“Michael Stipe Joins Jon Bon Jovi & The War & Treaty for a Show-Stopping Performance at Harris-Walz Rally in Atlanta!”

Watch Michael Stipe Perform With Jon Bon Jovi And The War & Treaty At Harris-Walz Rally In Atlanta

Politics is about coalition-building, which is how you end up with musical artists from different contexts like Michael Stipe, Jon Bon Jovi, and the War & Treaty performing a song together onstage. At a rally for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz Sunday in the Atlanta suburb of Smyrna, attended by Walz and second gentleman Doug Emhoff, Stipe performed a number of R.E.M. songs and told a story about meeting Harris and Emhoff at a restaurant in New York six years ago.

Backed by David Barbe and Andy Lemaster, Stipe started his three-song set by performing “No Time For Love Like Now,” his collaboration with the Justin Vernon/Aaron Dessner project Big Red Machine. He then sang “Driver 8,” noting that he heard it was Walz’s favorite R.E.M. song. He finished up with “The One I Love,” joined by Bon Jovi and the War And Treaty, both of whom also gave performances at the show. I would love to go back in time and tell some ’80s college radio DJ about the campaign rally where Michael Stipe performed with Jon Bon Jovi.

During his appearance, Stipe trolled Donald Trump for his use of “YMCA” at campaign events by mockingly singing, “You gotta get out the V-O-T-E.” He also told a story, which first appeared on his Instagram last week, about seeing Harris and Emhoff at a neighboring table and recognizing how in love they were.

Check it all out in the videos below.

Justin Timberlake Proves He’s Still Got It with Electrifying Performance at Detroit’s Forget Tomorrow Tour!

The 44-year-old singer displayed every ounce of his showmanship to a nearly sold-out crowd at Little Caesars Arena

Image: Justin Timberlake gave a high-energy performance at Little Caesars Arena.

Justin Timberlake has sold 120 million albums and won ten Grammy Awards, so it’s safe to say he doesn’t have anything left to prove to anyone. His place in music has been cemented many times over but the question is at the age of 44, is Timberlake still capable of delivering a prime “Prince of Pop” performance, or is he transitioning into an elder statesman role?

The short answer is — the prince lives on.

Enter Thursday night’s Forget Tomorrow World Tour at Little Caesars Arena, where Timberlake displayed every ounce of his showmanship and charisma to a nearly sold-out crowd. The show was originally scheduled for October 25, but was postponed due to Timberlake battling bronchitis and laryngitis. The tour has already been a massive success for Timberlake, earning more than $140 million in nearly 100 stops with three dates left in the U.S. before it hits a dozen more countries. But Thursday night, Timberlake performed with enough energy to make you think it was the first stop.

As his song “Memphis” played on large LCD screens in the background, the Tennessee native rose from an opening on the floor of the stage where he joined an ensemble of five dancers, three back-up singers, and an eight-piece band known as the Tennessee Kids. Timberlake jumped right into his song “No Angels” and then “LoveStoned,” where he changed a verse to, “And she looks like a model/ Except she got that Detroit ass.”

The set list was mostly the singer’s greatest hits along with songs from Timberlake’s 2024 album, Everything I Thought It Was. The show lacked the usual laser lights, smoke, and pyrotechnics that we’re used to seeing from pop star tours of this magnitude. There also weren’t any surprise feature appearances or a performance-based opening act. None was needed because the biggest treat was the added showmanship by the Tennessee Kids. Everyone in the band had mini solo spots within different songs and they all joined Timberlake at the front of the stage to dance (holding their instruments and all) throughout the night.

The crooner performed an abbreviated version of “My Love,” gave “Technicolor” a slow and melodic intro, and showed he still had command over his falsetto on songs “Pusher Love Girl,” “My Favorite Drug,” and “Cry Me a River.” He was very interactive with the audience as he took time to acknowledge a fan who held up a sign saying she beat breast cancer, took a selfie with another, and touched the stretched hands of others as he walked through the crowd singing “Play.”

