Five years ago today, a touching moment unfolded in the world of basketball, capturing the essence of the bond between a father and his daughter. Kobe Bryant, the legendary Los Angeles Lakers player, took his daughter Gianna, affectionately known as Gigi, to a game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Lakers.

It was a special evening for Gigi, who was an avid fan of Trae Young, the young star of the Hawks. That night, Young put on a performance that would forever be remembered. He scored an incredible 47 points, dazzling the crowd and leaving a lasting impression on everyone, especially Gigi, who watched in awe from the sidelines.

The game itself was filled with excitement and energy, but it was the connection between Kobe and Gigi that stood out the most. For Kobe, being able to share his love for basketball with Gigi was an opportunity he cherished deeply.

The two of them often attended games together, with Kobe guiding Gigi as she followed in his footsteps, aspiring to make her mark on the game just like her father did. Kobe had spoken often about how proud he was of Gigi’s passion for basketball, and her dreams to one day play in the WNBA.

That night at the Hawks game, as they watched Trae Young light up the court, it was a moment that symbolized the future, not just of the Lakers legend, but of the next generation of basketball talent — a future that, tragically, would never fully materialize for Gigi.

Jon Bon Jovi is undeniably one of the most recognizable names in the music world. As the frontman of the legendary band Bon Jovi, he has achieved global stardom, earning countless accolades, chart-topping hits, and a place in the annals of rock history. However, beyond his fame as a rock star, philanthropist, and global icon, Jon’s most enduring legacy may lie in his commitment to his family, particularly his long-standing marriage to Dorothea Hurley.

Jon and Dorothea’s relationship is one that has stood the test of time, a rare example of stability amidst the chaotic world of celebrity. Their partnership has become one of the most admired in the entertainment industry, offering a refreshing contrast to the often short-lived marriages and high-profile breakups that seem to dominate Hollywood headlines.

From the moment they met in high school in New Jersey, Jon and Dorothea’s connection was undeniable. While Jon’s career skyrocketed, and the world became enamored with his rock star persona, Dorothea has always been by his side, grounded and unpretentious.

What makes their relationship even more remarkable is the way they’ve navigated the intense pressures of fame. In a world where privacy is often compromised, Jon and Dorothea have managed to keep their personal lives out of the spotlight, focusing on their shared values and commitment to each other.

Their marriage, which began in 1989, is a testament to their mutual respect, love, and the deep bond they’ve built over the years. They have raised four children together, balancing their family life with Jon’s demanding career in a way that has allowed them to remain a close-knit unit.

The couple’s commitment to family is not just a personal choice but has also influenced Jon’s professional decisions. Despite his immense fame, Jon has always prioritized spending time with his wife and children, often opting for a more low-key lifestyle when he’s not on tour.

He has spoken in numerous interviews about the importance of family, explaining that it has been the foundation of his success both in his career and in life. Jon has repeatedly emphasized that the love and support he receives from Dorothea and their children have given him the strength to pursue his passions and continue making music.

In addition to their strong family bond, Jon and Dorothea share a passion for philanthropy. Together, they have worked on numerous charitable endeavors, particularly through the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, which focuses on alleviating hunger and homelessness.

Their shared values of giving back and helping others have created a dynamic partnership not only in their personal lives but also in their philanthropic efforts. The couple’s commitment to making a positive impact on the world serves as a powerful example of how celebrity can be used for the greater good.

Through the years, Jon and Dorothea have navigated the challenges that come with being in the public eye, and their ability to maintain a strong, supportive marriage has been an inspiration to many.

They have proved that it’s possible to have a successful career, a thriving family life, and a lasting marriage, all while staying true to one’s values and integrity. While Jon Bon Jovi will always be remembered for his rock star status, it’s his unwavering devotion to his family that truly defines him as a man.

Their story is a powerful reminder that, in the end, the most important things in life are love, respect, and the people who are there for you through it all. Jon and Dorothea’s enduring relationship is not just a fairytale; it’s a real-life example of how, with mutual respect and a strong foundation, love can withstand the pressures of fame and fortune.

