People often say that kids keep you humble, and there’s no one more dedicated to that role than North West.

It’s no secret that 9-year-old North — the eldest child of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West — is well in the know when it comes to her parents’ celebrity status. And with that in mind, she’s certainly not afraid to poke a little fun at her famous family too.

It appears that North — the child who once responded “Kanye West is my dad” when asked who her favorite rapper was — has now stumbled upon some of her mother’s most iconic moments, namely those made famous by Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Channeling a mix of her mom’s drama queen energy and her father’s stage presence, North put on a show for her and Kim’s 8.8 million TikTok followers over the weekend, lip-synching to a viral mashup of some of her mom’s memorable quotes.

Sporting long blond locks, a pair of familiar-looking black shades, and a makeshift shirt devised from the same yellow Balenciaga body tape Kim rocked earlier this year, North did her best impression, starting out with the line: “Hi I’m Kim Kardashian West.”

We then got a glimpse at her perfected Kim K crying face with a stellar reenactment of the moment her mom lost her diamond earring in the ocean.

And she eventually closed the performance with her (censored) take on one of the most parodied reality TV scenes in history: Kim swinging her handbag at Khloé, demanding: “Don’t be fucking rude!”

Of course, if you keep up with North and Kim’s joint TikTok account, you’ll know that Northie has plenty of practice when it comes to impersonating her mom.

In actual fact, just a day earlier North was kind enough to let the Skims founder join in for a cameo as the duo lip-synched to another of her most iconic one-liners.

Playing the role of Wendy Williams, Kim helped North reenact an infamous 2009 interview when, after being asked if she had any tattoos, Kim simply replied: “Honey, would you put a bumper sticker on a Bentley?”

And while she’s better known for her making TikToks dancing to her dad’s countless hits, North recently reminded us of her mom’s lesser-known musical career by lip-synching to her underrated single from 2011, “Jam (Turn It Up).”

Being one of the eldest KarJenner grandchildren, it’s no surprise to see North embracing her family’s pop culture heritage and jumping on the latest TikTok trends. However, she took things to a whole new level over the weekend when she became Kris Jenner for the night.

Khloé’s lengthy message comes a year after she revealed her soul was “at a breaking point” because of the public’s constant judgment of her appearance.

And after the relentless jokes about Khloé’s appearance dominated social media for months, she wound up revealing during a 2021 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that her soul was “at a breaking point.”

Weeks later, fans went so far as to accuse Khloé of purposefully hiding her hands in a new Instagram photo in order to avoid any more ridicule. But Khloé was quick to shut the rumor down.

Responding to a follower who commented, “Oh lord, she’s hiding her hands,” Khloé replied, “Lol never. My hands are beautiful baby.”

Elon confirmed that Ye’s account was suspended for “incitement to violence” on Thursday, just months after the rapper lost several lucrative business deals following more antisemitic remarks.

“YE24. LOVE EVERYONE #LOVESPEECH,” the rapper wrote alongside the image, referring to his plans to run for the US presidency in the next election. Ye previously embarked on a presidential run in 2020, and publicly befriended former Republican president, Donald Trump, over the years prior.

Ye’s tweet was quickly removed from the platform and instead replaced with a note confirming that it had “violated” Twitter’s rules.

Ye later posted a shirtless photo of Twitter’s chief executive officer, Elon Musk, and wrote, “Let’s always remember this as my final tweet #ye24.” Elon quickly replied, “That is fine.” In response to Ye’s deleted tweet, he wrote, “This is not.”

Ye then tweeted several screenshots of his personal text messages with Elon, which revealed that the tech mogul had reached out to him to condemn his tweet.

This all comes after months of other antisemitic comments from Ye, all of which have seen him lose business ties with the likes of Adidas, Vogue, and Balenciaga.

On Oct. 9, Ye was banned from Twitter after posting about his plan to go “death con 3 on JEWISH PEOPLE,” and later axed from Instagram when he claimed that Sean Combs was being manipulated by Jewish people.

Balenciaga, who has been linked with Ye for years, announced that it had cut ties with the rapper on Oct. 21, and confirmed that it “no longer” had “any plans for future projects related to this artist.” On the same day, Vogue revealed that it would not be working with Ye for the foreseeable future.

Ye was also dropped by his talent agency, CAA, which confirmed to Billboard that its decadelong representation of the artist was over on Oct. 24. The following day, his lucrative partnership with Adidas — which was worth $1.5 billion — was severed, too.

