Anna Delvey has demanded an apology from ABC’s “The View,” claiming co-host Whoopi Goldberg got a key fact about her case wrong.
On Thursday, the hosts of the long-running talk show laid into Delvey and their own network for casting the convicted con artist — who posed as an heiress to bilk businesses and individuals out of more than $250,000 — on reality contest “Dancing With the Stars.”
Amid the lambasting, Goldberg said, “She still owes people money. I don’t understand why she gets to stay [in the US]!”

But Delvey addressed the hosts in a statement to Page Six Friday, writing:
“While you are entitled to your own opinions, you should at least get your facts straight. I served my time and paid everyone back in full three-plus years ago. Looking forward to your on-air correction. Stay nasty ladies, but don’t forget to vote Sept. 17!”
(That’s the date when fans can vote for her first performance on the ballroom competition show.)

As Page Six first reported, Delvey — who was released from prison in February 2021 but remains under house arrest at the behest of ICE while she waits to find out if she can stay in the US — has been given special permission by a judge to travel to LA to compete on the show.
She had already been given an Social Security Number and permission to work in the US.
She’ll wear her ankle monitor during her routines with dance pro partner, Ezra Sosa.

Mahomes, meanwhile, was sat with her adorable daughter Sterling Skye in a different suite as she cheered on her husband.

The Ravens thought they had tied the game up at 27-27 with zero seconds left on the clock but tight end Isaiah Likely’s toe was deemed to be out of bounds after he caught Lamar Jackson’s pass.
It was also the perfect NFL debut for Chiefs rookie Xavier Worthy, who showed off his blistering speed to score two touchdowns.
While they will both be celebrating a Chiefs victory tonight, Swift and Mahomes’ friendship could be at risk of their opposing political views.

Despite their apparent political differences, sources recently revealed to DailyMail.com that Taylor and Brittany specifically implemented measures to protect their friendship even as fans predicted a huge fallout after her support of Trump became public.
‘Taylor is not going to be written into this anti-Brittany narrative because they have made a pact to not discuss politics,’ sources said, adding that the pair would ‘respect that they have different views.’
The source claimed ‘Brittany knew better than to discuss politics’ at a recent party Taylor threw for Blake Lively at her Rhode Island mansion as she didn’t want to ‘risk confrontation over opposing views.’

‘Her and Brittany talk about other things and never politics, so Taylor isn’t going to let this be a deal breaker for a friendship.’

However, on Wednesday night a spokesman for Full Scope insisted the supposed contract is ‘entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency’.

The representative also said they have called in lawyers – though they are not expected to find the culprit.
‘We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents,’ they said.
Swift has become a regular presence at Kelce’s NFL games ever since she watched her first in September 2023. She has regularly watched alongside Kelce’s parents – Ed and Donna – as well as his brother Jason and his wife Kylie.
Swift was on the field when the Chiefs beat the Ravens in last season’s AFC Championship game before she was front and center again when Kelce and his teammates won the Super Bowl in Las Vegas in February.
The 14-time Grammy Award winner attended 13 Chiefs games last season, with the team holding a 10-3 record in those contests.

Chris Sununu for criticizing the process in which Vice President Kamala Harris became the presumptive Democratic nominee.
As we all know, President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 election following calls for a new nominee. He, along with many other high-profile names, endorsed Harris to take his place in the election — which didn’t sit well with Sununu.
“Let’s talk about what’s really going on in the last couple of weeks here. Democrat voters all voted for Joe Biden. And then a couple of elites said, ‘Yeah —‘” he began, before getting cut off by Sunny Hostin, who chimed in, “Well, they voted for Harris too. She was on the ticket.”
Sununu continued, “Yeah, understood. But they voted for Biden to be president. And then it wasn’t like it was sent to the convention and then the delegates had a choice or anything like that.”
However, a deadpan Hostin reminded him that Harris has “2,000 delegates” backing her already.
“Look, three phone calls were made from Schumer and Pelosi. Biden said, ‘I’m in this thing. I’m not leaving.’ A couple of phone calls are made and all of a sudden he’s pushed out,” Sununu said, digging his heels in. “And in 48 hours, all of the delegates aren’t given a choice of other candidates. They’re told, ‘You’re gonna get behind Kamala.’”
That’s what set Goldberg off.
“That’s not actually what happened, but go ahead,” she snarked.

Sununu continued to press the moderator, asking, “Who’s ‘they’?” But Goldberg wasn’t going down without a fight as she replied, “[Gov. Gavin] Newsom said, ‘I’m not going to challenge this.’ People who would’ve gone in to challenge said, ‘No, we’re not going to challenge her.’”

