With Boyfriend in Attendance, Caitlin Clark Breaks Rhyne Howard’s Insane WNBA Record With Massive Margin Against LA Sparks

“It feels like a different season, honestly. For myself, I feel like I was a completely different player then,” agrees Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark who slowly yet steadily saw records in her name. But the real dominance came after the Olympic break. One after another, she seems unstoppable in terms of taking over legacies started by others. Even in today’s game versus the Sparks, she did not hold back.

With Boyfriend in Attendance, Caitlin Clark Breaks Rhyne Howard's Insane WNBA Record With Massive Margin Against LA Sparks - EssentiallySports

On September 4th, Caitlin Clark entered the hardwood to lock horns with an opponent team that stood on equal footing. For the 22-year-old Iowa native, the match may have been even more of an excitement with the presence of her long-time boyfriend, Conor McCaffery in the audience. Adrenaline rush or not, Clark ended up breaking yet another record set by Rhyne Howard. This time, she became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 100 three-pointers.

The record she snatched from Howard was achieved in just 34 games. Howard, on the other hand, set the legacy by doing it in nearly 40 games. Well, this isn’t the first time the Indiana Fever rookie has taken over an Atlanta Dream guard’s name.

Before this, she broke Howard’s three-point rookie record, the trait she’s created a buzz around.

It all happened during the August 29th game versus the Connecticut Sun. While enduring tough physical gameplay from the opponent team, Clark ended up recording her 88th three-pointer. By doing so, she surpassed the 85 three-pointers record set by Howard during her 2022 campaign. For this record, too, Clark was faster than the Dream standout. She claimed the same record in 31 games, whereas it took Rhyne Howard 34 career games. But this isn’t the real thrill in today’s game.

A win-win situation for Caitlin Clark

In a closely contested game against the Sparks, Clark seemed phenomenal. In 40 minutes of gameplay, she scored 24 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists, marking the second triple-double of her WNBA career. A month and a half before, she added on to her legacy by becoming the first-ever rookie in league history to record a triple-double.

It was on July 6th in a game versus the New York Liberty, where she racked up 12 rebounds, 19 points, and 13 assists. It seems she’s now breaking her own records after taking over others. But for her, it really isn’t about individual accolades. “Both of our teams (Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever) are competing for playoff spots. That’s our main focus. It’s selfish to just care about an individual award,” she had said in a media conference before the Sky vs Fever matchup last week.

For the Fever standout, her records are something she achieves while helping her team reach the playoffs. And she did. Recently, Christie Sides’ led Fever claimed a playoff berth with 14 days remaining. This marks a huge triumph for Caitlin Clark and Co. as it’s the first time since 2016 that the franchise has made it to the playoffs. Despite all this achievement, expectations are now even higher.

Insane Caitlin Clark Stat Helps Indiana Fever Rookie to Rub Shoulders With Lisa Leslie and Brittney Griner

If an argument for Caitlin Clark as the MVP had to be made, there are undeniable factors supporting it. Indiana Fever has gone from winning a dozen games last season to 18-16, improved to a .500 and are real playoff contenders. Meanwhile Clark’s picking up 3-point and assist records as a great passer and helping her team. So when the star rookie recorded her second career triple-double tonight, she aided Aliyah Boston in making history herself. Not to be underscored, Boston had an impressive outing that puts her in league with WNBA titans like Lisa Leslie and Brittney Griner.

Insane Caitlin Clark Stat Helps Indiana Fever Rookie to Rub Shoulders With Lisa Leslie and Brittney Griner - EssentiallySports

Indiana Fever toppled the Los Angeles Sparks 93-86 with Aliyah Boston recording a monster double-double with 24 points, 14 rebounds, and 4 assists going 62.5% from the field. She’s now only the third player in WNBA history to have multiple games in one regular season with 20+ points, 14+ rebounds, 4+ assists, and 60+% FG percentage. The only others who have accomplished this are Lisa Leslie, and the one who Boston recently clashed with, Brittney Griner.

