For Lainey Wilson, the road to stardom wasn’t an overnight development. The country singer might sit on top of the genre thanks to albums like Whirlwind, but at one time, she wanted nothing more than to perform her songs on stage. Never losing sight of that dream, Wilson eventually found her way to the spotlight. And over the last few years, she dominated country music and continued to expand her career. Recently, she attended the Broken Bow Records Decades Party and decided to honor Jon Bon Jovi when she covered his hit song “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

Released in 1986 on the Slippery When Wet album, “Livin’ on a Prayer” became a signature song for the band Bon Jovi. Since its release, the song sold over 13 million copies and became one of the best singles of all time. Written by Bon Jovi, Desmond Child, and Richie Sambora, the hit song landed the group their first No.1 hit on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.

Although knowing the legacy surrounding the song, Wilson appeared to have fun when the song started to play. Captured by American Songwriter’s own Cindy Watts, Wilson worked the crowd, getting many of them to perform the song alongside her. With the crowd singing along and Wilson all smiles, the Decades Party seemed like a giant karaoke event.

Later on in the evening, Wilson linked with her good friend and country superstar Jelly Roll, along with Alexandra Kay, to cover Garth Brooks’ “Friends In Low Places.”

Lainey Wilson Ready To Get “Bored”

Having found her footing in country music, Wilson refused to waste time as she consistently released songs and toured the country. While loving every minute, the singer admitted to getting some sound advice from Miranda Lambert. “She was like, ‘It’s so important for me to get out there and scoop the poop and throw the hay and catch the horses. Those are the things that remind you what’s really important.’”

Wanting Wilson to pace herself, the singer agreed, admitting she needed to get “Bored.” But at the same time, Wilson is always looking for the next hit. “The truth is I can always fight for creativity. I’ve been able to write with such incredible writers [who] taught me how to put myself into the shoes of whatever we’re writing.”

Learning the craft of songwriting from some of the best names in country music, Wilson soaked in their knowledge and released hit songs like “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” and “Heart Like A Truck.”

Brittany Mahomes is sharing another peek at her baby girl.

On Thursday, Feb. 20, the mom of three, 29, shared a post on her Instagram as she celebrated her daughter Sterling Skye’s 4th birthday, which included a sweet photo of Sterling with her baby sister Golden Raye.

In the snap, Sterling can be seen wearing a pink long-sleeve T-shirt and holding her baby sister, who had a white cap on and a pink onesie. Sterling feeds her sister a bottle as another person out of frame reaches out to help support Golden.

Later on her Instagram Stories, Brittany shared a Reel of Sterling pushing Golden’s stroller, staring off into the distance as she rocked back and forth. “The best big sister 🥹,” she wrote across the video.

Shortly after welcoming her daughter, Brittany shared an adorable clip on her Instagram Stories, showing Golden’s little feet. The onesie that she was wearing had footballs printed on her legs and both feet — a sweet nod to her father, Patrick.

“The cutest little feet 🥹” wrote the former soccer player in text over the video.

Ahead of welcoming Golden, Brittany spoke with PEOPLE about her daughter’s nursery, saying that she was “feeling very ready” and “excited about becoming a family of 5.” Even her older kids were ready to be big siblings.

“They’re both excited to have a baby sister — even though Bronze is still a little too young to fully understand, he can’t wait,” Brittany said at the time. “Sterling is the best big sister already and has been loving going into the baby’s room to play with the new toys.”

The famous couple shared that while they were able to choose a name for their daughter “pretty quickly,” they struggled for a minute on the middle name — despite Sterling’s suggestions.

“Sterling has thrown out names,” Brittany revealed. “She wants us to name her Elsa, but we won’t be doing that.”

“I think he probably, in his heart, already knows what he wants to do,” said Jason Kelce on a preview clip of ‘The Steam Room’ podcast

As Travis Kelce’s deadline to decide if he wants to retire looms, his brother Jason Kelce thinks he’s already made up his mind.

