Taylor Swift brushed off claims her relationship with Travis Kelce is staged as she cheered him on at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday night.

Rather than waiting for the rumour mill to die down, the Bejeweled singer, 34, ensured all eyes would be on her for Kansas City Chiefs’ game against Baltimore Ravens, slipping into one of her sexiest outfits to date.

Putting her incredible figure on display, she wowed in a figure-hugging Versace corset worth £1,000 ($1,325) tiny denim hot pants, and thigh high Giuseppe Zanotti worth £1,250 ($1,650) with a £2,996 ($3,950) Louis Vuitton handbag.

She also added a special tribute to Travis, 34, by wearing the romantic TNT bracelet that he gave her.

The diamond and gold plated bracelet – which spells out ‘TNT’ – is valued at around £4,500 ($6,000) and is thought to mean ‘Travis and Taylor’.

Taylor Swift: ‘Do what you f***ing do!’ as Kansas City Chiefs score

At the game – which saw the Chiefs score a 27-20 victory over the Ravens – Taylor put on a very animated display as she cheered her man on.

She was watching alongside Travis’s family in a private suite and was filmed cheering and whooping, even getting potty-mouthed at one point as she yelled: ‘Do what you f***ing do’ at the field.

Taylor couldn’t contain her excitement, jumping up and down while celebrating the win with Travis’s parents Ed and Donna.

After the game, the pop megastar was seen leaving the stadium hand-in-hand with her man in the early hours of Friday morning.

The very public outing comes as as Travis and Taylor fans question their romance.

On Tuesday, Travis’s representatives were forced to deny that they have plans to split later this month after a document written on the headed paper of his US PR company was spread online.

The paperwork which appears to have been created by Los Angeles-based firm Full Scope, reveals a strategy to make their split, and says the date for an announcement is September 28.

It also outlines a supposed plan to release an official statement at the end of this month – three days ‘post-break up’ to ‘allow the initial media frenzy to settle and ensure clarity’.

It adds that the announcement will be ‘gracious, respectful and stress mutual respect.

Laying out what the statement would say, they write: ‘Example: Travis and Taylor have decided to part ways after careful consideration. They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time.

‘They are both committed to their careers and personal growth. They remain friends and wish each other the best.’

The paperwork also states that the announcement would focus on Travis’s ‘personal growth’ by framing the breakup as a ‘natural part of life.’ It also will highlight his commitment to his career and his ongoing achievements in the sports industry.’

They also plan to send it to major media outlets with a press release to ensure ‘broad coverage.’

However, a spokesman for Full Scope insisted that they were ‘entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorised by this agency’.

The representative also said they have called in lawyers – though they are not expected to find the culprit.

‘We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents,’ they said.

Not all fans believe the statement – which was first shared on Reddit.

One follower of the social media platform pointed out that it ‘reads like a high school assignment’ while another said it appeared to look like it had been created by ‘chat gpt.’

Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for Taylor didn’t respond when asked if she wanted to comment on the split.

Taylor and Tom Hiddleston were accused of being in a ‘showmance’ to avert attention away from her breakup with Calvin Harris back in 2016.

They dated briefly, for around three months, before calling it quits in September 2016.

After months of speculation, the pair went ‘public’ with their romance on September 24 last year when Taylor took Travis’s invitation to watch him play for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Love Story star was photographed in the stands with his mother and sources revealed later that it was her first time meeting his family, and it ‘went well.’

Afterwards, the pair were filmed leaving the game, marking the first video of them together.

Ketanji Brown Jackson Reveals Daughters Supported Her Appointment

For the first time, Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is talking about her eldest daughter’s autism diagnosis.

Jackson, the 53-year-old lawyer who became the first Black woman in history to become a Supreme Court Justice appeared on Wednesday’s episode of The View to promote her upcoming memoir Lovely One. In the book, she writes about sitting down with her daughters Talia and Leila ahead of taking the Supreme Court job to ensure they were comfortable with the public knowing everything about their family.

The View co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin also noted the headlines surrounding vice presidential candidate Tim Walz’s neurodiverse son Gus who grabbed headlines for his emotional reaction to seeing his father at the Democratic National Convention.

“It is difficult as a parent who’s in the public eye because you want to protect your children and your family, and you know that they aren’t making the choice to do this,” Jackson said. “You decide to be in this job, and so you don’t want to subject them to the intrusion of having people know if they don’t want people to know.”