Caitlin Clark notched the second triple-double of her career, 24 points, 10 assists, 10 rebounds in this game. She’s the only rookie to do it twice in the league. She also made four threes and had three steals. (She got her first triple-double in July over New York Liberty.)

Her selfless passing style stood out in this game over the Sparks that a few X users compared her to Magic Johnson, the Lakers legend and Sparks co-owner. And it definitely enabled Aliyah to record her own individual accolade.

Two epic moments of this game were Clark’s passes to Boston. In the second quarter, with LA up 37-32, Clark passed to Boston who scored and shortened the gap.

The most, absolute brilliant display of teamwork came less than two minutes into the third quarter. Clark did the coldest behind the back pass to Boston who found Erica Wheeler, who in turn nailed an effortless triple. The insane thing is that they did hockey-style behind the back tandem twice. Clark drained a three, caught a loose ball, and passed it to Boston again in the fourth quarter to make a two.

    Fever duo steals the sho

It was a major night Indiana all around. Clark made a three in the third quarter, marking her 100th 3-pointer in her first WNBA season. Not only has any rookie before CC not accomplished this feat in one season, by doing it in 34 games she also is the fastest.

    USA Today via Reuters

Sparks narrowed the score gap several times only for Clark to make a three and Boston to come in clutch. Indiana edged ahead in the last free throws. Then Boston caught Clark’s 10th assist of the evening to beat the clock for a last shot that put Fever up by seven.

Indiana has six regular-season games left before the playoffs, including five straight at home. Fever’s star players, Clark, Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell (18 points) have firmly made them the team to beat in the playoffs.

  • WNBA Stars “F*cked” Caitlin Clark Hype With Petty Jealousy, Accuses Charles Barkley Despite Brutal Backlash

WNBA Stars “F*cked” Caitlin Clark Hype With Petty Jealousy, Accuses Charles Barkley Despite Brutal Backlash

The last time Charles Barkley had something to say about the WNBA was during the NBA playoffs. Indiana Fever, a team that only won a dozen games last season, selected Caitlin Clark first overall in the 2024 WNBA draft. With the top college star came the attention and commercial success of the league. More attention meant more people saw Clark getting hard-fouled. That time, Chuck took a cue from LeBron James and used up TNT’s airtime to go on a tirade. So on The Bill Simmons Podcast, it was the sequel to Chuck’s bubbling feelings about the Caitlin Clark situation.

WNBA Stars “F*cked” Caitlin Clark Hype With Petty Jealousy, Accuses Charles Barkley Despite Brutal Backlash - EssentiallySports

In Barkley’s opinion, the WNBA has mishandled the fame and popularity Clark is drawing. He quite bluntly says, “These ladies – and I’m a WNBA fan – they cannot have f**ked this Caitlin Clark thing up any worse if they tried.

He kind of paints a hypothetical picture of some people wanting to sabotage the WNBA rise, joking, “If you got a bunch of dudes in a room and say let’s f**k up the WNBA, we couldn’t have come up with a master plan than what these women have done.” So yes, Barkley is saying that the athletes in the league are hurting the WNBA with their treatment of CC.

Barkley hasn’t commented on the WNBA lately but he’s kept an eye on the games, including Indiana Fever’s undeniable improvement. Off the back of their rookie point guard, the team has gone 8-2 in the last 10 with 7 games remaining in the regular season. It has seen the team move up from the 10th seed last year to 6th, qualifying for the postseason for the first time since 2016. While Clark makes and breaks records, Indiana has experienced a triple-digit (%) increase in ticket sales, viewership, and merchandise sales.

While Sheryl Swoopes credited that to the Fever veterans, Sir Charles comfortably declared the team and the league owe it to Caitlin Clark. “This girl is incredible. What she did in college for women’s basketball, what she’s doing in the WNBA… and for these women to have this petty jealousies…” Barkley stated on the podcast. Yes, Chuck just fashioned a new word to describe it. And it won’t be the last time he stands in CC’s corner.

