Jayson Tatum Responds After Getting Dissed By Ex-NBA Star

Jayson Tatum heard the outside noise and responded after getting shade thrown at him by a former NBA star.

The Boston Celtics forward became a talking point during last week’s episode of the “Gil’s Arena” podcast. Host Gilbert Arenas had a fiery discussion about Tatum with former NBA veterans Brandon Jennings and Nick Young.

Jennings raised the question of whether or not Tatum is “the softest” superstar in Celtics history. The former Milwaukee Bucks star argued that Tatum very well could be.

“Is he the softest Boston Celtics superstar ever?” Jennings asked. “…I’ll be more afraid of Jaylen Brown than Jayson Tatum, like if I’m on the court. … [Averaging] 28 don’t make you tough.”

While Arenas tried to defend Tatum, Young also agreed with Jennings that Tatum is “too quiet” and “not aggressive enough” to be considered tough.

Tatum initially let his play do the talking. The next game after Jennings’ tirade against him went viral, the Celtics star dropped a game-high 29 points in a 118-106 win over the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena.

But Tatum also doubled down with a post on Instagram mocking the “soft” narrative pushed by Jennings.

“SoFtesT SuPeRstar in CeLtiC HiStoRy,” Tatum captioned his post.

Tatum finally won an NBA championship last season. He has also earned three consecutive All-NBA 1st-Team nods and five straight All-Star selections.

However, Tatum’s accolades have yet to silence his doubters completely. Losing out on the NBA Finals MVP trophy has left Tatum’s critics with some ammunition to use against him.

But on the court, Tatum has looked as good as ever in his eighth NBA season. Through 34 games, the 26-year-old has averaged 28.1 points on 46.3% shooting from the field. He’s also posting career highs in rebounds (9.2) and assists (5.5).

Earlier this week, the Boston Celtics played the Denver Nuggets in Colorado.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics to a 118-106 victory.

He finished with 29 points, four rebounds, six assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 11/23 from the field.

After the game, Tatum was asked about Nuggets star Russell Westbrook (h/t CLNS Media Boston Sports Network).

Tatum: “I love Russ to death. I can’t say enough good things about him: what he’s meant to the game, the NBA, one of the best players to ever play and how he’s inspired so many kids… You just cherish those moments where you play against legends… I’m pretty close with Russ. It’s always fun the few matchups a year that we get with each other.”

Westbrook finished the loss with 26 points, nine rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block while shooting 9/18 from the field and 4/9 from the three-point range in 33 minutes of playing time.

Over 17 matchups, Tatum has a 12-5 record against Westbrook.

With the victory, the Celtics improved to 27-10 in 37 games, which has them as the second seed in the Eastern Conference.

They will play their next game on Friday night when they host De’Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings in Boston.

Tatum is in his eighth season.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets rebounded by defeating the LA Clippers 126-103 on Wednesday.

They are the fourth seed in the Western Conference with a 21-15 record in 36 games.

Westbrook is in his first season with Denver.

Veteran journalist Jann Wenner implicitly criticized Cameron Diaz as an unpleasant person, 16 years ago she even said “I wish you had cancer” to reporters.

According to PageSix, in his memoir Like a Rolling StoneRolling Stone co-founder Wenner implicitly criticized star Cameron Diaz.

Wenner, who also owns Us Weekly, wrote in his book that in the mid-2000s, one of the newspaper’s first breaking news stories was a photo of singer Justin Timberlake kissing a famous actress on a surfboard.

Although Wenner didn’t name Cameron Diaz by name, his spelling seems to be a reference to Charlie’s Angels star. In 2006, the scene of her kissing Timberlake while the two were on vacation in Hawaii was captured by reporters and became hot news at that time.

The veteran journalist described the actor as having an unpleasant personality. Even at the time, this person told a reporter: “I hope you have cancer.”

When asked by PageSix for comment, the actress’s representative refused to answer.

The memoir Like a Rolling Stone was written by journalist Jann Wenner, about the process of working and the experience of interacting with celebrities. The book also mentions other characters such as Tom Cruise, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Angelina Jolie,…

Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake were once Hollywood’s A-list couple. They first met in 2003 at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards when the actress presented the Best Burp award to the former NSYNC member. They quickly fell in love and dated, but ended in 2007.

