Blake Shelton ‘Ghosts’ Adam Levine on ‘The Voice’ – But His Hilarious Comeback Will Leave You Speechless!

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have a brotherly friendship.

During a break from blind auditions on the Monday, Feb. 10 episode of The Voice, the Maroon 5 frontman sent the country star a witty text message in hopes of an answer. When he didn’t receive one, he sent him multiple follow-ups — and Shelton had a hilarious response.

“Hey I’m in your old stupid chair now… stupid,” Levine, 45, texted Shelton, 48.

“God I hate you,” he wrote in his second message.

After pausing for a moment, Levine sent two back-to-back texts that each read “Haha.”

“Miss you… just kidding I can’t stand you,” he wrote in another text, before asking, “Are you getting these?”

He then threw his hands up in annoyance and rolled his eyes as he waited for Shelton to text back.

The “She Will Be Loved” singer gave it one final try: “Fine whatever. You suck eggs.”

Around 10 minutes later, Shelton finally wrote back. His one-word response simply read “unsubscribe.”

This season marks Levine’s return to the singing competition show after his exit in May 2019. Levine was a coach on the show’s premiere and stayed on for 16 seasons — alongside Shelton. Now, following the “Sangria” singer’s exit in May 2023, Levine is sitting in his chair.

Speaking with PEOPLE ahead of his grand return, Levine joked that he’s happy his buddy isn’t around anymore.

“The best part about being back with The Voice family is that I don’t have to deal with Blake Shelton,” Levine quipped. “I just don’t like him. So, it’s been great not having to be around him. He’s a bad friend…”

“I’m just kidding,” he clarified. “Of course, I love Blake. And I had to open with a Blake joke because he’s not on the show anymore, yet they still continue.”

Now, Levine is coaching alongside Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé and John Legend — but none of them could replace his friend.

“No. No, no, definitely not. There’s no replacing [Shelton],” the Hands All Over singer said. “The thing that happened with Blake and I, it was so organic, and it was based on our friendship.”

“Because nobody really realizes that we were thrown into this thing that wasn’t a thing yet. Our friendship was based on this not knowing what the hell was happening, and being silly, and stupid with each other,” he said.

“And that became something that people love to watch. It was very organic, and very unplanned and spontaneous. And all of a sudden we realized people loved watching us talk s— to each other. So, we thought to ourselves, ‘Let’s just do it. And hey, is there such thing as too far?’ And he’s like, ‘No.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, probably not. Let’s just go at it.’ And we just had fun with it.”

Season 27 of The Voice airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

Jaylen Brown Clears Stance on NBA’s Major Failure as Cheating Allegations Hit Ex-GF Kysre Gondrezick

2024 was a great year for Jaylen Brown. Well, most of it anyway! From winning his first Championship to bagging the Finals MVP honors, he experienced the greatest joy of being an NBA player. But there was one night he might wish to erase from his memory. The Slam Dunk Contest. Yes, while everyone was excited to finally see a superstar participating in the event, JB’s performance turned out to be a massive disappointment, bringing a ton of criticism his way.

The lowlight of the night was Brown botching Celtics legend Dee Brown’s no-look tribute dunk as he jumped over a sitting alleged 5’4 Kai Cenat. Unfortunately, the backlash he received reminded every superstar why participating in the event might be a bad idea. Looking back on his performance, JB cleared his stance on the NBA’s failure to attract big names, “I think it’s hard man. It’s a lot of players that have done pretty much everything you could possibly do. I guess the fanbase say they you know the ceiling is high the bar is high. So, it’s going to be tough to get stars to do the dunk contest going forward.”

During today’s social media era, superstars have a lot to lose and not much to gain being a Dunk Contest participant. Just like it happened with Brown, there is a risk of getting widely trolled if they fail to impress. Then, there is also the risk of getting injured and jeopardizing their season. So, why take a chance?

Even when a player like Brown takes the initiative, the expectations are so high that its nearly impossible to live up to them. But despite the criticism, JB surprisingly admitted that he enjoyed his participation last year, “I had a great time in the Dunk Contest last year… Yeah, I tried my best y’all.”

However, it’s unlikely that the Celtics star will step up to the challenge ever again. Especially when he is reportedly going through a major turmoil in his personal life.

Jaylen Brown’s love life in question as Kysre Gondrezick faces major accusations

Well, it was only last year that rumors sparked about Brown dating WNBA star Kysre Gondrezick. Following his championship win, JB was spotted with Kysre multiple times, first on the duck boat during the Celtics’ parade and later in his IG story, with Kysre holding his MVP trophy. Their relationship became public when they appeared together at the ESPY Awards a month later, and Brown confirmed Kysre was his date.