Sununu concluded that he’s a “big believer” that “everyone should vote,” to which Hostin passionately hit back, “They did vote. They voted for Harris as Vice President.”
Joy Behar isn’t playing nice this election season. The longtime cohost of The View delivered a blunt diss to supporters of former president Donald Trump on this morning’s episode as the panel discussed the rift between VP candidate Tim Walz and his estranged brother.
Walz’s brother Jeff has spoken out against him in comments on Facebook, per The New York Post, in which he said, in part, “The stories I could tell. Not the type of character you want making decisions about your future,” and declared that he is “100% opposed to all his ideology.”
Behar opened the discussion by saying it’s the first time in her 80-plus years that she has witnessed people being “so angry with each other politically” — and that includes the presidency of Richard Nixon, brutally described by Behar as a “a hateful beast.”
But when it was Alyssa Farah Griffin‘s time to speak, she said the family rift between the brothers over politics was “very relatable.”
“I think especially in the Trump era, because the country is very polarized, I have family who are die-hard Trump supporters, I have family who are die-hard Harris supporters, and I have friends on both of those [sides],” she said. “And this is why I say like, we shouldn’t demean Trump supporters, we shouldn’t call them names, we shouldn’t say they’re cultists or ignorant.”

As Griffin tried to continue, “We all have them in our lives,” the audience laughed at Behar’s remark, which only prompted her to double down.
“They do!” she exclaimed, holding her hands up and grinning.

Griffin wasn’t swayed by Behar’s barb, though. Carrying on with her commentary, she told the panel, “We all have them in our lives and we love them. And you know how you reach them— ’cause I do, I engage. And I don’t do it trying to tell them they’re wrong.
“I tell them my experience, why I am going a certain way,” she said. “And I meet them where they are, and if they don’t change, it’s not going to change my relationship with them.”
Another day, another awkward moment from Joy Behar on The View. On this morning’s episode of the hit daytime talk show, the longtime host had to get her mind of out the gutter after Pennsylvania Gov.
Josh Shapiro apologized for not hooking up with Ana Navarro when she was visiting his home state this week.
Things between Behar and Shapiro, who was making his debut on The View, were shaky from the start, with the comedian telling him that “most” of her cousins who live in Pennsylvania approve of his work as governor.
“You’re super popular in Pennsylvania. My cousins live in Pennsylvania,” she said, before adding, “They like you. Most of them.”
Shapiro then asked, “Most?” to which Behar clarified, “Well, some of them are Trump supporters … but those are not blood, they’re in-laws.”
Navarro then jumped in to let Shapiro know that she was recently doing some work in Pennsylvania.
“I was just in Pennsylvania because we were doing something in Bethlehem with Puerto Ricans. I promised them you’re coming to see them. They love you too,” she said.
Upon the realization, Shapiro apologized for not meeting up with her during her trip.
“I’m sorry we didn’t hook up, that would be fun. We had to come to New York to do that,” he said, while a dirty-minded Behar chimed in, “Excuse me? Hook up?” Photo: ABC
The politician attempted to explain what he meant, but Navarro quickly fired back, “Don’t start rumors!” At the same time, Alyssa Farah Griffin told Behar to “take us back on the rails.”
A flustered Shapiro then asked, “Was that on-air?” to which Behar nonchalantly confirmed, “Yeah, that was on-air.”

Fortunately, the awkwardness ended there. After talking politics through a couple of different segments, Shapiro concluded his visit by declaring his support for Kamala Harris, revealing that he’s in his “Speak Now” era when it comes to Taylor Swift music and saying he’s rooting for both the Eagles and the Steelers in the NFL (duh, he’s from Pennsylvania).

The shows will represent the debut South American performances by Olivia Rodrigo and veteran hard rockers Tool and Timberlake’s first shows in Chile and Argentina. JT is in the midst of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which is kicking off a European leg on Wednesday (Sept. 4) before returning to North America in October and staying on the road across the country through a Dec. 20 gig at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, MO. Rodrigo wrapped her GUTS world tour on August 21 with the second of two shows at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA. Mendes will play Rock in Rio in September followed by a series of U.S. theater shows in October.