She continued, “In my case, my husband and I sat down our daughters after we’d gotten a call from the White House and just said, ‘Listen, you know, this is going to change our lives if I end up getting this position, and it might be that people will know all about us, and I need to know that you’re comfortable with that because I won’t go forward if it’s something that you aren’t comfortable with.’ And, luckily for me, both of my daughters were very, very supportive.”

Jackson also revealed that her eldest daughter had no worries about showing her autism diagnosis to the world.

“‘This is who I am,’” Jackson recalled her daughter saying. “She’s like, ‘What difference does it make? So what if people know that?’”

In another notable moment on the show, co-host Joy Behar told Jackson, “I have to ask you this question because public opinion of the Supreme Court has hit an all-time low. You might notice that in the media.”

Moderator Whoopi Goldberg audibly reacted to Behar’s question preface, interjecting “Sorry, I just sometimes I just fall in love with the way you ask the question.”

“Is it too blunt? Behar asked. “Well, let me see if I can sugarcoat it: What can you do any of you do to turn this around?”

Jackson responded, “Public opinion of the court is really, really important to the court as an institution. You know, unlike the other branches of government, we don’t have any way of enforcing our opinions other than people’s beliefs that the rule of law is important and that the court is safeguarding it.”

“I try to do things like write opinions that I hope will allow the public to understand what’s going on. As I said in my confirmation hearing, which I talk a little bit about in the book, I try very carefully in my opinions to stay in my lane judge.”

She continued, “You know the understanding that the court is one of the three branches that we don’t do, policy decisions that we are focused on law, I separate out my personal views when I’m actually ruling in a very intentional way in order to make sure that I’m applying the law. I do think it’s our responsibility to reassure the public in our rulings, and those are the kinds of things that I try to do.”

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro will stop by The View on Friday and California Rep. Nancy Pelosi will take a seat at the table on Monday.

Dancing With the Stars cast announcements often stir up controversy, and season 33 is proving to be no different.

The hosts of The View slammed the casting of Anna Delvey during the Thursday, September 5, episode of the talk show, citing her criminal record and ongoing deportation case. Delvey, 33, had to ask U.S. Immigrant and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for permission to compete on the upcoming season.

“I think back to all the families who’ve had family members arrested by ICE, who have gone to the courts to get their dad, or their brother or their mother back, and this woman, they gave her permission to go do this,” Whoopi Goldberg said. “Now, should I think there’s a reason? Is there a two-tiered system here with ICE?”

Sunny Hostin agreed with Goldberg, 68, that Delvey’s moment in the spotlight seems unfair.

“She defrauded so many people and then spent about two years in prison and then had to spend another 18 months in prison for overstaying her welcome and overstaying her visa. So, she committed another crime. And what is, I don’t know, the consequence of it? A bejeweled ankle monitor and a spot on a television show,” Hostin, 55, said. “I like a come-up, but when are there consequences to people’s actions?”

Joy Behar joked that ABC should launch a spinoff series called Dancing With the Felons and theorized that Delvey gets special treatment because “she’s pretty.”

Goldberg shot back, “Well, that’s a little bit of a piss-off. And, you know, I like pretty people too. But I’ve got to say, I’m listening to people bitch about what’s going on at the border, and I listen to people bitch about all these people who shouldn’t be — well, what the hell, man?”

The EGOT winner then said that Delvey’s casting is a“[f–k you] in the face of a lot of people who have been trying to make their way back to this country and families torn apart.”

Most Disastrous ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Partners Ever!

Delvey was convicted on charges of grand larceny, larceny in the second degree and theft of services in 2019 and sentenced to four to 12 years in prison. She was released on parole in March 2021 before ICE took her into custody for overstaying her visa. The so-called “Fake Heiress” was released from ICE’s custody in October 2022 and then placed on house arrest.

Delvey told The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, September 4, that she “kind of got talked into” competing on DWTS.

“I got the permission from ICE and then it was kind of too late to back out,” she explained.

Delvey will hit the ballroom alongside first-time DWTS pro Ezra Sosa. Sosa, 23, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday that Delvey’s prior knowledge of the show is relatively limited.

“[It] is actually super ironic because the only time [Anna] has seen Dancing with the Stars was in jail,” he shared.

Dancing With the Stars returns to ABC and Disney+ Tuesday, September 17, at 8 p.m. ET.