    Charles Barkley’s critique is consistent

Charles Barkley Astonished with Caitlin Clark's Patience Despite 'Petty Hate' - The SportsRush

Barkley had been vocally supportive of Clark since she was leading the Iowa Hawkeyes through the NCAA Tournament. One of her first matchups against Angel Reese as pros was overshadowed by Sky veteran, Chennedy Carter hard-fouling Clark. A lot of NBA players decried it, including Draymond Green and LeBron James.

Chuck went off-topic in the playoffs to say, “Hey, LeBron, you’re 100 percent right on these girls hating on Caitlin Clark. Y’all petty, girls. I expect men to be petty because we’re the most insecure group in the world. Y’all should be thanking that girl for getting y’all a** private charters, all the money and visibility she’s bringing to the WNBA. Don’t be petty like dudes.”

The rant was longer with Chuck repeating that the WNBA is full of petty, jealous athletes who should be grateful to Clark. Several WNBA players and insiders slammed him back then. Briefly, he acknowledged that Clark had to improve but he meant that Clark enabled the league’s popularity.

Since his rant, Clark came back stronger from the Olympics break, led her team on a winning streak, and is on assists and three-point streaks. Barkley notes that she’s becoming faster and trusts her teammates more. But most of all, “The thing that I love about her, she never says a word.

As he observes, Caitlin is rising above the noise and focused on leading her team. Whatever she does, though, Charles Barkley’s going to have the last laugh over CC haters. • NBA’s Blatant Jaylen Brown & Tatum Disrespect Has Charles Barkley Detailing Dream Team Controversy

NBA’s Blatant Jaylen Brown & Tatum Disrespect Has Charles Barkley Detailing Dream Team Controversy

Has the basketball world been unfair to Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown recently? The past few months have shown a pattern that more-or-less confirms this bias. And its none other than Charles Barkley who now seems to calling out the NBA for allegedly Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown following their treatment during Team USA’s 2024 Paris Olympics campaign, comparing their experience to Isiah Thomas’ controversial exclusion from the 1992 Dream Team.

NBA's Blatant Jaylen Brown & Tatum Disrespect Has Charles Barkley Detailing Dream Team Controversy - EssentiallySports

Barkley criticized the league for ‘pissing off’ two of the top players in the NBA after their championship win with the Boston Celtics. He expressed his frustrations on “The Bill Simmons Podcast“, speaking of how Team USA and the NBA have handled two of its star players. He drew a parallel to Isiah Thomas’ infamous exclusion from the 1992 Dream Team, which was speculated to involve tensions with Michael Jordan. “Only the NBA can do that. Well, let’s p–s off two of the top ten players in the NBA, after they are coming off a championship.”

“I don’t think…. maybe Isiah Thomas was treated unfairly on the dream team, but I cannot think of any other scenario where the NBA pissed off two players more than they did this summer with Jayson and Jalen,” the 61-year-old said. “I really believe that sincerely.”

Fans belonging to the Michael Jordan era would be well acquainted with the 1992 Team USA roster for the Barcelona Olympics. Even though the team was filled with NBA’s top stars of the time, like Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Magic Johnson, Isiah Thomas was surprisingly left out. Despite being one of the best point guards, he was snubbed because of his “rivalry” with Jordan, who many believe influenced the decision.

Though unproven, there are parallels to Brown’s situation, as he hinted at Nike’s role in his exclusion from Team USA. Brown’s strained relationship with the sneaker brand and its influence on Team USA has led to speculation. After Derrick White was chosen as Kawhi Leonard’s replacement on Team USA, the 2024 Finals MVP took to X. He stated, “@nike this what we doing?”

Tatum’s case drew similar controversy, with many blaming Team USA coach Steve Kerr for sidelining him. Following Kerr’s departure from the role, critics, including ESPN, expressed relief, stating Tatum deserved more playing time.

Ironically, Charles Barkley has now joined the group of analysts who have shared their thoughts on the alleged ‘disrespect’ shown to both Brown and Tatum. This would certainly come as a surprise to some since it was less than a year ago when it was Barkley who handed out the ‘disrespect’ to the Celtics duo.

Did Charles Barkley criticize Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum for being “terrible” shooters?

