Jon Bon Jovi’s son Jesse Bongiovi reportedly followed his dad’s footsteps by tying the knot in the same Las Vegas chapel his parents eloped at back in 1989.

The 29-year-old’s Sin City nuptials to longtime girlfriend Jesse Light took place on Tuesday, according to People.

While the outlet did not name the chapel in question, Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea Hurley, famously wed at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in August 1989.

The rocker, who was on tour with his band at the time, told People in April that his loved ones were “shocked” by the high school sweethearts’ decision.

He explained, “It’s a shame because it should have been a beautiful moment, but after we did it, people were trying to take it away.”

The Grammy winner, 62, and Hurley, 61, went on to welcome four children — Stephanie, 30, Jesse, Jake, 22, and Romeo, 20.

Beauty Queen Accused of Plotting to ‘….’ NFL Player’s Ex-Husband to Be Released – Shocking New Details!

Georgia mom Lindsay Shiver, who is accused of plotting to hire a hitman to kill her estranged husband, ex-NFL player Robert Shiver, with help from her alleged Bahamian lover, was reportedly expected to be released from a Bahamas prison on bail.

Shiver, 38, is expected to return to the United States after posting $100,000 bail, according to “Good Morning America,” which interviewed Shiver last year, sparking backlash from the Nassau judge overseeing the Georgia beauty pageant winner’s case.

Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson revoked Shiver’s bail last year after the GMA interview, calling it a “blatant disregard for the court’s leniency and indulgence,” but she reportedly reversed her decision this week upon the condition that Shiver and her 30-year-old lover, Terrance Bethel, maintain their silence as part of a gag order.

Shiver’s Bahamas attorney, Ian Cargill, said she was expected to be released on bail on Thursday, WDHN reported. Cargill did not immediately respond to an inquiry from Fox News Digital regarding her reported release.

Shiver, along with her lover, Bethel, and the alleged hitman, Faron Newbold Jr., were arrested in the Bahamas in July 2023. They pleaded not guilty to all charges.

“This cannot and will not be tolerated. What the respondents have done can be seen by the applicant as a spit in the face of justice,” Grant-Thompson wrote in a Monday filing, according to Loop News.

Shiver’s attorneys reportedly argued that she did not breach her jail conditions, which the judge disagreed with.

“It was clearly laid out that if Mrs. Shiver wished to travel or move outside of the designated area, she was first to contact and request the permission of the court,” the judge wrote in her ruling, adding that her decision to revoke bail was also to take Shiver “out of harm’s way” after a different boyfriend tried to “choke and suffocate her with a pillow in Alabama,” according to Loop News.

Grant-Thompson previously released Shiver, who has three children, in December 2023 on $100,000 bail and allowed her to travel back to the United States upon certain conditions, one of which Shiver apparently broke with her TV interview.

The Shivers reached a boiling point after 13 years of marriage, evident in divorce filings, with Robert accusing Lindsay of having an affair, and Lindsay countering with allegations of “physical and mental cruel treatment,” including accusations of domestic violence.

In bodycam footage previously obtained by Fox News Digital, Lindsay called 911 on Robert on July 16, 2023, after he refused to let her hitch a ride on their private jet to meet her lover in the Bahamas.

That same day, she allegedly wrote “Kill him,” in a WhatsApp message to Newbold. Five days later, she was arrested in the Bahamas, along with Bethel and Newbold, for conspiring to murder Robert.

Robert told the judge he was “thankful to be alive” during a December 2023 court appearance, where he appeared via Zoom, as Court TV previously reported.

Peyton Manning advises Travis Kelce to take a beat before making any major career decisions following the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl defeat earlier this month.

Kelce addressed the speculation on last week’s episode of his “New Heights” podcast and acknowledged that people are invested in his future.

“I know everybody wants to know whether or not I’m playing next year,” he said.

“Right now, I’m just kicking everything down the road. … I’m not making any crazy decisions, but right now, the biggest thing is just being there for my teammates and being there for my coaches, understanding that there’s a lot goes into this thing.”

The three-time Super Bowl champion confessed that the whole situation is a “tough reality” for him, so he’s “going to take some time to figure it out.”

Travis Kelce signed a two-year contract extension with the Chiefs last year, seemingly hinting at playing through his age-36 season. But the future Hall of Famer hasn’t yet committed to returning in 2025, with retirement very much on the table.

Sabrina Carpenter parodies one of Taylor Swift’s biggest songs on SNL.

During the special 50th anniversary episode of SNL, “Please Please Please” singer Sabrina Carpenter parodied one of her close friends, Taylor Swift, who she opened for on the Eras Tour.

She appeared during a sketch where she parodied Swift’s “You Belong With Me.” Carpenter performed with Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, and Sarah Sherman. They mention Swift’s real-life boyfriend, Travis Kelce, during the parody.