As Jon Bon Jovi continues to rock the world with his music, his family remains his greatest achievement and source of strength, proving that behind the rock star image is a man whose heart belongs to the woman he married all those years ago and the family they’ve built together.

Jada Smith is heartbroken, unfortunately, her son Jaden made the announcement

Every parent wants their children to grow up and leave the “nest” to live their greatest life and start a family. Seeing kids grow and leave home is wonderful and bittersweet.
Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith went through that phase, and although they expected their independent and mature son Jaden to want to live on his own at 16 or 17, they still found it hard when he asked to “leave” on his 15th birthday.

Jaden was born famous. His celebrity parents “robbed” him and Willow of a normal childhood.
    “People

treat me like I’m not a normal human so often,” Jaden told Dazed Magazine in 2018.

He made skater friends and fit in. ”If I wasn’t famous and didn’t have all this sh** going on, and I didn’t have to fly to all these various locations all the time, I would just be here with these guys, every day simply skating. “My vibe,” he said.

Will, his father, told BBC Radio 1Xtra: “Jaden is 100 percent brave.
Anything. Scares parents. Nonetheless, he lives and dies by his aesthetic choices.”
Jaden may have asked his mother to allow him leave due to such behaviour. Jada discussed tr*umatics on Red Table Talk. “At 15 years old, Jaden, and I remember this day well, it’s probably one of my most sad times,” Jada remarked. “You said, ‘Mom, I have to leave here to live my life.

Jada knows her kids best. “Knew. His age. “He was making films—he could truly manage his life,” she said.

“Every child has unique demands. He wanted out. I understood. I experienced freedom outside the bubble. I knew releasing him would accelerate his return.”

Jaden, 23, will live with his parents until 2017. He owns a $4 million property five minutes from his parents.
The end. I’m staying. Jaden told Ellen DeGeneres in 2013 that this house is free. “His house has everything,” he joked. “[Will] says I can get my own house when I make a better movie.

Blake Lively has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni – four months after the film premiered in theaters.

During press for the movie, both the Gossip Girl alum, 37, and the Jane The Virgin actor, 40, were embroiled in feud speculation that began when they weren’t pictured together at events and rumored to have had creative differences on set.

Drama further arose when resurfaced interviews of the actress being ‘rude’ to reporters went viral on social media.

Lively alleged in the lawsuit that Baldoni created a toxic environment on set, showed her nude images and videos of women, and talked to her about his alleged previous porn addiction – which have all been denied by Justin’s legal team, per TMZ.

Amid the news of the lawsuit, resurfaced photos taken in August showed how Blake’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, and BFF Taylor Swift rallied behind her at the height of Baldoni’s.

The couple – who tied the knot in 2012 – also shared a sweet kiss ahead of her quiet birthday festivities at Swift’s vacation home.

The Bad Blood songstress has often shared pictures of the house in the past during her Fourth of July bashes.

Other guests that were visiting Taylor at her mansion included the performer’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, his wife Brittany Mahomes, Bradley Cooper and his daughter Lea.

Not long after her birthday, Variety reportedly confirmed that, ‘the bad blood between’ Blake and Justin ‘is very real.’

And a source told People that, ‘She initially felt very vulnerable and upset. During the promotion of the movie, not one day went by when she was not in the news in an unfavorable light. She’s just not used to this kind of drama.’

The insider added she was ‘pretty surprised at the backlash and drama’ and that the overall situation, ‘felt out of control to her.’

In August, It Ends With Us released in theaters and despite the drama, the movie was a box office success raking in around $351 million on a budget of $25 million.

At the time, Blake was pictured arriving at Taylor’s mansion towards the end of August following backlash for plugging her alcohol brand Betty Booze during the promotion of the movie – which focuses on domestic violence.

