Jessie James Decker reveals she is safe after escaping the devastating fires that continue to rip through Southern California.

In a new Instagram story, the songstress/entrepreneur recounted her past 24 hours, explaining she was on a shoot in Santa Monica when a thick black smoke appeared in the sky along the beach. She and her team realized they were witnessing the severity of the fire taking over the Pacific Palisades area.

“We all ran out to the beach just to see what was going on. And I mean, it was just so eerie and trippy and the sky is filling out with dark smoke. You’re seeing the planes getting the water from the ocean. I mean, it was super eerie…I know there’s fires in California, but you just knew this was serious,” she stated in the clip.

The Moment Decker Realized The Severity Of The Fires

Earlier in the day, Decker had posted a video from her time on the beach which captured alarms blaring around them and aircrafts collecting water to spread over the surrounding areas in an attempt to control the blaze. After recognizing just how quickly this fire was spreading, she and her team wrapped up the shoot and returned to find chaos ensuing inside the hotel they were staying at.

“We walk into the lobby and it was packed,” Decker recalled. “We went from it feeling like it was maybe 20% capacity hotels, very chill, to it was packed with people in the lobby lines at the front desk. There’s dogs everywhere. There’s babies, people with their families. I mean, just people that had to just leave.”

Seeing all the families desperately searching for a a safe shelter after having to leave behind their homes further confirmed the mom of four’s decision to cut her trip to L.A. short and find a flight out. In that moment, she knew that leaving was the right thing to do as she recognized that there were many California residents who needed the available rooms far more than she did.

“We get into the elevator and there’s a woman holding a baby that’s Denver’s age, and I’m just like, we need to go home. We’ve got to get out of here. There’s no work. This is so serious and we need to give our rooms up to people that need them. We need to get out of here.”

    Praying For California Residents

Decker was luckily able to make it on the soonest flight out and is now safely back with her family in Tennessee. She shared that upon her return home, she made sure to hug her loved ones extra tight.

“I don’t know how, but we got out…So anyway, I got home and it was really nice to get home to the babies and I just hugged on everybody and I’m just so sad for what’s happening to the city and all those poor people.”

“I’m just praying for everyone and I hope everyone gets out safe,” Decker concluded.

The Los Angeles Fire Department states that the Palisades Fire started at 10:30 a.m. near 1190 North Piedra Morada Dr. Winds continued to intensify, reaching at least 40 mph, which has in turn caused the flames to grow exponentially. Tens of thousands of California residents have been forced to evacuate their homes and Gov. Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency.

During a recent news conference, Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone reported that about 1,000 structures and more than 5,000 acres have been destroyed. Additionally, at least two people have been reported dead and many others have suffered “significant injuries,” per CNN.

Over 1,000 individuals have been deployed to help battle the flames, however according to USA Today and reports from local firefighters, 0% of the fires are contained as of Wednesday afternoon.

Officials advise that residents should be prepared to evacuate immediately upon notice. Regular updates continue to circulate among both local and national news sites.

Billy Ray Cyrus expressed his shock and shared heartfelt condolences on social media regarding the devastating fires sweeping through California.

The country singer and multi-faceted entertainer pointed out that he has “two daughters in the middle of this madness,” referring to Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus who reside in the Los Angeles area, and used his platform to urge people to come together to help one another.

“Watching this news coverage and seeing all of the devastation… This is hell on earth. As a father with my two daughters in the middle of this madness… my heart goes out to everyone affected by the devastating wildfires. The loss, the heartbreak, and the uncertainty are unimaginable,” he wrote.

Cyrus continued, “It’s during times like these that we see the best in humanity, as neighbors help neighbors and communities come together.”

In closing the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer directed his followers to donate to the Red Cross by texting ‘REDCROSS’ to 90999 or visiting redcross.org.

Miley Cyrus has not yet shared any updates on her condition or the status of her home, but Noah Cyrus, who recently celebrated her 25th birthday, offered prayers for those affected by the fires, writing, “My thoughts and prayers go to all affected by the fires here in Los Angeles.”