In November 2023, before there was any indication that the Boston Celtics would emerge as the NBA champions, Charles Barkley was amongst the first to make the prediction. However, this belief did not stem out from any performances that Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown delivered at that time. Instead, the ‘Inside the NBA’ host claimed that Jrue Holiday’s inclusion is the factor that would turn things around for the Celtics.

“For me, the reason I pick the Celtics to win the Championship, and I have seen nothing. I thought that Jrue Holiday was going to help Jayson and Jaylen, coz they take terrible shots at times. I think he is gonna put them in better positions to score, so they don’t have to take terrible shots,” said Barkley.

By the time the regular season came to an end, Barkley may have had to eat up his words. After all, Jayson Tatum ended up averaging 9.1-19.3 field goals (47.1%), 3.1-8.2 three-pointers (37.6%), and 5.6-6.7 free throws (83.3%), while Brown averaged 9.0-17.9 field goals (49.9%), 2.1-5.9 three-pointers (35.4%), and 3-4.3 free throws (70.3%). In comparison, Holiday’s attempts could not even reach the same level as he averaged 4.8-10.0 field goals (48%), 2-4.7 three-pointers (42.9%), and 0.9-1 free throws (83.3%). Brown and Tatum’s performance only increased in the playoffs.

Therefore, it’s pretty ironic that even Jrue Holiday was selected on the Team USA squad, and ended up getting the fourth-highest playing minutes per game.

  • “Clowns At ESPN”: Charles Barkley Throws Stinger To Rival Network For Failed Lakers & Warriors Claim

“Clowns At ESPN”: Charles Barkley Throws Stinger To Rival Network For Failed Lakers & Warriors Claim

Chuck just cannot and will not be quiet! The 61-year-old can’t seem to control his feelings when it comes to a certain network and its overhyped coverage of the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors. It seems like Charles Barkley had a good head on his shoulders when predicting the future of the Lakers and Dubs’ in the 2023-24 season. While his hot and heavy takes certainly did not sit well with many, the things he said ultimately came to be.

Clowns At ESPN”: Charles Barkley Throws Stinger To Rival Network For Failed Lakers & Warriors Claim - EssentiallySports

For example, around four months ago, he said on the Dan Patrick Show that Darvin Ham would be fired. And that was what happened. And in his latest appearance on the Bill Simmons Podcast, ‘Sir Charles’ once again threw shade at ESPN for covering LAL and GSW extensively.

Charles Barkley puts ESPN on stand once again as the Lakers-Warriors subject fires him up

Simmons pointed out that LeBron James and Stephen Curry’s performances in the Olympics turned into “fool’s gold” for the Lakers and Warriors fans. “Now they’re like, ‘See? We could be contenders!’,” he said. And that was enough for Barkley to go off on ESPN and their employees, some of whom are his “friends.”

“I don’t know if you watched our show, but I went off on the news media, all those clowns at the ESPN. I’m like, ‘Every day,’ for like, three months, ‘Are the Lakers and the Warriors contenders?’ I’m like, ‘Yo man, I told y’all six months ago, the Lakers stink, the Warriors stink!’ I’m like, ‘Why do you guys on other networks,’ Some of them are my friends. ‘Why do you guys keep saying the Lakers and Warriors are good?’ The Lakers stink! The Warriors stink! Think about it,” he stated, taking a brief respite from his rant.

Both these superstar-led teams indeed fumbled big time in 2023-24. With little to no help from their rapidly aging star forward, James could be often seen taking the load on himself with supreme effort just to ensure their team went down with as little disappointment as possible. As for Steph, the guys who he came to depend on practically left him high and dry (of course, they have their own reasons).

How could we ever forget that instance when Curry very nearly tore up thanks to Draymond Green? So yes, the former 11x All-Star had his point, although the way he approached it might have been questionable. But then again, that is the ‘Chuckster’. Remember the incident he mentioned above?

