Il faut dire que, lors de ce concert, Justin Timberlake faisait un peu moins rêver que d'habitude.

The American singer was mocked after his failed dance during a concert in Washington. A good sport, Justin Timberlake apologized on Instagram with a good dose of self-mockery.

In crumble mode: recipes and tips
Usually, the artist is known for being a good dancer, for setting the stage and his music videos on fire (people born in the 1990s who danced to the Rock your body video on MTV, clap your haaands!).

But last weekend, in Washington, D.C., at the Something in the Water festival, Justin Timberlake tried a few moves that he clearly didn’t know: Beat your feet, a dance that originated in Washington, D.C. It was a well-timed nod to the region, but a failed one. A perfectly awkward moment that quickly made the rounds of the internet.

But rather than bury his head in the sand or lock himself in his room for three weeks screaming into a pillow, the 41-year-old singer took to Instagram to speak out. “[Washington] D.C., I want to apologize for two things: this and this,” he explained, pointing to his feet. “I had a long talk with them, individually. And I told them never to do anything like that to me again.”

He also blamed his look during this performance, in the mode “maybe it’s because of this khaki vibe…”, concluding his message with humor and a “love you!”.

It must be said that the pop icon was a tad less dreamy than usual with his oversized shirt, his orange sneakers and his pants in khaki and beige tones, in the style of “after my concert, I’m going straight fishing, where’s my camping chair?”. Internet users did not fail to point out his appearance of a nice family man, far from the well-cut Tom Ford suits of a few years ago.

Justin, if you read this article, know that I love you, no matter what, even in shorts.