According to the latest report from NBC News, nearly 180,000 people have been forced to evacuate due to the devastating fires.
The fire is the most destructive in L.A. history, burning over 2,000 structures, according to the LA Times. Officials believe the destruction could total $57 billion or more.

At least five people have been declared dead, however, at this time, the final death toll is unknown.

“At one point, we’ll be able to do a more thorough search of these impacted areas — some of them look like a bomb was dropped in them — where we will be able to bring in canines and other things to help us, hopefully not discover too many fatalities, that is our prayer,” Sheriff Robert Luna stated during a press briefing early Thursday morning.

“This is a crisis,” he added. “We’ll figure out those numbers. So be patient with us when you ask us about death toll numbers. Right now, frankly, we don’t know yet.”
The Los Angeles Times compiled a detailed list of ways to help the fire victims, including monetary donations, materials, or volunteer hours. Click HERE for details.

PHOTO: Josh Allen’s Ex-Girlfriend Brittany Williams Appears To Call The Bills QB A “Brain Dead CTE Athlete” Following His Engagement To Hailee Steinfeld

Josh Allen’s ex-girlfriend Brittany Williams offered a shocking reaction to news of the quarterback’s engagement.

Allen made a massive announcement on social media this past Friday, revealing plans to wed his new girlfriend, actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld, in a viral Instagram post.

Williams, who spent around six years with Allen before they broke up in 2023, replied to someone calling her out thereafter by claiming she’s landed herself a team owner and no longer has to worry about her partner getting brain damage (or at least she appeared to).

You can see a screenshot of her comment below:

Well, this is a side of Brittany no one has ever seen, and social media had quite a bit to say about it.

“Like how she’s basically admitting she’s a gold digger,” a comment read.

“She really flexing dating Terry Pegula huh,” someone added.

“I had to actually go check because I didn’t think this was real. Throwing around accusations like that is wild,” a follower claimed.

Smith and Bayless have very notable history together, having worked together on ESPN’s ‘First Take’ before the latter departed for FS1.

The ESPN host is one of the people everyone looks forward to hearing from whenever Skip makes the news, and he had a bit to say on his show, ‘The Stephen A. Smith Show’ following the most recent development.

Stephen A Smith Says Skip Bayless Is One Of The Cheapest People He Knows

Skip Bayless Revealed His 1st Impression Of Stephen A. Smith - The Spun

Bayless has been accused of offering a former FOX employee, Noushin Faraji, $1.5 million to sleep with him, something Smith feels is unlikely given how cheap he knows his former coworker to be.

“Here’s what I would tell you…I’ve known Skip for [25 years], I can’t imagine it. I can’t imagine it. Especially when they brought up the $1.5 million, the Skip Bayless I know has a hard time giving away $15. He’s one of the cheapest people I know.”

Smith stressed several times that he was not in a position to speak on the subject because he had no actual knowledge of what had transpired.

“But that doesn’t mean that I had any inside knowledge about any of this,” he added. “I don’t and I’m not going to get involved.”

Bayless himself has yet to respond to the allegations.

New Frightening Video Shows Denver Broncos’ Team Plane Landing In Winter Storm At Buffalo Niagara International Airport Before Wild Card Game vs. Bills

Denver Broncos Touch Down in Buffalo Ahead of High-Stakes Playoff Game

A new, eye-catching video has captured the Denver Broncos’ team plane making a routine yet impressive landing at Buffalo Niagara International Airport in preparation for their highly anticipated playoff game against the Buffalo Bills. The sight of the massive Boeing 747-400 coming in for a smooth landing amid snowy, wintery conditions has become a highlight for fans as the Broncos gear up for their Wild Card Round matchup. This marks the culmination of an exciting and unexpected journey for Denver, whose season has far exceeded expectations.

