Iowa guard might be looking for a new home. But it’s not Caitlin Clark. We are talking about her boyfriend, Connor McCaffrey. He has an interesting offer on his way. This potential move would be a significant step for the 26-year-old’s resume, giving him the chance to reunite with his brother, who transferred to the Bulldogs for his final NCAA year. While this is a promising opportunity for McCaffrey, it might not be ideal for Clark. Before the Fever picked the point guard, her fans had already anticipated how her personal life would blossom.

Clark has long enjoyed support from being close to her boyfriend in Indiana. With Indiana Fever and the Pacers sharing the same arena, it has allowed the two to spend time together. They were often spotted practicing shooting together at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Although the couple won’t be forced into a long-distance relationship, their frequent meetups may become less frequent.

The love birds began dating a year and a half ago. Indiana wasn’t of course planned for the two. However, it worked out well for Clark, who had McCaffrey after she arrived in the state. The pair celebrated their one-year anniversary this past April.

As per the report by the Indy Star’s Akeem Glaspie, Greg Oden is leaving his position at Butler, and McCaffery may be his replacement. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.

Connor McCaffrey’s potential move to reunite the McCaffery family

The McCaffery family has a strong inclination toward coaching. Connor’s father, Fran McCaffery, has been the head coach of Iowa for 14 years now. Both Connor and his brother Patrick played for the Hawkeyes. Currently, another team is forming at Butler, as Patrick McCaffery has joined the Bulldogs this year. But that’s not all.

The youngest McCaffery, Jack, has already committed to joining the Bulldogs as well. Excited by the news, Caitlin Clark even commented, “Fire twin,” showing her support for his decision. Jack recently graduated from West Senior High School in Iowa. Like his brothers, he had several offers but ultimately chose to follow Patrick to represent the Bulldogs.

It seems the eldest McCaffery, Connor, might also be considering a move to the Bulldogs, which would give him the chance to coach his brothers. While Clark’s reaction to the news is not known, fans are eager to see how the three McCaffery brothers might change the game for the Bulldogs. But then again, Connor has yet to make his final decision.