The KarJenners have their social media strategy down pat. As some of the most-followed celebs in the world, they’ve become experts at posing for pics, editing them to perfection, and penning flawless captions. They’re always on their social media A-game, which is exactly why fans were shocked when Kris Jenner accidentally posted an unedited photo of her family. The momager quickly realized what she’d done and took the photo down, but not before fans caught a screenshot the original.

The photo in question was shared on Chicago West’s 4th birthday, and included a slew of adorable photos with the birthday girl. The corresponding caption was equally as sweet. “Happy birthday to my beautiful granddaughter Chicago!!!!” Jenner wrote. “You have the sweetest spirit and always have the cutest little smile on your face with the softest little voice and your precious laughter lights up wherever you are!”

Jenner added that Chicago is “an amazing sister, daughter, granddaughter, cousin and niece,” and that she brings “so much joy and happiness every single day” to the family. What she didn’t realize? One of the photos in her slideshow was completely unfiltered. While it’s of course no big deal to post an unfiltered photo, it was pretty surprising considering how much the Kardashians love their filters. Fans were quick to screenshot the photo and share it to the Keeping Up with the Kardashians Reddit.

The KarJenners still looked beautiful, but fans were surprised to see the unfiltered pic hit the internet. As it turns out, Jenner ended up taking the post down soon after and replacing it with a different one, suggesting she probably uploaded the pic by mistake.

“Omg she took this down! It’s not posted anymore,” one person commented below the new post. “She reposted the birthday post without that pic lol,” another said.

The post arrived just days after Khloé Kardashian caught flack from fans for an apparent photoshop fail on a recent picture. Will the KarJenners stop editing their selfies anytime soon? Probably not. Donald Trump bizarrely and falsely claimed an endorsement from Taylor Swift on Sunday via a series of AI-generated images posted to his Truth Social account.

One of the images depicts a photoshopped picture of Swift dressed in an Uncle Sam-style outfit reminiscent of classic military recruitment posters, with text reading, “TAYLOR WANTS YOU TO VOTE FOR DONALD TRUMP.”

Additionally, Trump shared a fake news article that falsely claimed Swift’s fans are “turning to Trump” following a recent terror plot targeting her concert in Vienna, Austria.

The collage of posts also featured AI-generated photos of women wearing “Swifties for Trump” t-shirts.

To be clear, Swift has not endorsed any candidate for president in the 2024 election. However, in the 2020 election she endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

Ten years ago this fall, there came a VMAs moment that will live forever in infamy. On one level, the fact that the scandal would go on to have such legs seems absurd. It was such a petty nothing of a moment! A drunk celebrity with a history of being volatile acted out at an awards show: So what? Why was that such a big deal? Why is it so ingrained in our cultural consciousness now, 10 years later?

But the resulting fallout was explosive. What happened at the 2009 VMAs helped define Twitter as the conversation driver it is today. The story foreshadowed Kanye West’s eventual transformation into a pop culture villain, which would be realized with West’s embrace of Donald Trump and Trumpism. It set the narrative that Taylor Swift would always be a pop culture victim, for better or for worse. And the way it has influenced their two images in the decade since follows the lines of major schisms in American culture.

So as the 2019 MTV VMAs arrive, let’s take a look back at the 2009 VMAs and their long, long shadow.

Kanye West arrived on the red carpet of the 2009 VMAs clutching a bottle of Hennessy. In pictures of the red carpet on Getty Wire, you can see the level in the bottle gradually dropping as he makes his way up the carpet and drinks more and more. Kanye wasn’t performing that night, but he was nominated in multiple categories, and he was seated in the front row. According to Billboard’s oral history of the evening, he passed the bottle around to fellow celebrities as he waited for the show to start.

Taylor Swift arrived on the red carpet in a fanciful glass pumpkin-shaped Cinderella coach, wearing a glittering silver gown. She was in the process of crossing over from the country music scene to mainstream pop, and for the first time, she’d been invited to perform at the VMAs to sing “You Belong With Me.” She was also up for an award, for the “You Belong With Me” video. The coach and gown were a deliberate reference: Taylor was Cinderella, and the VMAs were the ball at which she could make her entrée into the world of pop music.

