For the second time in as many weeks, Reba McEntire has been forced to postpone a concert due to illness. On March 8, McEntire shared on social media that her show scheduled at Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, was postponed due to her having laryngitis. The show was rescheduled for March 16

But, unfortunately Reba’s sickness has worsened and she has been forced to once again reschedule her concert at the Parx Casino. The singer took to social media Friday night to reveal that her laryngitis has turned into a strep infection.

The highly anticipated album is a follow-up to Reba’s Grammy Award-winning gospel album, Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope. When choosing songs for her latest project, Reba stuck with the formula she used when choosing songs for the gospel project: Record songs that speak to the heart.

“When I started selecting songs for this album, I stuck with that same formula – go with the songs that touch my heart, and hopefully when you hear me singing it, they’ll touch yours too,” Reba said. “That honesty once again revealed itself. I grew up on an 8,000-acre family ranch singing at dance halls, honky-tonks and rodeos with my brother and sister. STRONGER THAN THE TRUTH  takes me back to that kind of country music that I grew up with. I haven’t gotten to do that in a while, so I’m thrilled to pieces to release this new music.”

Season 23 of American Idol doesn’t premiere until March, but fans are already getting sneak peeks of what to expect when the show airs.

Auditions for the show are already underway, and the judges are back at the panel deciding which contestants earn a Golden Ticket to the next round. That means the fate of these individuals is in the hands of Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and newcomer judge Carrie Underwood.

Underwood is stepping into her new role as a judge this season, two decades after winning Season 4 of Idol. Now, on the other side of the competition, she knows firsthand how much it means to these hopeful singers, making the experience even more personal.

Fans have already seen a few previews of the new season, including one moment when Underwood teared up after a contestant shared a story about their child.

Now, in a newly released clip featuring more upcoming auditions, one contestant’s life story seems to have struck a chord with Underwood, making her sob.

In an exclusive promo released by E! News, Underwood shares her thoughts on the contestants auditioning for the show, as a montage of their performances plays.

“This show is for people that have the talent, have a dream…and they just need a chance,” she says.

The video then transitions to an audition where a contestant shares a touching story about their upbringing with the judges.

“My grandparents raised me from the moment I turned 2,” the unnamed hopeful shares.

Lainey Wilson recently said “yes” to marrying her boyfriend of four years, Devlin “Duck” Hodges. The couple announced their engagement on Wednesday night, February 12, by sharing a few sweet videos and photos on social media.

In the photos, we see that the magical moment took place in front of a beautiful brick mansion. However, this location isn’t as random as it might seem at first glance. In fact, the mansion holds a lot of country music history, as it was once the home of country icon George Jones.

The History Behind The Tennessee Home Built By George Jones

The stunning mansion, located in Franklin, Tennessee, was originally built in 1993 by the late George Jones. Spanning 9,097 square feet and sitting on just under 25 acres, the home includes many lavish amenities.

The house features four bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms. Outside, there’s a guest house, a beautiful patio, a swimming pool, and a pool house.

Additionally, the grand property also includes an RV/tour bus garage, horse stables and arena, a large pond with a fountain, and a custom gate surrounding the estate.

Two years after his passing, George’s widow, Nancy, sold the property for $1.98 million in 2015. But, just a few months ago, the house was put back on the market again.

The home is currently listed for a whopping $5,950,000. According to the real estate company’s website, the property is still available for sale.

Lainey Wilson’s engagement at George Jones’ former home has sparked speculation among fans, wondering if there could be more to it than her love for the country legend. Some are even guessing that Lainey and Devlin might be the next owners of the iconic property.