Credit: Kevin Mazur/WireImage/Getty Images It’s long been rumoured that the songs that were written and produced by Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo – AKA The Neptunes – for Justin Timberlake’s 2002 debut album, Justified, were originally intended for Michael Jackson.
Now, in a new interview with The Almanac of Rap, producer Rodney Jerkins – who worked on Jackson’s 2001 album, Invincible – has been offering his take on why The King of Pop turned those Neptunes tunes down.
Jerkins already knew Williams – both producers were mentored by new jack swing legend Teddy Riley, who produced a large portion of Michael Jackson’s 1991 album, Dangerous – and it seems that, once Williams knew that Jerkins was in the studio with Michael working on what would turn out to be Invincible, he seized his chance.
“Pharrell gave me the demos to play to play for Michael,” Jerkins remembers. “Pharrell called me up and said, ‘Yo, you really working?’ I said, ‘Yeah, bro, working with Mike’. [He said] ‘Yo, yo, please. Can I give you a CD?’ I said, ‘I got you’. He gave me the CD. I gave Mike the CD to listen to. I’m the one that gave it to Michael to listen to.”
The demos that Jerkins is talking about are believed to be of the songs that would eventually be recorded by Timberlake: the likes of Senorita, Rock Your Body and Like I Love You, all of which you can imagine being sung by Michael Jackson.
That’s high-grade material in anyone’s book, so why did Jackson say no?
“He felt it was too generic at the time,” says Jerkins. “What made Mike tick is when he hears sounds that no one else uses. I had to learn that, right? Because he used that same phrase even with me. Like I would play him a track I would think was the hottest: ‘that’s too generic’ [he would say].
“And then, as I start to work with him, I’m like, OK, so the normal bass sound that I would use, I need to take and sample a motorcycle revving up and incorporate that into the bass somehow. And then he’s like, this [sits up and pays attention]. Then it becomes interesting to him. If he doesn’t hear anything that has ear candy that’s really different, he not going to really rock with it.”
Jackson’s desire to sound different, it turns out, led Jerkins to some unusual places.
“You have no idea,” he remembers. “I spent hours in the junkyard with my cousin. Mike told me to go to the junkyard and hit things and and I’m going to the junkyard and we’re hitting things and sampling things.
“I’d never been in New York City, and me and Michael was together in New York City, going through the city, and there was this, like, crane sound. It was like coming down, and Michael heard it and said, ‘I need you to sample that’. And I’m like, on the way to the studio, I had to go borrow a Sony digital recording DAT machine from the studio, go back to that location – hopefully they’re still there – and sample that sound.”
And sometimes, says Jerkins, the requests could be more abstract. “I remember one time I was doing a song – doing an idea with him, rather – and he said he wanted it to sound like electricity. And I’m like, ‘well where we gonna get that from?’ And I had to imagine things. I remember I took a light bulb, one of my one of my favourite snares – and my engineer at the time, Jean-Marie Horvat, he can vouch for this – we took a light bulb and bust that joint and put it on with the snare, and it just gave us this like sound. It was like a pop sound.”
In the case of those Neptunes songs, then, perhaps it wasn’t so much that Jackson didn’t like them, but that, if he had recorded them, he’d have felt like he was repeating himself.
“If I would have just hopped on the drum set and just started playing, he wouldn’t mess with that,” says Jerkins. “He would have been like, ‘Nah, I did that with Billie Jean’. He would have said that. Because Mike was an inventor. In his mind. He thought he was, you know, he was all about invention. So it was like, go invent some things.”

Although Swift has not endorsed Trump’s opponent for President directly, Kamala Harris, her past and present speak for itself.
Brittany appears to be in favor of the Republican candidate with the former President taking to Truth Social to thank her for her support earlier this week.
‘I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country,’ he said.
Brittany Mahomes’ time in the spotlight has not been pristine prior to her friendship with Swift. She’s been called out in the past for blasting the referees after the Chiefs lose games.
Last season, the Kansas City WAG was slammed after she was filmed opening a bottle of champagne in the stands at Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium and spraying it on unsuspecting fans sitting below her in freezing temperatures.
Swift was spotted leaving Arrowhead Stadium hand-in-hand with Kelce, days after his representatives denied that they have plans to split later this month after a document written on the headed paper of his US PR company was spread online.

The paperwork, which appears to have been created by Los Angeles-based firm Full Scope, reveals a strategy to make their split, and says the date for an announcement is September 28.
Laying out what the statement would say, they write: ‘Example: Travis and Taylor have decided to part ways after careful consideration. They both value and respect each other’s personal lives and appreciate your respect for privacy during this time.’
The paperwork, which first leaked on Reddit, outlined a plan to release an official statement at the end of this month – three days ‘post-break up’ to ‘allow the initial media frenzy to settle and ensure clarity’.
Kelce appeared as a guest on ‘The Rich Eisen Show’ a few hours before his lawyers had to deny plans for a split, lovingly calling Swift ‘Tay Tay’, blindsiding everyone involved for alleged trouble in paradise.
If there’s any trouble, it appears to be with Swift and Brittany Mahomes, as the 14-time Grammy winner was sure to know her opting for Gordon beside her would not go unnoticed.
Gordon is the fiancé of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman, who Swift ran onto the field and hugged after he caught the game-winning touchdown catch in last season’s Super Bowl victory.
One of the earliest images of Kelce and Swift as a couple to surface was at a Halloween party with Swift kissing Kelce’s cheek next to Gordon and Hardman.
The Chiefs improved to 11-3 overall with Swift in attendance after last night’s win. She attended 13 games last season and is expected at several more in upcoming weeks.
Swift’s schedule has opened up due to her European leg of the ‘Eras Tour’ wrapping last month. It does not restart until mid-November in Canada.
Whether or not any future appearances at Chiefs games will come with old bestie Mahomes sitting next to her is now in question, as opposed to being a forgone conclusion before Thursday’s game.
