pennsylvania Ave. and 20th and Spring Garden streets.

SEPTA offers free travel for Eagles parade

SEPTA’s interim General Manager Scott Sauer announced Tuesday that rides on the Market-Frankford (L) and Broad Street (B) lines will be free for passengers.

The rides are to be sponsored by Gran Coramino Tequila, founded by Philadelphia’s Kevin Hart. The brand is also the official luxury tequila partner of the Eagles.

Patrick Mahomes’ Dad and Former MLB Pitcher John Rocker Get in Fight During Super Bowl Week in New Orleans

The retired MLB aces interaction on Bourbon Street could be a preview of a future boxing match between the two

It was a pitchers’ duel in the Big Easy — or was it all staged to promote a future boxing match?

In a Barstool Sports video shared to social media, Patrick Mahomes Sr. and John Rocker, former MLB aces, nearly came to fisticuffs while interacting along Bourbon Street in New Orleans.

In the clip, the father of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes refused Rocker’s handshake greeting after the latter emerged from a bar with a drink in hand.

The retired athletes began yelling at one another while those in their parties tried to separate the two.

“What are you talking about?” Rocker, 50, could be heard saying at one point in the altercation.

On Tuesday, the former Atlanta Braves reliever and the former Texas Rangers pro each responded to the video.

“This f—ing loser can’t take a damn joke,” Rocker wrote and reposted the video. “Wish I laid him out right there and ruined his bulls— weekend even more.”

“John Rocker is a menace to society,” Mahomes, 54, pushed back.

It was not immediately made clear when the video was taken. On Sunday, Feb. 9, the Philadelphia Eagles stunned the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl 2025.

The scuffle comes amid speculation that the two could be meeting inside the boxing ring soon.

In an interview in New Orleans, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy confirmed that he wasn’t “100% sure” but that Rocker and Mahomes Sr. may face off in a “Rough ‘N’ Rowdy” boxing event sponsored by the company.

The prospective match comes after a difficult year for Mahomes Sr., who served a 10-day jail sentence in October 2024 after pleading guilty to his third charge of driving while intoxicated (DWI) on Feb. 3, 2024, just days before his son won a third Super Bowl for the Chiefs.

Rocker notably drew headlines in 1999 when he made a series of disparaging and racist comments in a Sports Illustrated interview.

There’s no big secret to Millie Bobby Brown’s relationship with husband Jake Bongiovi — things have just “always felt right.”

While discussing her choice to wed at a young age — Brown was 20 and Bongiovi was 22 when they tied the knot in May 2024 — in a new Vanity Fair cover story, the Stranger Things star recalled the planning and thought that went into the couple’s “important decision.”

“We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for, the kind of careers we want,” she explained in the interview, which was published Wednesday, Feb. 12.

“It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one,” Brown continued. “I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”

The Enola Holmes star also discussed what she has learned in her eight months of marriage with the model-actor (who is Jon Bon Jovi’s second-born son), telling Vanity Fair that “loving someone and being in love are two different things.”

“I think I loved a lot of people I was with, like I loved my friends. But he is the first man I’ve ever loved and been in love with,” she said of Bongiovi. “If we’re not fully invested, then what’s the point? We have to be, and we always have been.”

Brown and Bongiovi, who now live together on a Georgia farm, first sparked romance rumors after they were photographed together in June 2021, nearly three years before they said “I do.” They went Instagram official a few months later in November, sharing a kiss on the London Eye in a sweet photo posted by the actress.

The couple made their red carpet debut while attending the BAFTA Film Awards in March 2022. They followed up the appearance months later by walking the carpet together at the season 4 premiere of Stranger Things in May and, in the fall, looking very much in love at the premiere of Enola Holmes 2.

Though the couple are quite private about their life together, Brown did refer to Bongiovi as her “partner for life” in a January 2023 Instagram post reflecting on the previous year. “Your year babe,” her now-husband responded in the comments at the time. “Love you so much.”

A few months later, in April 2023, the two got engaged in an underwater proposal before celebrating their engagement at a party with friends and family in June.

The following May, the pair officially tied the knot in a secret Italian wedding, which was officiated by Brown’s Stranger Things castmate Matthew Modine. Bon Jovi, 62, announced his son’s marriage before he or Brown did, confirming the couple’s union during an appearance on BBC’s The One Show later that month.

“They’re great,” he said of the newlyweds at the time. “They’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be.”