Timberlake closed out his set with his four biggest high-energy songs, “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”, “Rock Your Body,” and the Timbaland-produced “SexyBack” and “Mirrors.” Overall the night ran with the precision of a Ford assembly line without feeling too mechanical. Timberlake danced methodically through almost every song and never took a break, covering 30 songs in 120 minutes. Despite the online murmurs, Timberlake never said Forget Tomorrow was a proverbial “victory lap” and he performed like he has another 100 tours in the tank.

Justin Timberlake Stuns Fans at The X—But Not Everyone Got a Clear View!

Now in the 23rd year of his solo career, Justin Timberlake has released just five albums (or six if you count part two of “The 20/20 Experience”) and headlined local arenas just six times (two nights in a row, last time he was here in 2018).

Photo by Allisen Chloe on February 24, 2025. Có thể là hình ảnh về 4 người, thiết bị chiếu sáng và văn bản.

But when the 44-year-old does deign to hit the road, he pulls out all the stops as he did Monday night at St. Paul’s Xcel Energy Center. Backed by his sprawling band the Tennessee Kids and a phalanx of dancers, Timberlake performed on a massive, tricked-out stage, a portion of which detached and floated above the players below. A second, satellite stage sat at the other end of the arena floor, where Timberlake played eight numbers for thrilled fans that crowded around the perimeter.

Timberlake has always fancied himself as an all-encompassing song and dance man a la Michael Jackson and Prince. As such, he peppered the show with intricate choreography sequences that allowed him to hoof it up with his dancers and, at times, his horn section. Toss in state-of-the-art lighting and video and it was clear Timberlake’s team spared no expense in staging Monday night’s spectacle, which was originally scheduled for Halloween, but was one of a half dozen shows postponed due to bronchitis and laryngitis. (He apologized to the audience for the delay not once, but twice.)

The problem, however, is that for whatever reason, JT often makes it tough to actually see what he’s doing up there, particularly for those in the cheap seats. The whole point of large screens is to help bring a sense of intimacy to big old hockey arenas. But Timberlake prefers to perform in murky lighting, with the live footage shown in a distorted manner and/or projected over other images.

A perfect example Monday night was his first big hit, 2002’s “Cry Me a River.” It featured some of the most rousing dancing of the evening along with an infectious plea for audience participation. Yet only dramatic shots of water falling filled the screens behind him, with nary a shot of the main attraction to be seen.

Photo by Allisen Chloe on February 24, 2025. Có thể là hình ảnh về 2 người và văn bản.

Timberlake’s tours have always suffered from this puzzling artistic decision that steals some of the thunder from the rest of the show. Another longtime bug for JT’s live show is the bass-heavy sound mix that can bury him in the mix.

Even worse for Timberlake is that, for the first time in his career, he’s no longer bulletproof. His latest album, “Everything I Thought It Was,” flopped so hard, it barely registered to anyone beyond his hardcore fan base. Given that his early career coincided with the CD era at its peak, all of his records are too long and heavy on filler and dead ends. But even stinkers like 2018’s “Man of the Woods” managed to squeak out a memorable song or two. Not this time.

And yet, Timberlake played nearly all of “Everything I Thought It Was,” with most of the new songs receiving a muted reception from the crowd which, in another first for JT, was not sold out. (There were banks of empty seats in the club and 200 levels.)

Numbers like “Technicolor,” “Sanctified” and (eek) “Infinity Sex” felt as they were constructed on mere vibes without much actual substance. The only newbie that landed was “My Favorite Drug,” a Daft Punk-style disco stomper that, predictably, overstayed its welcome.

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Timberlake’s June 2024 DWI arrest. His mugshot and unintentional catchphrase “this is going to ruin the tour” earned the former boy bander more attention over the past year than anything else he’s done. (I would also be remiss if I didn’t add that the cop didn’t know who JT is and asked, “What tour?” Timberlake’s response: “The world tour.”)

REVEALED: Jaylen Brown is the reason Mavericks traded Luka Doncic to LA Lakers...see more - SoccerHuz

Many theories have been offered up around the Dallas Mavericks’ franchise-altering decision.

The NBA is still feeling the after-effects of the Luka Doncic to Los Angeles Lakers trade, with the Dallas Mavericks moving on from their franchise star.