She further received backlash after awkward interviews during press for the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s 2016 novel.

In one interview, Lively had been asked how she would respond to someone coming up to her to discuss the themes in the film.

She had quipped in response, ‘Ask for my address or my phone number. Or I could just share my location with you and then we could…’

Past interviews were also resurfaced, such as one from 2016 when a reporter had congratulated Blake – who was pregnant at the time – on her baby bump.

Lively shared the same comment to the reporter who was not pregnant, and could not conceive children of her own.

But drama also surrounded the actress and her co-star Justin Baldoni when fans spotted that the pair seemingly avoided each other at press and red carpet events.

He was also unfollowed by Lively on social media, as well as other cast members and Hoover.

Both Blake and Justin – who did not do any interviews together – were also rumored to have had differences while filming on set of It Ends With Us.

In August, one source told People in regards to Baldoni that, ‘All is not what it seems. There is much more to this story. The principal cast and Colleen Hoover will have nothing to do with him.’

The insider added that Lively ‘wants to direct the next movie, sidelining him and securing the rights from Colleen.’

A separate source told Us Weekly that the drama was due to creative differences amid production.

Lively previously claimed in August that she felt ‘fat-shamed’ by Baldoni and claimed she felt uncomfortable when a kissing scene ‘lingered’ for longer than needed.

And in the lawsuit, Blake also claimed Baldoni made inappropriate inquiries about her weight, comments about her dead father and sexual remarks about the cast and crew.

The situation became so unworkable that she and husband Ryan Reynolds demanded crisis talks during filming to put a stop to the behavior, according to the lawsuit.

Lively also requested: ‘No more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by BL [Blake Lively] outside the scope of the script BL approved when signing onto the project,’ per the filings.

The demands were allegedly accepted by the studio, but the movie’s release was still hampered by a dispute between Lively and Baldoni about how it should be marketed, according to the lawsuit.

Lively claims that Baldoni’s team then engaged in a ‘social manipulation’ campaign to tarnish her reputation.

The lawsuit includes text messages from the director’s publicist to the studio which allegedly say Baldoni, ‘wants to feel like [Lively] can be buried, and ‘We can’t write we will destroy her.’

Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman hit back at the lawsuit as, ‘false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt.’

He insisted the legal action is an attempt by Lively to ‘fix her negative reputation’ after rumors emerged of diva-like behavior on set.

This included, ‘threatening to not showing up to set, threatening to not promote the film, ultimately leading to its demise during release,’ according to Freedman.

The romantic drama follows Lily Bloom played by Blake Lively as she becomes embroiled in an abusive relationship with Justin Baldoni’s Ryle Kincaid.

One alleged point of contention was how the movie should be marketed, with Lively reportedly wanting to make the tale more upbeat in contrast to Baldoni, who felt it should be more focused on the abuse aspect.

Insiders revealed the concerning truth about the on-set tensions, telling DailyMail.com that Blake and Justin clashed over his ‘dismissive’ attitude to her ‘input’ while they were filming scenes that involved abuse.

Fans have since reacted to the actress’s sexual harassment lawsuit, with some siding with Lively and others coming to Baldoni’s defense.

On X, one penned, ‘Blake Lively trying to accuse Justin Baldoni and his team of inciting a smear campaign when this was her behavior. Why not take accountability?’

‘I don’t buy this Blake Lively is suddenly a victim lawsuit. Even the wording of the suit is very slippery and odd. I don’t really see anything worth suing over – she’s just trying to do damage control,’ one shared.

However, other fans on X came to her defense, with one expressing, ‘Every cast member of that movie unfollowed Justin Baldoni. It should’ve been enough for at least side eye him no matter how much u hate Blake Lively.’

Another insisted, ‘Please read the article, guys. This is serious and I understand why she sued. Sexual harassment at work does not look like what you think. Blake Lively is perfectly justified.’

The Bon Jovi frontman was joined by Paul McCartney, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Jelly Roll and more at the Feb. 2 salute.