Chuck expressed his frustration with networks painting LA and the Golden State in a positive light

In an early March episode of NBA on TNT episode, the ex-MVP had practically ripped sports media for their coverage of the Purple & Gold as well as the Warriors. Both of them were play-in teams. But for Charles Barkley, none of these mattered. And he let them know it, too. “I’m so sick of these fools on other networks talking about the Lakers and the Warriors,” he stated.

    via Getty

“I understand Steph is great, LeBron is great – ain’t nobody worried about the Lakers and the Warriors in the West… We’ve been kissing these guys’ a– so much, we don’t brag about the number nine teams in the East. They ain’t got no chance!” he finished emphatically.

Again, he did have certain angles right. And again, his way of presenting isn’t going to sit well with a lot. Although the Warriors’ performance saw an uphill climb at the time, Charles Barkley was still not convinced they had championship credentials. Kenny Smith, for his part, tried to turn attention to the greatness of James and Curry, comparing him with NFL legend, Tom Brady. But the ex-76ers star advised Smith to “stop juicing them up.”

Clearly, Charles Barkley was not a fan of hyping storied dynasties just for the sake of it. Especially when there were many teams deserving of such attention.

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo ‘Disrespect’ & Damian Lillard’s Legal Trouble Leave Bucks “Undervalued”

Giannis Antetokounmpo ‘Disrespect’ & Damian Lillard’s Legal Trouble Leave Bucks “Undervalued”

Remember when the Milwaukee Bucks won their second NBA title three years ago? The core of the team is still alive. Giannis AntetokounmpoKhris Middleton, and Brook Lopez are still active. However, the franchise has continued to suffer because of unfortunate injuries. Damian Lillard‘s addition was one of Milwaukee’s biggest moves, but the star guard struggled during his transition. Of course, leaving his home, Portland wasn’t easy for Dame, especially after playing 11 seasons there. Nevertheless, are the Bucks an undervalued squad following their recent playoff run?

Giannis Antetokounmpo 'Disrespect' & Damian Lillard's Legal Trouble Leave Bucks “Undervalued” - EssentiallySports

There are a lot of reasons. It is more likely that the Bucks will have difficulty establishing themselves as a serious threat in the East next year. Or will they? Looking at each of their core players, one can argue that Milwaukee is not headed toward its brightest season. Brian Windhorst believes that the Bucks are being undervalued because of various factors including Giannis and Middleton’s injuries.

“I’m just gonna say that the Bucks are being undervalued. I am not saying they should be the favorite. You know Giannis has been hurt in the playoffs and Dame last year was by his own admission, was out of his element. He openly has been saying that the transition was bigger than he thought. I think it’s reasonable to think that, that pairing will work better… And then the injuries. Middleton, his whole situation, being out for so long…”, Windhorst said on the ‘NBA on ESPN’ show.

In their last two playoff appearances, the Bucks had to play without their star forward. Giannis missed the entirety of the 2024 playoffs and missed crucial games in the first-round series against the Heat in 2023. But that doesn’t hide the fact that the Greek Freak played on an MVP level, finishing top five in the voting since 2019. Not to mention, had Giannis not been injured, the outlook of the East may have been different. Many had surprised faces this year after Giannis did not receive a single MVP vote. Now, apart from that, Middleton went through surgeries in his both ankles this offseason. He was one of the main players to have led the Bucks in the first round against the Pacers this year.

If that isn’t enough to justify that the Bucks have been stumbling, Damian Lillard’s situation is not any good either. Other than his injuries, Lillard’s off-court drama was distracting enough. “Dame was going through a lot last year off the floor as well.”, said Tim MacMahon. Dame’s divorce settlement caught quite the attention last year along with the custody battle with his ex-wife who demanded sole custody of their three kids.

In addition to all the drama pouring on the Bucks, Brook Lopez, their primary center is in his mid-30s. His age can become a factor depending on how the next season unfolds. Nevertheless, are the Bucks on the same tier as teams like the Knicks, the Celtics, and the Sixers?