Although the two announced their peaceful breakup, a few weeks later, the couple caused a stir at the Golden Globes party. Diaz reportedly approached Timberlake when he was chatting with Jessica Biel (now his wife) and had a tense conversation.

The Cry Me a River singer mentions this evening in his 2018 memoir. He wrote: “Biel and I planned to meet at the Golden Globes party. The two were still dating other people at that time. It took a while for us to admit that we really love each other.”

Timberlake married Biel in 2012 and has two children together: sons Silas, 7, and Phineas, 2. Meanwhile, Diaz married Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden in 2015. The two welcomed a baby girl, Raddix, through surrogacy in December 2019.

According to Page Six, ever since Britney Spears announced her memoir Woman In Me, Justin Timberlake has been extremely worried about the secrets that could be revealed.

“He was curious and worried about what she would say regarding their relationship. This is eating away at him,” the source said.

Another source from Us Weekly previously confirmed that Britney Spears’ shocking memoir will “destroy” Justin Timberlake “strongly”. However, a representative in the publishing industry affirmed that the book only gives the perspective of a “pop princess” and does not intend to “take revenge or slander” anyone.

    Không có mô tả ảnh.

“This is Britney when she finally has the opportunity to tell her powerful story. Nothing more than this story,” the source shared.

Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears had a tumultuous breakup in 2002 after three years of dating. At that time, the male singer shared that he had an agreement with his ex-girlfriend that he would not reveal the reason for “everyone going their separate ways”. However, when rumors of Britney’s affair broke out, the SexyBack singer did not try to vindicate her. He even confused with the statement: “To be honest, we are not perfect. I don’t judge anyone.”

Not stopping there, in the explosive documentary series Framing Britney Spears released in 2021, it is thought that Justin Timberlake once gave a negative story about his ex-girlfriend in the press. This story made the audience believe that Britney was unfaithful and that this was the cause of the couple’s breakup.

Lance Bass hopes fans will forgive Justin Timberlake.

The former *NSYNC band member, 44, recently spoke up about his thoughts on the recent backlash his former bandmate has been getting after Britney Spears made several revelations about their previous relationship in her memoir The Woman in Me.

“Look, I mean everyone has their own opinion,” Bass said, according to a video released on TMZ. “I just feel like the world is so full of hate right now that we need to practice a little forgiveness.”

“Britney did. So, let’s take a note from her,” he added.

The “Better Place” singer, who appeared to be at the airport, noted that he already purchased Spears’ memoir and was planning to “read it on the plane.”

“Everyone deserves to tell their story,” Bass shared. “She did and, you know, I hope the fans can again find some forgiveness.”

Earlier this week, Timberlake turned off his Instagram comments after the “Toxic” singer dropped several bombshells in her memoir about their 1999 to 2002 relationship. This included allegations that he cheated on her and that she had an abortion after Timberlake told her that he “didn’t want to be a father.”

“I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” Spears wrote in the book. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

Though he has not yet commented on Spears’ revelations, Timberlake has expressed regret for his past behavior and shared support for Spears as she sought to end her 13-year conservatorship, which was officially terminated in November 2021.

“We should all be supporting Britney at this time. Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter at the time. “No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body. No one should EVER be held against their will… or ever have to ask permission to access everything they’ve worked so hard for.”

Spears told PEOPLE via email ahead of her memoir’s release that, “It is finally time for me to raise my voice and speak out, and my fans deserve to hear it directly from me. No more conspiracy, no more lies — just me owning my past, present and future.”

Justin Timberlake appears to have poked fun at his recent legal troubles during his latest concert in Boston.

On Saturday, June 29, the 43-year-old Grammy winner spoke to his Forget Tomorrow World Tour crowd at the TD Garden, when he seemed to allude to his June 18 DWI arrest with a brief joke.

“So uh, is there anyone here tonight that is driving and … no I’m just kidding,” Timberlake said, apparently nodding to his arrest over a week before in Sag Harbor, New York, for allegedly driving while intoxicated.

Timberlake’s brief one-liner prompted an uproar of laughter and applause in the nearly 20,000-capacity arena, before he asked his real question: “Is there anyone here tonight, that it’s your first time here to the show? Is there anybody here that you’ve been to 1, 2, 3, maybe 4 of our shows?”

“For all of you that it’s your first time tonight — on a serious note — I hope that you feel the fellowship and the love,” he continued.