The past few weeks have been uncomfortable for the Mavericks, with the decision picked apart by fans and media alike.

Mavericks GM Nico Harrison initiated the trade, which also saw the team acquire Anthony Davis and Max Christie.

Those two players benefit the team defensively, but giving up a generational talent who is only 25 has caused controversy.

Nico Harrison has made clear he wants the Dallas Mavericks to win the championship above all else, and this move was an aggressive call to try and improve on last year.

The Mavericks made the finals last year, with Doncic inspiring their won. However, against the Boston Celtics they fell short, losing the series 4-1.

Veteran NBA reporter Marc Spears believes Doncic’s performances against Boston were the beginning of the end.

Speaking on Cedric Maxwell’s podcast, Spears praised the way Finals MVP Jaylen Brown guarded Doncic during the finals.

Spears said: “People talk about what he did offensively [but] that dude, he is the reason why Luka got traded.

“He shut him down in the finals, what he did to Luka in the finals, shutting him down, guarding him full court, making it unbearable offensively.

“[This] led Dallas to start questioning Luka as the leader of this team, questioning whether he was in shape or not.”

Doncic’s performances in the finals were also heavily criticized at the time by Brian Windhorst, and he noted how nobody in the Dallas organization came to the Slovenian’s defense.

Jaylen Brown, separately, has been praised by former teammate Jeff Teague as one of his favorite players to watch.

Marc Spears also spoke of his closeness to Mavs GM Nico Harrison, and offered his opinion that the full story behind the decision to trade Doncic is yet to come out.

While the Mavericks have been criticized for throwing shade at Doncic, Spears believes the team may even be protecting the player.

He explained: “I know Nico real well. He doesn’t just do stuff.

“I think there’s more to that story, that I think they are trying to be respectful and not go into the weeds.

“But now we’ll see how things go with Luka in LA, things will be much more magnified.”

After a slow start, Doncic put up his best performance yet for the Lakers in their win over the Nuggets. Next up is the first showdown between the Lakers and Mavericks since the trade.

‘The View’ praises Jane Fonda for defending ‘woke’ at SAG awards, argues its ‘ungodly’ to oppose it

‘Empathy is not weak or woke,’ Fonda said, ‘woke just means you give a damn about other people’

'The View' co-hosts laud Jane Fonda defending wokeness during speech at SAG awards

“The View” co-hosts heaped praise on liberal activist and actress Jane Fonda on Monday after she delivered a politically charged speech at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, defending being “woke” and speaking out about empathy.

“It also gave me inspiration because, you know, there’s a lot of people that are older that have marched, that have protested in the past that are now saying, you know, we’re tired. It’s time that the young people do it, and Jane Fonda just reminded us that you are never too old, that you are never too successful,” co-host Ana Navarro said.

Navarro continued, praising Fonda for standing up for her beliefs, while sometimes disagreeing with the actress.

“This is a woman who has been protesting and standing up for her beliefs. Sometimes I’ve disagreed with her, and it has cost her at times. It has had great costs at her career, and you do not give up on America. You don’t turn your back on America. When America needs us to stand up, speak up, and show up, we have to continue doing it,” Navarro shared.

Fonda defended being “woke” during a speech at the SAG Awards and said, “Make no mistake, empathy is not weak or woke. By the way, woke just means you give a damn about other people.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin argued that the word “woke” had been co-opted by the right, and said in the African-American community, the term meant “acknowledging social justice inequities, acknowledging people’s suffering.”

    Navarro, Hostin

“I was always a part of it, and so I’ve never been asleep, and so it angers me when people are, like, this woke stuff’s got to go. That tells me that you don’t care about my lived experience. You don’t care about the oppression of the LGBTQ community. You don’t care about the oppression of the disabled. You don’t care about the oppression of immigrants. You don’t care about your fellow neighbor, and that is ungodly. That is not Christian,” Hostin said.

Navarro agreed and added, “they don’t care about it while wearing big, fat crosses around their necks.”

Whoopi Goldberg, who said last month that “wokeness” got White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt her job, argued that “all things” that make people feel uncomfortable would have been called “woke.”