Giannis Antetokounmpo and company have a lot on their plate

A simple answer would be, yes. The Bucks are as tough as the toppers of the East, but there’s a catch. This would only be the case if the Bucks had a healthy roster throughout the year. Especially during the postseason. At the end of the day, Milwaukee can always rely on Giannis who’s quite frankly in the middle of his prime along with Damian Lillard who doesn’t fail to impress with his shooting consistency when it matters the most.

On the other hand, a healthy Khris Middleton also plays a huge factor. The 33-year-old is an excellent defender and shooter and can even dominate from the mid-range when needed. Lopez, the 7-foot-1 center has proved to be a highly efficient big man with a much-needed shooting touch. If the Bucks manage to pull off a healthy regular season, there is no doubt that the squad can rank top 4 in the East.

Giannis Antetokounmpo 'Disrespect' & Damian Lillard's Legal Trouble Leave Bucks “Undervalued” - EssentiallySports

While Boston, New York, and Philly might be a threat heading into the next season, there are a few emerging teams that the Bucks shouldn’t neglect. They already faced the best version of the Pacers. But the Magic and the Cavs are also squads to look out for. Yes, they might not be the toppers of the East, but come playoff time, and these squads won’t be so easy to go up against. Regardless, Giannis and company are definitely among the contenders in the Conference.

Their success as a franchise seemed to have depended on a healthy season lately. However, the Bucks will look to establish a threat in the East similar to recent years when Antetokounmpo won his back-to-back MVP titles. It will be interesting to see whether the stars remain healthy throughout seven months. Besides, guys like Gary Trent Jr. and Delon Wright will be a considerable backup for them.

What are your thoughts on Giannis Antetokoumpo and the Bucks? Do you think Milwaukee is undervalued heading into the next season? Let us know in the comments.

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo Posts Stunning Pic of Wife Mariah as Notable Wedding Absentee Fuels Bucks Drama

Giannis Antetokounmpo Posts Stunning Pic of Wife Mariah as Notable Wedding Absentee Fuels Bucks Drama

Giannis Antetokounmpo just found a little room to breathe after what seemed like a busy offseason. Just a couple of weeks after the Olympics, Giannis was busy planning his wedding, inviting several NBA stars, big-time athletes, and of course, his beloved teammates. This particular wedding was private in all aspects. There are no couple pictures or any moments from the event that were captured by the media. However, the present Bucks including Jrue HolidayKhris Middleton, and others shared a moment with their picture going viral on Twitter.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Posts Stunning Pic of Wife Mariah as Notable Wedding Absentee Fuels Bucks Drama - EssentiallySports

Nevertheless, as the wedding came to an end, the Freak and his wife, Mariah shared a beautiful memory together. Antetokounmpo recently posted pictures of a peaceful dinner with his wife. It seems that the couple longed for this moment after their wedding. Giannis, on the other hand, seems to enjoy this vacation of his which, unfortunately, will soon come to an end. Still, as he looks back at his wedding, Giannis might not be happy with this one wedding absentee.

Damian Lillard, the new guard of the Bucks did not attend Antetokounmpo’s wedding in Greece. The lethal three-point shooter attended another wedding instead. But why would Dame not be there for his teammate’s special occasion? Well, it turns out that Dame’s former teammate’s wedding clashed with the Freak’s wedding in Greece. Maurice Harkless was Dame’s teammate in Portland for four years. The two were extremely close, as Harkless was one of the key players of the Blazers at the time.

It may have been the situation where Dame had to pick between the two occasions and had to pick Moe because of the old bond. Evan Turner shared pictures from the wedding on his Twitter with Lillard enjoying the event with his former teammates. Now, is this a problem for the Bucks in general? For the most part, Giannis would have been quite understanding of Lillard’s situation. But this move from Lillard might have alarmed fans amid Milwaukee’s ‘undervalued’ position in the East.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks are in a tough spot

Things haven’t been going so well for the Bucks lately. Khris Middleton recently went through surgeries in his both ankles. Lillard on the other hand went down with an Achilles injury. The bad luck doesn’t end there as Giannis also went down with an injury days before the playoffs, missing his second consecutive postseason. But as they make way for the upcoming season, the Bucks might not be a considerable threat in the East.