How I was dragged into Taylor Swift’s PR nightmare: Furious late night calls from team Travis Kelce as they fought internet firestorm over fake ‘contract’ claiming his love for megastar is a sham (HG)

It was a year ago this month that Taylor Swift confirmed her romance with American football superstar Travis Kelce as she sat alongside his beloved mother to cheer him on at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

As the women embraced in the corporate box, there were whoops of joy within the Swiftie sorority after weeks of speculation that their idol was dating Travis – the Kansas City Chiefs’ hunky, hairy tight end, and a multi-millionaire in his own right.

Many hoped he would be The One. But now, 12 months on, conspiracy theories over just what the nature of their romance is – or ever was – have been fuelled after a seemingly fake ‘contract’ outlining a strategy to manage their split by Travis’s Los Angeles-based public relations team was allegedly leaked online.

It was a year ago this month that Taylor Swift confirmed her romance with American football superstar Travis Kelce

It was a year ago this month that Taylor Swift confirmed her romance with American football superstar Travis Kelce

Typed on Full Scope (the PR company) headed paper, no one glancing at it would have any reason to question its legitimacy at first, yet the firm insisted to me that it’s fake and told me that they have set their lawyers on the matter.

Indeed, Full Scope, founded by two Hollywood PRs, Jack Ketsoyan and Pia Malihi, took the step of issuing a statement, saying the leaked documents were ‘entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorised by this agency’.

A spokesperson for Full Scope, which also represents US heiress Nicky Hilton and singer Nick Carter, said they have called in lawyers, adding: ‘We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents.’

Regardless of their denials, the false document has sent shockwaves not just through America, where Taylor and Travis had reached national sweetheart status, but across the globe, which Taylor herself has spent the past 18 months traversing on her billion-dollar Eras tour.

For many, the false document feeds into existing conspiracy theories, giving people ammunition to ‘prove’ what they’d thought all along – that the relationship is a sham. Indeed, it has reignited the conspiracist questions of whether their love affair, which has been perceived by some as over the top at times, could in fact be one big PR stunt.

The false document was a touchy subject with Travis’s publicists yesterday. The very thought that fans would question the veracity of the most talked about romance on the planet prompted Ketsoyan and Malihi to speak out.

And in a furious phone call late on Tuesday, one of many they made to me, Malihi made no secret of her disdain for the rumour mill.

Angry at how the story discussing the false document had been written for this paper’s online edition, in a raised voice she told me: ‘We have been trying to keep stories that the relationship is fake out of the media for a year now. And now this.’

It’s the first time anyone close to Taylor or Travis has addressed the unsubstantiated rumours circulating online since they began dating. Malihi later reeled off a number of US media outlets with which she has ‘close relationships’, and suggested if I wanted to have the same, I should be sure to toe her line.

The singer and her American footballer boyfriend celebrate Superbowl victory

Taylor Swift sees Travis Kelce in the audience during performance

There have, of course, been other apparent ‘clues’, which Swifties have fiercely debated. In July, some fans claimed to have spotted Travis telling Taylor to put on a public display of affection for the camera.

And in November last year, a video of her sprinting into Travis’s arms at the end of a concert in Argentina was accused of being fake since she did the same to her former love, British actor Joe Alwyn. To deduce their relationship could be fake on the back of that seems a stretch.

So where do Full Scope think the false document came from? They say their lawyers have made the discovery that it was created by a ‘college student’.

That would have been swift work, no pun intended. Ketsoyan told me earlier they only discovered the document’s existence that morning – less than four hours before their legal team revealed its provenance.

The saga began on Wednesday when the document appeared on Twitter – now X. It had previously been leaked to online forum Reddit, where followers said it was either a college project or made by AI.

Whatever the truth, it makes sensational claims. Outlining a plan to release an official statement at the end of this month – three days ‘post-break-up’ to ‘allow the initial media frenzy to settle and ensure clarity’ – it even names the date of the break-up confirmation: September 28.

It adds that the announcement will be ‘gracious, respectful and stress mutual respect’. Laying out what the statement would say, it continues: ‘Example: Travis and Taylor have decided to part ways after careful consideration. They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time.

A seemingly fake ¿contract¿ outlining a strategy to manage their split by Travis¿s Los Angeles-based public relations team was leaked online

A seemingly fake ‘contract’ outlining a strategy to manage their split by Travis’s Los Angeles-based public relations team was leaked online

‘They are both committed to their careers and personal growth. They remain friends and wish each other the best.’