Just as Bon Jovi has done for 40 years, musicians came to rock at the Los Angeles Convention Center Friday night (Feb. 2) as the band’s namesake, Jon Bon Jovi, was honored at MusiCares 33rd Person of the Year annual gala.

The honoree himself set the tone for the night, opening the evening with “Legendary,” the propulsive first single from the band’s forthcoming album that sounds like a classic Bon Jovi track. “As I look out here at all you tuxedoed executives, I remind you this is a Bon Jovi concert,” Jon Bon Jovi said. “We don’t sit down.”

And there was certainly no sitting as Bon Jovi then introduced Bruce Springsteen, calling him “my mentor, my hero, my brother, my friend,” as the audience of more than 2,000 began chanting the requisite “BRUUUUUUCE.” Springsteen’s participation had been in doubt after his 98-year old mother, Adele, died on Wednesday (Jan. 31).

As Bon Jovi later explained, when Springsteen — MusiCares Person of the Year in 2013 — first got the news about his mother, he was already on a plane to Los Angeles. “I certainly would have understood if he’d said that he couldn’t make it,” Bon Jovi said, “but he wanted to be here tonight for MusiCares. And he wanted to be here tonight for me. And I’m forever grateful to you.”

Two of the most famous musicians from New Jersey (perhaps other than Frank Sinatra) ripped into spirited renditions of Bon Jovi’s 2006 hit “Who Says You Can’t Go Home,” which boasts Springsteenean “Alrights” in the chorus, and Springsteen’s “The Promised Land,” with Bon Jovi playing Springsteen’s trademark harmonica parts before the Boss joined in for a little harmonica duet at the end.

Among those singing along in the audience were Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen, MSNBC host Ari Melber, frequent Bon Jovi collaborator Desmond Child, Rita Wilson, Carly Pearce, Gayle King, Nile Rodgers and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and her husband, Paul. The latter pair made the rounds earlier in the evening, schmoozing with Bon Jovi, 2012 MusiCares honoree Paul McCartney and Springsteen.

Jon Bon Jovi Honored at 2024 MusiCares Gala by Bruce Springsteen

Bon Jovi then sat down, flanked for much of the evening by Springsteen and McCartney, as a constellation of artists took the stage to deliver some of the most beloved anthems in the arena rock canon from the past 40 years. With more than 150 million albums sold, including 12 times platinum rock juggernaut Slippery When Wet, and nearly 20 top 40 hits, there was no shortage of familiar material to draw from.

Melissa Etheridge, joined by Larkin Poe, had the tough task of following Bon Jovi and Springsteen, but proved more than up to the challenge with a sizzling version of Jon Bon Jovi’s No. 1 solo hit, “Blaze of Glory,” from the 1990 film Young Guns ll. Train’s Pat Monahan delivered a stylish take on 2000’s driving hit, “It’s My Life”; Shania Twain turned in a dramatic reading of ballad “Bed of Roses”; Sammy Hagar was joined by guitar slinger Orianthi for Bon Jovi’s first No. 1, 1986’s “You Give Love A Bad Name”; and Jason Isbell pulled out a double neck guitar, similar to the one sported by former band member Richie Sambora, on the iconic “Wanted Dead or Alive.” While many acts pulled from the multi-platinum group’s ’80s and ’90s era, the Goo Goo Dolls dipped into more recent fare, taking on the title track from 2016’s This House is Not for Sale.

Comedian Jim Gaffigan served as a nimble and often hilarious host, good naturedly roasting Jon Bon Jovi for his ’80s fashion and even more so for his ’80s big hair, and even taking to the stage in a replica of a trademark beefcake poster of Jon Bon Jovi from the ’80s in a cut-off Jack Daniels T-shirt, obscenely short denim shorts and a wig with a shocking amount of teased, flowing blond locks. As he sarcastically noted of the ridiculously photogenic Bon Jovi, “You have to wonder where he would have gotten if he was good looking.”