“I think Travis, I think he probably, in his heart, already knows what he wants to do,” the Eagles alum, 37, said while speaking with NBA on TNT cohosts Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson of the Kansas City Chief tight end’s pending decision. The clip was a preview of an upcoming episode from the hosts’ podcast, The Steam Room, dropping Feb. 21. “That’s the reality of it.”

After Travis and his team lost the 2025 Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 9, fans and adversaries immediately questioned if he would retire after more than 10 years in the NFL. Earlier this month, The Athletic reported that the team needs Travis’ decision by March 14.

Travis’ contract with the Chiefs runs through the 2025 season and includes an $11.5 million roster bonus that is due to him on March 15 if he stays with the team, the outlet reported. The NFL’s free agency period begins March 10.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, 29, was asked during a post-Super Bowl press conference if he has spoken to Travis, 35, about whether he will retire from football or return to play another season in the NFL.

Speaking to reporters after the loss, Mahomes said he’s going to “let Travis make that decision on his own” after he deserves some well-deserved rest following a long season.

“He’s given so much to this team and to the NFL,” the quarterback added of Travis. “And he’s been such a joy, not only for me to work with, but for people to watch.”

Travis previously opened up about whether or not he’ll return to the NFL next season on the latest episode of New Heights, the podcast he host alongside Jason, which dropped on Feb. 12 — just three days after the team’s devastating loss.

“I know everybody wants to know whether or not I’m playing next year, and right now, I’m just kicking everything down the road. I’m not making any crazy decisions,” he said.

Travis also noted that the “biggest thing” for him and his teammates right now is “being there” for each other and “understanding.”

“I’m gonna take some time to figure it out. And, I think I owe it to my teammates that if I do come back, it’s a wholehearted decision. I’m not half-assing it, and I’m fully here for them,” he said.

On The Steam Room on Friday, Jason confirmed that his brother helped advise him before he decided to retire from the Eagles last year. He’s confident they’ll do the same as Travis makes his decision.

“I’m sure we will talk about it. We’ve already talked about it a little bit, and I’m sure he’s going to go through a process of figuring that out,” Jason told Barkley and Johnson. “We’re very similar people, but we also have different ways of thinking about things. And sometimes I can way over analyze situations, and my brother has this way of being like, ‘Hey man, you want to play or you don’t want to play.’ ”

Jason continued, “He’ll say something like that where it’s just like, don’t worry about all of these minor things. And nine times out of ten, he’s right about all of it.”

Patrick Mahomes on a ‘Revenge Tour’ After Super Bowl Loss – NFL Rivals Beware!

Patrick Mahomes on a ‘Revenge Tour’ After Super Bowl Loss – NFL Rivals Beware!

Charles Omenihu believes Mahomes will be ‘on a mission’ to get back to ‘Big Game’ again

The Kansas City Chiefs were unable to make NFL history earlier this month, as they fell to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, 40-22.

It was a game where quarterback Patrick Mahomes was uncharacteristically off, and a lot of that had to do with the Eagles constantly creating pressure in the pocket. Still, throwing multiple interceptions and missing some open players was very much unlike Mahomes – pressure in the pocket or not.

So, as Mahomes and the Chiefs head into the 2025 offseason, one teammate knows that a “revenge tour” is brewing for the two-time MVP signal caller.

    Patrick Mahomes reacts on field

Defensive end Charles Omenihu, who has a ring thanks to his performance in Super Bowl LVIII, made an appearance on “Up & Adams,” where he responded to host Kay Adams’ question about where Mahomes will be in the next 10 months.

“On a revenge tour,” Omenihu responded. “Just extreme focus, taking even more control of the organization. We’re going to get my boy Rashee [Rice] back, so that’s going to be great with how [Xavier Worthy] has been playing. Hopefully, we’ll be able to figure out the rest of the pieces.”

Rashee Rice, who suffered a season-ending injury early in the 2024 season, could be facing suspension due to eight felony charges he faces from a six-car crash in Dallas that he partly caused. The NFL is waiting for the legal process to play out.

However, Mahomes and the Chiefs have to love what they saw from rookie first-rounder Xavier Worthy, who got better by the week and made a major impact on the way to another Super Bowl appearance.

