Another player who did not play in the All-Star Game because of injury was Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. Antetokounmpo was injured way before the all-star weekend. He has missed the last few games for Milwaukee and it will be interesting to see when he will return to the lineup for them.

Minnesota Timberwolves Anthony Edwards Comments On Whether Or Not Giannis Antetokounmpo Would Do the Dunk Contest

Mac McClung won the dunk contest for the third straight year. With McClung winning it three years in a row, there may be some stars in the NBA who may join in the contest next year. Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, and some other stars were thinking about it and tweeting about it on Twitter.

Antetokounmpo mentioned in a press conference that his kids hacked his Twitter account when referencing dunking in the dunk contest next year. Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards was asked about whether or not the Bucks superstar would participate in it next year. Edwards said:

“Giannis is an in-game dunker. I don’t feel like he’s a dunk contest type of guy.”

Those are some interesting words from the Timberwolves superstar. It remains to be seen if there will be challengers for Mac McClung next year, although San Antonio Spurs rookie Stephon Castle did a pretty good job of competing with him.

It remains to be seen if Giannis Antetokounmpo will do the dunk contest next year. However, a dunk contest with more NBA superstars would be fun to watch also. It used to happen in the 1990s, so why can’t it happen now? There will be a lot to watch for from the Milwaukee Bucks superstar and others heading into next year also.

Elon Musk’s daughter shares savage post over claims her father has welcomed his 13th child

As widely reported, Ashley St. Clair – a 26-year-old American influencer and writer – took to X on Friday (February 14) to claim that she and the 53-year-old billionaire share a child.

In the statement, St. Clair explained that she had no intention of making this information public but felt pressure from the media to do so.

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days, it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” her announcement read.

“I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment,” St. Clair said. “For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy and refrain from invasive reporting.”

Her post was captioned with the Latin phrase, “Alea Iacta Est,” which means: “The die is cast.”

Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, who has openly criticized the Tesla founder on social media, reacted to the 13th baby announcement with a savage post shared on TikTok.

In her video, the 21-year-old revealed that she found out about the news through Reddit and added that it wasn’t the first time she had learned about a new half-sibling online.

“Wow, if I had a nickel for every time I found out I had half-siblings through Reddit, I’d have two nickels… which isn’t a lot but, it’s weird that it’s happened twice, right?” she wrote, referencing a popular meme from Disney’s Phineas and Ferb.

The post quickly gained traction, with Wilson, who is transgender, later taking to Meta’s Threads to reveal that she actually found out about six of her half-siblings this way.

  • The Story Behind Willie Nelson’s Smoke Session On The White House Roof

The Story Behind Willie Nelson’s Smoke Session On The White House Roof

Willie Nelson Once Enjoyed A Smoke Session On The Roof Of The White House

When people think of the outlaw country movement, Willie Nelson’s name is one of the first that comes to mind. Defined by a brand new sound, the outlaw country movement was fueled by the rowdy and rebellious attitudes of the artists who pioneered it.

Nelson allegedly pulled off the ultimate act of rebellion while he was in Washington D.C. in the late 1970s. President Jimmy Carter was in office at the time, and he happened to be good friends with Nelson. He invited Nelson to the White House for dinner one night, and the rest as they say, is history.

Legend has it that while visiting the White House on that occasion, Nelson climbed up to the roof and smoked some marijuana. You would think the story is that simple, but there’s a lot more to unravel.

Michael Ochs Archives / Getty Images

Have You Heard This Story Before?

The tale of Nelson’s famous smoke session first came up in his 1988 autobiography Willie: An Autobiography:

“Sitting on the roof of the White House in Washington, D.C. late last night with a beer in one hand and a fat Austin Torpedo in the other. My companion on the roof was pointing out to me the sights and layout of how the streets run in Washington…I let the weed cover me with a pleasing cloud…I guess the roof of the White House is the safest place to smoke dope.”

For some time, Nelson refrained from naming the companion that joined him on the White House roof that night. The story didn’t really come up that much more until author Joe Nick Patoski published a biography about Nelson in 2008, titled Willie Nelson: An Epic Life.

Patoski provided further support for Nelson’s story in his autobiography. He dropped a hint about who his smoking buddy was that night, saying it was “one of the Carter boys.”

    The Story Unravels Further…

Nelson continued to remain coy about the story when asked about it in interviews. In 2012, a CNN reporter asked him “Is it true you rolled a joint on the roof of the White House?

Nelson’s response to the question was priceless:

No I rolled it before I got up there,” he said before taking a sip from his coffee.

Then, Nelson described the story once again in his 2015 autobiography It’s a Long Story: My Life:

Getting stoned on the roof of the White House, you can’t help but turn inward,” he wrote in the book.

Willie Nelson: I rolled joint at White House

But when asked about the incident during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, he went back to being coy once more. “I’ve heard that once you get up there [on the roof of the White House], all the streets are coming in at you from different directions,” he said.

The biggest revelation in this bizarre story emerged a few months after the release of It’s a Long Story. It happened when Nelson was being interviewed by GQ, as he basically admitted who his companion was on that night.

When the interviewer asked if it was President Carter’s middle son, Chip, that joined him for his smoke session, Nelson came as close to confirming it as possible. “Looked a lot like,” he said. “Could have been, yeah.”

