Prince William will return to royal duties tomorrow without the support of his wife, Princess Kate.

Princess Kate will not be joining Prince William, 42, on his first royal engagement at the Saatchi Gallery tomorrow following a short summer break with the rest of the Royal Family at Balmoral.

Princess Kate was last seen in public on her way to Crathie Kirk on the Balmoral estate almost two weeks ago.

The Princess of Wales looked in good spirits as she was driven to church by her husband sporting a tawny trench coat topped off with a hat and feathers.

The outing marked only the third time this year that the Princess of Wales, 42, made a public appearance, as she continues to focus on her recovery from cancer.
The first appearance was in June when Kate joined the Royal Family on the Buckingham Palace balcony for Trooping the Colour. That appearance was followed by the Princess of Wales taking her daughter Princess Charlotte, 9, and sister, Pippa Matthews, 40, to the Men’s singles final at Wimbledon in July.

Both the Princess of Wales and King Charles have been undergoing treatment for undisclosed types of cancer since the beginning of the year. Although the princess has been keeping a rather low profile while she recovers, King Charles has been conducting.a number of public engagements, including a visit to families affected by the Southport stabbings.

The Prince of Wales will be returning to public duties tomorrow, September 5. William will visit London’s Saatchi Gallery to view the Homelessness: Reframed exhibition

The exhibition, which is split into three main sections – Invisible Words, Reframed and Open Doors – “brings to life the breadth and complexities of homelessness and aims to help the public to engage with, and better understand, the stories of those who have experienced the issue.
During the royal engagement, Prince William will meet with artists who contributed pieces to the exhibition, as well as with individuals whose lived experiences inspired some of the artwork. Homelessness: Reframed was created in collaboration with Homewards, the Saatchi Gallery and the Eleven Eleven Foundation.

Prince William is an advocate for the homeless and those at risk of homelessness. In 2023, William and the Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales launched Homewards, a programme that aims to demonstrate that it’s possible to end homelessness.

“Through Homewards, I want to make this a reality and over the next five years, give people across the UK hope that homelessness can be prevented when we collaborate,” William said when it was announced. “I am fortunate to have seen first-hand the tireless work of people and organisations across the sector, the tangible impact their efforts can have and what can be done when communities are able to focus on preventing homelessness, rather than managing it.”

He added: “It’s a big task, but I firmly believe that by working together it is possible to make homelessness rare, brief, and unrepeated and I am very much looking forward to working with our six locations to make our ambition a reality.”

The rock legend, 62, opened up about his son Jake Bongiovi‘s recent wedding to Millie Bobby Brown, revealing happy details about the newlyweds.

“They’re great, they’re absolutely fantastic, it was a very small family wedding and the bride looked gorgeous and Jake is happy as can be,” Jon said on BBC’s The One Show on Tuesday, May 28.

News of the wedding was confirmed on Friday, May 24, after People reported that the pair had exchanged vows less than a week prior.

Jon’s commentary on the wedding isn’t the first time he’s shared his feelings about Brown. In an April interview with The Times of London, Jon expressed how excited he was for the Stranger Things star to be joining the family.

“I’ve gotten to know her in the last year, she works really hard, and she and Jake will grow together in their own way,” he said. “It is an accelerated version of what I went through 40 years ago and I think, with the support of family around them, they’re gonna be great together.”
