The 2021 NBA champion and his brothers Thanasis, Kostas, Alex, and Francis Antetokounmpo took a surprise tour of their homeland. Following the 29-year-old forward and his brother’s sighting on the streets of Greece, the Antetokounmpo brothers received a warm reception.

This weekend, Giannis and his brothers visited the AntetokounBros store on Ermou Street in Athens, Greece, and a massive crowd gathered around them. Many fans flooded the streets to take pictures and get autographs of their favorite basketball player.

The Milwaukee Bucks star forward took out his phone and filmed the huge crowd. As he walked through a throng of people, Giannis smiled and enjoyed the fans cheering. He posted a video on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Don’t take this love for granted!!”

Giannis Celebrates Daughter Eva’s 1st Birthday With Wife Mariah

A couple of days ago, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his wife, Mariah Riddlesprigger, shared a collaborative post on Instagram on their daughter’s first birthday. In a heartfelt post, the couple, who married on September 1 in Greece, wrote, “Happy 1st Birthday to our little princess. The sweetest little girl in our house full of crazy. Mommy, daddy and your brothers love you baby girl.”

After missing last season’s playoffs due to an injury, Giannis had a busy 2024 offseason. Apart from his off-court activities, the Bucks forward led Greece to the Paris Olympics 2024, where they got eliminated in the quarter-final after losing to Germany, who won the FIBA World Cup in 2023.

In the 2024 NBA Playoffs, Doc Rivers’ side lost in the first round to the Indiana Pacers. With the 2024-25 season approaching, Giannis and the Milwaukee Bucks face a challenge to improve their playoff run this time.