Just when everyone thought their relationship was going strong, recent reports revealed that the couple broke up right before the All-Star Weekend. As per the Celebrity Star Talks YouTube channel, “Sources close to the couple revealed that he became distant and wanted to focus entirely on his game.” But even bigger speculations followed. Amid the break-up buzz, Kysre was spotted with actor Michael B. Jordan. Moreover, there were even accusations of Kysre potentially cheating on Brown with Jordan. However, the rumors have not been confirmed by either party.

Meanwhile, Brown remains tight-lipped about his personal life and split with the WNBA star.

A photo of Taylor Swift coming out of a restroom at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans has surfaced online following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss and is stirring up sadness among her fans.

The artist attended Super Bowl 59 to support her partner, Travis Kelce, last Sunday, with his team playing in a rematch of the big game from two years ago, facing off against the Eagles.

Having witnessed him lift the Lombardi a year ago, she was hoping to do so again. However, a determined Philadelphia ran the Chiefs out of the stadium, leaving Taylor and Travis unhappy campers.

Photos of Swift leaving a bathroom during the game have since made it online, showing her making her exit with a male security guard behind her.

“Poor Tay. She’s living in a fishbowl for the rest of her life,” one wrote.

“I can’t imagine living in the glass house that Taylor does, and maintaining such kindness. She is truly amazing,” another commented.

“I know. How sad is that? We all love Drew, but the fact he has to stand outside her stall,” said a third.

“It’s not easy to be famous,” someone else pointed out.

Swift enjoys plenty of perks as one of the most successful singers ever, as well as one of the most famous women on the planet, but the lack of total privacy comes with the territory.

It’s just one of the things she has had to give up as a celebrity.

  • Why NBA All-Star Weekend Was Affected by Caitlin Clark’s Decision

Why NBA All-Star Weekend Was Affected by Caitlin Clark’s Decision

Sports analyst Rob Parker has expressed disappointment over a decision that, in his view, has tainted the NBA All-Star Weekend experience this year. He believes the event has lost some of its appeal due to Caitlin Clark’s refusal to accept an invitation to participate in a joint 3-point contest between NBA and WNBA stars. According to Parker, this missed opportunity to unite top basketball talents from both leagues ultimately weakened the event’s overall appeal and took away from the excitement fans had hoped to witness.

    FB_IMG_1739714795984

Caitlin Clark, one of the brightest stars in women’s basketball, had been invited to join the competition that would have brought together some of the best shooters from both the NBA and WNBA. However, Clark declined the offer, which left Parker, along with many basketball fans, disappointed. He argues that the collaboration between the two leagues would have been a groundbreaking moment in the history of the sport, showcasing the incredible skills of female athletes on the same stage as their male counterparts.

Parker’s criticism centers on the notion that this event was a golden chance to promote equality in basketball, while also creating an exciting spectacle for fans. A joint competition featuring both NBA and WNBA stars would have likely garnered significant attention and sparked conversations about the future of women’s basketball. By not seizing this opportunity, Parker feels that Clark missed out on playing a role in pushing the boundaries for women’s sports, leaving a gap that could have helped grow the game for future generations.

Furthermore, the analyst highlighted that the NBA All-Star Weekend is often about creating new moments that resonate with basketball enthusiasts worldwide. Whether it’s iconic dunks, buzzer-beaters, or thrilling competitions, the goal is to deliver something unique each year. With Clark’s decision not to participate, there’s a sense that the event might have lost out on a potential defining moment, one that could have inspired a whole new group of fans and elevated the profile of the WNBA.

In the end, Rob Parker’s comments reflect a broader sentiment about missed opportunities for progress in the world of sports. While Caitlin Clark remains a trailblazer for women’s basketball, her decision not to join the joint contest this time has led to conversations about the ongoing challenges of integrating men’s and women’s sports in mainstream events. Whether or not this decision will affect the future of such collaborations remains to be seen, but for now, it has certainly left an undeniable mark on NBA All-Star Weekend.

Caitlin Clark’s new Fever teammate shares message that will get fans hyped

Caitlin Clark’s New Fever Teammate Jaelyn Brown Fires Up Fans with a Bold Message

Jaelyn Brown, the newest member of the Indiana Fever, is excited to join forces with Caitlin Clark. She shared a brief but powerful message on the Fever’s X (formerly Twitter) account, saying:

    “Let’s get it.”

Playing alongside Clark is an exciting opportunity. As the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, Clark proved she belonged at the highest level. She shattered the NCAA all-time scoring record for both men and women, along with multiple assist and three-point records.