    Charles Omenihu answers questions

Kansas City will continue to build around Mahomes, but Omenihu knows his teammate is likely still kicking himself after what transpired at the Caesars Superdome.

“He probably felt like he didn’t have his best performance, and him being who he is and being the best quarterback in the league, he wants to come back and have one of those big seasons,” Omenihu said.

“So, I think it’ll be somebody that’s on a mission for sure.”

Mahomes finished the Super Bowl with 257 yards passing with three touchdowns and two interceptions, though most of those yards came in the fourth quarter during a comeback attempt that was too little, too late.

    Patrick Mahomes looks on field

For the 2024 regular season, Mahomes did not have his usual production, failing to reach 4,000 yards passing for the first time since becoming the full-time starter in Kansas City. Still, he passed for 3,928 yards and 26 touchdowns with 11 interceptions, and went 15-1 in those starts.

Joel Embiid Shocks Fans with Honest Admission: ‘I’m Not as Dominant’ – Is This the End of His Reign?

Joel Embiid said he’s hoping for the best as he continues to play through a left knee injury following the 76ers’ 124-104 loss to the Celtics on Thursday night.

The Sixers’ big man, who’s also dealing with a foot sprain, explained that he’s finding ways to impact the game while trying to get back to his “dominant self.”

“The way I was playing a year ago is not the way I’m playing right now,” Embiid, 30, said when asked about his knee after the loss at home. “And It sucks, but I believe … I probably need to fix the problem and then I’ll be back at that level. But it’s hard to have trust when you’re not yourself.

“I’m not as dominant as I was a couple of months ago, but that doesn’t mean I still can’t have a lot of impact on the game Just me being out there, I think, helps a lot. You know, just my presence, my ability to attract double-teams, getting guys more shots.

“But my dominant self, I’ll get there. It’s just tough because you know you can do so much more but no excuses, that’s just the way it is. I just gotta keep finding ways to figure it out and get better.”

Embiid, who had more than a week off during the NBA All-Star break, didn’t look like himself Thursday.

He finished with 15 points on 3-for-9 shooting from the field in 27 minutes. He added four assists and three rebounds.

“I’m OK,” Embiid said, per ESPN, adding that the break helped “a little bit” in his recovery. “Still managing it. Got to keep going and hope for the best.”

The Sixers have been decimated with injuries throughout the first half of the season.

All-Star forward Paul George, who struggled offensively before the break,i s dealing a left finger and groin injuries.

“I’m hanging in there,” said George, who recorded 17 points Thursday. “I’m just trying to give this team everything I have.

George also confirmed a report by ESPN’s Shams Charania that he received pain-killing injections to stay active in recent weeks.

“I’m taking some sorts of medicines to kind of, I guess, play through pain,” he said. “But yeah, I’m going to try to give everything I got.”

Forward Justin Edwards was added to the injury report with a left ankle sprain heading into Thursday’s game — joining Kyle Lowry (right hip injury management), Eric Gordon (right wrist sprain) and Jared McCain (left lateral meniscus surgery) on the sideline.

Earlier this week, All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey (knee contusion) said he was feeling “way better” after resting over the break.

“I got hit the first play of the Toronto game [a 106-103 Sixers loss on Feb. 11] and I couldn’t be as aggressive as I wanted to,” he said. “It was pretty painful for about 48 hours, but I’m good now.”

Philadelphia is in the 11th spot in the Eastern Conference and out of the playoff race entering Friday.

“Everybody’s out here and ready to compete tomorrow and throughout the rest of the season,” Maxey said. “Guys are optimistic. At the end of the day, it’s in our hands. If we want to move up in the standings, then we’ve got to go do that as a group collectively.

“It’s going to start with Joel, Paul and myself. And not just scoring, not just on the court, but also mentality-wise — holding ourselves accountable and holding guys accountable.”

The Sixers host the Nets, in the 12th spot with a 20-35 mark, at Wells Fargo Center on Saturday.

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy broke the news that the ex-MLB stars wouldn’t be going mano-a-mano at “Rough ‘N Rowdy” after Mahomes’ son, Patrick, and his wife, Brittany, got wind of things.