The sham paperwork also states that the announcement would focus on Mr Kelce’s ‘personal growth’ by framing the break-up as a ‘natural part of life’. It would also highlight his commitment to his career and his ongoing achievements in the sports industry.

It also outlines a plan to ensure ‘broad coverage’ by issuing a press release to major media outlets.

While the Nashville singer’s team have yet to make any comment on the document, Team Travis were apoplectic about the inclusion, in a follow-up piece online, of quotes from Ketsoyan explaining how he had previously created fake celebrity romances.

In 2019, on an Australian podcast called The Quicky made by the women’s media company Mamamia, Ketsoyan said fake romances are generally put together if a celebrity has a film or new project to promote or to distract from bad publicity.

He admitted to staging at least two relationships during his career, having used them as a tool to distract the public from negative headlines.

While he didn’t name names, the Hollywood insider said it’s not uncommon for stars to sign a ‘love contract’, which requires them to ‘date’ for at least a year.

Ketsoyan explained that fake relationships were once used to cover up the fact a popular actor was gay, but now it’s all about generating buzz.

‘It’s to be able to sell the hype of it – whether a concert, album . . . or getting people to go to see the movie, it’s all about the hype at the moment,’ he explained.

He claimed that one minor female star got a ‘career boost’ out of such an arrangement and is now a ‘household name’ thanks to her year-long relationship with an actor.

Today, however, it seems Ketsoyan may wish he had kept his past secrets, well, a secret. ‘They are not relevant to the piece, they need to be removed,’ Malihi insisted to me, tersely, on Tuesday. ‘We have got publications in America following this and it is causing a lot of issues.’ Questioning my integrity, she then insisted that if I wanted to work with her in future, I should make the changes concerning Travis – or TK as she referred to him.

So what, theoretically of course, could both parties have ‘got out of’ a relationship?

Described as a ‘future hall of famer’ (suggesting Kelce, 34, would be included in a band of top NFL footballers post-retirement), Travis doesn’t have £1billion in the bank like Taylor. Earning £12million per year, he has amassed a fortune of £68million.

Their relationship has unequivocally enhanced his profile – and his podcast followers.

The show, named New Heights, which he does with his brother Jason, went from 1.5 million when it launched in 2022 to 11.2 million today. Indeed last week, they signed a deal with Amazon worth more than £80million.

Taylor has quickly immersed herself in the world of NFL, the American football league.

She took centre stage at the Superbowl in February and earlier this week, when the organisation released its promotional video for the forthcoming season, Taylor was the stand out star of the clip.

On Tuesday, in an interview with US chatshow The Rich Eisen Show, Travis told how Taylor ‘creates plays’ for him, meaning – rather astonishingly – she tells him where to run to once he catches the ball.

One sports expert tells me: ‘Imagine when David and Victoria Beckham were at the beginning of their relationship, she’s a Spice Girl and David is playing for Manchester United, and she’s in the Premier League promo video. And then let’s go back and imagine how one of David’s managers would feel if he came out talking about how Victoria was telling him how to do his free kicks, or take his penalties. They would be furious.

‘It is all very odd. It is so strange that they have let a singer be such a big part of the NFL. There has been a suggestion that the league are really happy that Taylor has made the game much more appealing to women.

Travis Kelce’s publicist shares his expertise on setting up showmances

‘And it did all run very smoothly, with the Kansas City Chiefs winning the Superbowl this year.’

As for the future, I’m assured that Taylor, 34, won’t comment on the nature of her relationship, or the sham documents.

Behind the scenes she has a tight-knit team of experts to help her control details of her private life – including a fearsome American publicist named Tree Paine.

Her personal management company, 13 Management, is run by her parents, Scott and Andrea, and brother Austin, who handle the finances of her major business decisions alongside her legal adviser.

Working for the singer since 2014, publicist Paine is a permanent fixture at her side at all major work events. She is described by my sources as ‘terrifying’ and ‘unwaveringly loyal’.

With striking flame red hair, she previously worked for Interscope records with stars including No Doubt, Snoop Dogg and Marilyn Manson before first meeting her now only client, Taylor, in 2007. She joined her full time before the release of the singer’s breakthrough album, 1989.

As for the next album, given Taylor’s penchant for basing her lyrics on her failed relationships, it might be the moment we finally learn the truth about just what’s behind TayTay and TK’s very public relationship.

Sunny Hostin is entering a new phase of her life, and it’s coming with some emotions she didn’t expect.

