The View kicked off this morning with a slightly different looking Hot Topics table. While we’re used to seeing Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin around the table most days, Thursday kicked off with a familiar face who has often visited The View: Chelsea Clinton.
Of course, for Clinton to be there one of the hosts had to be gone. This time, it was Hostin who was missing from the table.
When the ladies walked out to their new theme song, it was Clinton who filed out after Griffin. As they all settled into their seats, Goldberg explained why the panel looked a little unfamiliar this morning.
“Hello everyone and welcome to The View! Sunny is out, but here today with us is the fabulous Chelsea Clinton,” Goldberg told the audience as they cheered for the daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton, who was seated in Hostin’s usual spot at the Hot Topics table.
Where is Sunny Hostin on The View? Why isn’t Sunny Hostin on The View? And why is Chelsea Clinton on The View?
Lucky for you, we’ve got answers. Keep reading for more information.
Where is Sunny Hostin on The View?
Hostin is not on The View this morning. The co-host was around for yesterday’s episode to recap the debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, but she was nowhere to be found on Thursday’s show.
Why is Chelsea Clinton on The View?
With Hostin off, Clinton was pulled in to co-host. The former first daughter has been on the show plenty of times in the past, often to talk politics. Most recently, she told The View panel that she thinks President Joe Biden deserves more credit for his administration’s accomplishments.
When will Sunny Hostin be back on The View?
Goldberg did not reveal when Hostin will be back on the show, but we’ve got our fingers crossed she’ll be at the Hot Topics table when we tune in tomorrow morning.