“No, this fight is canceled,” Portnoy said on the “Unnamed Show” on Friday. “Mahomes’ agent — the football player — and Brittany, from what I am told, intervened and said, ‘There’s no way this fight happens; we’re going to cut this guy off if he does it.”

The fight, originally slated for Barstool Sports’ “Rough ‘N Rowdy” boxing show on Apr. 19, gained notoriety when Mahomes Sr., 54, and Rocker, 50, got into a tiff in New Orleans during Super Bowl 2025 week.

In court, Mahomes Sr. told officials that the scuffle was an attempt to build momentum for the bout.

Other than getting the combatants to sign on for the fight, Portnoy denied having anything to do with it.

“They came to us to do this,” he said. “How would we ever come up with this concept, ‘Oh, let’s put up John Rocker versus Pat Mahomes Sr.’? Who would ever think of that? They came to us, said they hated each other wanted to fight.”

Portnoy was thrilled to have an opportunity to troll Mahomes Jr. after learning of the Chiefs quarterback’s disdain for his outlet.

“I know Patty Mahomes the Super Bowl guy, the guy who just got his doors blown off said he hated Barstool,” Portnoy said, annoucing the fight on Feb. 12. “Well, now your dad’s fighting in our company against John Rocker. SHOCKING: Elon Musk Under Fire After ‘Vulgar’ Comments About Taylor Swift – Fans Demand His Cancellation!

In a shocking announcement, Oprah Winfrey has confirmed that she is leaving the United States and relocating to an undisclosed destination, sparking a flurry of speculation about where the media mogul might be headed next

Oprah, who has been a staple of American media for decades, revealed in a statement that she has decided to step away from her long-time residence and business operations in the United States to explore new opportunities abroad. The decision has left fans, followers, and media experts scrambling for answers as to where the billionaire philanthropist might go next.

While Oprah has not provided specific details on her next destination, her close associates indicate that she is looking for a more peaceful, private life away from the intense scrutiny of the American spotlight. Her statement read, “After much thought, I feel it’s time for me to embark on a new chapter in my life, one that allows for more personal growth and reflection.”

Given Oprah’s high profile and influence, speculation about her next move has quickly gained momentum. Some sources point to Canada as a potential destination, citing the country’s more peaceful atmosphere and its reputation for offering privacy. Others have suggested that Oprah might be eyeing Europe, particularly Switzerland or the United Kingdom, where she has frequently visited in the past for business and personal retreats.

Taylor Swift gets warning from Elon Musk after Time recognition
There are also rumors that Oprah may choose to relocate to New Zealand or Australia, regions known for their natural beauty and slower pace of life. Australia’s thriving wellness scene could be a significant pull for someone like Oprah, who has long been an advocate for health and mindfulness.

Oprah’s departure from the US marks a significant shift in her life. The former talk-show host, media mogul, and philanthropist has often been associated with her empowering presence in the American media landscape. Her decision to leave the U.S. could be a response to growing pressures surrounding her public persona, with some speculating that she is seeking a quieter, more reflective life away from public scrutiny.

This move comes on the heels of Oprah’s recent shifts in her business ventures, which included scaling back on her traditional media appearances and moving more into digital and streaming content. Some believe this is part of her broader effort to focus on self-discovery and personal freedom.

No matter where Oprah chooses to go, there is no denying the impact she has had on American culture and global media. Her long-running talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, defined a generation, and her influence extends far beyond television, as a philanthropist, author, and entrepreneur.

As speculation grows about her future plans, fans of the media icon are wondering whether this relocation signals a shift away from her public career or simply the start of a new chapter. Whatever the case, Oprah’s next move will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the media world.

DA warns Chilean gang burglaries spreading across US, calls it Washington’s ‘biggest secret’

Migrants charged in high-profile thefts from NFL stars Joe Burrow, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes

Chilean gang burglaries spread across US, prompting new warnings

Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer is calling for Chile to be removed from a U.S. visa waiver program, arguing Chilean migrants have been exploiting the system to commit organized burglaries across the country.

Spitzer alleges federal agencies, including the FBI, Department of Justice, Homeland Security and the State Department, have long been aware of the issue but have failed to act.