“There have not been changes made in this country that were made without people being woke. We had to wake up and see that there’s nothing wrong with who you want to love as long as you keep me in mind when I say this is who I love. All of these things were challenged by people who said, oh, maybe they didn’t say you’re too woke, but they used whatever the hip word of the time was. This has always been, it will always be. This is what change does, and it makes people uncomfortable. It scares people. It makes people think that they are losing their place. You’re not losing your place,” Goldberg said.

    Jane Fonda at SAG Awards

Hostin agreed with Goldberg and added, “equality can feel like oppression to those that have always been at the top of the ladder.”

Fonda delivered her politically-charged speech after accepting the Life Achievement Award at the SAG awards.

“Back to empathy, a whole lot of people are going to be really hurt by what is happening, what is coming our way. And even if they’re of a different political persuasion we need to call upon our empathy and not judge but listen from our hearts and welcome them into our tent, because we are going to need a big tent to resist successfully what’s coming at us,” Fonda said.

Serena Williams Steals the Show Dancing with Daughter at Tiger Woods’ TGL—Days After Super Bowl Drama!

Serena Williams seen dancing again with daughter at Tiger Woods’ star-studded TGL after Super Bowl uproar

Weeks after causing uproar with her crip walk at the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, Serena Williams once again tried dancing in public on Monday night, only to have daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian appear to shut her down at a star-studded TGL event.

The 43-year-old mother of two may have slightly embarrassed her eldest, known as Olympia, when ESPN cameras scoured the audience at the golf-simulator competition at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Seated in the front row alongside Philadelphia Eagles teammates Avonte Maddox and Dallas Goedert, Williams raised her arms and moved them along with the music over the apparent objections of Olympia.

The seven-year-old attempted to contain her mother’s enthusiasm by pulling her arms back down, although Serena continued to smile and laugh throughout.

Later Serena posted a photo of herself seated with Olympia, who is seen flashing a ‘peace’ sign for the camera, and a video of them signing Jay-Z’s Empire State of Mind together.

The adorable scene came just weeks after the tennis legend ignited controversy at the Super Bowl when she crip walked during fellow Compton native Kendrick Lamar’s halftime performance. The fancy footwork is linked with the early days notorious Compton gang, the Crips.

The adorable scene came just weeks after the tennis legend ignited controversy at the Super Bowl when she crip walked during fellow Compton native Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show

Williams took further criticism because Lamar’s song, Not Like Us, is a diss track aimed at her rumored ex-boyfriend, Drake.

Monday’s girls’ night out wasn’t nearly so controversial, as Serena and Olympia appeared to be enjoying themselves at the virtual golf league event. Interestingly, Williams is an investor in the LA-based TGL team along with husband, Alexis Ohanian, and her sister, Venus.

But Williams and her daughter’s presence at the match may have more to do with the latter’s budding interest in the game.

The left-handed swinging Olympia is already hitting the links, as seen in a string of videos posted on social media.

The indoor golf league was launched with the help of PGA Legends Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, who have attracted a number of other celebrities in addition to Williams.

On Monday, for instance, former Cleveland Indians pitcher CC Sabathia, ex-New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred and Mets owner Steve Cohen were all watching from the crowd, as was PGA star Xander Schauffle.

Jon Bon Jovi’s JBJ Soul Kitchen: The Rock Star’s Mission to End Hunger One Meal at a Time

Jon Bon Jovi’s JBJ Soul Kitchen: The Rock Star’s Mission to End Hunger One Meal at a Time

Jon Bon Jovi is more than just a legendary rock star—he’s a philanthropist with a heart as big as his hits. While millions know him for anthems like Livin’ on a Prayer and It’s My Life, many don’t realize he’s been quietly working to combat hunger in America through his unique charity restaurant, JBJ Soul Kitchen.

    A Restaurant With a Mission

Located in Red Bank and Toms River, New Jersey, JBJ Soul Kitchen isn’t your typical high-end celebrity eatery. It operates on a “pay what you can” model, meaning that guests who can afford to pay are encouraged to make a donation, while those struggling financially can enjoy a meal free of charge. There are no prices on the menu—only the option to give, receive, or volunteer in exchange for a warm, nutritious meal.

