Rock performed a slew of hits at Trump’s victory rally on January 19 at Capital One Arena, and Boebert, 38, was said to have enjoyed his performance.

“Lauren was totally transfixed by the rock star, yapping away, doing a little dance, and clapping like she was front row at his concert — basically giving Kid Rock all the hype he needed,” TMZ reported.

Remarkably, Tatum’s 46 points plus Brown’s 37 weren’t enough to lead Boston to a win. The Cavaliers overcame a 22-point first-quarter deficit while riding a 41-point performance from Donovan Mitchell and came out on top, 123-116 at TD Garden, spoiling the Jays’ historic night.

Tatum made personal history and league history in several ways amid a near-50-point triple-double.

He started on a tear, logging 18 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in the first quarter, becoming just the third player in the play-by-play era (dating back to 1996) to reach those stats in an opening frame along with Luka Doncic and Kevin Love. His 18 points also tied a career-high for first-quarter scoring.

On his 12^th point of the night, Tatum passed Wilt Chamberlain into sixth place on the NBA’s scoring list among players before reaching their 27^th birthday.

Tatum, who will celebrate his 27^th birthday on Monday, also made his 1,500^th career 3-pointer during the first half, making him the only player in NBA history to make that many threes before turning 27. In fact, only two players have made at least 1,500 threes before turning 28: Stephen Curry (1,509) and Klay Thompson (1,500).

Tatum finished the first half with 30 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, making him the first NBA player in the play-by-play era to reach those numbers in any half of a game.

By the end of the third quarter, Tatum was just two assists shy of a 40-point triple-double; he had 40 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, and two blocks entering the final frame. He would finish with 46 points, 16 rebounds, nine assists, and three blocks, making him the second player in NBA history (and the first in nearly 50 years) to reach those stats in regulation, joining Alvin Adams (Feb. 2, 1977).

But don’t let all of that history overshadow what his wing-mate accomplished by his side.

Brown had one of his best games of the season, finishing with 37 points on 13-of-24 shooting from the field, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range. He also had four offensive rebounds and handed out a pair of assists.

“Tremendous game by both of those guys,” said Al Horford. “This is essentially three (games) in four nights for us and JT, just so impressed with his energy, with his poise and everything that he did. And JB as well, answering the call, making tough plays, hitting tough shots. Defensively, can’t ask for more from those guys. Those guys were really putting it out there … Obviously we have to look at film and see how we can get better, but I mean, those guys were phenomenal. When they’re going like that, we just have to kind of rally behind them. And they almost took us home tonight with the win.”

They almost always take the Celtics home in games like this. Entering the night, Boston had won 26 out of the 28 games in which the Jays scored at least 30 points apiece. But it hurt being without Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis, as the rest of the group combined only mustered 33 points.

Despite the loss, we can’t ignore the greatness Brown and Tatum showed us on Friday night. And the fact that they did lose will drive them even more going into Sunday’s matchup against the Denver Nuggets.

“There are things that we both probably could have done to put the team in a better position,” Tatum said. “But you learn from it and get ready for Sunday. It should be another fun one.”

The Cleveland Cavaliers have won a league-high 49 games so far this season, and none of them have said more about how serious we ought to be taking this team that the one they pulled off against the Celtics on Friday.

Boston led this game 25-3 before the first four minutes had even ticked off. Even in a league where big, even huge, comebacks are relatively normal, that kind of immediate ambush should’ve buried the Cavs. Instead, thanks to 61 combined points from Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland and a clutch fourth quarter from Evan Mobley, Cleveland rallied for a 123-116 victory — their ninth straight — which should all but lock up the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

With 23 games to play, Cleveland now holds an eight-game lead over Boston with the tiebreaker currently in hand, making the lead an effective nine games. Boston is not mathematically out of the race for No. 1, but it ain’t happening. Cleveland is going to be the East’s top seed, and this is the kind of win that could prove psychologically huge if these teams indeed meet up in the conference finals.

After all, even as Cleveland has run through this regular season, Boston is still the favorite to win it all at +200, followed closely by the Thunder at +210. The Cavs are third at +650, which means the masses are not betting, literally and figuratively, on them as a top-line contender.

Perhaps the Celtics aren’t taking the Cavs that seriously, either. After Jayson Tatum buried a corner 3 to stretch Boston’s lead to the aforementioned 25-3, he had a little message for the Cavs.

I’m no expert lip reader, but that’s a pretty clear “get the *bleep* out of here” from Tatum, and one would be safe to deduce that his message ran deeper than this particular game. He was telling the Cavs that the fun is over, that they’ve had their little regular-season run but now that the serious stuff is starting, they do not belong — not in Boston’s arena, not in Boston’s class, and certainly not in the top-tier title conversation.

Tatum had a tremendous game, becoming the first player in the NBA’s play-by-play era to record 30 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in the first half. He finished with 46 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists, but his celebration was clearly premature.

Cleveland outscored Boston by 29 points from that moment forward.

Sure, Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis didn’t play. Holiday’s absence left Sam Hauser to get repeatedly targeted by Cleveland scorers. But Tatum, Derrick White and Jaylen Brown scored 99 combined points. A 22-point lead with your two best players going for 46 (Tatum) and 37 (Brown), at home, while shooting 43% from 3 as a team, is a winning formula 99% of the time.

Cleveland simply didn’t die, and that, more than anything else to come out of this game, is the takeaway. The Cavs don’t give a damn about what Vegas or Tatum or anyone else thinks. They know they’re for real, and if the Celtics didn’t before Friday night, they do now.

According to the text message, Kelce said he’s “coming back for sure” next season with the Chiefs. “Gonna try and get to the best shape I’ve been this offseason and get back to the mountaintop,” Kelce continued, per McAfee.

The Chiefs star reportedly added, “Got a real bad taste in my mouth with how I played in that last game and how I got the guys ready for battle. I can’t go out like that!!!!”

Earlier this month, The Athletic reported that the team needs his decision by March 14. The tight end’s contract with the Chiefs runs through the 2025 season and includes an $11.5 million roster bonus that is due to him on March 15 if he stays with the team, the outlet noted.

Mahomes said he’s going to “let Travis make that decision on his own” after he deserves some well-deserved rest following a long season. “He’s given so much to this team and to the NFL,” Mahomes said of the superstar tight end. “And he’s been such a joy, not only for me to work with, but for people to watch.”

Jason Kelce, who retired in March 2024, spoke about his brother’s difficult decision during a Feb. 21 episode of The Steam Room, saying, “I think Travis, I think he probably, in his heart, already knows what he wants to do. That’s the reality of it.”