However, transitioning to the WNBA wasn’t easy. After the All-Star break, Clark found her rhythm and emerged as the frontrunner for Rookie of the Year. She also set a new single-season assist record for the Fever, further solidifying her impact. Incredibly, Clark’s performance even placed her in the MVP conversation. Despite an early playoff exit at the hands of the Connecticut Sun, the Fever showed great promise for the future.

This offseason, Indiana made key moves to strengthen the team. Former Sun head coach Stephanie White now leads the Fever, bringing her winning mentality to the franchise. Additionally, WNBA star and Olympian DeWanna Bonner signed with Indiana, adding veteran leadership and experience.

Fever Fans Have Plenty to Be Excited About

Jaelyn Brown’s simple message, “Let’s get it,” captures the team’s energy heading into the new season. With a balanced mix of young talent and experienced players, the Fever are on the rise. Clark, who went straight from the NCAA championship game into her first professional season, has a full offseason to recover and improve. Despite playing all 40 games—some with a ruptured eardrum—her resilience and consistency impressed her teammates.

As for Brown, she played limited minutes but showed flashes of her potential, especially from beyond the arc. A versatile guard-forward, she can contribute in multiple roles and will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the game.

With Clark’s growing influence bringing national attention to the team, the Fever are shaping up to be a major force in the WNBA. Brown’s excitement reflects the optimism surrounding

    Indiana’s future.

Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl 59 halftime show is still garnering attention one week after it was last played.

Kid Rock is just the latest to give his opinion on it, and he did not mince a single word.

The country rock rapper appeared on Friday’s edition of HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” and offered his harsh opinion on the Compton lyricist’s controversial halftime performance.

The rapper had a controversial 13-minute show that saw him end it all by playing “Not Like Us,” which is the song directed at Drake that calls him a pedophile.

Maher asked Kid Rock what he thought about Kendrick Lamar’s show.

“To put it nicely, it wasn’t my cup of tea, but I got to respect it,” Kid Rock replied.

Kid Rock added: “Everyone’s like ‘that sucks,’ this that and the other. I’m like, ‘this kid pretty much came out figuratively with both middle fingers in the air, doing what he does for the people who love what he does unapologetically.’”

Kid Rock also stated that Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar should thank Colin Kaepernick.

“I’ve heard nobody answer this question: how did he get that gig? Jay-Z. What happened there? I think Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar should both send Colin Kaepernick a Bundt cake and, a six-pack of beer, and a ‘thank you’ note with a bunch of money in it, because without him kneeling and getting everyone’s panties in a bunch over the anthem, self-included, I don’t think that happens,” Kid Rock said.

Maher started to move the conversation along, but Kid Rock wanted to add more.

“And by the way, one more point,” Kid Rock said. “This was the epitome of DEI blowing up. Because the NFL was all this DEI, end racism, all this stuff. They got Jay-Z in there booking this. Kendrick Lamar goes out there and basically turns DEI into an IED. It’s all Black people, or all people of color, speaking to his crowd, in the hood, Black people. It was like the most exclusive thing ever and I’m like, ‘F— yeah, that’s awesome.’ I’m laughing my a– off.”

Kendrick Lamar Made Super Bowl History

Kendrick Lamar was the first solo rapper to headline the Super Bowl halftime show.

His Super Bowl LIX halftime show is now the most-watched halftime show of all time, outdrawing Michael Jackson’s halftime show from over 30 years ago.

Roc Nation, Apple Music, and the NFL announced: “We’ve broken the record again!” they wrote on social media. “The most watched Apple Music Halftime show EVER, with 133.5 Million viewers.”

It appears Swift doesn’t have any time for many of her friends after watching Travis Kelce and the Chiefs lose 40-22 inside the Caesars Superdome.

While Swift attended Super Bowl 59, she decided to stay home and not attend another big event after the game.

Last season, Taylor Swift and the Swifties had a dream year.

Swift had a great record while attending home and away games, and things only got better during the postseason.

She showed up to watch games against the Ravens, Bills, Dolphins, and 49ers and walked away 4-0.

This year, Swift added two more victories to push her record to 6-0.

Things got bad in 2025, as her first loss would come in the Super Bowl.

  • Geno Auriemma Shares Controversial Views on Caitlin Clark’s Behavior and the Consequences

Geno Auriemma Shares Controversial Views on Caitlin Clark’s Behavior and the Consequences

Geno Auriemma, the renowned head coach of the University of Connecticut women’s basketball team, recently made some bold remarks about Caitlin Clark, the standout star from the University of Iowa. Auriemma, who has a reputation for being outspoken, expressed his thoughts on Clark’s behavior both on and off the court. He suggested that Clark’s actions and words deserve the attention and reactions she often receives, explaining that she “talks a lot of [expletive]” and, as a result, gets a lot of “expletive” back.