In conclusion, Nelson told GQ that while he isn’t going to deny the White House roof story, it’s not something he feels the need to mention a bunch:

“Well, I don’t really go around bragging about that. It happened, and it’s something that I don’t deny, you know, but I don’t bring it up all the time.”

However, country fans like to constantly recall the story of Nelson’s White House escapades. Since the story is so off-the-wall, they view it as the perfect way of defining just how wild country music can really be.

Did you learn anything new about this epic tale? We’d love to hear from you!

During the Q&A portion of the panel, Priscilla mentioned that her acting career played a significant role in helping to establish her own name.

“I think the movies that I’ve done. I think [because] basically, it was my choice,” she said, according to People. “The movies I loved and, I mean, Naked Guns. Being on Dallas was great.”

She added, “That really freed me a bit of being my own person.”

Since starting her acting career in the early 80s, Priscilla has taken on multiple successful projects. She is best known for starring as Jenna Wade in the soap opera Dallas from 1983 to 1988. Shortly after, she played Jane Spencer in the Naked Gun spy comedy film trilogy from 1988 to 1991.

While speaking at the Comic Con panel, Priscilla also gave her opinion on how others choose to honor Elvis Presley, including those who cover his songs and dress up as him.

“I think it’s keeping his name out there with the younger people, and I know a lot of people who have taken their kids to see the … what do you call it? Impersonators. And these little kids are loving it,” she said. “At first, I didn’t like it. Then, I was seeing what’s happening with these kids, young kids who are dressed like Elvis. 5-year-olds. I’m thinking, ‘It’s keeping him in the picture, alive, and so, I don’t mind it.’”

The record for the largest attended concert in U.S. history is currently held by George Strait

Stephen A. Smith recently stirred up a heated debate when he publicly called out LSU’s Angel Reese, responding to her latest on-court move. In typical fashion, the outspoken sports commentator didn’t hold back, putting Reese in what many saw as her place after the controversial stunt. Smith made it clear that while Reese is undeniably talented, she’s not on the same level as Caitlin Clark, the standout star from Iowa who’s been dominating the basketball world.

Smith’s comments came after Reese’s actions during a recent game, which some fans and analysts felt were excessive. While Reese has been a standout player in her own right, Smith’s remarks sparked a conversation about the ongoing rivalry between the two stars. He pointed out that Reese, while a force to be reckoned with, should not be trying to emulate Clark’s style or behavior on the court, suggesting that each player should forge their own identity.

For many fans, Smith’s comments felt like a reality check for Reese, a reminder that she still has a long way to go to match Clark’s legacy and consistency. The remark fueled an already hot debate about the dynamics between the two players, with some defending Reese and others agreeing with Smith’s assessment. It also raised questions about the pressures athletes face when they try to match or surpass the performances of their peers.

Despite the backlash, Reese has shown resilience and continues to perform at a high level, proving that she’s not easily swayed by public criticism. However, the controversy also underscores the fierce competition between the rising stars of college basketball. Fans of both players have weighed in, with some feeling that Smith’s comments were harsh while others agreed that it’s time for Reese to step into her own spotlight.

    Angel Reese

The 3-on-3 Unrivaled league has quickly become a battleground for some of the most competitive players in women’s basketball. On Monday night, the spotlight was on Golden State Valkyries guard Kate Martin and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, who brought their heated college rivalry to the professional stage in Miami, Florida.
The clash between Reese‘s Rose Basketball Club and Martin‘s Laces Basketball Club delivered fireworks, with Martin ultimately prevailing 71-64.

The matchup was as intense as expected, reigniting a rivalry that traces back to their NCAA days. Reese delivered a standout performance, but Martin‘s team proved superior, adding another layer of intrigue to their storied history.

In the first quarter, with the Laces holding a slim 13-12 lead, Reese made an aggressive drive to the basket. Kate Martin, refusing to back down, met Reese mid-air and committed a hard foul that sent Reese crashing to the floor.

Although Reese missed the shot, she converted her free throw attempt-worth two points under Unrivaled’s unique scoring system.

Social media buzzed with reactions to the clash. Fans were quick to share their opinions on the moment. “OMG Kate almost sent Barbie back to the bayou,” one fan quipped. “Kate low-key revenge fouling Angel,” another added.

“No way Angel scores if Kate doesn’t foul her…completely out of control,” a third commented.

Despite the loss, Reese tallied an impressive 17 points, seven rebounds, and two assists before fouling out. Martin contributed seven points, six rebounds, and a defensive presence that helped seal the victory. Kayla McBride delivered the game-winning shot for the Laces, adding to the drama.

From College Rivals to Professional Foes

The history between Reese and Martin goes back to the 2023 NCAA National Championship, where Reese‘s LSU Tigers dominated Iowa, 102-85, to claim the title.

However, Martin and Iowa exacted revenge in the 2024 Elite Eight, knocking LSU out of contention. These encounters have fueled a rivalry that continues to captivate fans.

Caitlin Clark, Martin’s best friend and Iowa teammate, was undoubtedly thrilled to see her ally triumph. Known for her competitive edge, Clark has been a consistent presence in the narrative surrounding Reese and Martin. Her support adds another layer of complexity to this already intense rivalry.