Taylor was nominated in only one category, Best Video by a Female Artist. Her big competition was Beyoncé, whose video for “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)” was one of the most acclaimed of the year. But Beyoncé was also up for the far more prestigious Video of the Year award, for which Taylor was not nominated — so when Taylor won the Best Female Video award before the ceremony had even reached its first commercial break, most people didn’t interpret her win as Taylor definitively beating Beyoncé. It was more likely that Beyoncé would get her moment later in the night.

Now, as the clip resurfaced, Vance began facing the wrath of fans of Taylor Swift, who is childless and is a proud cat mom. She is known to have several cats, including two Scottish Folds named Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey and a Ragdoll cat named Benjamin Button.

The resurfaced clip came after Joe Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed Harris. Harris is married to longtime entertainment lawyer Doug Emhoff, and has two step-children named Ella and Cole Emhoff.

During the conversation with Carlson, Vance also suggested that “if we want a healthy ruling class in this country, we should invest more, we should vote more, we should support more people who actually have kids. Because those are the people who ultimately have a more direct stake in the future of this country.”

On facing backlash for his comments, Vance had said that he believes he “struck a nerve.” “I mean, these people recognize that they’re unhappy. They’re living in one-bedroom apartments in New York City. They’ve played their entire lives to win a status game. Justin Bieber cancels shows after half of his face is left paralyzed by virus

Justin Bieber revealed on Friday that a virus has left the right side of his face paralyzed, forcing him to cancel a number of shows.

The 28-year-old musician announced in an Instagram video shared with his 240 million followers that the condition is due to a diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome.

According to Mayo Clinic, Ramsay Hunt syndrome is when “a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near someone’s ears” which is what Bieber explained in the video.

Earlier this week, the ‘Peaches’ singer postponed the opening stretch of the North American leg of the Justice World Tour, at the time citing an unspecified “sickness”.

“It is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis,” the Canada-born singer said in the three-minute video, pointing to the right side of his face.

Bieber asked his fans to be patient as more of his upcoming dates will likely get canceled, adding that he is “physically, obviously, not capable of doing them”.

The ‘Baby’ singer tried to smile and blink to show fans how the side of his face does not move, saying: “This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish this wasn’t the case, but, obviously, my body’s telling me I’ve got to slow down.”

“I hope you guys understand. I’ll be using this time to just rest and relax and get back to a hundred percent so that I can do what I was born to do,” he added.

Bieber comforted fans that his facial paralysis will subside over time. “I’m doing all of these facial exercises to get my face back to normal,” he said, highlighting that “it will go back to normal, it’s just time, and we don’t know how much time it’s going to be”.

He concluded: “I have hope, and I trust God, and I trust that this is… all for a reason. I’m not sure what that is right now, but in the meantime, I’m going to rest.”

The Mayo Clinic says that for most people, the symptoms of Ramsay Hunt syndrome are temporary but can become permanent.

It’s not confirmed when the singer will be back on stage. In an update posted to his Instagram Story just hours ago, he noted that “[it’s] been getting progressively harder to eat, which has been extremely frustrating”.

‘Super creepy’ video of 40-year-old Diddy with 15-year-old Justin Bieber resurfaces amid allegations

Unsettling footage of Diddy hanging out with 15-year-old Justin Bieber has resurfaced after the rapper’s homes were raided by Homeland Security.

The rapper and music executive – who is formerly known as Puff Daddy – is facing civil lawsuits over alleged sexual assault and sex trafficking.

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed on Monday (March 25) that agents have raided properties in Los Angeles, Miami, and New York that belong to the 54-year-old.

In a statement, they wrote: “Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners,” per The Independent. “We will provide further information as it becomes available.”

His legal team insisted he was innocent, and added: “There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name.”

Combs says that he was “given custody” of Bieber and noted: “You know, he’s signed to Usher and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album. I did Usher’s first album. For the next 48 hours, he’s with me. And we’re gonna go full. Buck full crazy.”

The ‘Never Say Never’ hitmaker says “Let’s go get some girls,” when Diddy asks what he wants to do. “Man after my heart,” the rapper responds. “That’s what I’m talking about.”

The bizarre clip circulated on X (formerly Twitter) and garnered reactions from many users. One person said: “It’s super creepy seeing all these videos of Diddy that’s coming out.”

Another commented: “What 40-year-old wants to ‘hang out’ with a 15-year-old?” while a third added: “That is just strange.”

Combs took to Instagram to issue a statement denying the damning allegations against him, writing: “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy.”

“Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth,” he added.
