Goldberg demonstrated Harris walking out to the debate stage on “The View” set as she said Trump’s strategy “was to double-down on the crazy.”

Whoopi Goldberg was so excited by Kamala Harris’ performance against Donald Trump during Tuesday night’s debate that the energy lifted her up out of her seat at The View table the following morning.

Hours after Harris gave Trump a “booty whooping,” Goldberg said at the top of the show, the 68-year-old actress and View moderator kicked off the show by praising the VP for making her feel “quite relieved” over Harris’ resilience across the nearly two-hour debate.

“Last night was the fist and possibly last presidential debate between Vice President Harris and You-Know-Who. Clearly, Vice President Harris kicked some butt. She did. She called You-Know-Who out for kissing up to dictators, killing the immigration bill, having no healthcare plan, and spewing lies about post-birth abortion, which to be clear, is illegal everywhere,” Goldberg recapped, adding that Trump’s “strategy was to double-down on the crazy” during the live event.

Joy Behar, 81, likened the debate to “watching elder abuse,” taking a jab at Trump’s fitness for office at the age of 78.

Alyssa Farah Griffin, the show’s conservative panelist who previously worked under Trump at the White House, also praised Harris’ attempts to lay “traps” that Trump “flopped right into” amid the debate.

“The best of all, he was asked if he has a healthcare plan after being president for four years, and out of office for four years. He said, ‘I have concepts of a plan.’ That’s what you say when you have nothing prepared,” Griffin, 35, said while laughing. “I think the mask started to slip even with MAGA supporters. If you can’t get through a 90-minute debate, how can you get through four years of being president?”

Legal expert and former prosecutor Sunny Hostin, 55, likened Harris’ tactics to “prosecuting a case,” and echoed Griffin’s assessment that “she baited him” into what she later described as an “unhinged” showing on the debate stage.

Goldberg then praised Harris for walking out, looking Trump in the eye, and shaking his hand in the opening moments of the debate broadcast — a move 46-year-old panelist Sara Haines called “such a bold way to start the whole thing.” Goldberg was so enthused by the moment that she left her own seat at The View table to demonstrate Harris’ swag in the moment.

“Now this may not be what was coming out of her mouth, but this is what her body was saying,” Goldberg said as she strutted across the studio. “And then she said her name correctly, and if you notice, he didn’t say it at all, because he knew, she said to him, ‘You want to say something to me? Say it to my face,’ and she put her face right there, and he couldn’t do it.”

The ladies of The View weren’t the only ones impressed by Harris during the debate, as pop superstar Taylor Swift quickly offered her support for Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, in a social media post shared in the moments after the debate ended.
