A Philadelphia Eagles fan lost her mind and jumped into the sewer during the team’s Super Bowl 59 championship parade on Friday.
Officials estimated that more than one million fans attended the Eagles’ Super Bowl 59 celebration in downtown Philly. Jalen Hurts led the Eagles to a 40-22 blowout win over the Kansas City Chiefs in the big game, bringing the Lombardi Trophy back to Philly after a seven-year wait.
If you thought Philadelphia Eagles fans weren’t unique and boisterous enough to begin with, well, how about a fan having to jump into the sewer to recover her phone after accidentally dropping it down there?
On top of that, you had Eagles fans fighting while one of them held a baby and GM Howie Roseman getting hit by a beer can that caused a cut on his forehead. Other than that, we suppose it wasn’t the strangest championship parade ever…
Philadelphia Eagles Avenge Their Super Bowl 57 Loss In Style
The Eagles dropped a heartbreaker in Super Bowl 57 to the Chiefs after a questionable holding call by James Bradberry helped set up Harrison Butker’s game-winning field goal.
Two years later, the Eagles got sweet revenge by crushing Kansas City on the grand stage to finally secure their second Lombardi Trophy.
Eagles Star Saquon Barkley Shares His Thoughts On Taylor Swift Getting Booed At The Super Bowl

The superstar artist was in attendance at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans to watch as her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, attempted to three-peat with the Kansas City Chiefs. But they never got it going, as the Philadelphia Eagles’ defense kept the KC offense tame all night.
It’s safe to assume that Taylor did not have an enjoyable night out, given that her guy’s team got smashed, and then she heard ringing boos from the stadium when she showed up on the jumbotron during the game.
While the singer is adored internationally and is beloved among Chiefs fans, other fanbases do not appreciate her presence at games.
Barkley, though, doesn’t understand why some fans hate the future Mrs. Kelce.
“I remember that they showed her on the jumbotron and she got booed,” he told Howard Stern, per ProFootballTalk. “I don’t get it. I don’t get why she was getting hate there.”
Saquon Barkley Reckons NFL Fans Should Appreciate Taylor Swift
The running back added that the flak Taylor Swift gets is unfair as she’s helped make football bigger.
She’s there supporting her significant other and she’s made the game bigger,” he remarked. “We’re all about, in football, we’re all about how can we expand the game and make it more international and we’re traveling to Brazil and we’re traveling to Mexico, and apparently we’re traveling to Australia soon, so we’re trying to expand the game and her being a part of it’s only helping that, so I don’t get the slack that she’s getting.”
Of course, fans won’t see it the way Saquon Barkley does. As far as they’re concerned, the only NFL team deserving of a growing fanbase is whichever one they support.
Philly fans, in particular, dislike Swift because they feel like she should be in their colors because of her Pennsylvania roots.
They had been feeling hard-done-by for two years before Sunday night provided the most extraordinary reprieve ever, but that hardly means they’ll go easy on her next season.