Under the leadership of head coach Sean Payton, the Broncos not only made the playoffs but did so with a respectable 10-7 record. This postseason appearance is especially meaningful for Denver, as it marks their first playoff berth since 2015, the year they won Super Bowl 50. Now, as they prepare for their showdown with the AFC East champions, the Buffalo Bills, the Broncos are poised to continue their Cinderella season.

The official Buffalo Niagara International Airport X/Twitter account recently shared a close-up video of the Broncos’ team plane touching down in the snow-covered landscape. The video is a breathtaking view of the massive aircraft making a precise and smooth landing despite the brutal winter conditions. The snow-covered runway and the chill of the Buffalo air only add to the dramatic ambiance of the moment, which showcases the skilled pilots and airport crew ensuring a flawless landing. As the plane skims the runway, fans are given a front-row seat to the precision and expertise that went into making the landing happen safely.

In the video, the Boeing 747-400 makes its descent gracefully, emphasizing just how significant the moment is for both the team and the fans back home in Denver. The Broncos are heading into this postseason as heavy underdogs, and the landing serves as a visual metaphor for their journey so far: overcoming challenges, making it through difficult terrain, and getting closer to their ultimate goal. The snowy conditions in Buffalo could mirror the tough road the Broncos have faced this season, but with determination and skill, they’ve made it to this pivotal moment.

    Denver’s Unlikely Playoff Push

Broncos Plane Arrives in Snowy Buffalo Ahead of Playoff Game

While the Broncos may not have been considered among the top contenders at the start of the 2024 season, their 10-7 record speaks volumes about the team’s growth and resilience. After a rocky few years, this is the first time in nearly a decade that Denver has secured a spot in the postseason, and it’s a testament to the turnaround under Payton’s leadership. Many experts predicted the Broncos would finish below .500, and few thought they would even come close to playoff contention. But now, after overcoming adversity, they’re preparing for a chance to battle one of the AFC’s top teams.

The Broncos’ impressive turnaround is in large part due to Payton’s coaching, which has revitalized both the offense and the defense. Quarterback Russell Wilson, who struggled in his first season in Denver, has shown marked improvement, and the defense has been a force to be reckoned with. With players stepping up in key moments, the Broncos have been able to outperform their expectations.

Heading into their Wild Card matchup against the Buffalo Bills, Denver is expected to be a significant underdog. The Bills, who have been one of the top teams in the AFC for several seasons, entered the 2024 playoffs as one of the favorites to win Super Bowl 59. Led by star quarterback Josh Allen, Buffalo has the advantage in experience and firepower. But despite the odds stacked against them, the Broncos have nothing to lose. For them, this is a chance to make a statement on the biggest stage and to prove that they belong.

The Broncos’ mindset heading into this game is one of pride and determination. With the weight of being an underdog, they have the freedom to play with nothing to lose. Their ability to reach the playoffs is already a significant accomplishment, and they are eager to show they can compete against the best in the league.

    Buffalo’s High Expectations and Pressure

While the Denver Broncos are viewed as the underdogs, the Buffalo Bills are under intense pressure to perform. After three consecutive losses in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, the Bills are desperately seeking to finally break through to the Super Bowl. Josh Allen, who has been the face of the franchise for years, has often faced scrutiny for his inability to deliver in the postseason. With the Bills’ Super Bowl window wide open, the 2024 playoffs are seen as a make-or-break moment for the team, particularly for Allen.

Buffalo has been favored to win the AFC for multiple years, but they have yet to secure a championship appearance, and the mounting pressure to succeed has only increased with each playoff exit. The Broncos will be looking to take advantage of this pressure, using their underdog status to play freely and unencumbered by expectations. While Denver’s path to the playoffs has been a pleasant surprise, Buffalo’s journey has been filled with disappointment in recent years. The Bills will need to overcome both the pressure of their own expectations and the challenge posed by the Broncos’ determined squad.