The *NSYNC alum then used the remainder of his speaking intermission to reiterate some of the points he already made during a few other shows — specifically, his June 22 gig at Chicago’s United Center, where he acknowledged fans who he’s “grown up with.”

“For those of you that have been with me through all the weird haircuts … don’t act like y’all didn’t have bad haircuts! I took one for the team. Maybe like 3 or 4 for the team, but who’s counting,” Timberlake said in Boston. “But it’s been almost three decades together, you guys.”

Timberlake’s latest onstage comments arrive almost two weeks after his June 18 arrest, when the pop star was pulled over after leaving the American Hotel in Sag Harbor and charged with one count of DWI and two citations. Timberlake’s citations were for allegedly running a stop sign and failure to keep in lane.

He’s due back in court on July 26, however, PEOPLE has learned the hearing will be virtual, and that Timberlake’s lawyer will attend on his behalf as the singer will be on tour in Europe at that time.

Per an arrest report obtained by PEOPLE, an officer spotted Timberlake’s 2025 BMW “fail to keep on the right side of the roadway” and drive through a stop sign. After a traffic stop, the officer claimed Timberlake “performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”

According to the report, the singer told authorities, “I had one martini and I followed my friends home.”

Timberlake’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr., said in a statement on June 19: “Mr. Burke looks forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time. He is currently awaiting full discovery from the DA’s office.”

A source told PEOPLE on June 27 that Timberlake and his wife, Jessica Biel, are focused elsewhere following his arrest and “have faith in their legal team and continue to focus on work and their family instead.”

“They’re always supportive of each other’s careers,” the source added. “Jess would never miss a show when she’s able to attend. She’s excited for him. They’ve moved on from the arrest.”

The insider’s comments came after Biel, 42, was spotted dancing in the crowd during her husband’s tour stop at Madison Square Garden in New York City on June 25.

Timberlake hits the stage again at the TD Garden on Sunday, June 30.

Fans were looking right at the other half of Justin Timberlake after a stage malfunction during one of his concerts drew too much attention below the belt.

The Grammy-winning singer, who’s currently on his best-selling Forget Tomorrow World Tour, went about business as usual while performing at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Dec. 12. However, a wardrobe malfunction involving a tight-fitted harness has been going viral.

A TikTok video filmed by a concert goer showed Timberlake, 43, trying to situate himself in the harness and fans we all abuzz about how it seemed to accidentally highlight his groin.

In the clip, Timberlake can be seen pulling at the bottom of his shirt in order to cover the area.

The harness is used for his performance of “Mirrors,” during which he sings over the crowd on a suspended platform.

The comment section of the video, which has reached 5.5 million views as of writing, included a few quips comparing Timberlake’s mishap to a malfunction Chris Brown had during one his 11:11 Tour shows in Canada this past summer.

Comments referring to “Chris brown in a harness” didn’t specify the incident, however Daily Mail reported on an accident that highlighted Brown’s “manhood” while The Hollywood Reporter shared a video of the singer stuck in the air mid-concert.

Timberlake hasn’t yet commented on the malfunction or the video.

The Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which is anticipated to be one of the bestselling tours of the year, kicked off in April. Timberlake announced the news on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in January after releasing his single “Selfish.” He released his sixth studio album Everything I Thought I Was on March 15.

In October, Timberlake postponed tour dates from Oct. 23 to Nov. 2 following a diagnosis with bronchitis and laryngitis. He then canceled the Dec. 2 show in New Orleans due to an ongoing back injury.

Timberlake’s two-hour long concerts features a 29-song set list that includes fan favorites such as “My Love,” “Cry Me a River,” “Suit & Tie,” and “Rock Your Body” as well as songs from his newest project.

Justin Timberlake’s plan to regain the trust of his wife Jessica Biel after his latest scandals

The American pop star wants to redeem herself and save her marriage

    Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel.

With the promise of leaving behind his old ways, singer and actor Justin Timberlake wants to win back his wife Jessica Biel and save his 12-year marriage after the great infidelity scandals in which he was involved and which began in 2019 after being caught with actress Alisha Wainwright.

However, that’s not the only thing Timberlake has to correct, as he also needs to curb his alcohol consumption and avoid getting behind the wheel of a car at all costs, a fact for which he was arrested last June in Sag Harbor, New York, and had to plead guilty to a minor charge.