Fans know the TV personality from being a co-host on The View, but behind-the scenes, she is a mom to son Gabriel, 22 and daughter Paloma, 18 (both of whom she shares with husband Emmanuel Hostin). Well, during the season 28 premiere episode of The View on September 3, Sunny revealed she and Emmanuel are officially empty nesters as they dropped Paloma off for her freshman year at Cornell University.

‘The View’ star Sunny Hostin revealed she is officially an empty nester as her daughter Paloma started college at Cornell University.© Lou Rocco – ABC

As Sunny explained to her fellow hosts Whoopi GoldbergJoy BeharSara Haines and Alyssa Farah Griffin, watching her youngest start the next step in her education had her feeling a certain type of way. And even more so, she consulted with a famous friend to help her get through it.

“I got to drop off my daughter at college and become an empty nester,” she stated in a video posted on YouTube. “I’m a mess, I’m in grief. I have Kelly Ripa giving me advice.”

Despite the sadness of both Gabriel and Paloma no longer living at home full-time, Sunny did say she found a way to keep up with her kids. As she explained to the audience, she’s been making sure to call and text Paloma as she gets through the first weeks of class… much to Paloma’s chagrin.

“I will say this. I am stalking my daughter now,” she joked. “I call her every day, I text her every day. She finally said to me this morning, ‘Stop.’”

Although Sunny is sad about seeing Paloma off to college, there’s no doubt she’s proud of her daughter’s achievement. Posting Instagram photos of her wearing a baseball cap with the Cornell logo, Sunny couldn’t hold back her emotion about this milestone in Paloma’s life.

“We are happy and humbled to be a Cornell Mom and Dad,” she captioned the upload.

Congrats, Sunny and we can’t wait to follow along on Paloma’s journey through college!

The View hosts bash Dancing with the Stars for casting convicted felon Anna Delvey

The View hosts have criticized ABC’s Dancing with the Stars for including convicted felon Anna Delvey in its new season’s lineup.

Delvey, 33, is a Russian-born German citizen who was imprisoned for four years after she was found guilty of swindling banks, hotels and individuals out of more than $200,000. She was released in 2021 before being taken into Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody for violating the terms of her visa.

She was later granted house arrest, which she is still currently serving, and has since risen to international fame after Netflix released its 2022 miniseries Inventing Anna based on her life.

On the Thursday (September 8) episode of The View, Whoopi Goldberg hit out at Delvey’s unfair privilege.

“I think back to all the families who’ve had family members arrested by ICE, who have gone to the courts to get their dad or their mother or their brother back,” the Sister Act star said. “And this woman, they gave her permission to go do this. Now, should I think there’s a reason? Is there a two-tiered system here with ICE?”

The con artist recently revealed that she was granted permission by ICE to participate in DWTS.

Sunny Hostin agreed: “She defrauded so many people and then spent about two years in prison and then had to spend another 18 months in prison for overstaying her welcome and overstaying her visa. So she committed another crime, and what is the consequence of it? A federal bejeweled ankle monitor and a spot on a television show.”

At the launch event for DWTS, Delvey shared she would be “bejeweling” her ankle monitor while she takes part in the series.

“We have a felon running for president, why are we surprised?” Sara Haines responded, referencing former president Donald Trump, who in May was found guilty of falsifying business records.

Joy Behar then interrupted to pitch a new spinoff series featuring Trump and other convicted politicians called Dancing with the Felons.

Alyssa Farah Griffin stepped in to add: “I’m here for a redemption arc, not a rehabilitation arc, and the difference is this: somebody who has owned and taken responsibility for what they did wrong.”

Griffin argued that she wasn’t so sure Delvey had. “She still owes people money, and con artists tend to remain con artists, so I would just say if you’re around her there, I’d be wary of schemes she might be working.”

Returning to her initial point, Goldberg said she didn’t understand why Delvey “gets to stay” in America.

“Because she’s pretty!” Behar said, with Goldberg replying: “Well, that’s a little bit of a piss-off. I like pretty people, too. But I’m listening to people b**** about what’s going on at the border, and I listen to all these people b**** about all these people who shouldn’t be here. Well, what the hell?”

Delvey will be partnered with professional dancer Ezra Sosa on season 33 of Dancing with the Stars, which debuts on Tuesday, September 17 at 8pm ET on ABC and will air weekly after that.

