KANYE WEST EVICTED FROM 2025 GRAMMYS—RETALIATES BY UNFOLLOWING TAYLOR SWIFT ON INSTAGRAM!
Kanye West just made headlines again, and this time, it’s for all the wrong reasons. The controversial rapper was reportedly evicted from the 2025 Grammy Awards in a dramatic turn of events that left fans stunned. But the real shocker? His immediate response—unfollowing Taylor Swift on Instagram—sent social media into a frenzy.
What Really Happened at the Grammys?
Sources inside the event claim that Kanye’s removal wasn’t just a quiet exit—it was a full-blown spectacle. Security was allegedly called in after West engaged in an altercation backstage, though details remain murky. Some insiders suggest he attempted to hijack the stage, while others whisper about an explosive argument with Grammy officials.
Eyewitnesses say Kanye was visibly agitated, pacing and arguing with event staff before he was escorted out. The shocking incident occurred just before one of the night’s most anticipated performances, adding even more drama to an already chaotic evening.
Taylor Swift Caught in the Crossfire
Moments after the eviction, fans noticed that Kanye had suddenly unfollowed Taylor Swift on Instagram, fueling speculation about what really went down behind the scenes. Given their history—dating back to the infamous 2009 VMAs when Kanye interrupted Taylor’s acceptance speech—this move felt pointed and intentional.
Could it be that Swift was somehow involved in the incident? Was there an off-camera exchange that reignited their long-standing feud? Or was this simply a petty act of retaliation from Kanye after a humiliating public moment?
Social Media Explodes
Within minutes, “Kanye Unfollows Taylor” was trending worldwide. Swifties and Yeezy fans clashed online, with theories running wild. Some accused the Grammys of setting Kanye up, while others celebrated his removal, calling it “karma” for his years of controversial behavior.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift remained silent. The pop superstar, who had just won another major award that night, appeared unbothered—continuing to share celebratory posts with friends and collaborators.
Is This the Final Chapter in the Kanye-Taylor Saga?
While Kanye West has always been unpredictable, this latest move feels like a declaration of war. Whether or not Taylor responds remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—this feud is far from over.
Stay tuned because when it comes to Kanye West, the drama never ends.

Kanye West Is Only Following Taylor Swift on Instagram Ahead of 2025 Grammy Awards Ceremony
Kanye West made a surprising move by unfollowing everyone on Instagram except Taylor Swift.
The rapper, 47, shared a screenshot on his Instagram Stories on February 1 showing that he was only following the “Karma” singer, 35, and no one else. He also shared the news via X with the side-eye emoji. In addition to his unfollowing spree, Ye posted a photo on Instagram of a Grammy award and tagged several people, including Taylor.
Fans were understandably confused and many of them sounded off in the comments section.
“I gulped so hard when i saw u following taylor,” wrote one Instagram user.
Another person asked, “So nobody is gonna talk about the Taylor Swift tag?”
The “Gold Digger” artist has yet to publicly speak about his reasons to only follow the Miss Americana star, but both Ye and Taylor are nominated for awards at the 2025 Grammys being held on February 2. Ye is up for Best Rap Song with “Carnival,” while Taylor received nominations in several categories including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and more.
Taylor and the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper have been in a longstanding feud that initially began at the MTV VMA Awards in 2009. The “Exile” artist won the award for Best Female Video, beating out Beyoncé, Pink and more. In the midst of her acceptance speech, Ye crashed the stage and took the microphone from her hands.
“Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish,” Ye told the shocked crowd. “But Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!”

From there, the two continued to have several considerate ups and downs over the years, but things came to a head when Ye’s now-ex-wife Kim Kardashian got involved. Ye released his song “Famous” in 2016 which included the lyrics, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous.”
While Ye claimed that Taylor gave him permission to use the lyrics, the “Blank Space” singer’s rep denied the allegations and added that Taylor took issue with the line “I made that bitch famous.”
In July 2016, Kim shared audio recordings of an alleged conversation between Ye and Taylor where he read the lyric stating “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex” and she seemingly approved.
“She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t,” Kim said during a June 2016 interview with GQ. “I swear, my husband gets so much s–t for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”
However, Taylor later claimed she was never aware of the line using the phrase “ that bitch” and didn’t approve of it.
When Taylor was named Time’s Person of the Year in 2023, she opened up about how much the feud with Ye and Kim affected her.
“Make no mistake, my career was taken away from me. You have a fully manufactured frame job, in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar,” Taylor explained. “That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anymore. I went down really, really hard.”