Justin has taken a break from his Forget Tomorrow world tour to pamper his wife, who is happy to be looking after their two children, Silas and Phineas, aged nine and four, respectively.

“Justin wants to be the perfect husband”

A source close to the couple, who asked not to be identified, told radaronline how Jessica feels about Justin’s dispersion and his proclivity to ‘misbehave’: “The time apart has been a relief for Jessica. She needed the space to focus on herself rather than always tending to Justin’s needs. It’s been really hard for Jessica to put up with these ups and downs. Justin knows this and is determined to make sure she’s totally pampered when he’s home for the holidays. There won’t be any of the usual late nights out. Instead, he’s focusing his attention on being the perfect husband”.

Time is running out for Justin

The source told the publication that Jessica loves Justin, but is very tired of his frat boy behavior. “She wants a husband, not a project. Next year, she wants him to really get to work on his family, and take care of some of the heavy lifting with the kids.”

So time is running out for Justin Timberlake and it really is a wake-up call for the singer if he wants to stop stretching the rope so much and constantly putting Jessica Biel in the predicament of whether to stay or end her relationship with him, with a painful divorce in between.

Pop prince Justin Timberlake recently vowed to alter his tune over the holidays to get back into the good graces of his long-suffering actress wife, Jessica Biel, RadarOnline.com has reported.

The “SexyBack” singer, 43, has been busy struggling to remain relevant on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour. However, he is taking a break to “spoil” the 7th Heaven alum, 42, who’s been home caring for their two boys, Silas, 9, and 4-year-old Phineas.

“The time apart has actually been a welcome relief for Jessica”, as per an insider. “She needed the space to focus on herself instead of always catering to Justin’s needs.”

Even though he got off with just a wrist-slap by pleading guilty to a lesser charge, the celeb couple’s rocky 12-year marriage has been hanging by a thread since Timberlake’s embarrassing DWI arrest in Sag Harbor, N.Y., last June,

Justin previously strained the marriage in 2019 when he was caught holding hands with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright, 35, during a night out in New Orleans.

“It’s taken a lot for Jessica to hang on through these ups and downs,” the source added.

“Justin knows that and he’s determined to make sure she’s totally spoiled when he’s home for the holidays. There aren’t going to be any of the usual boys’ nights out. Instead, he’s concentrating his focus on being the perfect husband.

“Jessica loves Justin but she’s so tired of his frat boy behavior.

She wants a husband, not a project. In the coming year, she wants him to really step up and do some of the heavy lifting with the kids.

The insider said: “He’s agreed to be 110 percent there for her when he’s not on tour so that she can start to focus on her own career again.”

As First Lady Michelle Obama noted earlier today, “You never know what’s going to happen at the White House!”

Mrs. Obama was talking to a group of students who had come from California, Tennessee, New York, Florida, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C to participate in an interactive workshop called “Soulsville, USA: The History of Memphis Soul.” And while her guests were excited to be in the State Dining Room for the event, the presence of Justin Timberlake on the panel increased their enthusiasm.

Timberlake, Sam Moore, Mavis Staples, Charlie Musselwhite and Ben Harper are all participating in the “In Performance at the White House: Memphis Soul” event later tonight, and the First Lady invited them to join the students for a conversation about this truly American art form, and the hard work involved in being a successful musician or artist.

Mrs. Obama talked about how she had learned to play the piano when she was younger, and her personal regret that she did not stay with it. But as she told the students, she took something from that experience that has helped her throughout her life. “I still remember the hours that it would take to learn just one section of a song,” she said. “The discipline, the patience, the diligence I learned through the study of music — those are all skills that I apply every single day in my life. I applied them as a student, as a lawyer, as a First Lady, and definitely as a mother. So every moment of every day, you have the chance to commit yourselves to your craft. And stick with it especially when those times — it gets a little hard. Just stick with it.”

The First Lady then encouraged the students to take full advantage of being at the White House, and to learn everything they could ask from the musicians on the panel:

You’re going to have a chance to hear some stories and songs from these folks up here on stage who have so graciously given their time.

But, look, as you listen, I want you all to keep one thing in mind — and I try to say this to every young person that I encounter that walks through those doors — but realize that none of these folks up here arrived here on the basis of talent alone. They’re here because they’ve been working hard to perfect their craft since they were at least your age and many of them even younger.