“This is the biggest secret in Washington that no one seems to want to do anything about,” the California DA told “Fox & Friends,” Thursday.

    Suspects posing with stolen goods

His remarks follow the recent indictment of seven Chilean nationals accused of carrying out high-profile burglaries targeting professional athletes, including Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

Prosecutors say the suspects, who entered the U.S. under the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) program, stole over $2 million in valuables such as jewelry, watches, cash, and other luxury items.

Spitzer told “Fox & Friends” he briefed the FBI on the threat the gangs posed nearly two years ago alongside former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, with no result.

“Now that high-profile athletes and millions of dollars of their property is being stolen, now it seems to be getting a lot of attention,” Spitzer said.

A Department of Justice press release said the suspects were members of a South American theft group that systematically burglarized the homes of professional athletes while they were away for games.

Spitzer argues the arrests are grounds for removing Chile from the ESTA program, which allows travelers from participating countries to enter the U.S. without a visa for up to 90 days. Chile is currently the only South American country in the program.

“Every other South American country that has participated in the past has been kicked out of the program for sending their criminals to the United States of America,” Spitzer argued.

He claims that Chile is failing to comply with program requirements by refusing to provide criminal background checks on its citizens. In 2022, approximately 350,000 Chilean nationals entered the U.S. using ESTA.

In June 2024, two Chilean nationals in the program were arrested after crashing into another vehicle while fleeing law enforcement in Orange County. Authorities say the suspects had just burglarized a home, stealing a safe, designer handbags, and jewelry.

“These Chileans have been coming here for years,” he said. “They’re going to Orlando, Florida, where Disney World is. They’re coming to Orange County, California, where Disneyland is. And they’re not here to visit the happiest place on Earth—they’re here to burglarize.”

“A particular challenge was designing her hands in the typical heart pose. Coordinating so that the hands meet well at the front was not easy.

“The same goes for the painting of the head. After all, a wax figure shouldn’t look ‘waxy.’”

Khloé Kardashian returned to Cleveland to take her kids to their dad’s basketball game — but she had some mixed feelings about it.

On this week’s episode of The Kardashians, the Good American co-founder, 40, chats with Scott Disick as she looks back at her trip to Cleveland with her daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2, where they attended Tristan Thompson’s basketball game.

“I went to Cleveland the other day. Took my kids. I left the gates,” Kardashian says.

“I saw that! And the kids were like, ‘Cleveland!’ I was like, ‘Hm hm, you don’t know what Cleveland’s like,’ ” Disick responds.

“True had the time of her life. It was her first basketball game ever,” Kardashian responds.

Disick says it must’ve been nice for Thompson to have two of his kids there, to which Kardashian agrees.

“It was so nice! But also, you know, I don’t know if Tristan is going to be signed next year and I was like, ‘Let me go.’ You just never know. So I took them and I took CeCe,” Kardashian says, referencing her cousin. “It was on her bucket list to go to a playoff game.”

In a confessional, Kardashian shares more about the trip, saying it was a “great experience” for her kids to see their dad while he’s still playing professionally.

“It was such a great experience for my kids. True is 6. She’s old enough, she gets it,” the mom of two says. “She’s so proud and she was so excited to see her dad play and just be in that atmosphere.”

Back in the scene, Disick says it must’ve been “wild” for True and Tatum to see an entire stadium cheering for their dad.

“They were so happy,” Kardashian responds.

The scene switches back to a confessional and the proud mom opens up about some of the anxiety that she felt while attending her ex’s game.

“I did have a lot of anxiety about going. More for like the public’s reaction, which is so lame to say. Because I knew I was going to get filmed,” Kardashian explains. “My family, my circle, they know that Tristan and I, we’re not together. But it’s sad that I had a lot of anxiety because of outside noise.”

“I just didn’t want to hear it anymore. Like, ‘Oh, she’s going to support her man!’ Or whatever people were going to say. It’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, enough of this,’” she goes on. “But, I also was like, ‘F—- this, I’m doing this for my kids, I’m doing this for my cousin.’ And I’m so happy we all did. We all had the best time.”