A Win for the Broncos Regardless of Outcome

No matter the outcome of the game, the 2024 season has already been a success for the Denver Broncos. After several seasons of mediocrity, they’ve shown that the team is back on the rise. The future looks bright for Denver, with an exciting coaching staff, improved talent on both sides of the ball, and a renewed sense of hope for the years ahead. The Broncos’ playoff berth serves as validation of their progress under Sean Payton, and it signals that the team is heading in the right direction.

Whether they emerge victorious over the Buffalo Bills or not, the Broncos can hold their heads high. They have defied the odds and given their fans something to cheer for, a thrilling and unexpected playoff run that has brought a new sense of optimism to Mile High City. As the team heads into Sunday’s showdown with Buffalo, they will do so with confidence, knowing they have already proven their worth.

As for the fans, they’ll continue to ride the wave of excitement as their team faces a tough challenge, but no matter what happens, this season has already been a victory for the Denver Broncos.

New Orleans Pelicans Stun The NBA By Trading Superstar Brandon Ingram To NBA Heavyweight In Blockbuster Trade Proposal

With the New Orleans Pelicans enduring another tremendously disappointing season, star big man Brandon Ingram is another name to follow in the trade rumor mill.

The Pelicans enter Thursday as the worst team in the Western Conference (5-22), with only the Washington Wizards (3-21) displaying an inferior record. It’s clear that a rebuild is necessary in NOLA, and that would start with trading core players like Brandon Ingram and/or Zion Williamson.

Svyatoslav Rovenchuk of Athlon Sports recently proposed a blockbuster trade idea that has New Orleans trading Ingram and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to the powerhouse Golden State Warriors in exchange for Jonathan Kuminga, Gary Payton II, Kevon Looney and De’Anthony Melton:

“The swap allows the Warriors to add another All-Star caliber player around Curry. Meanwhile, the Pelicans land a worthwhile young prospect and a handful of expiring contracts. One could argue that Golden State would need to add some sort of draft pick compensation too, but given Ingram’s modest value, Kuminga may offer more than enough appeal to not have to do so.”

Ingram is having another productive season, averaging 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game. The Warriors already completed a trade for Dennis Schröder with the Brooklyn Nets, but adding Ingram to a group led by Stephen Curry and Buddy Hield could take this offense to another level.

The 27-year-old Ingram came over to New Orleans as part of the 2019 blockbuster trade that saw Anthony Davis go to the Los Angeles Lakers. Ingram has done his part for New Orleans, but it feels like a good time to move on with a Pelicans rebuild inevitable.

Brandon Ingram Would Make Warriors Even More Potent

The Warriors sit in a three-way tie for sixth in the Western Conference with a record of 14-11. By adding a player like Ingram, they would close the gap with top Eastern Conference clubs like the Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks.

Smith has been a staple on ESPN for many years and, according to him, works 330 days a year. Speaking to Cam’ron on the rapper’s ‘Talk With Flee’ podcast, he revealed it’s why he’s never been married.

“I know that it’s hard, I know that it’s worn on some people as well,” he said. “It is the reason why I’ve never been married, because I was on the road 200 days out of the year and the fact of the matter is at that time it was no way in hell I was going to be faithful. I knew that, so why the hell am I going to sit up there and violate my marital vows knowing ahead of time I ain’t going to honor them?”

Well, at least he’s honest. But this could backfire if he ever finds someone he wants to settle down with while still working a hectic schedule at ESPN.

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo also promoted betting on his X account before Christmas. He wrote, “Betano came through this Xmas Keep an eye on their accounts for something special…#GiannisxBetano.”

Fans began trolling James and Antetokounmpo for promoting betting in the comment section on X. They pointed out that, despite being wealthy, the stars still endorse gambling. One fan remarked, “Why you shilling this crap? You’re filthy rich already.”

Meanwhile, another fan criticized James by saying, “You really needed this bag?”

Stephen Curry Looks Back At Epic Rivalry With LeBron James Before Christmas Day Game

On Christmas Day, Stephen Curry is scheduled to face LeBron James in the much-anticipated showdown between the Lakers and the Warriors. Before this epic game, Curry openly discussed his thoughts on the rivalry with James during an interview on ESPN’s “NBA Today.”