Later, he suggested that Bon Jovi, McCartney and Springsteen, as well as table mate, New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, could form a new iteration of The Traveling Wilburys, with Kraft on lead vocals.

Additionally, a new generation of artists equipped themselves well taking on songs that they had likely grown up with or heard their parents play.  Best new artist nominee Jelly Roll delivered a growly, rollicking “Bad Medicine,” while taking advantage of the playing before a room full of powerful music industry executives to spread a message about an issue close to his heart, drug addiction. The country artist, who spoke at a congressional hearing in support of an anti-fentanyl bill in January, sported a jacket with facts about drug addiction, including one across his back that read “190 people a day overdose and die in the United States of America.”

A pigtailed Lainey Wilson followed with a spirited “We Weren’t Born to Follow,” while Måneskin’s charismatic frontman Damiano David performed a propulsive “Keep the Faith.” Wolfgang Van Halen’s Mammoth WVH delivered a pounding “Have a Nice Day,” and guitar wiz Marcus King showed off his blazing fret work on “Born to Be My Baby.”

Playing on the round, revolving B-stage in the middle of the audience, best new artist nominees The War and Treaty gave one of the evening’s most inspired performances at times singing directly to each other with an elevated, emotional take of “I’ll Be There For You,” Bon Jovi’s 1989 tale of devotion that husband and wife team Michael and Tonya Trotter should definitely consider cutting for their next album. Also utilizing the smaller space to great effect was 17-time Grammy nominee Brandy Clark with a beautiful rendition of  2007’s “(You Want to) Make a Memory.”

The evening also included video tributes from Matthew McConaughey, John Mayer, P!nk, Ed Sheeran and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, who praised Bon Jovi for “his everyday commitment to [help] other people.” Bon Jovi’s myriad philanthropic efforts include the JBJ Soul Foundation, which has built  close to 1,000 units of affordable housing, and JBJ Soul Kitchens, which operate on a pay-it-forward model where those in need volunteer for their meals at the kitchen while paying customers are asked to make a donation that will cover their meal as well as the meal of someone in need.

Kraft, who first met Bon Jovi on the sidelines at the 1997 Super Bowl (“In a game we lost,” he noted), presented Bon Jovi with his award, praising the honoree for his business acumen and social consciousness.

“Unlike the majority of artists and performers, who understandably, are insular, Jon’s always had an empathy for the world at large,” Kraft said. “And he’s shown that impact as a philanthropist. He has used his platform as a global rock star and paired it with his own money and operating skill and created the Soul Foundation… building a model program for solving the vicious cycle of hunger, poverty and homelessness that has now been copied by many others.” He also praised the son of two Marines for his long-lasting marriage to his high school sweetheart, Dorothea.

After thanking Springsteen and McCartney (saying to the Beatle, “I think it’s fair to say that the reason most, if not all, of us are in the room tonight, is because of you.”), Bon Jovi quickly noted that this award wouldn’t have been possible without those around him. “Everything that I’ve accomplished with or without the band or in my philanthropic life has had the support of my family, my friends, bandmates, collaborators and an army of the willing, who’ve been ready to take my dreams and make them a reality,” he said.

He also praised the ability of music as the “common thread” that “moves us when we’re happy and it comforts us when we’re sad and brings us together.” He then spoke of recently buying back his first electric guitar that he sold in 1979 for $100. With his newly reclaimed guitar back in his hands, “the first thing I did was held it, cradled it, really, and then wrote a song… another thing I’ve come to know is that every time that I strum my guitar, I’m reminded that I have a best friend for life. That instrument will never let you down.”

Bon Jovi then thanked MusiCares for providing assistance to those musicians not as fortunate as himself, who have needed a helping hand. Since 1991, MusiCares has handed out more than $110 million to provide essential support for programs and services assisting the music community, including physical and mental health, addiction recovery, preventive clinics, unforeseen personal emergencies, and disaster relief.