“Food is not just a necessity; it’s a right,” Bon Jovi has said. “At Soul Kitchen, we want to provide dignity for people in need. We don’t judge; we just serve.”

    How It Works

The restaurant serves delicious, three-course meals made with locally sourced ingredients. Diners can expect hearty and healthy dishes, often featuring fresh vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. But the experience goes beyond food—Soul Kitchen fosters a sense of community.

For those who can’t afford a meal, there’s an option to “pay” by volunteering at the restaurant—washing dishes, prepping ingredients, or helping to serve meals. This creates a cycle of generosity and ensures that no one walks away hungry or feeling ashamed.

More Than Just a Soup Kitchen

What makes JBJ Soul Kitchen stand out is its welcoming, restaurant-style atmosphere. Unlike traditional soup kitchens, guests are treated with the same dignity and service as any paying customer in a fine dining establishment. The goal is to break down stigmas associated with food insecurity and remind people that everyone deserves a seat at the table.

Bon Jovi’s wife, Dorothea Hurley, who co-founded the initiative, says: “We wanted to build a place where people wouldn’t feel embarrassed to come in. It’s about dignity, respect, and lifting people up.”

    Expanding the Mission

Bon Jovi’s philanthropic efforts don’t stop at Soul Kitchen. Through his Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, he has worked to address issues like homelessness, affordable housing, and job training. The foundation has built hundreds of homes for families in need and continues to develop initiatives that empower people to get back on their feet.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bon Jovi took an even more hands-on role, rolling up his sleeves and washing dishes himself when the restaurant saw a surge in demand. “If you can’t do what you do, do what you can,” he wrote in an Instagram post, later turning that phrase into a song.

    A Growing Movement

Since its launch, JBJ Soul Kitchen has served over 100,000 meals, with nearly 50% of those being paid for by donations. The model has inspired other communities to explore similar concepts, showing that sustainable charity initiatives can truly make a difference.

Many visitors leave not just with full stomachs, but with a renewed sense of hope. Some who once relied on the free meals have come back to pay it forward, donating or volunteering once they got back on their feet.

    How You Can Help

If you’re inspired by Bon Jovi’s vision, there are many ways to support JBJ Soul Kitchen:

Visit and dine in if you’re ever in New Jersey—your meal helps pay for someone else’s.
Donate online to help fund meals for those in need.
Volunteer your time if you’re local.

At a time when food insecurity continues to be a pressing issue, initiatives like JBJ Soul Kitchen prove that a little kindness—and a lot of rock and roll spirit—can go a long way.

“You can’t do everything, but everyone can do something.” – Jon Bon Jovi

Trump rescinded White House invite after the Eagles won the ‘Big Game’ in 2018

Fox News Flash top sports headlines for February 24

INDIANAPOLIS – It’s a different time in America and the idea that the Philadelphia Eagles would skip another trip to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl victory with President Donald Trump isn’t the reality we’re in anymore.

Eagles look forward to White House visit

The Eagles, winners of their second Super Bowl in seven years after beating the Kansas City Chiefs earlier this month, would love to visit Trump this time around.

“We would be honored to visit the White House,” a club source told OutKick. “It’s one of the things we had looked forward to doing, and we look forward to receiving the invitation.”

That’s the thing: The White House has yet to extend the invite.

Seems streamlining a bloated government, saving billions, trying to broker peace in the Middle East and Ukraine and rooting for the USA hockey team takes up a lot of time. But the invite will surely come, and this time it will be accepted.

There were rumors and a false report from earlier this month that the Eagles had voted against making the trip.

OutKick founder Clay Travis put out that fire Monday morning.

That report seemed plausible because the Eagles and Trump had failed to come to terms on a visit after they beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl in 2018. Amid the kneeling controversy, several players voted not to attend.

The plan then had been to send a smaller contingent of players for the ceremony, but the visit was eventually canceled.

Then the White House rescinded the invitation.

In a statement from the White House at the time, the situation had been described as the Eagles players disagreeing “with their President because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country.”

    So that trip never happened.

But this is a new day in America, folks.

