Kanye West, now known as Ye, was reportedly “desperate” to be seen with Taylor Swift at the recent Grammy Awards.
The two music giants have had a long-standing feud since West interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards in New York.
He initially apologized for his outburst but later retracted his apology. During Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video, West stormed the stage and declared: “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’ma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time.”
Swift was initially “excited” to see West on stage with her, but her feelings quickly changed after his comments.
Although they seemed to reconcile at the 2015 Grammy Awards, their feud reignited when West released his song Famous, which included the lyrics: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b—- famous.”

However, sources say that West was eager to be seen with billionaire Swift at the Crypto.com Arena in Downtown Los Angeles during the recent awards ceremony.
His request was not granted as no one was willing to assist the controversial musician.
It is alleged that he planned to be seen with Swift on the red carpet, with his team “trying to hang out” with the You Belong With Me singer.

“No one wanted to help,” a source told The Sun, adding: “They didn’t want to create a potentially weird situation.”
An insider claimed that Kanye’s team had been “quizzing” people about Taylor Swift’s entrance and seating arrangements, with the intention of orchestrating a public encounter.
“He wanted to try and bump into her and chat in front of the cameras,” they revealed.
This alleged plan followed a bold red carpet-stunt by Kanye and his wife Bianca that left spectators in awe.
The musician was seen whispering into Bianca’s ear as they posed for photographers, which led to her shedding her fur coat to reveal a sheer dress underneath – and nothing else.
The 30-year-old Australian model discarded her long coat, revealing her naked body.
Page Six suggested that the audacious outfit was an attempt to mimic the album cover of Kanye’s 2024 album, Vultures, where Bianca is depicted standing backward wearing only thigh-high boots and a scant piece of fabric covering her rear.