    1739546319255

Auriemma’s comments have sparked a fair amount of controversy, as many feel that his perspective oversimplifies the situation. The UConn coach indicated that Clark’s behavior has led to her receiving backlash and criticism, which he believes she has earned due to the nature of her conduct. While some argue that athletes should be free to express themselves confidently, Auriemma’s remarks raise questions about where the line should be drawn when it comes to trash talk and competitive sportsmanship.

Clark, known for her fiery competitive spirit and outspoken personality, has often been a target of both praise and criticism in the media. Her bold style of play and willingness to speak her mind have earned her both supporters and detractors. In the past, Clark has shown that she isn’t afraid to stand her ground or assert herself in high-pressure situations, often leading to heated exchanges with opposing players and fans.

Geno Auriemma Calls Out Chennedy Carter For Caitlin Clark Foul

Auriemma’s statement appears to imply that if an athlete willingly puts themselves in the spotlight through provocative behavior, they should also be prepared to handle the criticism that follows. While some might agree with this sentiment, others believe that athletes like Clark deserve respect for their talent and contributions to the game, regardless of how outspoken they may be.

Ultimately, Auriemma’s comments are likely to continue to stir debate among basketball fans and analysts alike. As one of the most successful and experienced coaches in women’s college basketball, his opinion carries weight, but it also highlights the complexity of navigating public perception in the world of sports. As for Clark, it remains to be seen how these remarks will impact her reputation and whether they will add fuel to the fire of her already intense competitive drive.

Brian Windhorst Drops Bombshell: NBA Desperate for WNBA After 3-Point Contest Collapse

    image_2025-02-14_161939687

The abrupt cancellation of the NBA’s anticipated 3-point contest, which was expected to feature superstars like Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors alongside WNBA standouts Sabrina Ionescu of the New York Liberty and potentially Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever, has reignited discourse on the evolving relationship between the two leagues. During an appearance on First Take with Stephen A. Smith, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst made a striking assertion—suggesting that, for marquee events like All-Star Weekend, the NBA may now rely more on WNBA talent than the other way around.

“The NBA needs WNBA stars more on All-Star Weekend than vice versa,” Windhorst remarked. “WNBA All-Star Weekend was awesome last year.” His statement underscores a growing shift in dynamics, as the women’s league continues to see an upswing in visibility, viewership, and cultural relevance, fueled by an influx of talent and compelling storylines.

The discussion stems from the NBA’s failure to replicate last year’s highly successful 3-point contest between Curry and Ionescu. The league had sought to incorporate Clark, whose sharpshooting prowess made her a prime candidate for this year’s edition. However, Clark declined the invitation, stating her preference for debuting in a 3-point shootout at the WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis this summer. Without a compelling alternative to sustain the competition’s momentum, the NBA opted to scrap the event entirely, instead shifting focus to its revised All-Star Game format.

Windhorst’s comments align with growing evidence of the WNBA’s surging popularity. Analyst Elle Duncan highlighted the league’s meteoric rise in audience engagement, citing a staggering 142% increase in viewership for last season’s WNBA 3-point contest, which reached 695,000 viewers. Additionally, the Curry-Ionescu showdown at NBA All-Star Weekend led to a 31% boost in ratings, drawing 4.6 million viewers. This growing parity in influence has led WNBA stars to push for reciprocity rather than simply elevating the NBA’s events.

“They are absolutely saying, ‘You are no longer going to loan our names out. Steph, you want to battle me in a 3-point contest? Show some love, help grow our product instead of just boosting your own numbers,’” Duncan asserted. Meanwhile, Smith emphasized the importance of authenticity and effort in All-Star Weekend, expressing hope that NBA players would exhibit the same competitive intensity seen in WNBA showcases. While the idea of integrating WNBA talent into NBA events has gained traction, the league’s failure to sustain last year’s success raises questions about its strategic execution moving forward.

Hollywood in the 1950s was a glamorous but ruthless industry, where the fate of actors and actresses was often dictated by powerful studios.

Among the many talented stars of the era, one actress stood out for her stunning beauty, undeniable talent, and tragic career downfall.

Once poised for greatness, she was suddenly blacklisted from one of the biggest studios, leaving many to wonder what went wrong…

In the early 1950s, Lee Grant actress was considered one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood.

With her classic features, graceful presence, and captivating screen performances, she quickly gained attention from major studios. Producers saw her as the next big thing, casting her in a series of films that showcased her charm and versatility.