Moreover, Dame’s absence during Giannis’ wedding may have raised some eyebrows among Milwaukee fans. Should the Bucks prepare for an upcoming downfall? The answer would be no, mostly because the only obstacle in the Bucks’ way to a deep playoff run is injuries. If the Bucks manage to have most of its players healthy throughout the season, especially the playoffs, there is no doubt that the Bucks will be among the top four teams in the East.

Despite his absence in the playoffs, Giannis has been putting up with the numbers, averaging 30.4 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists while shooting a whopping 61% from the field. While Dame had quite a tough time transitioning from his longtime team, he still managed to help the squad in getting wins. It will be interesting to see Giannis and Dame in full swing next year, as the Bucks hope for a healthy season.

What are your thoughts on Dame’s absence during the Freak’s wedding? Do you think the Bucks are an undervalued franchise? Let us know in the comments.

    Who is Jack Draper’s girlfriend?

Regarding Draper’s personal life, it remains unclear whether he is currently single or in a relationship, with his social media accounts revealing little about his current romantic status.

    How tall is Jack Draper?

Standing at 1.93m (6ft 4in), Jack Draper overshadows British tennis legend Andy Murray by one inch, with the Scot measuring up at 1.91m (6ft 3in). Draper also has a height advantage over current Wimbledon champ Carlos Alcaraz, who stands at 1.85m (6ft 1in) tall.

Not only does Draper’s stature make him stand out on the court, but he also boasts a unique playing style. Despite being naturally right-handed, he wields his racket with his left hand and dominates play with a powerful two-handed backhand.

    Who is Jack Draper’s housemate?

Draper has recently flown the nest from his family home in Surrey to set up residence with fellow British tennis talent Paul Jubb. According to Tatler, the duo enjoys a harmonious household, though they’ve encountered the “odd” domestic hiccup.

Draper admits to relishing his newfound independence, saying, “I’m enjoying being able to wash my own clothes. There’s been the odd shrinking disaster, but we’re back on track.”

Jubb, aged 23, boasts an impressive track record in ATP Challenger and ITF Futures/World Tennis Tour finals, securing nine victories against just two defeats. Despite neither having clinched a major singles title yet, both Draper and Jubb are poised to make their mark on the tennis world in the years ahead.

Jannik Sinner offered an insight into his private text conversations with Jack Draper after setting up a semi-final meeting with the Brit at the US Open. Sinner made light work of Daniil Medvedev to secure his place in the last four at Flushing Meadows, where he is the favourite to win the title.

The Italian already knows Draper well, having played alongside him in doubles at the Canadian Open last month. However, they will be forced to put their friendship to one side when they go up against each other for a place in the US Open final.

Speaking after his victory over Medvedev, Sinner revealed that he often exchanges text messages with Draper as he opened up on their bond outside of tennis.

“It was nice to share the court with him in doubles in Montreal,” he said. “We got to know each other even more. We text each other when we have good or bad times, trying to keep us up. It’s a great friendship.

“Obviously, we try to put this away for the hours we are on court. I think that’s quite obvious but, you know, whenever we shake our hands we get our friendship back and it’s always going to be good.”

Draper also recently spoke about his bond with Sinner, vowing to stay in touch regardless of what happens in New York later this week.

“We’ve always kept in touch since I’ve been on tour the last couple of years,” said the Brit. “Jannik is a good friend, someone I’m definitely close to. We send each other messages in good moments, bad moments.

“It’s a tough sport to play when you’re a young guy. You’re kind of, you’re on the road, you’re playing such a relentlessly intense sport, both physically, emotionally, and it’s difficult, we haven’t got many friends.

“To have the support of someone who’s going through it themselves is really big. So, yeah, huge respect for Jannik and it was amazing to play doubles with him in Montreal. I think we played great doubles together.

“I’d never won a doubles match on the tour, so to play obviously with the No. 1 player in the world was amazing and definitely learned a lot about playing doubles and had a lot of fun with him.

“It was really nice to be able to step out on court with him. Yeah, I’m sure we will continue to stay in touch.”