“It’s a fun battle because of the longevity of how long we’ve been doing this. There’s more appreciation and respect than probably back in the day because there was a lot of pettiness and resentment. The rivalry was real but it evolves and you still want to go at each other, but the respect is there.” Curry said during an appearance on ESPN’s NBA Today on Tuesday.

The Lakers are currently in 7th place in the Western Conference standings, with a record of 16 wins and 13 losses. The Warriors are in 8th place, also with a record of 16 wins and 13 losses. The game between the Lakers and Warriors will start at 8:00 PM ET at Chase Center.

Doc Rivers Perfectly Explains The Real Reason Behind Intriguing Khris Middleton Roster Move Amid A Rough Season

Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton was removed from the starting line-up recently. Facing off against the San Antonio Spurs, Middleton could be spotted coming in off the bench. Now, while such a move fueled his trade rumors significantly, the Bucks’ Head Coach had a more rational explanation for the same.

Doc Rivers explains the real reason behind Khris Middleton's roster move, offering clarity amid a tough season for the player

Doc Rivers and Khris Middleton (Images Credit: Getty Images)

Speaking with Eric Nehm of The Athletic, Rivers stated that the only reason for Middleton getting benched was his tendinitis niggle. Terming the issue as a “minute thing,” Rivers expressed his concerns at how Middleton’s tendinitis kept coming back.

“He keeps getting the tendinitis. It’s just not improving to the place he wants it or we want it. And so we just gotta monitor it. We’re cutting his minutes back a little bit and just trying to make sure he can get through this,” said Rivers.

Now, there are reasons for his trade rumors getting fueled. With a scoring average of 12.7 points, Middleton will likely be replaced by Taurean Prince. While Rivers did not confirm the news, the fact of the matter remains that this is Middleton’s worst average since his sophomore year. Meanwhile, Doc Rivers also expressed his concerns and vouched for a major change of rule.

Doc Rivers Unhappy About Post NBA Cup Fixtures

When Will Khris Middleton Return? Doc Rivers Reveals Timeline for 3x All-Star's Season Debut - EssentiallySports

Doc Rivers helped the Milwaukee Bucks win the NBA Cup emphatically. However, despite having the cream of the tournament, the Bucks HC did not seem too happy. A major reason for this was that the Bucks had no rest days. They had to jump into the regular season games right away.

Rivers was so annoyed that he took things up with none other than Adam Silver. “I can be honest, I don’t know if we’ve recovered yet… It just takes a lot. I just think after the Cup, the first game should be probably on Sunday. You know, that would be great for everybody. That’s exactly what I was talking to him about, you know… He asked me what changes [he] should make,” said Rivers.

Thus, it is evident that Doc Rivers is not shy about expressing his opinions. However, seeing how he makes the Milwaukee Bucks perform for the rest of the season will be interesting.

He is specifically focused on their defense against Jalen Brunson and Karl Anthony-Towns who scored 44 and 30, respectively.

“We haven’t down well with them in two games. Haven’t guard Towns well. And he shot 58 percent so it is not just Jalen. The whole team’s 44 [percent] from the three. 58 from the two,” Rivers said post-game.

Brunson had a field day on Sunday with his match-ups getting into foul trouble early. He in fact drew five fouls in the first quarter alone. Andre Jackson Jr. got three while AJ Green had four.

Fourth quarter is where the Bucks dropped off, scoring just 17 points against their hosts’ 32.

“We still have to play through that [absence of GT]. We put AJ Green on a tough spot. Dre over-committed on too much stuff in the first quarter. Two of them [fouls] were bad to be honest. That has a ripple effect when you don’t have depth,” he said.

The Bucks fall to sixth place with the loss after climbing the fourth place for a time.

They will go back home to host the Sacramento Kings and the Orlando Magic on a back-to-back.