“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg unleashed on her own network, ABC, for putting convicted felon and con artist Anna “Delvey” Sorokin on “Dancing With The Stars,” who will be performing this season in an ankle bracelet.

“I think back to the families who have had family members arrested by ICE who have gone to the courts to get their dad or their brother or their mother back, and this woman, they gave her permission to go do this. Now, should I think there’s a reason? Is there a two-tiered system here with ICE?” Goldberg said.

Sorokin was released from federal custody in October 2022 after spending 17 months in prison and has been on house arrest ever since.

The story of Sorokin, who infamously pretended to have a 60-million euro fortune while living a lavish New York lifestyle, inspired the hit Netflix series “Inventing Anna.”

“I don’t understand why she gets to stay,” Goldberg said, after co-host Joy Behar said it was because Sorokin was “pretty.” “I’m listening to people bitch about what’s going on at the border, and I’m listening to people bitch about all these people who shouldn’t be here, well what the hell, man? How does this work?”

Born in the former Soviet Union, Sorokin swindled a network of financial institutions and New York’s elite into believing she had a fortune overseas.

She was convicted of four counts of theft of services, three counts of grand larceny and one count of attempted grand larceny in 2019.

“We’ve got to support the network, I get all of that,” Goldberg said of ABC, before gesturing her hand to her chin, and suggesting it was a big slap “in the face of a lot of people who’ve been trying to make their way back to this country.”

Fox News Digital reached out to ABC News for comment, but did not immediately hear back.

The other co-hosts also weren’t enthusiastic about Sorokin competing on the show.

“When you think about it, she defrauded so many people and then spent two years in prison, and then had to spend another 18 months in prison for overstaying her welcome and overstaying her visa so she committed another crime and what is the, I don’t know, consequence of it? A bejeweled ankle monitor, a federal bejeweled ankle monitor and a spot on a television show,” co-host Sunny Hostin said earlier in the discussion.

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin told the other contestants to be wary of Sorokin.

“She still owes people money and con artists tend to remain con artists,” Griffin said.

“The View” co-hosts took aim at the Netflix series “Inventing Anna” during an episode of their show in 2023, as Goldberg and Hostin criticized Sorokin’s release from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) custody.

“I mean, she’s a young, blonde woman of a certain complexion, and that’s probably part of it it … Part is that I find fascinating is she got paid $300,000 from Netflix for that series,” Hostin said, referring to the Netflix show at the time.

Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake have drinks licence approved for new Scottish sports bar – with work to convert historic cinema set to begin later this year

Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake have been granted a drinks licence at their new sports bar in Scotland.

The A-listers are inching ever-closer to turning the New Picture House in St Andrews into a ‘unique’ bar and restaurant in the town famed for being the home of golf.

Woods, who graced the St Andrew’s links many times at the top of the golfing world, and chart-topper Timberlake already operate a bar under the T-Squared Social name in New York and have been keen to bring their brand across the Atlantic.

The category-B listed cinema venue sits close to the Old Course where Woods lifted the Claret Jug twice at The Open.

The famous duo have confirmed work on the venue will start before end of 2024 and revealed officials have given approval for an alcohol licence, on the back of planning permission being granted last month.

Plans submitted to Fife Council, which were backed by the owner of the cinema, said T-Squared Social would bring a ‘fun, family-friendly’ destination to the area under one roof.

The proposal was considered acceptable in terms of design, detailing and choice of materials and would protect and enhance the character and appearance of the conservation area

Developers said the cinema will close next month before opening its doors in time for the 2025 summer season under its new guise.

That would mean it is open in time for residents of the student town to take a seat to watch Wimbledon, the UEFA Women’s Euros and the US Open.

Christopher Anand, managing partner for T-Squared Social, said: ‘We are delighted to be announcing our intention to commence works later this year on this exciting new entertainment concept including the cinema.

‘It will ensure that a cinema offering can remain in the town for this and for generations to come.

‘As we progress with the construction works we look forward to continuing to engage with the local community and council on our ongoing activity.’

David Morris, managing director for New Picture House will stay and manage the transition to the new venture.

The new entertainment hub will be dual-purpose with rooms serving as cinema screens at times, but as dining or drinks areas at others, with sports simulators in many of the planned spaces

‘While inevitably the cinema has had to close to make way for the forthcoming renovation, this is an exciting time for both the cinema and for St Andrews.

‘I cannot wait to open to doors of this new entertainment offering to the community, ensuring the continuation of an economically viable cinema for the town.’