Grant made her film debut in the 1951 film version of Detective Story, starring Kirk Douglas, which earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress nomination and the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival.

Audiences adored her, and critics praised her performances. Everything seemed to be going perfectly—until it wasn’t.

    Mysterious Fall from Grace

Despite her rapid success, Grant’s career took a shocking turn when she was suddenly banned from one of Hollywood’s top studios. The decision was swift and left many confused. How could a rising star, with everything going for her, be shut out of the industry that once embraced her?

Rumors began swirling. Some claimed she had clashed with powerful executives, refusing to conform to their demands. Others suggested that her personal life had become a problem for the studio, as Hollywood was known for tightly controlling the images of its stars. A few even believed she had been blacklisted for reasons beyond her control—perhaps as part of the harsh politics of the entertainment business.

CBS detailed that Grant gave an impassioned eulogy in 1951 at the memorial service for actor J. Edward Bromberg, during which she implied that his death was caused by the stress of being called before the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC).

For the next 12 years, her career wouldn’t be the same.

The Cost of Hollywood’s Power Struggles

During the Golden Age of Hollywood, studios had immense control over actors. If a star defied the industry’s unwritten rules, they could be blacklisted, their contracts revoked, and their careers destroyed overnight. Many talented performers saw their dreams crushed simply because they didn’t fit the mold of what the studios wanted.

Grant, once on the path to superstardom, became another casualty of the studio system.

While Grant later appeared in projects like Valley of the Dolls, Columbo, Shampoo, and Mulholland Drive – and eventually won an American Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress – she struggled to find work throughout the 50s and early 60s. The offers stopped coming, and her name gradually faded from the headlines.

    A Legacy That Lives On

Though her career was unfairly cut short, her beauty, talent, and the films she starred in remain a testament to what could have been. Hollywood may have moved on, but true movie lovers still remember her as one of the most striking and underrated stars of her time.

Her story serves as a reminder of how unpredictable fame can be and how even the brightest stars can be dimmed by forces beyond their control.

Elon Musk ruined JLO’s career so quickly people didn’t have time to understand what happened

Talking on the podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, billionaire Elon Musk slammed singer/actress Jennifer Lopez.

May be an image of 2 people

Musk took aim at Lopez because of her appearance at Kamala Harris’ Las Vegas rally during the presidential campaign.

Musk, who’s close to Donald Trump, was quick to “fight back,” by mentioning JLO’s dating history with Sean “Diddy” Combs, who’s currently awaiting trial for s*x trafficking, and racketeering. Until then, he remains in federal custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York City. The ex-couple dated from 1999 to 2001.

The SpaceX owner questioned the singer’s credibility.

“J.Lo was like his ex-girlfriend and it’s like now deciding she’s like warning people against Trump,” Musk told Rogan. “How many people did she warn against Diddy, right? Oh zero, okay. Maybe we shouldn’t trust her opinion.”

He continued: “People in the music entertainment industry had to know that Diddy was like abusing, you know, kids basically and yet they still fed him kids. Like, where’s the accountability? They had to know.”

Lopez supported Harris publicly, warning the public against voting for Donald Trump. She reacted after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, a Trump supporter, made anti-Latino comments during a rally.

Among the rest, Hinchcliffe referred to Puerto Rico as to a “floating island of garbage.”

“We should be emotional. We should be upset, Lopez said back in October, 2024.”

She added: “We should be scared and outraged. We should – our pain matters. We matter. You matter. Your voice and your vote matters.”

Lopez hadn’t made any comments regarding P Diddy’s arrest.

Rogan, the host of the podcast, also spoke of the celebrities who had been close to P Diddy over the years, saying, “It’s peculiar that so many who frequented his gatherings are now outspoken supporters of Harris.

“Clearly, he was doing it for his own jollies too, there was something sick about it.”

Fans of The Voice are about to be very excited: OG Coaches Blake Shelton and Adam Levine will reunite during the Season 23 finale of the show!

Yes, that’s right. Levine’s band, Maroon 5, is set to perform their new single “Middle Ground” (out May 19) for The Voice‘s last episode this season — which means he’ll be face to face (again!) with his longtime rival, Shelton.

If you’ll recall, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine were Coaches on The Voice‘s first season — alongside Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green — and their playful banter was adored by fans.

Levine stayed on The Voice through Season 16. Meanwhile, Season 23 is Shelton’s last, which also explains this reunion. Levine’s returning to his old stomping grounds to bid Shelton a sweet farewell — and probably rib him a few times, as rivals do.

Shelton announced his departure from The Voice back in October 2022.

It would not happen without you!”