Ending by saying, “the 18-year-old in me wants to sing with everybody else,” Bon Jovi called his band back to the stage, including keyboardist David Bryan and drummer Tico Torres, as well all the evening’s participating artists (minus Springsteen) to perform the group’s beloved anthem and 1987 Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper “Livin’ on a Prayer.” Jon Bon Jovi roamed the stage, hugging and trading lyrics with many of the performers to close the evening.

    Pinky promise!

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce had a subtle matching moment at her Eras Tour wrap party earlier this month.

While it’s unclear whether their jewelry itself was identical, Swifties still pointed out the cuteness of the connection.

“I like shiny things, but I’d marry you with pinky rings,” one fan posted on X, changing the lyrics of Swift’s song “Paper Rings.”

Another theorized the rings had a special meaning, writing, “And if I told you these were PINKY PROMISE rings!?!?!?”

The Celtics superstar stands alone in the franchise record books.

Celtics' Jayson Tatum makes history in MVP performance vs. Bulls – NBC Boston

Saturday at United Center, the Boston Celtics exacted revenge on the Chicago Bulls behind a historic performance by Jayson Tatum.

The five-time All-Star erupted for 43 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists in the Celtics’ 123-98 bounce-back win. It marked his first triple-double of the campaign and the third of his career in the regular season.

He’s the first player in Celtics history to notch at least 40 points, 15 rebounds, and 10 assists in a game. It was the first 40-point triple-double by a Celtic since Larry Bird. Tatum accomplished the feat while shooting a scorching 16-of-24 from the floor, including 9-of-15 from 3-point range.

James Harden is the only other player in NBA history to have 40 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, and nine 3-pointers. He tallied 53 points, 16 rebounds, and 17 assists with nine 3s in 2016 with the Houston Rockets against the New York Knicks.

Jayson Tatum-led Celtics triumph over Bulls: 6 takeaways

Tatum actually got off to a slow start with only three points in the opening quarter. But once he got going, there was nothing the Bulls could do to slow him down.

The 26-year-old caught fire with 13 points in the second quarter, 18 in the third, and nine in the fourth. He spoke to NBC Sports Boston’s Abby Chin after the game about finding his groove.

“It’s a long game. You try to find ways to pick your spots, pick your stretches, especially on a team that’s this good,” Tatum told Chin.

“We’ve got so many guys that offensively, it’s just about finding your moments to dominate the game. Joe (Mazzulla) always just tries to get me to dominate and amplify my teammates and make guys better in different ways.”

Exclusive with Jayson Tatum after historic performance vs. Chicago

Abby Chin caught up with Jayson Tatum after his triple-double vs. the Bulls.
Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla heaped praise on his superstar, who he believes still isn’t getting enough recognition for his greatness.

“I say this about him all the time because he’s been doing great things for such a long time. I still think he gets taken for granted,” Mazzulla said. “Because he’s done it for a long time, and because it comes relatively easy to him, and we’re in Boston, which is the expectation. But it was a big-time performance by him.”

The one accolade that still eludes Tatum is the NBA MVP award. Most sportsbooks currently give him the fifth-best odds to earn the honor in 2025.

Mazzulla was asked whether he feels Tatum’s talents are overlooked in the MVP conversation.

“Yeah, no question, 100 percent it does,” he answered. “Again, because he’s been doing it for so long and he’s on a really good team, and I think that hurts him sometimes. But just his ability to do what he does on a great team, I think, says more about him as a player.”

After Saturday’s rout of the Bulls, Tatum is averaging 28.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists while shooting 45.3 percent from the floor this season. He’ll look to add to his MVP case when the C’s visit the Orlando Magic on Monday night.

Justin Baldoni allegedly used a negative social media post about Hailey Bieber as an example of how he hoped his public relations team could organize a retaliatory smear campaign against his It Ends with Us costar Blake Lively, a newly filed complaint from her legal team claims.