“After the show, it’s Madame Tussauds in Times Square / There’s a wax Kanu Reeves, but Kelce doesn’t care / It’s clear that Kelce’s mind is elsewhere,” they began. “Next up, we take a pedicab in Central Park / Kelce says there is a giant hole in my heart / She throws a coin into a fountain and then she whispers, ‘I wish I could be with him.’”

The SNL 50th anniversary sketch takes place at a wedding. The group of friends is singing for the bride, played by Chloe Fineman, before getting interrupted by Domingo (Marcello Hernández), which makes the groom uncomfortable. At the end, Hernández and Carpenter’s character pitch an “open relationship” to the couple.

It was a funny moment when Carpenter got to pay homage to Swift on SNL. One of Swift’s former close friends, Blake Lively, was there as well with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, amid the Justin Baldoni drama.

Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift go way back before the SNL sketch. Previously, Carpenter opened for Swift at 12 shows in 2024 on the Eras Tour.

She first joined Swift when she was in Melbourne, Australia. When Swift took the tour to Sydney, she did not have an opening act for her first show. Carpenter then joined her for the last three shows in Sydney before opening all six shows in Singapore.

They would reunite months later when Swift performed in New Orleans, Louisiana, on October 26, 2024. Carpenter came out when Swift was doing her surprise songs segment of the Eras Tour show. They performed a medley of two of Carpenter’s songs, “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” with “Is It Over Now?” in between.

While Carpenter was on tour with Swift, she was gearing up for the release of her sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet. She was gaining popularity for the album’s lead singles, “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.”

The album was released on August 23, 2024. On the same day as the album’s release, Carpenter released the third single, “Taste.” Since then, she released one more single, “Bed Chem,” on October 8, 2024.

On February 14, 2025, Carpenter released a deluxe version of the album. It featured a collaboration between her and Dolly Parton. They recorded a new country-inspired edition of “Please Please Please.”

Now, Carpenter is on a tour of her own. The Short n’ Sweet Tour was announced on June 20, 2024. She started it with a North American leg that began on September 23, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio.

Her run of 33 shows in North America concluded on November 18, 2024, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. She will now take the tour to Europe, starting the tour on March 3, 2025, in Dublin, Ireland.

Expect a “funny” appearance from Travis Kelce in Happy Gilmore 2, as star Adam Sandler praised the Kansas City Chiefs Chiefs tight end.

During an interview with Vanity Fair at the 50th anniversary episode of SNL, Sandler was asked to rate the tight end’s performance. “12,” he quickly replied. “Funny as hell. No kidding; unbelievable.”

This is great news for fans of Kelce and Happy Gilmore. He is one of the many celebrity cameos in the sequel (also included in the movie is Bad Bunny), and he will probably have a bit role.

 

Fans will not have to wait too much longer for Happy Gilmore 2. It recently wrapped filming in December 2024, so the post-production process is underway. Expect updates on a trailer and subsequent release coming in the near future.

What is Happy Gilmore 2 about?

The upcoming Happy Gilmore 2 will pair returning star Adam Sandler with new ones, such as Travis Kelce. It will also bring back Julie Bower, Christopher McDonald, Dennis Dugan, Allen Covert, and Ben Stiller from the first movie.

Some of the other stars include Margaret Qualley and Benny Safdie. Additionally, Eminem, Dan Patrick, Becky Lynch, Reggie Bush, and Maxwell Jacob Friedman (better known as MJF in AEW) will also appear alongside Kelce.

Sandler co-wrote the script with Tim Herlihy and also produced it via his Happy Madison Productions banner. Netflix holds the distribution rights to the sequel.

Happy Gilmore 2 is the latest venture between Adam Sandler and Netflix. He has starred in several movies for them, including Murder Mystery, Hustle, You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, Leo, and Spaceman.

What is Kelce up to?

Currently, Kelce is enjoying his offseason following the Kansas City Chiefs’ disappointing Super Bowl 59 performance. They lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22 as they attempted to win their third Super Bowl in a row.

Unfortunately, Travis Kelce was largely a non-factor in the game. He had four catches for 39 yards on six targets. That was still good enough to finish second on the team in catches and yards, though, behind Xavier Worthy (eight catches for 157 yards and two touchdowns).

Now, the star tight end will have a few months off before having to get back into football, should he choose to come back. There have been rumors of him hanging it up after the season. Chiefs fans will find out sooner or later whether or not he plans to play in 2025.

The 2024 NFL season was not one of Kelce’s best. He finished the season with 87 receptions, 12th in the league, but only 823 yards. He also only caught three touchdowns.

It was a continuation of his slow decline. After catching 110 passes for 1,338 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2022, he only caught 93 passes for 984 yards and five touchdowns in 2023. Still, the Chiefs managed to win the Super Bowl in both years.

Overall, Kelce has logged over 1,000 catches, 12,100 yards, and 77 touchdowns in his career. If he hangs it up, he will be regarded as one of the greatest tight ends ever. He is a three-time Super Bowl champion and has been named to seven All-Pro teams (four First-team, three Second-team). Additionally, Kelce is a 10-time Pro Bowler. He made it every year from 2015-24.