Well, feels that way for some folks. Black, Hispanic and other minorities voted for Trump in record numbers in the last election.

There is no kneeling for the anthem controversy going on right now.

And there is hope an economy that hurt a lot of people the past four years under Joe Biden – including a lot of people blue cities such as Philadelphia – can be fixed.

    Eagles touch Lombardi Trophy

Panthers first to visit Trump 47

The Florida Panthers became the first pro team to visit the White House since Trump began his second term to celebrate their 2024 Stanley Cup victory.

And Tiger Woods, a 2020 Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient, has recently spent time with Trump as well.

Trump, we believe, is a big-time sports fan. He attended the Super Bowl game the Eagles won. And he could be the most sports-minded president in memory.

So, now that the Eagles have signaled they’ll attend, you better believe Trump will issue the invite.

Jeffrey Lurie holds up Lombardi Trophy

It should be something to see ardent Democrat party supporter Jeffrey Lurie, the Eagles owner, gift Trump with an Eagles jersey.

    Cats and dogs getting along.

Jayson Tatum admits he’s chasing Larry Bird to become the greatest Celtic ever: “I always wanted to be the best”

JT crowns “Larry Legend” as Celtics GOAT, hoping to mirror his success.

One of the most storied franchises in all of American sports, the Boston Celtics hold the tag for the most number of NBA championships (18). Having had greats like Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Bob Cousy, and Kevin McHale represent them, the Cs have so many legends in the history of their franchise that some other teams will never catch up to that number of Hall-of-Fame players. Bird is often looked at as the greatest Celtic ever, even though it’s tough to single out one player among so many legends.

Ending their 16-year drought last season, the Celtics won their 18th title. Looking to repeat, the team boasts one of the greatest current duos in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. The homegrown talents were drafted a year apart, with both of them going at number three pick.

Aware of the pressures of playing in TD Garden, Tatum recently addressed his aspiration to catch Larry Legend for the title of Celtic great. The Duke product revealed how winning a championship served as fuel to him.

“Once you win a championship, it’s like, alright, you can be in those rooms with the Celtics legends. But it doesn’t just stop at one. You’ve obviously got to win multiple, and that’s what we’re trying to do,” JT continued, talking about his admiration for Bird.

“And I always wanted to be the best. And he’s, in my opinion, the best Celtic ever, and he did it the right way, and he’s a great guy to chase in a sense,” Tatum concluded.

    “Larry Legend”- A Celtics great

Bird was the sixth pick in the 1979 draft, and he played his entire 13-season career for the Cs. The 6’9″ forward was a rage in Boston, given his contributions to the franchise. “Larry Legend’s” entry in Boston turned Cs into strong contenders in the East from the very go.

However, it wasn’t until 1981 that the Celtics drafted Kevin McHale and acquired Robert Parish to form a Big 3. Defeating the Rockets in the Finals the same year, Bird won his first-ever title, with Cedric Maxwell clinching the Finals MVP.

Forming one of the greatest rivalries against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Magic Johnson-Bird rivalry gained cult status. The following years had the Celtics forward make his way among the all-time greats, 3-peating as league MVP and winning two more titles.

Unfortunately, a persistent back problem would rob Bird of some of his prime years. Despite all the health setbacks, the Hall of Famer’s resume was nothing short of impeccable.

“They feel like it’s a waste of time” – Dominique Wilkins explains why big names in the NBA are no longer willing to compete in the dunk contes

As the franchise’s current superstar, Tatum is often subjected to harsh criticism and social media trolling. Some of the possible reasons behind this are the hype and sky-high expectations from the six-time All-Star. At the same time, one cannot overlook some of his playoff inconsistencies. After all, when Boston won the championship last season, Brown was the Finals MVP, not Tatum.

In his eighth year, the common belief was that JT would win league MVP by now, but this hasn’t been the case. Nevertheless, JT hasn’t been anything short of impressive this season, leading the Celtics to the 40-16 record in the East with averages of 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game.

As far as chasing Bird goes, Tatum has a long way to go before Boston fans even begin to view him through the same lens as “Larry Legend.” However, if the Celtics can keep winning titles, the conversation might be changing soon.