A series of private text messages used as an exhibit in Lively’s sexual harassment lawsuit against the actor and director allegedly shows Baldoni, 40, texting and emailing with PR executive Jennifer Abel and crisis management expert Melissa Nathan as they planned what Lively, 37, claims was a smear campaign meant to “destroy” her reputation.

Baldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman has denied Lively’s allegations, calling them “false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt,” in a statement to PEOPLE on Dec. 21.

In one exchange dated Aug. 4, the complaint obtained by PEOPLE on Dec. 21 shows that Baldoni texted a screenshot of a post on X (formerly Twitter) about Bieber, 28, titled “Hailey Bieber’s history of bullying many women.”

“This is what we would need,” Baldoni wrote in the text, per the complaint, to which Abel replied: “Yes I literally just spoke to Melissa about this on the break about what we discussed last night for social and digital. Focus on Reddit, TikTok, [Instagram].”

Per the complaint, on the same day, Abel sent a message to Nathan stating: “I’m having reckless thoughts of wanting to plant pieces this week of how horrible Blake is to work with… Just to get ahead of it.”

“Same,” Nathan responded at the time, noting that one journalist friend of hers was “ready when we are,” according to the complaint.

Fans have speculated about an alleged feud between Bieber and Selena Gomez, who formerly dated Justin Bieber, for several years, but in September 2022, the Rhode founder addressed the ongoing rumors during a conversation on Alex Cooper’s Call her Daddy podcast. The model told Cooper that it is “not [her] character to mess with someone’s relationship,” adding that it’s “all love” between both her Gomez.

Lively alleged in her complaint filed in California, which is a precursor to filing a discrimination lawsuit, that “she has suffered from grief, fear, trauma, and extreme anxiety” because of Baldoni’s behavior “behind closed doors.”

According to Lively’s complaint, “the emotional impact on Ms. Lively has been extreme, not only affecting her, but her family, including her husband and four children.”

According to the complaint, the production and crew of It Ends with Us, including Lively’s husband  Ryan Reynolds, held a meeting to discuss Baldoni’s behavior toward the Gossip Girl alum. Some of the protections sought were “no more improvising of kissing” and “no more personal, physical touching of, or sexual comments by, Mr Baldoni or Mr Heath to be tolerated by [Blake Lively] and/or any of her employees, as well as any female cast or crew without their express consent.”

Other requests included: “no more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by BL outside the scope of the script BL approved when signing onto the project,” all which Baldoni and the filmmakers agreed to. Lively claims in the filing that Baldoni subsequently took part in a “social manipulation” campaign to “destroy” her reputation soon after.

Sony Pictures and Wayfarer Studios, of which Baldoni is co-chairman and co-founder, are also named as defendants in the suit.

Elsewhere in the complaint, Lively’s attorneys shared Baldoni’s publicists’ purported plan of action in the alleged smear campaign against her, including “planting stories about the weaponization of feminism and how people in BL’s circle like Taylor Swift, have been accused of utilizing these tactics to ‘bully’ into getting what they want.”

“Our recommended approach would be to provide reporters who reach out for comment, should it be obvious she’s referring to you, with the appropriate background information … to ensure their stories are balanced and the speculation can be turned to another one of the many people she’s had issues working with (Leighton Meester, Anna Kendrick, Ben Affleck, etc.),” the publicists’ documents added, per the complaint.

In a statement given to The New York Times for its Dec. 21 report, Lively said, “I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted.”

Freedman, Baldoni’s lawyer, said in his statement on Saturday that Lively’s complaint was to “fix her negative reputation.”

Freedman additionally asserted that representatives of Wayfarer Studios “did nothing proactive nor retaliated, and only responded to incoming media inquiries to ensure balanced and factual reporting and monitored social activity. What is pointedly missing from the cherry-picked correspondence is the evidence that there were no proactive measures taken with media or otherwise; just internal scenario planning and private correspondence to strategize which is standard operating procedure with public relations professionals.”
